Warm loving vet care. From the moment you walk through the door and meet the receptionist you’re greeted with understanding, respect and care. Your animal becomes a part of a larger animal family. The doctors care for your pet as if it were their own and if one happens to pass (God forbid) they feel your pain just a much as you do. Over the years I’ve brought my daughters ferret who lived beyond normal ferret expectancies I believe in part to the care she received here as well as at home. Her name was GiGi and every time she came in she was treated like a superstar so she became a sweet diva that couldn’t wait for her visits even to the very last one. My Oreo was the same way and as you probably can tell I’ve been with them for a lot of years now they take care of my Freya and my mother’s Shadow and I must say I wouldn’t change one thing. All my animals have lived very long happy lives, even though I wish for longer, many are surprised when I tell them how long so I a very happy animal parent because they are not really pets to us they are family. Thank you to EVERYONE at the New Rochelle Animal Clinic.Angelique Murphy & Family
Took my fur baby, Cider to this Vet and had a great experience. The wait to be seen was not long. The young lady at the front desk was so friendly, professional and polite. The Vet Tech was great with him. She was very informative and gentle with my fur baby. This facility even offer grooming services and she was great. She was so sweet to my pup. I love his haircut!! Oh and I must add....the facility is emaculate. Am so happy that I found this Vet for my puppy 😊
This facility is just Great! Everyone is so nice, compassionate and kind. I take my sweet girl Byrdie, my kitty, to get her monthly mani and pedi and they bear with me as sometimes I have to reschedule because Byrdie doesn’t feel like going out on some appointment days (i.e. refuses to go into her carrier) . They are very understanding when I have to reschedule. We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful facility helping us take care of our pets in the New Rochelle area.
One of our dogs has epilepsy. The doctors and staff at New Rochelle Animal Hospital have made a serious situation much easier. Their professionalism and caring, have not only made us more comfortable but they have made our pets feel more comfortable too. Ordering their medication on the website is very easy.. They have cared for our pets for many years, and will continue to care for them for many years to come.
A friend recommended NRAH to me several years ago for my baby Baxy. Dr. Paul and the rest of the staff have always from day one been very professional and caring to me and my dog. Dr. Paul goes out of his way to explain everything in full. He is extremely caring and loves all his furry friends as family members. He calls to checkup on his patients. You don’t fine that anywhere these days.I highly recommend NRAH and Dr. Paul to all my and Baxter’s friends and families.
I’ve been taking my dog to NRAH for a year and half, and finally decided to go elsewhere because of overall poor and unfriendly care. There have been multiple occasions of poor (or lack of) communication about test results, prescription refills, and next steps for treatment. In addition, the receptionists, techs, and vets have been unfriendly to say the least. You want a vet who your pet feels comfortable going to and will receive warm and diligent care, but my experience at NRAH did not meet that standard.
My dog had been in this hospital constantly over a 3 month span. Countless antibiotics for a skin infection and 2 cultures just shy of a month apart… he never got better and the doctor couldn’t explain how or what was wrong. I do understand that with animals diagnosing is hard. I spent so much money that I finally decided to put my beloved dog down. I hired an at home service for my pup and the vet who came, who has an INCREDIBLE resume, said by his smell, and examining his skin, my dog had cancer. Which would explain why the many different antibiotics didn’t work. So disappointed that a biopsy was never performed. Nor was any real efforts made for my dog. My heart is completely broken. I wish instead of the cultures and meds one of the vets would have simply thought about a biopsy. Every appointment and call seemed rushed. Which is a hard and difficult experience when you truly love and care for your pet. Overall this isn’t a bashing post, just more of a disappointment. I wish more was done and more attention was given to my dogs severe condition.
I LOVE NEW ROCHELLE ANIMAL HOSPITAL! Something about it just feels like home, even away! I came here first when I adopted my angel baby Blue at 11 months from the Humane Society Of New Rochelle (highly recommend), and since then… even when I DONT have an appointment, NRAH and the caring and passionate staff are always more than willing to help when they can in between their busy schedules helping other pets. They are AMAZING with prescription approvals! The response time to Chewy is always amazing, and I have also called in to get an appointment for my pup, and before the appointment they were able to ease my worries by offering some remedies to try until my appointment day. Dr. Paul Schwartzreich is PASSIONATE, knowledgeable, and has a great personality and a gentle touch for my boy! Can’t wait to bring my Blue in again for a visit. I could not find my picture from our last visit on FB, but it’s also a plus that they make everyone part of the family with a photo. ❤️
Whenever we arrive at the veterinarian office, we look forward to a greeting fromToby the cat and his human professional staff. This is the place where everyone knows your name, your cats name, your other cats name. The warm welcome from the staff is a bright spot after a typically challenging process of traveling with our kitty. We have gladly recommended Dr Schwartzreich and his team to several of our friends.
I got here at 6:20, the emergency entrance was locked and no one was answering that door or the main entrance. My dog had an emergency and your hours clearly stated you’re open till 7pm on Mondays. My dog was in pain, I had already paid for a cab, and you wasted my time and money. Don’t put false hours when you clearly decide to close whenever you feel like it!!!! That emergency entrance sign should be covered because I had an emergency and there was clearly no help there!!!!
I have been taking my dog there for the past 13 years. Last December he was diagnosed with heart failure and I thought I was going to lose him. However, Dr. Paul took action, gave me hope, and started him on the right treatment. My almost 14 year old dog is energetic and doing well again. The staff and Dr. Paul are very understanding and provided good care and follow ups. I highly recommend him.
We have been coming here for years after a friend of ours recommended Dr. Schwartzreich. He is incredibly smart and really cares about the animals in his care. The staff is also kind and caring. Our dog can he a handful and they always remember him, remember his preferences, and are so sweet to him. Highly recommend.
If I could give this vet hospital/clinic a 100% I would. The staff and doctors are excellent they keep my 🦮 healthy & safe. They frequently board my baby & she loves them.Special Thanks from D’og Cummings 🦴Update 11/2023 the more I come here the more I feel like family. My Dog is always welcomed with open arms she brightens up every time she sees the front desk staff RANADA, ANGELA & EMILY are truly exceptional with my pet. I cannot remember everyones name but smooches to you all.
Great vet office. The front staff super friendly, the facility impeccable and no wait time. Best of all Dr. Paul Schwartzreich the veterinarian owner, an smart and compassionate person who truly loves what he does.
Dr. Schwartzreich is a very professional and knowledgeable vet. He has taken care of our 3 dogs. His staff is friendly, pleasant, and easy going. The office and exam rooms are always clean. We’ve been to several other vets in the area and are most comfortable coming here. My family and I highly recommend this animal hospital. Thanks for your help and care with our pups, Dr. Schwartzreich!!
This hospital is truly here to help animals. They are generally for the people. The doctor saved my dog. He went out his way to ensure my dogs life. I cant thank the staff enough for they help.
Dr. Paul Schwartzreich and his team are professional and caring. My doggie is always treated with thorough health care and concern. I’ve been taking my fur babies here for almost 20 years. I wouldn’t trust anyone or any place else.
I love Dr. S and the entire staff. Sam and Maria are the best! They are always welcoming and comforting… I’ve been taking my pups there for years and Dr. S is always on point… Definitely give them a try !!
For over 10 years, I think my pets have had great care from New Rochelle Animal hospital. The front desk staff are caring and helpful. The veterinarian is very smart, dedicated and direct about things.
The staff have always been friendly and helpful. They send reminders, which I definitely need. The vet is thorough with examinations and follow up.
I was considering adopting a dog with a medical condition I wasnt knowledgeable about, and i wanted to make an appointment to talk to a vet about the condition before committing to adopt the dog. Upon calling, the miserable and rude receptionist made sure I would never be a client. I cannot imagine dealing with such an awful woman in the future if I actually had a sick animal.Edit: I hung up because she kept me on hold so long I thought shed never pick up again. I did not ask her for medical advice at any point. I requested a consultation with the veterinarian, and at NO point was I rude to her, ghastly as she was to interact with. Concerning the other myriad of complaints about her, its a wonder shes lasted 10+ years.
My Mini-doodle got into some dark chocolate and they saw her immediately. A couple of hours later, and a little lighter, she is fine and ready to go home!Thank you to the entire staff A they are ALL wonderful, caring people!
Dr. Schwartzreich is amazing! Very detailed when talking to you about your dog! Very patient, and compassionate about animals! This is a big plus for me, as my Princess Loki happens to be very fearful of men! I always had female doctors! Her doctor left the practice, so I thought it was time I found a found a-veterinarian that was closer to where I live! I decided to try New Rochelle Animal Hospital, and that’s when I met him, and explained to him about my dog being fearful. He was just so gentle and kind to her. He had no problem whatsoever examining her that’s when I knew this was going to be my place! I highly recommend if you want quality care, come here!! The staff is awesome as well, that’s a big plus❤️🐾🐾
I have been taking my bichons here since puppies. From neutering, emergency back surgery, food/seasonal allergies, annual check ups, questions & concerns, name it & they’re there to help. Dr. S always calls to follow up & you could just tell that they really do care about the pets & really want to help. This is the only place I trust and I couldn’t be happier knowing my boys are in the best hands.
Since adopting our rescue dog, Iggy, in November 2020, weve probably had to come here about once a month. He has had chronic GI issues, at times really bad, and we were pretty clueless and full of anxiety. Dr. Schwartzreich was very thorough in ruling out possible causes to the best of his ability before referring us to a specialist for an endoscopy. The vets our dog has seen on his path to diagnosis all agreed with how his care was handled and said they would have followed all the same tests, etc. up to that point. We now know that Iggy has IBD (which Dr. Schwartzreich figured but couldnt be sure anything else was going on without the scope) and hope that with his diagnosis we can start to find the right treatment for him.Aside from the not very nice receptionist that others have mentioned in reviews (I dont think she works there anymore, or at least Ive been lucky not to get her on the phone when Ive called...she even made me cry once), the staff are lovely. Juan, one of the techs, even taught me how to give my dog b12 injections successfully at home. Dr. Schwartzreich has been good about taking the time to call us back whenever we have called with questions, also. All in all, great care, but we hope we wont have to visit so often in the future. We mean that in the best possible way!
Dr. Schwartzreich took care of all my frenchies and American bully, took care of my sisters yorkie, great vet, they also do surgery there, just ask, staff there is amazing Maria, ranada, Angela, Sam, Emily and Rebecca
I have been taking my dog Phoenix to New Rochelle Veterinary Hospital since she was a pup. She had her 1st procedure here (spayed), followed by subsequent wellness visits, and most recently 2 cysts removals along with a dental cleaning. Every experience has been wonderful. Dr. Schwartzreich is very knowledgeable and will personally call to check on your pet after a procedure. He cares about the well-being of your pet.My only qualm was that another dog’s name was on the post-surgical instructions instead of my dog’s name. I’m a healthcare provider and that can be potentially harmful resulting in serious medical errors. Please take extra steps to ensure that this does not occur in the future.
First time coming here with my two cats and it was the best vet experience I’ve ever had. The office is clean and spacious. The vet was very nice and handled both my cats with gentle care and expertise. One of my cats is a kitten so he’s easy to handle but my 1.5 yr old girl cat is more reserved and very scared of the vet so she was hissing and growling while being handled. The vet was still able to do her wellness exam, clean her very gunky ears and cut her nails. Sent us home with flea and ear infection medication for both of them. Everyone here was so polite and professional. I felt confident my cats were in very good hands.
As always, the care and concern showed to my Rory was outstanding! These folks are just the best ever!
I had a schedule appointments on 12/28/22For YaYa, Dr Paul is a great vet and I was please with my visit. He is willing to work with you and I, appreciate it very much! Staff is great as well.
Worst experience ever, I took my dog for a surgery and when I got there the price was increased by 270,and during the surgery I received a phone call to tell me that I needed to pay an additional 180 dollars because my dog was in heat Im in business over 45 years and to be treated like this is unacceptable and unprofessional. This will be the last time I will be using their services and I feel disrespected and taken advantage of
I love them! I find the staff to be very friendly and the doc knows what he is doing. They never try to upsell me or push unnecessary treatments. My dog had cancer and could have died. Thanks to them my little girl is still here and healthy as a bull! When ever I need an appointment they always find a way to squeeze me in. When you call, just be nice and stay calm. They are very busy, you know.
Brought my dog in for a check up after he ate a whole bag of chocolates. The doctors were responsive and quick to the situation. Now my dog is happy and healthy!
Usually don’t leave reviews but this was not the first time I inquired about a service. Perhaps the veterinarians are amazing which gives this place a 5 star but each time I inquired about a service, I was met with a rude staff answering the phone. This time I inquired about neutering services for my cat which the staff proceeds to tell me they don’t give quotes over the phone (fine, I understand) and I would have to come in as a new patient. Before I even get a chance to ask how far out the appointments are, I get hung up on. This is the nearest vet to me but I sure won’t be coming here! They clearly have enough patients to be acting this way
Top marks in all the boxes. Dr. Schwartzreich & Company are a class act dispensing great care, knowledgeable treatment and compassion - the winning combination. I highly recommend them.
My senior Frenchie needed to be spayed. The Westchester Humane Society referred Dr. Schwartzreich to do the procedure. I was very reluctant to have a vet do the procedure that I didn’t meet. Plus, I was very worried about her age and her breathing problem going under general anesthesia. I was given good references from the shelter, another vet and the reviews. I was also informed that he has Frenchies and has experience with the breed. The staff was very professional, patient and answered all my question. When Sophie took her I was a little nervous but Sophie talked to me and I felt better. The hospital is clean and very animal oriented.I got a phone call after the surgery informing she did well and was in heat. The surgery took longer due to her being in heat which the doctor took the time to explain to me. He also explained the after care. I was given pain medication and told I will get a check up call in the morning.I got the call and was asked how she was. I told the lady she hadn’t eaten or drank since the surgery She told me wait until the afternoon. Also, if she hadn’t eaten or drank by then call the hospital. She finally ate and drank. Later that evening I received another call from the hospital asking how she was. I was told if I have any concerns to call. WOW! I don’t even get that kind of concern from my own doctor.I’m very happy that she had her surgery done by Dr. Schwartzreich. I also, found out my veterinarian works for Doctor Schwartzreich so I have the best veterinarians. Again, thank you everyone at the hospital. My best friend and roommate says “thank you”.
Wonderful care from Dr Paul today. My Stella was in great hands today. She was calm and received such attentive care.I recommend New Rochelle Vet !
The vets and the staff go above and beyond to answer questions. Dr. Schwartzreich went out of his way at the end of his long day to insure that my local pharmacy had the medication my pup needed following surgery when he also unexpectedly came down with bordatella. I travel from the west side of the Bronx to New Rochelle to go there despite there being a lot of vet practices closer to me. This is a five star practice where my dog is unafraid and well-cared for and I feel valued and respected.
Another great experience! Ori, our rescue Goldendoodle, is very fearful and reactive…but, Dr. Schwartzreich handles him so well! Bravo!
The staff and Dr are friendly, kind and treat things with a touch of humor. My little fur ball hates going to the vet but that normal for most pets. The take you seriously and listen to you concerns. Bottom line is I trust them to help the little guy when he needs it. I’d definitely recommend them.
Amazing staff, amazing Vet, adorable fur staff walking around as well!! I couldnt be happier with this hospital. Aside from taking excellent care of my resident animals, they always support me and answer any questions or concerns I have regarding my Foster kittens. Every single person on this staff is lovable, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Highly recommend!
From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted by a welcoming atmosphere. The reception staff is friendly and efficient, making the check-in process a breeze. What struck me was the cleanliness and organization of the facility, reflecting a commitment to high standards of hygiene and patient care. The veterinarian Paul, whom I saw, is truly exceptional. Not only is he highly skilled and knowledgeable, but he also demonstrates genuine care and concern for his patients. One aspect that sets New Rochelle Animal Hospital apart is their emphasis on client education. They take the time to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care measures. As a result, I feel empowered to make informed decisions. In addition to their medical expertise, the clinic offers a range of services, including grooming, which is the one service I need for my pet.Their commitment to excellence and their compassionate approach to veterinary care has earned my trust and loyalty. I highly recommend New Rochelle Animal Hospital to any pet owner seeking top-notch veterinary services.
Wonderful practice. We had our first appointment today and my dog was completely calm. While we were entering the exam room, Ollie the resident Top Dog snuck in beside my dog. I closed the door, looked down and suddenly there were two dogs. They had a good time sniffing each other as we waited for the doc. Very funny. I heartily recommend New Rochelle Animal Hospital.
We were not sure what to expect as we heard before Shiba Inus dont do well when visiting the vet. Everyone was friendly, and made us feel comfortable. Our Yoshi is doing great after his round of vaccines and we are happy we found New Rochelle Animal Hospital for his care.
I usually never write reviews but I really hope this helps improve the service at the clinic because it’s a great practice. I’ve been taking my beagle puppy to the New Rochelle Hospital since she was 12 weeks old, she’s now 9 months. I absolutely love the doctors and the assistants. They’re all very welcoming and so sweet. I love how they work and I 100% trust them with my puppy. However, the only piece of the puzzle that doesn’t seem to fit is the staff at the front desk. Every time I call to make an appointment for my puppy they’re so rude to me over the phone. I honestly don’t understand why and it’s every single time. I had an appointment today for my puppy. I walked in said hi very politely and told the front desk person that I had an appointment for Sophia at 3pm, and his response to me was ‘I know, go to exam room 1’. I didn’t want to say anything to the doctor because she was really sweet and she did a great job but now that I think about it that was really rude. Every time I call or come in, it’s the same thing, they’re not welcoming at all and it’s really sad because the doctors and assistants are great. I really mean that, but the front desk could definitely use some kindness. I don’t want to stop taking Sophia there because I really like the doctors but it’s a little frustrating having do deal with such a rude front desk staff in order to get to such nice doctors. I really hope this changes because you guys are great.REVIEW UPDATE: I made the mistake of calling the clinic again to get an appointment for Sophia because I wanted to spay her and once again the front desk was so RUDE!! I’m officially done with this place. The doctors are nice but it seems like they’re not doing anything to improve the HORRIBLE SERVICE at the front desk. I don’t ever like to offend people but whoever picks up the phone is MISERABLE and clearly HATES his/her job. I already got an appointment at the Larchmont Animal Hospital, they were so nice and welcoming on the phone. Sadly, they just lost a client because of the receptionists. Never going back there.
I had a great experience with the New Rochelle Animal Hospital for my puppy! I was a little anxious/nervous about getting my dog neutered and they made my experience enjoyable. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was courteous and attentive. Dr. Schwartzreich had great bedside manner and seemed very cool. Everyone there seems to love what they do and made my doggy’s experience comfortable for him. He was back to his normal happy self within a few days!
A++ service. My cat had an injured paw so I called to bring her in. I was a nervous wreck. The doctor assured me everything would be fine. He obviously has the Midas touch because my cat is always so calm and relaxed around him. He treated her and we were on our way. It’s always a pleasant experience whenever I bring my cat here. The fees are really affordable too.*PIC: my cat was mad at me after her doctor visit 😾
Dr schwartzreich is compassionate and real! He never suggests testing for Malibu that he wouldn’t do for his own dogs! I was impressed with the way he helped me get Malibu into the exam room yesterday. After 7 years of visiting New Rochelle Animal Hospital, Malibu decided she didn’t want to go in. Dr. Schwartzreich responded in a calm and understanding manner and helped me get Malibu treated. I never felt like an inconvenience and Malibu was calm within minutes. His friendly young staff came out to give me an update after a few minutes which made me cared for!Thank you
Ive taken my dog here since she was a puppy. The doctors and staff are friendly, compassionate, and always make my dog feel comfortable. The doctors always explain whats going on with her health and they work with you on prices.
Update! its 5 years later and I just wanted to give a huge thank you to the staff at NRAH ! Their kindness and compassion and knowledge is amazing! I now have a new rescue who is still in the skittish stage and everyone there was so patient with him ! so thankful for NRAH and their staff!!Great staff - friendly and knowledgeableMy 9 year old rescue has some of the usual bumps of age , except one of the bumps. Dr. S walked me through what would needed to be done for the biopsy and I was provided a detailed estimate so I knew the cost before I even bookedAlso had his annual check up and shots while we were in there , and a nail trim ; which is always drama for my dog !Thankful for NRAH and their staff
I will not be taking my cats here anymore. I want to like this place but there front desk staff needs a new job. And they need to get an X-ray machine. I took my cat GhostFace Kitty here and we brought him in for labored breathing. They saw him and paid well over 250 dollars and left us with diagnosis. Said they didn’t have an X-ray machine. No meds no nothing. My cat died a short time later. I then called again because coincidentally now his papa, Meowcus is sick and rushed him to the ER together stable. After a 5k estimate for a two day overnight hike high we could not afford to pay 1,500 and took him home with the instructions to see his regular vet the next day. I called and told them this whole story including about the dead cat and the front desk woman damn near barked at me that they were booked. She didn’t even acknowledge that a cat we brought in had died because they didn’t have a damn xray machine(she did tell me they still didn’t have one). I tried explaining to her that the animal hospital said he absolutely needed to be seen. She was like I don’t know what to tell you. When I asked if she could recommend someone else she was like go back to the ER. I told her we could not afford that because they’ve already seen them and other than keeping him there isn’t much else they could do. I asked her if she actually didn’t know any other vets to refer us to and she basically quickly ran off a list and rolls us to look them up but the tone was she didn’t want to be bothered. This is a hospital we bring our cats too. A cat that died after a visit close to 300 dollars where all they did was listen to him give us non answers and tell us to bring him back. You would think as an act of kindness and good business sense she would say let me talk to the doctor, or let me call someplace for you. That lady was rude and just wanted to get me off the phone. I will absolutely not be taking any of my cats there in the future and I’m appalled that even if they couldn’t help me they wouldn’t even express a level of concern and compassion that one of their patients is sick.
We are so grateful for the work of the new Rochelle animal hospital! Our rescue, Minerva, has received great care! The staff are always supportive and courteous and they have been there for us many times throughout these difficult couple years! Angela from that office has also really helped us as we prepare to go overseas with our beloved dog! Thank you for everything.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean vet office The Dr is very passionate about his work . He is caring and very nurturing. All of my dogs love coming here this is their safe place .
My dog Java has been a patient of New Rochelle Animal Hospital since I rescued him 8yrs ago. Easy scheduling of appointments, great care from the Doctors and Staff. I recently boarded my dog for the first time and they were amazing! Definitely recommended using them for all your veterinary needs!! Thank you New Rochelle Animal Hospital you guys are the best!!
The staff at the New Rochelle Animal Hospital is outstanding. I trust them to care for my heart, Miley. Scheduling is easy, little to no waiting, and quick turnaround calls on lab results. If there is a negative to report, the office and equipment has not been updated in probably 30+ years. While the care my pet receives is the number one reason for choosing this practice, an office update would do wonders. Is there a VET RESCUE tv show in the works?
We moved from the city a year or so ago and were so pleased to find Dr. Schwartzreich at New Rochelle Animal Hospital. Hes seen our two black and white cats twice, offered solid advice (and commiserated!) about one whos nocturnal, listened closely to my concerns about the others weight gain, and gave them full check-ups with all in mind -- declaring them flourishing!. He also encouraged me to be in touch with any concerns. His team is welcoming and helpful, arranging for travel papers, needed to travel by plane, and accommodating appointment scheduling. The office is also fun to visit, with the resident cat and Dr. S.s roaming dog. I feel fortunate that my girls are under his care.
Noticed a new spot on our 12yr olds snout. Doc examined it and said it was just an age spot. No charge for the quick visit. Much appreciated and peace of mind. Thanks Doc!
I don’t usually write reviews, especially if it’s a bad one, but out of curiosity I came here to check the reviews and see if I was the only one mistreated by the frontdesk receptionist and I am impressed and chocked of how many bad reviews about the rudeness of their staff there is.I didn’t even get the chance to go to the place, as after two calls I gave up as I don’t admit being mistreated like that.Rude, arrogant, careless.Besides all that, the inconsistency just hit me. First call, she told me the 1st appointment is $90, with $50 to hold the appointment and $40 when I get there. Second call, when I wanted to make the appointment, she said 1st time was $100 and $100 to hold the appointment. What? When questioned, she was aggressive and even more rude. Also, it seems like the place is not doing much because there are bad reviews about the frontdesk staff since 2 years ago and it is still happening. They lost a customer and I am going to look for another ver for my pup.
My pet cat Roger was seen on Wednesday 8/10. We were brought to an exam room quickly and then Roger was seen by the doctor and then taken for blood and urine tests. The doctor called us with the results this morning and a plan was put into place. We are very satisfied with the care they provided and will continue to use New Rochelle animal hospital for Roger and our other cats. Very professional and friendly staff and I would recommend them to anyone.
The Staff is friendly, appropriate and welcoming to attend to my cat . I felt welcomed at the place for a first time. The veterinarian was very informative about my pet. Explained to me why she suggest certain things to me. Also, let me know what was going on.
Whether it be for a routine check up for your fur baby or an emergency check for a 3 week old rescue kitten- the entire team is just wonderful! Sam and Maria are pure joys, and so patient. The Doctor (Vet) makes you feel like you and your pet are the only patients he has. Ive been a major helicopter momma with this tiny rescue kitten and the entire team has been nothing but supportive! Highly recommend!
Dr. Paul Schwartzreich is the best! Our dog gets excited every time we go to see him! Ollie is great and always makes our baby feel comforted! He tries to avoid running unneeded tests and his team is great!
My Daisy Mae will go no where else. Dr. Shwartzreich and staff (Maria) are the very best. Having a pet is part of the family. Giving your pet regular consistent care will keep them with you longer and help keep emergencies at bay. Here you will learn how to be a better pet parent while getting the finest empathetic care.
I brought in my 11-week-old kitten who I bottle fed since she was 2 days old. The vet was very nice and seemed to be interested in Hazel. I have been to some vets where they make more of a fuss over how cute and well-behaved the cat is -- its our pet that we love after all and we all like it to be appreciated -- but that doesnt seem to be his style. Still, I like the place and will keep going.
Wonderful vet; took care of my two cats Mishka and Coconut with love. Couldn’t have gone smoother. Thank you and looking forward to future visits!
New Rochelle animal hospital is great. Dr Paul Schwartzreich is a great Dr. I have to say I am very happy I brought my dog (Izzy) there. He is very caring, understanding and compassionate. You can tell he loves animals. I feel very confident recommending him to my family and friends. The staff there is also great. Everyone there is happy to help felt like family. If your looking for a vet this is the best choice you can make if you love animals like I do. Thank you so much Dr Paul
Very nice staff. The doctor was very through with our pet and genuinely concerned. Takes the time to explain all concerns and how to use medicication.
My dog did surgery here and they made sure they communicated with me before and after his surgery. I was nervous since it was his first surgery, but it felt good when they reassured me that it went well. My dog is healthy and happy. They also took the time to informed me on what to do. Thank you to everyone for their hard work and dedication. Definitely recommend.
Parking available for appointments . Doctor and assistant are great and caring.
Was absolutely a horrible experience from the start with the rude receptionist to the late unfocused Doctor on duty. No kindness on arrival or a friendly Welcome. In all my years I have never experienced such rudeness, unorganization, and total lack of care for my pet, EVER. Unclean and sanitized, rusty/outdated equipment and cabinets are old and severely damaged, just simply horrible. Kept in a closed-door exam room for an hour with my poch simple stool, and with no ventilation, while the vet (who came late after lunch) was in and out between other appointments, and after an hour, still No exam. Had to go, had enough after great frustration and disappointment of wasting a half day off of work. Not sure how they even passed state/local inspections. No Star Rating...Totally disgusted with the service.
My first visit today to the practice. i felt the vet cared about leo. leo, my cat, was well behaved. a little nervous, but, well behaved as i believe he felt he was in a safe place.the doc, answered my questions, and i genuinely believe he liked leo. he commented on his manner, and his markings... he is a handsome kitty. i felt comfortable with the vet, and his staff.he assured me i had a fine feline, as leo was a rescue, from a hoard.i thank dr.schwartzreich for his kindness to leo.jacqueline vogel
New Roc Hospital is a great place with excellent personnel. Our late Drago had always received fantastic care, and our puppy Kobe is also treated here whenever he needs help. Highly recommended :)
Dr. Paul is a great Vet who is a wealth of knowledge and has always done right by my pet & I. Unfortunately the staff, specifically the skinny girl at the front desk is extremely rude. On numerous occasions, today being the most recent. I simply went into drop off a stool sample and leave, as I have in the past yet she made me wait for 10 minutes to drop off a sample with my dogs bae on it, which was spelled incorrectly. She also had the nerve to roll her eyes when I said “may I please drop off the sample” as she was going to help someone who walked in after me. If you don’t like animals or hate your job just quit, instead of making it reflect bad on this business, unfortunately I may have to look for another vet, as I will not tolerate her attitude.
I absolutely love this place. The staff (especially Maria) is so nice every time we visit (with 3 dogs and 4 cats, it’s pretty often). She is especially nice to my one very skiddish pup! Both doctors are also great! I recommend them to everyone I know who has pets!
Dr. Schwarzreich is alway fair in presenting the pros and cons of treatments and preventive medicine, ensuring my money is valued. Everyone is always so kind to my pets. I especially love that there are in-house pets who visit me and my pets while we wait. Its such a positive environment.
I am not one to write reviews but I am very disappointed by my husband’s experience here. I am new to the area and was really hopeful this hospital would be a welcoming space as we loved our nyc vet and really took proximity to a well-rated vet into consideration in our move. I am currently out of town and my dog vomited, out of an abundance of caution i told my husband to bring her there. We haven’t visited before so he had tried to call and got no answer so he simply walked down the street since we are so close. We were hoping to be able to be squeezed into the schedule even if he had to wait a long time or leave his number and come back. I understand their schedule was packed but what i can’t understand is how incredibly rude and dismissive the front desk staff was to a stressed dog parent to the point he couldn’t even get a word in to try to explain all the above. First of all, when he tried to explain the situation and his intention, he was cut off and told if he didn’t have an appointment he could not be seen. Understandable. He tried to say he’d be willing to wait for any breaks or possible cancellations, cut off again. He is not a native english speaker and seeing that he was not being understood asked if anyone spoke Spanish. Eyes were rolled and forthe third time he was dismissed in an extremely rude manner. He called me distressed and when I spoke to the staff member, I could also note her very rude exasperated tone and seeing this was going nowhere i simply told my husband to go to the emergency hospital. Again, I’m not leaving this review because we couldn’t be accommodated, I get being busy and having a full schedule, but please just treat people with respect especially when it’s in stressful moments like this. It’s a shame i cannot accurately rate the doctors’ care because the front desk care we received was so horrible and caused more distress to already distressed dog parents. I hope the staff can be retrained or replaced so I can give this place a second chance, but I doubt I will be willing to risk my family being subjected to such treatment again.
New Rochelle Animal hospital has been a wonderful hospital for my 16 year old min pin Ginger.... when nobody else could figure out what was wrong when Ginger had a swelling in her neck after a dental procedure at a different vet, Dr. Schwartzreich had her diagnosed and treated within 2 hours!!! Now post COVID they have set up and EXTRAORDINARY routine for annual care which I hope is here to STAY!! I brought her to the parking lot they took her, called me with their findings, treated her and trimmed her nails without me asking!! All within 15 minutes!! I’m blown away once again and will NEVER go anywhere else. If you want your pet to receive excellent care, then THIS is the place to go!!!! Thank you so much New Rochelle Animal Hospital for all that you do! Happy holidays!
I took my dog here a few times when Dr. Schwartzreich took over. He seems ok i guess the few times i saw him. He kind of tried to guilt me into getting shots and other things i didnt want done even though i had told him i was taking my pet to Vetco for those things since it was more affordable for me. Saying i see so many animals die from all these easily preventable things, something very close to that. I also had one of his baby teeth removed because Dr. Schwartzreich quoted me like $80~ for the whole thing only to have them charge me almost $300 the next day because they forgot anesthesia was part of the procedure.... On top of that they were doing a special 10% or 20% dental procedure. The staff said my dog wasnt eligible for the discount because an extraction isnt a dental procedure and those are several hundred dollars. This was before finding out the real price of the extraction. Even when it suddenly became $300 they still wouldnt provide the discount. Another time was paying for my visit and another vet (i didnt get her name) was coming in and was smiling at my dog then asked me oh is he a rescue? hes beautiful i told her my dog wasnt, i purchased him and she made a really rude remark something like you shouldnt do that then walked away. I only came here one more time when i had an emergency after this and saw Dr. Ali. She was wonderful, answered all questions, has great bedside manner, didnt get upset i wanted certain things done at Vetco, said thats totally fine as long as youre getting him everything take him anywhere. Unfortunately she left the practice soon after and i wont be returning here. My latest interaction with them was today when i called wanting to ask prices for some tests because my dog has a growth. I wanted to bring him here again if the cost was within reason of other places i called or lower. Receptionist asked is your pet a current patient? i told her he hasnt been to the practice in several years and she immediately said we dont give quotes over the phone and hung up the instant i said ok thank you, goodbye This was the ONLY office out of 10 i called that refused to give me prices over the phone…
The vet and office staff are true professionals. I had an emergency with my toy poodle and they fit me in the next Day. Due pulled up in my car, called and they took my dog in immediately although I was 45 mins early. The doc called me ten mins later to discuss the reason for my visit. I didn’t have to wait hours like at other vets offices. My toy poodle had an ear infection and the vet treated it immediately. He also clipped my dogs nails and cleaned dried tears off from under her eyes. I would recommend New Rochelle Animal Hospital to anyone. This is like a pediatricians office for your fur baby. I am so happy with the service and this will be my poodles permanent pediatrician. Once you find the best, you don’t have to search any longer. Thank you New Roc Animal hospital.
Today was my cats first visit at New Rochelle Animal Hospital. Easy check in, short wait time, friendly front desk staff, welcoming medical staff! Awesome first visit!!
Excellent experience at the hospital and kennel. Dr. Schwartzreich is the new veterinarian and he is absolutely wonderful. Was in this week for our dogs annual exam and our 2-year-old dog who is very hyper and nervous did really well. Dr. Schwartzreich and staff took turns comforting him throughout the exam and really explained the shots and new tick prevention options. All the staff was so friendly and accommodating. And the prices were super fair!
I recently adopted a kitten from the New Rochelle Humane Society and opted to use New Rochelle Animal Hospital to get my new feline baby checked out by one of the recommended doctors. Upon arrival into the office, I was greeted by the receptionist who was very nice, and apologized for the temperature being cold (honestly it was fine for me). The office was clean, smelled good and was spacious. She had me fill out paper work and immediately had me situated in a room. Less than 5 minutes later Dr. Paul Schwartzreich came in and greeted me and my new baby. He looked over all the paper work and medical records that the Humane Society gave me. He checked her teeth, her ears and all the other body parts to make sure she was in good health. He was very knowledgeable. You can definitely tell he has been doing veterinary care for a while and actually cares about animals. She got all updated with her shots and vaccines. He told me to bring her back in three weeks which I did. 3 weeks later she saw another doctor...Dr. Olinzock. Dr. O was also super friendly and knowledgeable. He went over everything Dr. Schwartzreich did with my kitten and followed up with some booster vaccines and nail clipping. I have to say both visits were very positive experiences for me and my kitten. New Rochelle Animal Hospital is a very good place to bring your furry loved ones. I have seen two different doctors and have had positive experiences with both. I actually plan on continuing my pets care with New Rochelle Animal Hospital and leaving my old Vet....Sorry guys found a better place. Thank you so much New Rochelle Animal Hospital. We will be seeing you soon!!!
Walked in due to a possible infection with my dog. I can not review the vets as the reception claimed they were both in back with emergencies. But all I can say is the receptionist needs training or needs a new job. She is straight faced, no smile, and very rude. Receptionist are the face of the business. I will not be back as I do not trust a place with such a foul demeanored staff. I do not and will not trust someone like that anywhere near my dog. She is not any nicer over the phone. Was very rude and fast and not polite at all. Sorry but all true
I went to New Rochelle Animal Hospital because my bunny was sick. The staff was very helpful, specially Juan the technician who handled my marshmallow with care and love and helped me through the visit. Nonetheless Dr. Schwartzreich was amazing, very compassionate about what he does. Thank you to Dr. Schwartzreich and his staff for making my visit and my rabbit one of a kind walked out of New Rochelle Animal Hospital content and educated on what was going on with my little marshy. Thank You again to New Rochelle Animal Hospital staff and Dr. Schwartzreich for helping me and my bunny.
The doctors are excellent but NEVER call when they arent there. (Unless they condone this?). I called about a concern with my puppy I was told they have no idea when a doctor will show up tomorrow and they are tired and cant deal with this. Actually told me they had a long day and cant deal with it. Honestly I dont see them behaving in this manner unless the doctors encouraged it. I asked for a doctor to call me next day. What did I just tell you? Go somewhere else. Yonkers. We dont have any doctors and I am tired. I told her if there was a problem to just tell me. She finally said there was an emergency with the doctors but she shouldnt have to share that and she has had enough today. Unreal. Its unfortunate doctors are good but care is only as good as your front desk.
Dr Schwartzreich is extremely knowledgeable, understanding and very caring. I brought my cat Peppa almost a year ago was looking for a caring vet and I found Dr Paul very compassionate he took care of her until I had to let her go. My other cat will be coming here soon for his annual check up. The staff is efficient and friendly I highly recommend. Thanks Dr Paul and staff for the card.
Finally a vet that didnt rush through Darlas exam! Dr. S explained possible causes of Darlas issues and ordered bloodwork to get to the bottom of it. He also took the time to look over some of the food/treats weve been giving her, telling us what to avoid. Thank you to Dr. S, Angela and the entire staff.
I’ve been bringing my dog to the New Rochelle Animal Hospital for a few years. They have always been professional and responsive. I really appreciate their nail clipping service, which is fairly priced and fast. They also don’t try to convince you to have unnecessary procedures like some other vets.
I have to express my appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Schwartzreich for the tremendous care and attention he has given to my dog Emmy over the last several years and in particular the last few weeks. My appreciation as well to Maria and to the entire staff at New Rochelle Animal Hospital for their kindness and patience with me each time I have called and come in for one appointment after another. Everyone at New Rochelle Animal Hospital shows that they understand that every pet is family and in their care, theirs as well. Cant beat that!!
The vets take great care of my pet. I got my dog during COVID and they took him in as a new patient. Their system for pet visits even during this hard time are very systematic and you know whats happening for every step of the way. My puppy broke his foot with in a couple of months of him being home with me and my family and they treated him very well and there was a phone call to tell us exactly what the vet was doing with my puppy, which calmed my nerves (as I am very prone to anxiety... especially with my pet) and the doctors told me absolutely everything i needed to know. THANK YOU!!
Theyre great. Transparent about pricing. Interested in making my dogs life and well being the best that they can be.
Love taking my Mila to the vet!!! They are very professional and greet not only the person coming in but the animals too!!!! The doctors are amazing! And the visit it’s really quick!! I will highly recommend it!!! They are super clean, organized and actually care about you pet’s safety and health. Visits run for 65 dollars, additional fees apply when vaccines are needed.Love this place
Ive taken both my dog and cats there and Ive always had a great experience. The receptionist, Renata is always kind and so is the rest of the staff. Always look forward to visiting and so do my pets!
I really am impressed with this veterinary office. My dog had blood in her stool and when I called, Maria knew that I was nervous and took my pup right in . The Vet was great. He explained everything to me. I could tell he genuinely cared . I will be changing my dogs care to this office.
I was visiting relatives in New Rochelle when my dog became very ill. The New Rochelle Animal Hospital took her right away. My dog ended up having very serious complications — and while we’re back home in NJ, we are continuing treatment with Dr. Schwartzreich, who has called almost daily to check on her, go over test results and discuss the next course of action. This has not been an easy time for me and my family, but we take comfort knowing Dr. Schwartzreich and his team are providing our dog with the most compassionate and thorough care.
Dr. Schwartzreich and his staff and the groomer Jessica are great. They provide great care, give detailed explanations of what they need to do and I have never felt like I was being upsold for care my dog doesnt need.
I took my peekapoo to see Dr. Schwartzreich and Dr. Doherty for focal seizures. They were so professional and so thorough in their exam, also scheduling an abdominal ultrasound with a specialist right away.My little dog is feeling so much better now with all the recommendations they made. It’s been a wonderful experience!
Every time I’ve taken our dog, Marco, to New Rochelle Animal Hospital, I’ve been so happy and impressed with what a well-run office it is, the care is excellent, and the entire staff is efficient, caring and pleasant to deal with. I was especially pleased with their professional and safe way of handling things during COVID, with the convenience of a no-contact visit...it was extremely well handled. I highly recommend this office!
I found New Rochelle Animal Hospital through the Humane Society of New Rochelle after rescuing 7 kittens. I needed to have the kittens spayed and neutered as soon as possible so I gave NRAH a call. They accommodated me very quickly with an appointment and at my appointment were efficient, thorough, and the staff so incredibly genuine. Dr. Paul Schwartzreich and team all work incredibly well together!
Very accommodating when we called regarding a concern with our kitty, Bailey. As always, Dr. Schwartzreich listened to our concerns and took such gentle care in examining Bailey. Tests performed were explained in detail for reasonings. Follow up on results were quick and explained by the Dr. himself in detail and in a manner that we could understand. Could we go to a vet closer to our home? Sure. But that would only happen if Dr. Schwartzreich were there. The care and expertise received by him and his team is well worth the drive. Trust him completely with the care of our crazy furballs and you should too!
If I could give New Rochelle Animal Hospital 10 stars I would! Dr. Schwartzreich is exceptional and the only veterinarian I trust for the care of my pets. He is honest, takes the time to explain everything in detail and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of animals. From the friendly ladies at the front desk, to the knowledgeable staff in the back, New Rochelle Animal Hospital is a wonderful place to take your furry family members and an establishment that I wholeheartedly recommend.
You cant find a more caring, kind and knowledgable Vet or staff than those people working at New Rochelle Animal Hospital.
After having tests performed and finding out that my cat Oreo had serious medical problems, I watched the slow decline. I knew that euthanasia was the best option even though it is difficult to part with a family member. Dr. Schwartzreich handled the procedure very professionally and with gentle sympathy. Although it is never easy, the manner in which this was performed helped me cope with this decision because my cat was treated with the utmost dignity. I thank Dr. Schwartzreich and his staff because I know my pet is now at peace.
Dr. Schwartzreich and the whole team at New Rochelle Animal Hospital are absolutely amazing. We started brining our pup Wiley there back in April 2018 when we lived in New Rochelle. Wiley is a complicated pup with lots of allergies. From day 1, Dr. Schwartzreich showed compassion and a love for animals; with unparalleled knowledge. If Wiley got sick, Dr. Schwartzreich and the team have squeezed Wiley in time and time again; stayed late when he was throwing up uncontrollably, etc. When we moved from New Rochelle; about 30 minutes away; we continued to bring Wiley there as we refuse to go anywhere else. They are fair with pricing and they care which makes a world of difference. When my parents dog could not be diagnosed or helped by four emergency vets, I emailed Dr. Schwartzreich over the weekend and he talked me through it until they brought him up from Long Island on a Monday. They ended up going for exploratory surgery. Dr. Schwartzreich was a third of price and cared more than the 4 vets prior. My parents will now bring their dogs up for all veterinary visits. Weve recommended them to our family and we will continue to recommend them to anyone else who loves their pet and wants them in the best care. Thank you to Dr. Schwartzreich, Maria, and the wonderful team at New Rochelle Animal Hospital; Wiley, Sam, and I love you all!
We take our little doggie to this vet. Very professional, very caring doctor and staff.
New Rochelle Animal Hospital has been a blessing to our two cats - Abbie, who triumphed over diabetes and is enjoying spectacular health, and Puddy, who thrived and looked beautiful to the end of her long (17 year) life. The staff at New Rochelle Animal Hospital have always been compassionate, accommodating and encouraging. We are truly fortunate to have this veterinary practice so close to us, and we remain faithful and grateful to Dr. Schwartzreich for his expertise, his optimism, and his profound understanding of what these little creatures have meant and continue to mean to us.
While the staff was helpful and friendly, our final visit was disappointing. I was quoted a price of $191 over the phone to euthanize our beloved cat. However after receiving the bill it was $267. After inquiring why this would be, I was simply told they must have forgotten the $76 mandatory office visit fee and nothing can be done.
The whole staff is so phenomenal! They really make you feel valued and important when you come in. I trust Dr. Schwartz wholeheartedly to care for my dog.
I called to make an appointment for my pet today,They asked for my information because they couldnt find her in their computer system, the desk lady stated she couldnt be seen.My question is, how do they get patients than? At some point those pets were new patients.Than she simply hanged up. Anyone else experience this before?
Through many years of fur babies and a few Vet offices I can honestly say this place is great. The staff is friendly, the Dr. Down to earth and the prices comparable if not less. I wholeheartedly trust them with my Dutch.
Under new ownership, this facility has really turned itself around. The staff is so caring and absolutely wonderful! Dr. Schwarzreich is passionate about his practice and making sure he and his team provide the very best care for their patients.
Fantastic staff and facilities. Kind and knowledgeable help when you need it, with fair pricing and emergency access if needed. Ive brought 5 different pets here for many years, always consistently high-quality and trustworthy.
Very clean and professional place to take your pet.I brought my Cat for a Neuter, he was all healed up in weekI was highly satisfied.
Always a pleasure coming here. My kitties get all the attention in the world. They are seen quickly and everything is explained well.
Dr. Miller was great. She was very gentle with my cat, listened to my concerns, and thoroughly explained his diagnosis and treatment.
I have nothing but good things to say about this practice. The staff genuinely care about you and your pet. It did cost me a lot of money but the care we received was incredible. Thank you again for everything
I have seen all three vets in the practice and they are all very good. I would see them all to see which one best fits your personality. The office staff and techs are friendly and caring as well. Like all vet care, it is pricey, but not as outrageous as some other local vets.
New Rochelle Anumal Hospital is #1 on my list. There care and concern for your family members (pets). Is above and beyond. It is not the service that they give. But the love for the animals and the concern for the family. They are truthful about your needs and give you true options. They will not make you cut off a arm and a leg just because they can. Of you have not been there. I am not recommending. I am telling you. To go and see for your self.
I was very relieved to be able to be inside the examining room with my pet while the doctor examined her. He was thorough and explained what I wanted to know clearly. One felt that he cared about your animal. Thank you.
Only giving two stars because she said good morning. Call to see if I could come in last minute for emergency situation. As soon as I said ... come in today the woman on the other end said hang on. Comes back 3 mins later laughing yeah, can I help you? I asked if they had availability for today because Im worried about... (cuts me off ) woman:have you been here before? Me: no but... Woman: Monday is my next open spot. Hopefuly the veterinarians are better than the receptionist. I get it, if youre busy and you cant then fine, but I called 2 other places that he heard me out and didnt make me feel its an inconvenience for them to take my call. Im calling worrying about my dog and its unnecessary to treat people that way. Either train your front desk or hire people who care!
Hazel Grace absolutely loves visiting New Rochelleimal Hospital and of course playing with Ollie and Rose. everyone is kind and shows her lots of love and attention especially when she is boarding with them .
Strangest customer service interaction? I called to see if they were accepting new patients and they said yes but theyre booked and I asked indefinitely? and they said they dont know call back in a couple weeks. I asked if this counted for boarding as well since their website advertises boarding services and they said you have to come here for a few years before youre allowed to board ....whhatt?
Receptionist got to go!!!! Rude, uncaring, bad attitude, should not be near animals or everyone else! The rest of the employees go above & beyond. They are compassionate, friendly, caring, kind, truly loves animals and the work that they do with our furry family members but the lady that does the ordering at nr animal hospital has got to go no wonder I couldnt get my cats food that his doctor told me to feed him 4 last 6years that lady said to me no I aint ordering 1 bag for u I said but u guys are cheaper than online cus ship & handling increase my expence she said we Aint orderering and I am the one that dies the ordering. She was rude, all attitude like she a disgruntled employee at nr animal hospital I pay alot of $ over 6 years to have this 1 lady make me consider asking friends for a new VET DOCTORIs so upsetting we need prayers for that receptionist to move on because over the telephone she scares me about them caring for my Max! Other receptionist and staff wonderful but they need get rid of this 1 bad apple cuz I am ready go find new Vet doctor after 6 yrs sharon Maloney I post this review wIll also share on social media 1 bad apple ruin the entire reputation of a great vet hospital in new rochelle ny Dr. Paul ME & Max will Miss Ur Dedication & Devotion To My cat Max 😓🤕😢
Dr. Paul was helpful and understanding. Hes been working with my Oreo now for just about a year. Hes not trying to just take my money, which I appreciate. He is also honest and does care.
Most compassionate, knowledgeable, and experienced staff; from the doctors to front desk!! I have the utmost confidence in bringing my animals here and have had great care for them. Ive been using them for over 7 years and will continue to do so.
Tyga and I met Dr P. about 3 months ago when I noticed he was breathing funny. I didnt have a vet for Tyga so I went to Google and found the Animal Veterinary Associates of New Rochelle. After reading the reviews I felt comfortable enough to call and they ask that I bring Tyga in the next day. When we arrived we didnt wait long before we saw the doctor. Dr. P became extremely concerned regarding his breathing and immediately gave him oxygen and took x-rays to find the problem. He told me that my cat required further care as he may have a heart condition. An Echocardiogram proved my cat had a severe case of Cardio Myopothy. After his diagnosis he lived for about 2 months on medication. Dr. P. followed us every step of the way and even called us to check in on Tyga. He became sicker and I had to let him go to Cat Heaven. We received a call from the doctor and a beautiful card expressing kind thoughts. I would return to the New Rochelle Animal Veterinarian Associates for my next pet. Dr. P, and his crew are the Best.
Amazing prices, wonderful staff. Best care Ive ever had for my pets. I wouldnt take them anywhere else after experiencing this high quality of a service.
I rushed to New Roc’s Animal Hosp. , on a wet / snowy day w 4m/o Maltese ; I found myself truly restored by the service , business mannerism , friendly concerned staff & clean , well scented environment .My fear of wht . I thought wrong w puppy was immediately elevated-by Dr. on site( that I don’t recall his foreign name ) but clearly recall the time taken to check pup fully and time dedicated to eliminating my fears,In so much as to send pup home and give couple days for pup to acclimate to home and feel better then return for shot due.I felt NRAH , a great experience , again , great service / business mannerisms and undivided attention to PET JAXThank You All @ NRAHI stand a very content customer Now and hope to be in your files time to comeRespectfully ; India ENID Garner Mon. 25,’19
They care about your pets, are honest and have a reasonable approach to vet care. E.g. do not push shots that are unneccsary for an indoor cat. Last visit 3 cats general checkup, very reasonable.
Just had a great visit with my Bella and couldn’t have been happier with service and with staff. The Dr was excellent - happy pup and happy me
I had to have one of my pets put to sleep, I held her in my arms until she was gone. The staff was so understanding and made a paw print memorial for me. They are my veterinarian choice for my current pets. And they were my choice for my previous pets.
Love this place. They helped my cat when no one else would. I had to return for the same problem but they didnt charge a whole lot of $$$. They really care about pets. And theyre all very nice.
New Rochelle Animal Hospital has always been a wonderful experience. They care for our animals as though they were their own.
I would recommend New Rochelle Animal Hospital without any hesitation. Doctors and staff are very friendly and compassionate. Didn’t have a long wait and they didn’t break my bank at all. I’ve been to other vets in the past and it was all about the $$$ but it’s not like that here. ❤️🐾❤️
I’m not sure who the receptionist is but she is extremely rude. She doesn’t seem to like to answer questions. Always responds with a nasty tone and doesn’t try to help. Very unprofessional. Front desk, receptionist staff is the face of the office, they make a name for the providers. Other then that the doctors were always very helpful.
First I have to say I hope “JohnCadon”Finds another outlet for his aggressiveBehaviorDr Paul is truly a fantastic, empatheticOne in a million Veteranarian. One you pray you’ll find but rarely do…! He’s got one busy parking lot…. Lots of loving pets drag their humans to NRAH
Coming from Brooklyn for my Levi’s visit. My family in New Rochelle highly recommended and I am fully satisfied with the services they provided. Thanks so much!
Never going here again. I called a day before going in, asking to make an appointment for my 2 cats. The lady on the other end asked if id ever been there before (i havent), phone number, etc. Then she told me what time to get there and how much everything was going to be. The day of, I walked in there at 2pm with both cats and the receptionist told me that they arent taking any cats today and to reschedule. I was so upset at the fact that no one called or made an effort to get in touch with me before hand.
I loved dr.leed. he retired. The new doctors arent bad they took care of my nikki when she had to be put down. Dissapointed with the clay paw print it was barely viable. I thought they would bake the print for us. I almost got scared the paw print wouldve gotten squished by the time we got it home.
Friendly and compassionate staff, they really care about your pets. Plus they have good/fair pricing. I recommend this place to all my friends with pets. :)
I certainly Agree with John! This place affected me as well as I had countless days of trying to rectify the fraudulent charges stemming from your location. You mentioned look at his other reviews and I did, And???Three other reviews, wow and he’s a cyber bully? Are we in 3rd grade? LOL…No…he just speaking the truth, something you have yet to get a grasp of…Sometimes the truth hurts doesn’t it especially when it’s being advertised of your hidden actions. Grow up and stop pointing fingers elsewhere. You should look at your own reviews and act like the title you are trying to imitate. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO CALLED PRACTICE!!!
Dr. Schwartzreich and his staff are amazing, they took very good care of my cat.
They are incredible. Dr Schwartzreich is caring and thorough. Grateful for this place for our dog.
Maria was very helpful and accommodating in a pinch! Caring for our 19 year old dog is a challenge. We are truly grateful!
No wait time. Fast service. Legitimate care and consideration for your fur baby. Loved the entire office staff and felt comfortable since all my questions were answered. Will be here for the long run. Thank you !
I would expect an animal hospital to approach their services with care and compassion. Nope. Awful visit that wasted our time and probably traumatized our cat. Cat owners, find somewhere else
I love this hospital, they are always so friendly and most importantly very helpful when it comes to the health of our furry babies.
I am very satisfied with the service I have been getting from this place for my dog Luke. The staff is very friendly and always tries its best to attend to the needs if your pet.
They took great care of our cat. He received all his vaccinations, boosters and travel medicine. Thank you!
I absolutely love all the Drs and staff. They are compassionate, smart, and truly care about their fur patients.
Amazing care for our fur babies. THE BEST!!!!
Dr. Schwartzreich showed personal concern to my cat, Tiger. The Staff is very professional and appreciate when clients arrive on time.
They are great and helped my puppy get better
Love this office and I trust them completely! Dr. Paul Schwartzreich has incredible bedside manner and the whole office is spotless!
The doctor was extremely calm with my cat. He answered all of my inquiries and handled my cat with gentle care.
It is always wonderful how caring everyone is and how well my dog is taken care of.
Our Little Jerry got his yearly exam and shots today at New Rochelle Animal Hospital. We just love those guys!
Great service. Doctors take there time with pets. We have 4 cats and a large dog and all receive excellent service
Dr. Schwartzreich is a caring and patient individual who loves animals. The staff here are wonderful. Highly recommend.
Great place of professional and friendly work taken my dog for 17 years just got a puppy will go their too
Great service, knowledgeable vet, my 80lb girl allie actually had a good time at the doctors!
Moved here just over a year ago. Was worried about finding a new vet for my senior dog. Doctors are all great.
The appointment went well. Sophia was very relaxed when we returnhome.
They were very caring and Im grateful to them for the love and companion they showed my cat . At a time we needed most.
I took my dog there and I was very pleased with the service they provide. Dr. Paul is kind and gentle.
The facility is excellent. The staff and the doctor is amazing. Always showing lovely concern for the animals. My dog is so nervous going but once he gets there he becomes calm. I recommend this vet 100%.
This Dr is a complete nut job and is very unprofessional! when I went to pick up my Cat he went ballistic after I was like why are you trying to give me someone elses cat? He threw a TEMPER TANTRUM and cursed at me, Tiffany who works for the Humane Society was notified and a woman who witnessed this came up to my car and said WOW I can not believe he did that! you where totally right! NO APOLOGY from him or his office! I Highly recommend Yonkers Animal Hospital Great rates Great Service Great Staff and very clean! YOU ARE A LIAR AND TRUST ME I HAVE PROOF A RECORDING OF YOU< Your staff was good and we had no words I have a personal VET and we get along just fine I would never recommend anyone to your facility and The only reason I went to you was because Tiffany is a Family friend and said to go to you! I would rather pay double to another vet then go to your place again I highly recommend Yonkers Animal Hospital Saw Mill River Rd, and by the way the woman who was standing next to me complained about you as well!! I HAVE PROOF what do you have? You need Therapy Buddy I suggest you get help...
