For Pets Sake Grooming

I brought my dog there, Never again. Look at the nails of the groomer, how can she wear scissors? They would not honor a gift certificate because it is 4 years old without an expiration date. The gift certificate was purchased for $500 and they refused to honor it. Had to take them to court to get the money, waiting for the decision. They are argumentative and not friendly. BEWARE of this business. Grooming not so good

I really appreciated that they took my dog in last minute, she came back smelling good however her haircut is awful. All of it is uneven and they even missed sections of her body. Not sure why her haircut is so choppy but I was not happy about that considering she has a lot of hair. Pricing isn’t bad if they do a good job, i was charged $85 for her and she is a Pomeranian. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if her haircut wasn’t awful it really looks like they cut her with dull shears

Ive been taking my senior Westie (not an easy haircut style) here for two years and they always do a great job. They also show a lot of concern for my pet, pointing out any skin issues he may have so that I am aware. Hes always done within a reasonable time frame and I never have to wait ridiculously long to get an appointment! Thank you!

These are people who truly care about their furry clients and take great pride in what they do. They are kind, patient and knowledgeable. My little guy gives them a hard time but they dont rush through his grooming. This time he had some mats from swimming. They did an outstanding job of dealing with them without hurting him. They are generous with helpful advice in maintaining his coat between services. They are VERY reasonably priced too. I wonttrust my fur baby with just anyone and neither should you which is why I highly recommend you try them

We recently found this place to groom our doggies and were extremely satisfied.The staff is very professional, asks and listens for your requirements and preferences. They are very gentle with the dogs and their pricing is very reasonable. They provide full or refresh grooming and have a scheme where the 5th grooming session is free.It seems to be a family business. We were able to get an appointment within 2 days.Definitely strongly recommend.

When my Hampton comes out from being groomed he is all smiles ! Never an issue here, grooming, nail clipping, everything is done to perfection and the price cant be beat. Super service, accommodating, CLEAN & PROFESSIONAL.Hampton always gets the deep de-sheding treatment and it really gives our vacuum cleaner a break for a few weeks .

I decide to give a comment for the first time going there. I took my two small dogs Pomeranian and mini Poodle, my mini poodle was getting her first hair groom for the first time, I decide to go to this place, very nice people with a lot of required documents to be given. Let them for 2 or 3 hours my poodle was acting strange, the next day I see why. Burn her leg with the shaver machine. My pup still haven’t recovered from that, it slowly curing but with hard bumps inside of her skin. Thank you for being very careful with my dogs!!! It’s a shame a business treated my dogs like that. Never again.I haven’t sent them no more grooms and do myself.

Took my pup for a trim. Upon arrival we were told that he doesnt have all the required shots per their policy. They failed to mention the specific shots they require. Unfortunately the required shots cannot be given to him due to his young age. They knew how old the pup was before we scheduled the appointment. No to mention that during our interaction, a staff member insulted us by saying it was self-explanatory. Waste of our time, and rude personnel. Avoid

What a great experience. I took my senior dog to For Pets Sake today for the first time. He got a great haircut but more importantly he left a very happy dog. No stress at all. I wish I had known about this groomer earlier.

I’ve brought my dog here once before. She’s a newly adopted rescue pit bull who is very anxious due to past abuse (She barks in the presence of other dogs out of fear). I fully disclosed this to the groomer and they seemed to be super understanding! I went back today for a second time and as I walked through the door, I could hear the employees talking in the back. The head groomer instructed her associate to lock up the dogs because “I have a Pitbull coming in at 12, A NASTY ONE”. The associate was surprised to see me standing there, having heard their entire exchange. After this experience, I will not be returning or recommending this groomer to anyone. The lack of professionalism and sensitivity is unacceptable. If that is the way your speak of your furry clients behind closed doors, I can only imagine how you treat them!-Proud Pitbull Parent

Excellent and caring dog groomer. I brought my dog there for the first time last week for standard grooming. I had been going to Petco for years, but always felt a little uneasy after hearing bad stories from other large chains. Anyways, was very happy to have gone to For Pets Sake, great staff, very friendly and good with nervous dogs like mine!

It is obvious that this place really cares for dogs. They are accomodating to your pets needs. Lisa is so sweet and groomed my pup exactly as I asked her. Her mom is a dog trainer and also works the front desk. She is welcoming and ready to answer any question you have. I highly recommend this place

My Puppys first grooming. 5 months old. They did a wonderful job. He looks and smells sooooo yummy!!! Thank you and they were very welcoming!!

I have taken my dogs to other groomers and I like this place the best. They handle the dogs gently and my dogs are not fearful. They give a good time estimate for pick up minimizing the time they are kept.

Epitome of trash. Go somewhere else to get your little pups cut. Refuses to cut a dog bc a former family member quit on them.On a serious note; they cut all the dogs hair the same and then make an excuse that the dog hair was this and that

They always take amazing care of our dog Fluffy (a Maltese mix rescue who can be quite anxious) and he comes out looking great and as calm as he can beWe recently moved to another town in Westchester that’s further away but still come here as we completely trust them with Fluff (and that can be tough to find!)

We love Lisa & her mom ! We always recommend others come here. Our fur baby always comes out looking very handsome. Nothing negative to say.

They do an excellent job on my mother’s little dog! she goes in a hot mess and comes out a pretty little princess. I’ve tried other dog salons but For Pets Sake is the best!

Ive always been pleased with the grooming services here. They are nice to my dog and very accomodating with appointments. Ive been going here for about 3 years.

The employees could use a lesson in professionalism. Openly insulting the animals to other employees is not the way to keep customers (Even if they think the client is not around.) Its incredibly rude and If this is how they talk behind closed doors I can only imagine how they treat the animals. Would not recommend 👎

Great for a dogs day out! My dogs love being pampered and cleaned up! Jennie and daughter Lisa welcome my dogs and me like we are top priority.

Horrible and traumatizing experience for my dog. My dog has cuts and nicks everywhere. There was blood coming out of her back paw and she was acting very unusual and not like herself at all.

This was the only groomer able to handle my traumatized dog after i first adopted him. I am so greatful that they took him as he was a nightmare im sure and bc they were so good with him he is much better going back.

Love these ladies! They make my dogs feel special and they have learned what they need to have a successful time there.

Im not going back to this super horrible place, I took my dog ​​to trim them and they gave me an appointment just to make money as the festivities are approaching, they make appointments to keep making money, oh, many dogs but they shear a dog level to muddle through to earn the $ and not take the time to do the correct cut told me that my dog ​​had very tangled hair and it was not true they say it to do it faster and have the chance to take more dogs.

Really lovely experience where they didn’t keep my dog all day— start to finish was three hours— and she was so happy when I picked her up; it was clear the staff had been super kind to her. Will be back!

Very dissapointed at how careless and dishonest this grommer is. I brought my dog in for the first time and they shaved her hair so short without my permission as well as cut the tips of both of her ears. When I picked her up they did not tell me about the ears. Its been two weeks now and my dog has been in discomfort from the cuts and the irritated butt area from the close razor shave. I regret bringing them here and its a traumatizing place for a dog
