Love this place and trainer! Have taken Puppy classes all the way to Open classes.
Kona (GSD) and I love it! Weve been training with Ester since around October after a different facility turned us away because Kona was too aggressive. Ive never done professional dog training before but Ester definitely knows her stuff and goes above and beyond to help you to have a well trained dog. Highly recommend.
Im very happy with everything theyre doing! They responded to my email promptly, and communication was very clear. The building was tucked back, but we found it pretty easily and the parking lot was definitely big enough. I was worried about the setup, but they had well thought through setup. The dogs from the previous class exit one door while dogs from another wait at another. There was structure to know where to go, with plenty of room for owners and dogs to sit and be separate enough to focus, but still watch and learn from each other. We had enough space even during leash training. The structure of the lessons was great: see it then practice it, and the lesson seemed to be a good length of time.Ester and her assistant are very knowledgeable, read and help us read dog body language well, and theyre empathetic to the emotions of the dogs. You can tell they love their jobs and care about their classs dogs and people. They give great advice and personalized attention when a dog is having a hard time learning something. Theyre very patient and you can tell it pays off because their demo dogs are incredible!I was worried about training an adult rescue dog, but now I know we found a great class to support him. I plan to stick with them for far beyond basic obedience!
Ester Pullano is the best trainer. She is very knowledgeable with different breeds. Class is always fun to attend.
I took my rescue dog Copper to the basic obidience course with Kathy and the difference in him has been night and day from when we first adopted him. Kathy really knows her stuff and the classes are fun and engaging. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Love this place. Both my dog and I are learning so much. Very welcoming and professional
Kathy is amazing!!! Poyer is loving class and learned so much
We had a tremendous experience with Kathy at Niagara K9. Our dog, who couldnt even be across the street from another dog, can now walk in heel calmly in a room filled with other dogs. By the second session, we saw a 180 with our pup.The services are affordable, and are 100% worth it. Working with Kathy and Niagara K9 has given us the knowledge and results we needed to take our dog into public spaces with confidence and control.Cannot recommend highly enough!
I had an out of control dog 13 years ago. With Esters help and training she became a wonderful well behaved family pet. When my new puppy came, I again reached out to the best. I recommend Niagara K9 100%.
Great classes! My dog and I have learned so much! Also, my dog had some issues with food aggression, and after one private class with Kathy, I learned what needed to be done, and immediately had a difference in my dog with food!
Kathy is amazing, she goes above and beyond for you and your dog. We would be lost with out her. We had an extremely unruly pup she is helping to turn him In to a great dog. She takes the time to listen to all your issues and shows you how to correct them and always checks in to see how things are going. You wont go wrong training with her she is a life saver!!!
Kathy is amazing. She has helped my pup and I so much! We did private lessons with her before joining a basic obedience class. Great experience and great prices.
I’ve paid Kathleen to give me for my dog Dewey. I’m disabled and clinically suffer w ptsd, agoraphobia, and depression. Kathy came to my home maybe 4 times and each time she arrived later than the last time. Her tardiness started w 10mins late and gradually became 40mins late as time went by. She was supposed to help me prep my dog w becoming a service animal, but ended up abandoning me and my dog. Literally took my money and disappeared. Her voicemail box is ALWAYS full, (no exaggeration). I text her and she’ll either respond days/a week later or not at all. I contacted this business in hopes to scout out my hiding trainer, and everyone else at the business was baffled w what I was going through with her. My caretaker even went to this business in hopes to scout Kathleen at work maybe, we ended up coming in contact w a “nice” lady Ester. Ester was very concerned w the matters I was dealing w and was frustrated and empathetic over my given situation. She was in disbelief. Mind you before doing so we attempted to contact Kathy of course(futile attempt.) Ester immediately contacted Kathy to have her get in contact w me… Tell me why Kathy tried to gaslight me into feeling bad for contacting Ester? Saying ppl at this business are “getting upset Bc they don’t know who you are and you aren’t their client.” If you’re upset by someone contacting your business to find someone who works for your business then you don’t need a business. Kathy then texted telling me to only contact her number. Her number that she doesn’t text me back w and her voicemail box is always full. My therapist, caretaker, and lawyer experienced that first hand.
Ester is great with the dogs. If she can help with a beagle, she can help any dog. 😁
A blue lives matter flag at your place of business should’ve been my red flag. Really? In this society? You should know what type of clientele they set as a priority and which ones sit at the back burner. HINT: *rubs skin*Ester called me and had the worst hissy fit about my review. I’m fed up to girl I feel you. Saying I was Kathleens client and I’ll never be her client. Said she’s fed up with me calling her phone. I called you ONCE and left ONE voicemail. Why? Because Kathleen(your worker/my “trainer”) voicemail box is always full. Is this not your business? If you’re that tired from a phone call that’s business related then retire.
Unable to reach these people.Don’t think I want to leave my pup
Ester is wonderful our Young Rottweiler is doing fantastic!!
Ester is absolutely amazing!! Looking forward to next set of classes
Excellent place for dog training. trainers are kind and knowledgeable and provide a friendly atmosphere
We have had two dogs trained there
Ill start by saying I know Ester on a personal level, and worked along side her for many years. Shes amazing with animals, and is extremely knowledgeable. I called her up when we adopted an older Pittie with some anxiety issues. Unfortunately, timing didnt line up and I couldnt join her class. HOWEVER, she referred me over to Alex (Rivers Edge Canine), who is just as amazing. Group classes ended up not being suitable, so we were unable to learn at Niagara k9, however if and when the time was right Id definitely come back here for some basic obedience!
Ester Pullano is amazing. Ive been training here for 3+ years in competition obedience and will probably never go anywhere else. If you want someone that knows their stuff this is your trainer.
Ester contacted me later the same day she had Kathy contact me back. Ester seemed as if she was concerned, said she’d contact me a month later for a follow up… She disappeared too. Great learning experience for myself and this has become mentally exhausting for me. Hate the fact that I have to rely on SS for a source of income, and I paid out to a service dog trainer that didn’t feel like doing her job w me. I’m aware Kathy had knee surgery and she’d lie and say she’s not supposed to be working but whenever I’d call this business number they’d say she was just in training a group and is scheduled next week to do it again. Good luck to any colored people that choose to work w Kathy. And if you have a limited source of income, save your money and keep looking… I know this area doesn’t have many service animal trainers but settling and regretting should not be an option.
Esther the trainer is awesome!
Great teachers and fun classes.
They are amazing trainers
First day there and I loved it.
First class, good start.
