We needed help with our energetic pup, and were not so thrilled with our previous trainer. Jake came by for a consultation, and ended up staying for well over an hour to explain the process and evaluate our pup with the entire family present. He was able to place train our dog so we are able to have people over and reclaim our house. Jake is very responsive, helpful and our dog loves him. We look forward to working with Jake in the future to help us help our pup.

Jake’s knowledge and enthusiasm for dog training is so refreshingly inspirational. He is such an absolute joy to work with and has a calming presence when working with animals. I have a Scottish terrier puppy who hates just about everything and yet gets excited to see Jake whenever he comes by for a session. I totally recommend working with Jake. He puts in such a level of care with my dog that I’ve seen huge improvements with his behavior after just a few sessions.

Amazing! My 9 year old service dog suddenly developed a fear at work, and refused to even walk in that direction with me. I utilized all the training techniques I learned when I got him, to no avail.I knew I had to get professional help. Fortunately, I had just received an email from Jake, telling me about his studies and his new business. I knew how good he was with dogs, as he used to walk McGrew. Now, I would find out how great he has become as a trainer.It was during our evaluation that Jake got McGrew to go to work, and walk in the door without panicking... in less than an hour! He reminded me of the timing of praise and rewards. We had to make work fun again. Next, we discussed patterning, and Jake made a few other suggestions.Not only did Jake have to help my dog get over his fear, he had to tailor the training to someone who uses a wheelchair. Its not easy. You have no leverage, no height, and any strength you have is lost through the constant movement of the wheels. You cant lure a dog with a treat, as your hands are constantly in motion. Jake suggested some adaptations to our gear - and now I have a dog who is happy to go back to work!A good trainer can train any dog. A great trainer also trains the handler, and adapts the training to the situation. Jake is a GREAT trainer!

Jake was professional and knowledgeable. He provided us with great tips and even sent us some videos to reinforce the training techniques he demonstrated. He knew how to tackle our issues in a way that made sense for our family. I recommend him highly and I would definitely enlist his help for future issues.

Jake Duel was GREAT, he accomplished training me as well as my dog Ginger. Jake is patient, professional, caring and loved Ginger. Great working with him and we accomplished 100% of the goals I set, plus more.Thanks

After searching for a trainer for my dog I found elite canine training. Jake met me for a consultation and realized I only need a 4 week program. He doesn’t only train the dog but also the dog owner. I highly recommend his services A!!!

Jake was so helpful with some behavioral issues I was having with my dog. He is very knowledgable and provided a plan to target exactly what I wanted to with my pet. Highly recommend !!

The “owner” Jake is super rude when you ask him any questions. He acts super entitled as if he knows everything. He straight up told me he would rather just work with just the dogs instead of their “entitled owners.” DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to deal with the sass of a twenty something who knows nothing about how to run a business. I am trying to save you time here this place is not worth your while.

Jake is an amazing trainer. My dog showed improvement in one lesson. He is very knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone who has a dog.
