Grooming bells is by far the best grooming place to take your pet in Long Island. They are so accommodating when it comes to appointments and scheduling. They offer the best grooming service from wash, to cut, ear cleaning, teeth and MORE! My dogs mood even becomes happier after leaving. I am so thankful to have been able to find this grooming place for my baby. The staff there is welcoming, kind, and very professional. 🤦🏽‍♂️ I had a bad experience with Victor I called him to let him know my dog couldn’t open his eyes .. We immediately called the owner (Victor) to let him know, he took no responsibility even though we dropped my dog oFF with no issues .. He then tried to blame it on my daughter who picked him up .. And also stated she didn’t have no complaints when she picked the dog 🐶 up.. Never called to follow up on any concern we had … I’ve been going to Grooming Bells for years and I WILL never ever go bacK there again .. GOOD LUCK BECAUSE HE WONT TAKE NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOUR DOG ..

Great groomer! Took my Australian shepherd Oakley there, & couldn’t be happier! Victor was so nice, & made sure to ask me how I wanted it every step of the way. I’ve taken Oakley other places before, & each time they’ve messed up his coat. So I’m hesitant when taking him to groomers, but I’m glad I took him here!

Went here for the first time today. They were amazing! So flexible on time since it’s hard to find time in my schedule with work. They were so attentive to my dog and really listened to what I wanted. My normally anxious dog seemed relaxed in their care. I would recommend to everyone!

Victor- the owner constantly changes his prices. First it was $105 then $115 then $125 and then $130. Does that make any sense?????(P.S.A) My dog always comes back scared and with cuts it seems like something is going over there extremely suspicious. Will NEVER bring my dog back to this atrocious place EVER again

If you have a long haired cat- come here! Victor was amazing. My cat got deshedded for the summer, nails cut, ears cleaned, belly shaved- AND came back super happy!!! That’s all that matters. Painless and beautiful. Highly recommend this place. True professionals. Victor knows how to handle cats with care. 100/5 stars

Big Ang is a bit of a difficult dog with groomers, but that didnt bother Victor. She responded well to him, and he did a great job. I will definitely bring her back! Thank you!

Had the most pleasant experience! Victor accommodated me on such short notice. my short haired dogs aren’t shedding( which beforehand was a huge problem) and they smell wonderful not to mention they are now super soft!! They were put together in a play room and this made the transition from mom to groomer so easy and exciting for them! You’ll be crazy not to take them to groomingbells 😊

I had been taking my pup to grooming bells for quite sometime and typically loved the results of his haircut but one time I picked him up and by the time I got him I realized he could not open his eyes at all ! I called victor the owner immediately to ask him if there was anything that took place during his appointment that could’ve caused this and even asked for video footage because I was so upset. He said he would provide to me but never did. I had to take my pup to the emergency vet that day and they informed that who ever groomed him got soap in his eyes causing an ulcer in both eye balls. I had a $450 vet bill that day and it was very upsetting. I call victor the next day to let him know I had to come out of pocket for his mistake. He then told me not to worry about it and to let him know what the price of my vet bill was and we could work something out, he offered free grooming sessions equaling up to the amount that I had to spend on his vet bill. Because I had it because I never had an issue with them before I agreed. Fast forward to when I was supposed to receive these grooming sessions they told me that they don’t want to be bothered with my dog because that don’t want any issues. 0 stars for poor customer service. I understand mistakes happen so even thou I was upset that I had to go out of my way to take my dog to the vet because of them I liked them because I had already been going to them sometime no issues. Never once offered to reimburse me, and also claimed that it was their fault when I was getting ready to bring him there again. What a shame.

Groomingbells is Amazing!!! Victor is literally THE dog whisperer!!!! I have a Yorkie that is 8 lbs of terror. He is aggressive towards anyone he doesn’t know. He has literally been banned from every groomer in my town, to the point they don’t even charge me, they just call and tell me to come get my dog. I was so embarrassed and ashamed that he sadly was a knotted stinky mess. Well… Victor achieved the unimaginable…. A cute cut, all the extras, he smelled great and even had a cute festive bow. But the thing that left me shocked, speechless, delighted was that Victor actually said my dog is a great dog!!!’ He said all my Yorkie needed was TLC and love. I am still in disbelief! He even showed me the videos from the process. And to top it off he took us same day on a Friday afternoon. I am just so grateful!!!! Thank you Groomingbells!!!!

My puppy is six months old and went to the groomer for the first time today. Groomingbells is close by to my house and had great reviews so I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I came- I had a great experience from start to finish! Victor is so kind and is very knowledgeable. He explained the kind of grooming my dog needs, and how often. He has a great member program that is extremely beneficial to the customer! I ran about a half hour late to pick up my dog and Victor didn’t seem to mind at all. When I got there, my dog was hanging out in the front of the store in a gated section where there were blankets, towels, and a chair for the pups to lounge on. He looked relaxed and comfortable. I can’t wait to continue to bring my puppy here! Thank you to Victor and the crew!

Have a golden doodle. Been to many groomers before but victor and his staff know these breeds better than anyone. He always does such a great job.

I have been bringing both of my dogs to Groomingbells for just about three years. Victor is a true professional and keeps a very clean showroom and grooming room. My 2 dogs are very comfortable there and come out looking like show dogs. Thank you groomingbells and Victor for always taking such good care of my dogs. I would not use any other groomer, and I would recommend Groomingbells to anyone who wants there pet to look adorable.

I take my cat here often to be groomed because she can get matted and if we do not keep up with her long coat. Victor never disappoints! Each time my cat comes back beautifully clean cut and smelling amazing. I swear she struts around at home after like she knows she looks good! Victor is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I trust that my pet is in good care when I send her. I highly recommend!

Victor and his staff are professional AND amazing with my four dogs. He does such a beautiful job grooming my dogs. I brought my dogs to Groomingbells years ago and then it was sold to Victor. Victor was so nice, understanding and helpful in the beginning. I moved away so it was probably two years until I brought my Yorky in a few months ago. I walked in and was expecting the old Victor but I found him to be very rushed, agitated and unprofessional. I am not sure what happened or who groomed my boy but they cut so close to the skin that he had red bumps and horrible rashes which made his allergies so much worse! I took him to the vet to see what I can do to give him some relief and the vet couldn’t believe how his skin looked after this groom. Honestly, it was raw and blazing red! I will never trust him with my animals again. My dog was fine until I picked him up! It’s three months and he’s still not the same. Take my advice, bring your animals somewhere else! Victor, you should be ashamed of yourself!

Today I took my 15 month old dog Bindi ( a pit bull mix rescue) to Groomingbells for her first bath. I have tried to give her baths at home but she was always afraid of the water. I was so impressed with Victor and his staff. I was nervous leaving her there but they made me feel so comfortable. They took their time and explained exactly what their procedure was. Bindi tends to be a little skittish but Victor said she did great and I am looking forward to next time because she looks and smells so good! I highly recommend Groomingbells 😊

This was the best experience I’ve had with a groomer! Today was my first time coming and it’s apparent that Victor genuinely cares about every dog that walks through the door. He honors the type of dog he’s grooming too. I have a little papillon and he did a lovely job with her ears. If you want to support a local family business, as we all should, definitely come here! My 6 month Malshipoo Suga Baby’s 1st grooming ever was with Victor. We were so nervous because she did not like being brushed washed and was so tiny and delicate she was only about 4lbs. Victor from the second we called and made an appointment made us feel so comfortable less nervous and explained his love and passion for what he does and even let us watch in the camera before we left as he cleaned her ears. I have never seen my baby so calm as she was with him while he did her ears. He is gentle patient and genuinely care about your dog and it’s experience with him. She was a little messy when we brought her there. He gave her back she was happy, all cleaned from teeth, ears, face nails cut. She looked so cute I’ve struggled trying to even attempt to put any bow in her hair and I told him understand if he can’t because she will not allow it. Well not a problem for Victor he even got a bow in her hair. It was a great experience! Can’t wait for the next time!! Thank you so much for taking good care of my pup and making her look so adorable! I Highly highly recommend them for grooming!!

I have been taking Ari to groomingbells and victor is absolutely amazing. She’s not good in crates or being away from me for a long time so he always makes sure he calls me so that I can come pick her up as soon as she’s ready. He’s the only groomer I trust with my baby and honestly could give them 10 stars if I could. Recently moved about an hour away & I still take the drive to get her to him. I brought my cat to Victor this weekend. Romeo, my cat, was very matted! I wanted Victor to do the lion cut. He did an awesome job! He carefully removed all Romeos matted fur. He looks great and relieved now. Its very hard to find a person that we can trust that grooms cats and now Im so glad I found Victor. I strongly recommend him for cat grooming too!Thanks for the awesome job, Victor!

Victor the owner, is so caring for our dog and does a very through job , teeth,nails, ears everything and can give great advice on how to care for in between. , his prices are arent the lowest, but his work is worth it.He also doesnt try and rip you off selling you the wrong stuff. I recently asked him about what brush on his display would be best for me to use on my dog in between visits , and he told me that no of his in stock brushes were for my dogs coat and went to the grooming area to get andshow me the proper tool ( a furminator) to get elsewhere rather than just sell me the wrong tool.Had my dog groomed last weekend and she still looks fresh for Easter.

So happy with my experience at Groomingbells. This was the first time for my little 5 month Mini Aussiedoodle and Victor could not have been any better. When I came in, he gave me the whole run down between what he does to your pet, to pricing, to even offering packages that is exclusive to your fur baby. 10/10 would recommend.

Been using Victor for just under a year for our 2 dogs. Seemingly good deal with his “pay every other plan”. Don’t be fooled. He either does not know how or does not want to put in the time to brush the dogs- so he states that they are matted and shaves them completely.

We’ve been taking our dog to Victor for 8 years and each time he’s been fantastic with our dog Wilson who could be a challenge at times. After several months of quarantine we finally got wilson back to Groomingbells and couldn’t be happier. Victor took extra precaution to ensure health and safety measures were taken and I appreciated that. Thanks Victor to you and the team at Groomingbells!

This is our first time at the awesome pet grooming facility. Kindness and patience are only a couple of the attributes.My 1 year old Maltese has never been to an outside groomer. We had a groomer come to our home.What a difference !!!!!!We have found our new grooming home. THANK YOU ❤️

Victor the owner is awful! He butchered my puppy, buzz cut with all 4 paws left long. I asked him to cut my dog a specific way and he did the opposite. THEY SHOULD HAVE CONTACTED ME and made me aware instead of bullying him and making him get that horrible cut. They took all his beautiful curls buzzed them to the skin and my dog may never be able to take a grooming again. He cut the blade to close to my puppys skin leaving him with razor bumps. This place should not be allowed to touch any animal.Shame on them, for charging me $100 for this abusive experience, will NEVER take them to Groomingbells. Groomers were dismissive and blamed the dog... DO NOT get your pets groomed there... they abuse them. The establishment is not up to health standards. They leave dog case in cage for hours. He had my dog for four hours there and didnt call me to update me. Your pets are not in good care here. Groomers are all incompetent and inexperienced!!!!The owner didnt even apologize to me. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!

We took our poodle Maltese to Victor for the first time yesterday. As soon as he saw our dog he lied and said be was matted so he charges an extra 30 dollars. We said we know hes not matted your trying to get us for extra already as new customers. He did end up doing his grooming. Be cut off pretty much all of his hair almost to the skin even on his tail. My dog now has a dark Caesar. 1st and last time customer.

Being a new dog owner, I was extremely nervous. The second I walked through the door Victor made my nerves go away. He was absolutely wonderful with my dog.. she looked beautiful. Highly recommend Victor and his staff.

My Lucy is very happy with victor and his staff. Normally she hates the groomer and gives me a hard time getting her into the store, but not at Groomingbells! Pricey but worthy it!! They know how to groom dogs. Most places I go to, whenever my dog is knotted they would just shave off all her fur so she’d look like a rat. But at groomingbells they take their time and make her look so beautiful! She looks like a professional dog at a dog show! Great place and I’m definitely coming back!

What a pleasant experience for my cat Sierra to get her nails trimmed. I also was able to watch it on the TV screen. Victor and the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. It’s very hard to find anyone even to trim a cats nails. I will be back there.Christine

Way too expensive for a 8lb poodle. They quoted me $75 dollars on the phone and when I got there they told me she had some knots, so it’s possible that I will be charged $20-$50 more! I’m like are you kidding?? I’ve never been charged extra for my dog having mats ever. They are money hungry at this establishment. They ended up charging me $95 and completely shaved my dog..so it’s not like you took your time to cut the mats out and keep her length, so why the up charge? you completely shaved her down. I wanted to give a small business a chance, but I would’ve been better off taking her to Petco up the street.

My family had to evacuate due to Hurricane Florence (summer 2018). A wonderful friend took us and our 4 dogs in. They managed to get a bath before we left but not a grooming and they were in desperate need of one. Not to mention the last spot we let them out before arriving at my friends, as they were going potty, the sprinklers went off. So we were a ragtag band of 2 exhausted adult, a cranky 10 yr old, and 4 wet dogs who were in desperate need of attention.Thats when I called Victor of Groomingbelles. He was so understanding of our situation. He managed to fit all of us in and even discovered a problem with one of my girls paw I had not notices. Victor also told me what to look for in a good groomer for in the future.I STRONGLY and HIGHLY recommend Groomingbelles. They truly care for your furbaby as it was their own. I cried at their willingness to help a family of strangers. It is TRUE, they look after your babies as if they were their own and you become family. If you want your pup to have THE best care and attention to detail in their grooming, then look no where else. Some complain about the price, but you cant put a price on a happy pup, that was excellently cared for. My group of 4 came back happy and looking outstanding. No signs of stress like with other groomers.Again I HIGHLY recommend Victor of Groomingbelles, he loves what he does and you can see it in the eyes of your furbaby! Eternally grateful to you! Wish we lived closer so you would be our groomer..

Victor is always willing to take you dog no matter busy or not him and his staff are great at what they do and would highly recommend them. My zoey loves to go and get groomed , which at past groomers never liked . And victors prices are always fair

A few days ago I took my 15 year old pitbull Lulu to their family owned shop. She has always been super aggressive towards people who aren’t in my house. She has cataracts in both eyes so she uses her nose extremely well. I took her muzzled just in case but she needed a deep cleaning and her nails cut. When I say, number 1 how deeply the owner cared about my dog and making sure she was comfortable the whole time and number two how she came out a new dog. The owner asked me if he could take the muzzle off because.of how much he cared about her. He told me “that restraint is probably scaring her more” and i totally agreed. With me being on the same page he did and he carried my pitbull, no muzzle on out to me. She smelt and looked freaking amazing and there are no words to describe the amount of relief I had when I found such a thoughtful family owned business!! 10/10 RECOMMEND

Victor the owner is a good talker. My dog was cleaned pretty well but the hair cut was horrible. There where so many spots missed and not cut. He told me they only trim with scissors and it you trim some spots the will never grow back the same and always be un even. Well my dog left really un even so why not trim it. It was just alot of bs and it was way over priced. I normally pay $50 to $60 tops at any other groomer and this place charged me $95 for a incomplete job.

I’m not one to give a bad review but I’m so upset with the way the situation was handled i was talked to like i was a crazy personMy cat went in to get groomed this Wednesday with no fleas and came home with fleas and he’s a indoor cat only!!! I called Groomingbells to notify them and he was very rude and told me that there is no way it came from he’s place. He asked if i moved really!!! He was rude and told me that i could bring my cat back in for a flea bath and it would be $45 really i just spent $140 on my Cat to get groomed and he comes home with fleas ooh and he also said i have to bring him in today because he’s very busy tomorrow and if not he can only take him Monday then! I’m sorry but how dare you my cat got fleas from ur place and you want me to pay more money to remove them!!DON’T BRING YOUR PET THERE they will get fleas or a chance to get fleas and won’t help after i wish i took pictures!!!

We took our long hair chihuahua to Groomingbells today and they did a great job. They were able to take him an hour after we called and they were very knowledgable and super gentle with our dog!

Its expected to be a dog groomer and dogsitter while the doggy is in your car. We appreciate the work you do victor but dont complain too much if the dog gives you hard time time. Overall we are average in satisfaction sir

Amazing place!!! The groomer was great. He explained the whole grooming process to us. I would never go anywhere else. My puppy came out looking great and was extremely happy.

I brought my cat here for a bath and hair cut and I was not pleased with the job. His cut was very uneven in places, especially the top of his legs where the cut ended. He came back with three tiny matts one in ear fur and one on his neck. I was told he behaved very well so it cant be blamed on him being squirmy. With the high price of $130 I expected a much better job and matts should have been checked for and removed. I emailed them explaining in detail why I was not pleased to give them a chance to rectify it but no one got back to me. I hate to leave negative reviews but I was extremely disappointed after paying so much money for an uneven cut.

He did an amazing job he was very patient and very careful with my little girl Luna she is a rescue dog he treated my pup like it was his own he did a marvelous job I’m so happy with his professionalism and compassion in his job I would recommend anyone else to come and get their fur baby groomed in this wonderful place.

I was originally told it would cost between $90-$110 per dog but then when I went to pick them up, he charged $150 per dog!!! And, he said he was giving them a puppy cut which, apparently, just means hes going to shave your dog.

I recently had my dog there to be groomed. He informed me that my dog needed to be shaved due to being matted and charged me $195.00. We usually NY Puppy club who charges $100.00 less for the same hair cut. We get our dog shaved every summer. Also, he missed an entire section on the back of her legs. I never post reviews but I feel taken advantage of and will never use this groomer again.

I decided to give Groomingbells a try, and it turned out to be a great decision. Due to poor maintenance by my previous groomer, it looked like he would probably have to be shaved down to the skin. Victor and his team worked really hard for hours to make sure that didnt happen. When I picked my dog up I was pleasantly surprised. He looked great! This place is extremely professional. Skeptical about most places in how well theyd treat my furry friend, I gave this place a shot and they treated my dog well. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about his breed and type of fur cut to give him. They did an amazing job grooming him. My furry friend was super happy himself. Definitely recommended they will take great care of your furry friends.
