This grooming location continently just opened up by me last week. I brought my large female German Shepard for a long overdue grooming. The staff is really friendly and experienced. I spoke with the owner and found out she has over 20 years of professional experience working with all types of animals. The location is clean, spacious and organized. Upon dropping my dog off, the owner took my contact info and promised to call me when my dog was ready for pick up. I received a call about an hour later and headed back to the grooming shop. My dog “Chloe” looked and smelled fantastic! The pricing was reasonable for an 85 pound dog with a lot of hair. My first experience here was great and I will definitely come back. I’ve tried to wash the dog myself and it was a messy disaster! I’ll happily pay a professional to do it.Mike GOceanside, NY

Love this place! Danielle is so nice, accommodating and a terrific groomer. She really listens to how I want my labradoodle cut. I appreciate that she and her father keep the front door locked at all times. I’m always worried about dogs god forbid escaping. Danielle’s pricing is also very fair. I’m so happy she’s in the neighborhood. I’m not going anywhere else.

We love Danielle and Robert. They always care so much for our dog Max. He always enjoys his time with them and he never liked going to the groomers before! Danielle is truly an animal lover and will care for your pet as it they are her own. He always looks and smells amazing when she is done with him. Call far in advance, because word has gotten out and they are super busy.

They did a great job with my Bichon Frise. We like his hair cut a particular way and she did exactly as we wanted. We will deffinitly be back

We used the groomers edge for the first time today and I couldn’t be happier. I have a nervous dog so it’s usually a struggle to get her nails cut and eats cleaned. They did an amazing job! I also love how it’s a family run business, I love supporting small businesses. They are also very affordable. definitely found my new grooming spot for my pup.

WARNING!!!! Do not dare use this groomer!!!! If I could give a zero star rating I would. After waiting on a 2 month waiting list for an appointment, I finally got my dog in to get groomed. My dog was perfectly healthy before going to this groomer. He never leaves the house, and is not around any other dogs ever. He goes to the bathroom on wee wee pads and is not even taken outside for walks. Immediately after returning from the Groomer’s Edge, my dog was scratching his ear uncontrollably. He also had an eye condition which looked to me like conjunctivitis. I went to my vet immediately, only to find out that he not only had an ear infection but a severe reaction to whatever this woman (the owner) did to his eye. He had swelling, redness all around his eye, it was hot to touch, and ooze was coming out!! I returned to my vet for a recheck only to find out that the ear infection was not yet cleared and was told that I had to see a veterinary ophthalmologist, as he could not treat my dog’s newly acquired eye condition. 2 visits to my vet and 2 (so far) to the ophthalmologist at the ER and I found out that this incompetent fraud created an ulcer in my dog’s eye!!! So far I have spent upwards of $1500 on medical visits and medicines for my dog - on top of paying and tipping this hack! not to mention the stress it caused my dog and me!!! Eventually with more medicine, his ear infection went away. However, I don’t foresee this eye problem going away anytime soon and neither does the ophthalmologist. I was told by this doctor that this groomer clearly uses dirty tools on dogs. How disgusting!!!🤮 How dare you do this to my dog! Her license should be revoked and her store should be shut down immediately! What a cruel, heartless individual to take advantage of dogs and paying customers in this capacity. Everyone should be aware to steer clear of her business!!!! I wouldn’t want any other poor animals to suffer the way my dog is suffering!

As a first time dog owner I was very anxious about my shy rescue dogs first grooming . I can’t say enough how incredible, caring and knowledgeable Danielle is. They were busy but she took the time to listen and made all my concerns feel heard . I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciated her insights and caring . I would recommend this place to anyone ! Side note they were booked so plan accordingly.

We love The Groomers Edge! They gave our pitbull mix Pepper the royal treatment. She came home happy, pampered, and smelling lovely. The price was very reasonable. We are so sad we didnt discover this place sooner, as were moving out of state. But well definitely be back whenever we visit NY. Thanks so much!

I have been to almost every groomer from Long Beach to Oceanside and have used the vans that come to your home. I LOVE this place! They do a great job and my dogs small AMAZING for more than a day. Whatever she uses smells good and LASTS!

The Best! Hands down Danielle is the best Dog Barber on the planet Earth. The shop is always clean and Danielle and her father are amazing. Super friendly and caring.
