Barkz is an amazing doggie and kitty daycare and boarding facility. I have been a client for 2 years and have never had anything but praise to offer regarding Barkz. The owner is outstanding and her staff is stellar. The value is incredible given the high quality of the service, the convenient location. Grooming is also the best I have had for my extremely shed prone dog. She always looks and smells phenomenal after a Barkz makeover. You owe it to your dogs and cats to choose Barkz!

Not recommended for special needs dogs, like rescue pups with a severe anxiety disorder. Unreliable, our reservation was cancelled 1 week before our vacation when we had booked several months prior. The owner has been aware of the dogs condition for multiple years and still allowed the reservation to be made. She offered accommodations for him, by means of single play and outings but still cancelled last minute after forcing us to bring him to daycare that we didnt need then charging us for it. We were advised by the owner she would be present for the daycare day and then she was not there at all. I had to ask for the result of the unnecessary daycare from the employee again 1 week before our vacation. The owner refused to call me. When she did call she lied about all previous conversations, blaming me and the dog for his apprehension with anxiety being there. He has stayed there in the past so this was completely unexpected and a terrible way of managing the situation. We were left without boarding for a vacation that had been booked and paid for when it was too late to change our booking or cancel. We did find a great boarding facility, the family owners were very accommodating and took great care of our aging, anxious, rescue baby.I gave one star because our last experience was awful however I do think Barkz is good to the people who use them daily and on a consistent basis but definitely not for people who only need boarding very infrequently.

The staff is amazing and so helpful. They really put us at ease.We needed to board a relatives dogs for a few weeks due to a family emergency. Her rowdy pups usually stay here during any out of town trips and really enjoy it.We appreciate the service and are very thankful because we know they are in good hands and will be well taken care of during this time.

This establishment helped our dog Banjo become a incredible dog. If we say the word daycare in our house he jumps with glee.Most importantly they love dogs here. Your dogs are safe and loved when they come.Thank you Jenna for always taking good care of our dog.

I love bringing my dog here! The staff is so friendly and LOVES dogs!! I started bringing my dog there for puppy day care weekly, and it has helped him open up socially with both people and other dogs. Thank you barkz for keeping my puppy safe and happy!

This is an amazing kennel. Our dogs were so happy when we got there after being there three days that they didnt want to leave.I cant say enough about the quality of care our days received.And the cost was so reasonable that I ask if they had changed me correctly. This is the only place to be kennel you dogs.We will definitely use there services in the future.I cant give them enough kudos.

This place cancelled our dogs boarding 6 days before our scheduled time. This had been booked for months. Then we get a phone call stating our dog needs a pre visit before they will allow him to stay with them. Then they say they cant do it. 6 days before. Sounds like they needed the spot for someone else.

The Staff are absolutely amazing! They love your fur baby just as much as you do! They take the time to get to know you and your fur baby, and answer all of your questions! Great atmosphere, and my pup and I will be there regularly now.

New client..I rarely do reviews but felt this was worthy..I called at the last minute to sneak in for a nail clipping for my dog... they were AWESOME!! So accommodating and did a fantastic job! We were in and out quickly..price was great.. and my pup was smiling for the rest of the night😁 great experience and will DEFINITELY go back for more services for both my kittie(s) and pup!! Our puppy willow has attended Barkz on multiple occasions for daycare. She has also gotten groomed a couple times. Everyone is sweet and accommodating and I definitely feel safe having her there.

Barkz is a wonderful, clean facility staffed by lovely people who take exceptional care of my grumpy old boy!

Barkz was able to accomodate my current situation and take on 2 dogs for boarding purposes. Their employee Ashley ensured me these 2 wild dogs would be treated wonderful and given plenty of play time. Barkz has put my mind at ease as far as their concern I’m beyond grateful! I HIGHLY recommend Barkz! ❤️

We boarded our jack russell, Bernie, here for several days while out of town. They took great care of him and didnt complain when we didnt get back into town to pick him up on the original night we had planned. Bernie is a particular dog and I was worried about him but he did great - we will definitely use them again!

My dog had been boared numeroustimes else where with no issues . but Apparently according to the lady that works at Barks. whom Im assuming is not an actual qualified Vet told my husband and I that our dog had a neurological problem as he tried to attack another dog through his cage . Now we explained numerous times that our dog was a rescue and had been attacked by a dog previously and now he hates all.other dogs.so when they called us and informed us he had an episode apparently he had tried to get at another dog which they walked in front of my dogs cage.. resulting on my dog being hurt from a nail being broken off and cut between his toes and a bruised mouth. We returned from vacation to get him early because of this.All we heard from them is we did nothing wrong! we are professional.. yet my dog got hurt and then being told he had a neurological problem... . And then she had the nerve to say dont get defensive when our dog got hurt in their care. NEVER taking him there again. Not even an apology.

I cannot say again enough good about this place it is so awesome and they are just so helpful and they do such a wonderful job I just love Barkz

Love this place. My Benny gets so excited when its his time for him to go and spend the day. A great place to board or take your animal for daycare.

The staff at Barkz are always kind and sincere. When I have to board my pups, I know they are in good hands. They love to visit!

Theyre awesome and they treat the dogs so well and my husky comes home and all she does is sleep because she played so much, which is awesome!

Got my Great Pyrenees in late for the holiday, they were fantastic! I am very picky about where I kennel my dogs but they far exceeded my expectations!

This place is the best and only place to take your dogs (and cats)! The staff is so friendly and really have a love for animals. If I tell my dog he is going to daycare he will literally follow me around the house until we get into the car, and then races to the door at Barkz when we arrive. His actions speak the loudest to me! If he were not happy, he would show me. I only trust Barkz with my fur babies.

My dogs are happy to go here, so that makes me happy. The employees are even taking the time to get my dogs socialized with the other dogs at daycare.

I have two GSDs and I took my dogs there for the day. After two hours they said that one of my dogs is still barking. They also said that I should try another boarding service. I went there and there was no barking from any of the dogs. And they also said that my two dogs did well out in the yard. I had reservations for my two dogs to use their boarding service. Now I had to cancel my getaway with my husband on our anniversary. I gave them one star just because there wasnt a negative score available

I can’t say enough good things. I’ve sent my dog to day care here for the past few months. I’m a college student nearby and she lives with me on campus. Days when I have a lot of school work, Barkz is a savior. Booking is so easy, all you need to do is text and drop off is even easier! It’s also super affordable (I’m a college student!). The best part is seeing all the pictures from the day on their facebook. I love seeing how much fun the dogs had all day. They go out of their way on special occasions. I would highly recommend!😊

Im crying as I write this 😭 MY POOR BABIES!!! I took them to Barkz in Olean, NY yesterday to get groomed. I walked in with Newfoundlands and came out with poodles 😭 these guys are absolutely horrible! I had no concern after seeing they had great reviews but guys, this is the truth! My dogs have never been shaved in their entire life! AND NEVER NEEDED SHAVED NEWFOUNDLANDS SHOULDNT BE SHAVED!!! They have a protective undercoat that is very important for their skin and these guys just shaved it right off 😭 do you guys even know what an undercoat is?! Both Bob and I gave them strict orders to not shave them. Then they called me after their hour lunch break saying some mats were too bad to get out and they had to shave them. So I explained to them yes, its okay to shave behind their legs instead of stressing them out because they said Daisys skin was beat red from pulling on it (so why the hell did you wait this long to tell me? Why would you not have called sooner??? Before putting my dog in that much pain?!? As a dog lover Why would YOU put a dog through that much stress and pain?!?!?) So I told them its okay to shave behind their legs in the spots that were hard to get out. Whatever. So then they call to tell me they are done with fear in their voices and Im scared to death to go pick them up. THEY WOULDNT LET ME SEE MY DOGS UNTIL I PAID $200! so as Im paying, the truth comes out. The receptionist told me they were way over booked that day and kept having to switch tables for all the dogs and she just came in at 4 knowing how chaotic its been in there. So no, they were probably trying to rush to get the mats out and couldnt because that stuff takes time (which is why I pay $200), or made a mistake that they couldnt fix without shaving them completely! Not to mention they are patchy all over with long hairs everywhere and nicked them in spots 😭 Keep in mind, we got our dogs groomed 2 months ago, WE KNOW THEY WERENT THAT MATTED! And there werent mats on the rest of their body?! So wheres their hair?!?!? Daisy will be 8 years old a month from today and she has never been shaved nor needed to be shaved and shes been worse before than what she just was. They refuse to give us a refund. I will never step foot in this place again and I am just hoping that this post saves another dog who has an important undercoat to not step foot in there either. I am crying for my poor babies 😭😭😭 this was extremely unprofessional and unnecessary!!!! I dont even know what to do right now 😭 MY POOR BABIES 😭😭😭😭 Im not sure how to post pictures on this but they will be on their Facebook page!
