A+ ...This is an amazing store! All employees are professional, knowledgeable and super friendly to my dog and I. Ive been taking my westie for nail trims and the workers in the back have been wonderful with him. Im definitely a return customer.

The grooming team did a great job making me feel comfortable and styling my slightly matted goldendoodle. I was very pleased with their work and kind attention to detail!

I absolutely love them. All off the people that work there are great. They were even very kind and understanding when I had my 1 1/2 or 2 year old BullBoxer Pit in there to get his Rabies shot.

I had the opportunity to take a friends dog in for grooming as her regular groomer was out of town. The grooming staff was excellent! I was able to watch the nail trimming, some cutting of hair, and trimming the hair on the feet. All was done with the utmost of care. The whole procedure was a bit longer than expected as it was a BUSY day, but we were thrilled with the outcome. The dog was cleaned, trimmed, and happy. Win, win, win!

Staff is always welcoming and nice. Very helpful as well.They were very caring to my dog when they bathed him.I always go in and get crickets for my bearded dragon.I love the environment here and have no desire to go anywhere else.

This was our first time and the experience was perfect. We got the dog wash lunch card. The next day there would have been a sale in it and they gave us the discount before the sale started. Everything we needed was there to wash the dog and we even let her pick out a toy on our way out.

Never ever again I will take my dog to the groomer. First time I took him there they did so so . So my husband take him for the second time and oh boy .it not even look like my dog . They left him looking like a rat 🐀.

Jackie in grooming is excellent with my dog Cheify. She is patient and kind to him and he loves her. He has gotten so much better getting his nails cut and ears cleaned because of jackie.

Olivia is a wonderful groomer. Friendly informative and efficient. My dogs coat is soft, shiny, and smells great. His nails are all trimed short and smooth . Great job !!!

5 star experience for me and my dogs!I own two huskies and they have so much hair. The experts at our Olean location did such an amazing job on my pups. My wife and I were truly impressed!

Just a tad pricy compared to Walmart, but they have a wide selection of HEALTHY pet foods, and their staff are always great. Plus, theyve got real baked dog treats!

I love that we have a grooming station etc in there and, lots of toy options for pups. Not a large amount of items for any animal other than cats and dogs. Birds are kept in very small cages, at least theyre clean. Very very small section for ferrets. Prices are definitely higher than ordering off of chewy. Also LOVE that they offer vet services!! They did great with my dog who isnt good about shots.

This pet supplies store is refreshing, new, and well kept. The staff is friendly and non-judgmental, the selection is wide, and the fish look happy. Reasonable prices for the quality of goods and they even do grooming at the store. Dont forget to pet the happy orange cream adult tabby cat up for adoption! He loves visitors and would love to meet a potential adopter!

Store is always nice and clean, and it smells great too! I was able to get and back out within 5 minutes after picking up my cats flea medication. Store employees are always so helpful and always smiling when they greet you at the door. I used to order the medication online, but now I prefer to stop into my local store and get my items.

Great service and the reptile folks I spoke with knew their stuff. Didnt try pushing dry food on me for my beardie and recommended a great uvb light. Their live food is top notch.

Very clean and well kept store outside the Beta fish as some on display have passed. Friendly helpful service and the Guinea Pig we got is a very active and friendly little fella. We would shop here again.

A little disappointed at this visit. I try to buy & purchase from local stores. Usually pet supplies price match any advertised price. I had cases of dog food & asked him to compared to Chewy. But the new Young man at the counter said they had to add in shipping to each case? Never had any other employee do that. Sad to say, they would not price match the sale, so I left the cases their... Then i just purchased them on line from a different store on sale.. sorry, tried to keep it local

We do not live in the area and travel full time for my husbands job. We were in New York on and off for 3 years. All the other groomers were booked up in the time frame I was needing. Ive had my Aussies groomed at Pte Supplies Plus a few times. They never can understand to schedule both dogs at the same tim (I drive an hour and a half to get there). They do a great job on my mini. But my standard Aussie usually doesnt get groomed to my specifications. I order the deshed treatment, blowout, and a slight trim. The last time my standard was groomed, I do not believe they gave him the deshed treatment (but I was charged for it) or brushed him very well. I requested he be trimmed short behind his ears (hair was left extremely uneven), trimmed around his neck where his collar sits (wasnt done), the hair on his legs and belly trimmed and evened up (wasnt done) and he barely got a sanity trim on his behind. He shed way too much hair in my car for them to have brushed him well (hes had the deshed treatment several times and never had this much hair left afterwards). He actually had clumps of hair coming out. For what they charge, they should at least be able to follow simple instructions and do the job correctly. My dogs are use to being groomed but if there were any problems they needed to inform me. I will not be returning to this location for my dogs grooming needs.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Well stocked with merchandise. The minute you walk in it smells like wet dog, because there is dog grooming in the back. Very nice young man with a beard got me two fish.

Pet Supplies Plus has better prices and service than Petco. We drive from Hornell to stock up in Olean... thank you guys for your awesome customer service ❣️

Arrived at the store and asked for help as soon as I walked in. Staff was able to assist and answer the questions I was asking! Let the store having more knowledge than I did going in! Great experience!

I’m only this a two star because of the two helpful employees, Desmond and the cashier up who fixed the groomers wrong and apologized several times. I booked the first appointment of the morning and when I was about to pull into the store after my hour drive I got a call that the groomer had an emergency, I spoke to Spencer who said that she would be there soon and that he would not take long because the other appointment had rescheduled so my dog was the only appointment, about half an hour after I dropped my dog off I got a call from the groomer to go over the appointment. She rudely told me that I booked the wrong type of dog, which I replied that I knew that but they didn’t have my dogs breed on their list. Fast forward 3 hours, I walk into the store after not hearing from them to get an update, I spoke to Spencer again and asked him to go and check on my dog, he came out saying that he was not done and would be 45 more minutes since he had only gotten a bath and brush, he also added that the groomer had taken several walk-ins while my dog was there. I went back out and got his leash and collar to go get my dog after 3 hours. I speak to the groomer, who lies to me about how there was a double book this morning and that’s why Scooter was taking so long. She was rude and unprofessional, she took the package down to a brush and bath. I then asked to speak to a manager, Desmond took me to the front and gave me a discount, which I appreciated, however the whole situation could have been handled much differently if Spencer and the groomer would have not lied to me when I brought the situation to their attention. So almost 3 and half hours later I walked out with my dog, who was half groomed. I will not take him their again.

Super nice place. The workers are so kind and helpful and knowledgeable!! The only reason Im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the prices are a lot higher. I get some stuff at tractor supply because its so much cheaper.. if it was just a little cheaper Id never go anywhere else! Even chewy.com is cheaper.. and I dont have to leave my house.

Ugh. This is the second time I have purchased fish that have ick. I did the proper quarantine process for new fish and introducing them slowly in the aquarium and now all of my aquarium is dying off despite ick treatments. I will not buy fish from this store again. Every time I do they are very very sickly. When I go there they do not seem to know much about the fish they are selling to people either. I would highly suggest making sure your tanks are being treated & cleaned properly. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

Pet Supplies Plus, is one of the best places to get your pup food, treats, or groomed. The staff is extremely helpful, nice , and friendly. Always willing to help you get whatever you need.

Our dog is getting old and shes developed food allergies that have caused skin issues. We went to Pet Supplies Plus and a young lady there was very knowledgeable of the different foods, provided her personal recommendations, as well as whats popular and unpopular. She gave us a lot of information that helped us to decide what we wanted best for our pet. To me, she went well above what she needed to do. They also have an awesome grooming service and pet wash area! Great prices and plenty of choices!

My daughters birthday she asked for a Budgie, The staff that helped me get the Budgie or very helpful. The Budgie was supposed to be on sale. When I got to the cash they told me I had to sign up to get the sale price, When I explain to them that I dont wanna sign up I rather pay full price and never shop here again. The clerk said The total of the sale price with no discount. Nowhere did I see the details Until I was in the store. Over all I didnt feel good about shopping here. We have a farm and we have lots of pets, Its always better to shop at smaller independent shops. Google ask me how my experience was I thought Id share.

Similar to the Petsmart in Jamestown, but not as large a store. They offer most everything your pet could need or want, but theyre a bit more expensive than other pet/department stores. Very friendly staff who genuinely enjoy pets.

Knowledgeable staff.First employee who asked if we needed assistance quickly got another employee once he knew what we were looking for. He knew she could help us out better as she knew more about our specific pet needs. Second employee, Alex, listened to us and helped us find what we needed and might want for our specific situation/pet. Spent a bit more than intended, but was not pressured or guilted into the purchases. The recommendations were based on our questions and requests. My best pet store experience in the area by far. We will be returning. Theyve got our business.

Very good options for dogs and cats. Small selection of reptile related items, along with fish selections. Also BEWARE that MOST pet supply outlets sell reptile starter kits that do not meet even the minimal requirements for proper, healthy contained care. Prices also appear to be slightly higher on average compared to most surrounding locations that offer the same products, so be a mindful price shopper, and you may save a few bucks literally next door.... 50/50 but worth a stop depending on your pet/companions needs.

We bought my daughters ferret there. The staff was polite, knowledgeable and showed my daughter the KEY POINTS of how to care for her ferret. They even showed her how to stop him from biting without making him mean. Weve had him over a year now and he is the sweetest addition to our family! He came with a birth certificate, de-scented, neutered and with a certificate of being cleared of having any communicable diseases! I was VERY IMPRESSED (which ISNT an EASY task) and I recommend the store (although it IS a TWO HOUR drive to get there and back from my house)to ANYONE AND EVERYONE seeking to purchase a live animal if they ask. I LOVE this store!

Took my dog in for a bath. The ability to schedule a same day appointment online is super convenient. Gennie is awesome! Highly recommend her. Did all of my shopping and came home with a clean pup.

My cat had some mats in his fur and he just wouldnt let me brush him without being bitten.... he used to let my father brush him but thats not something thats able to be done anymore... So when I finally find a place that said they would shave him, they gave me a price over the phone so I drove all the way to New York and when I got there they told me that they don’t take cats and when I told them that I spoke with someone on the phone and that I was given a price for a cat over the phone the lady at the store told me that never happened and that I was wrong and never called the store. I was beyond mad. I showed her on my call history where I called the store and she still said I was wrong and that there was a mix up with the phone lines. At this point I washwas beyond upset. She couldn’t accept that one of her employees told me that they groomed cats, and that they were in the wrong. I had to be in the wrong. I was so mad that I wasted my time and gas going all the way out there. And then when I asked to speak with the manager the lady told me that the manager wasn’t there for the day and that she was the assistant manager. At that point I just turned around and walked away and left. .....

The store is neat, clean, and nicely organized. Every single person working asked me how I was doing and if I needed help. Not once did it seem pushy. Will definitely be returning.

The staff here is top notch. They are very willing to help and will go out of their way to do so. The only negative I have is that some sections lack variety, like cat toys. It is a smaller store, so there isnt as much to choose from. But, I love it and come in every time I am in town.

We had a terrible grooming experience and they offered a free grooming to make up for it and then tried to charge us for the free grooming! We didn’t have to pay after I said something and the manager was called back, but this whole thing was very frustrating and our dog suffered for it :(

Have gone for purchasing reptile and reptile supplies as well as supplies for puppies recently got. The employees are always willing to help with any questions and have various information about all pets readily available. Good prices with quality care from employees.

Limited retail. Only cashier in store never spoke or looked up from his phone.Well a year later. YES, I let this store try to make it right. HOWEVER, major fail. They are selling ball pythons with mites! To boot they do not carry treatment. Is the store not quarantining the animals? Thankfully, as an educated owner I do quarantine everything. The staff are not educated and will harass the customer for speaking up and follow them out of the store screaming in the parking lot. They have no business working with exotics especially reptiles. I suggest you get Olean store disinfected correctly.

The self service dog washing area is A++ Amazing. I live off grid and recently rescued a large breed dog. With no means of bathing him in a standing shower this self serve dog washing area was perfect. Definitly worth the price buying 5 washes for $25. In this wet weather climate of WNY my family really needed to be able to bathe him properly. Thank you so much PS+.

Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Things are generally in stock and displayed in a manner to make finding them easy. There are often sale items that we use regularly.

Was blown away with the knowledge and professionalism they worked with. Our dog hasnt been there but he loves them for sending his mom n dad home with the best food for him.

Their prices are good, BUT nobody there knows whats going on! I get a different answer every time & never an apology for wrong answers that cause inconvenience. They put something on sale & then just dont carry it (until the sale is over!?) They SAY they get fish every Monday, but not the sale fish! Very frustrating.

I bought a guinea pig from here less then a week ago and when I got up to feed it this morning it was dead! The other one I have, that I got from a different pet store is fine and healthy! I paid more for this one and it just died overnight. I’m not very happy as it was my daughters gift and now I have to break the news..

This store was great. I bought my bungies from this store, they were in good health and friendly. However they werent perch trained, but thats ok. A bit pricey but very good service and knowledge.

This worker I’m not sure of them name wouldn’t let me buy a feeder fish because I don’t have a tank set up with a filter for a fish that is meant to be fed to another fish very poor experience.

Used to love this place but its become obvious profit is being put over customer service. Theyve lost some of the better workers, and the manager is no longer as friendly as she used to be.

Its a great place but they handled the fish and tanks not very good

I had gotten a hamster a few days ago and they were fine one night then the next morning i woke up and it was dead, i went back and decided to get a new one to find that there was a dead one within their enclosure. I just now found the new hamster dead. I don’t know why its happening but i am not pleased at all, Its just saddening.

Good pet store with all the essentials and a self serve dog wash

The groomer Alexis was rude and refused to honor my dog’s appt because he took his medication prescribed by his vet. I waited 3 weeks for his appt and was not advised he couldn’t have medication 48 hours before being groomed. Sorry but I am not taking my dog off medication his dr prescribed because the staff member and her form says to. That isn’t someone I want taking care of my fur baby! Stopping medication suddenly has adverse effects - I will take him to someone with more experience, who cares about the health and safety of pets.

Got 3 hermit crabs from this place, all have broken legs and I got one today, wrong size shell, way too big all the shells in their enclosure are small, also all boys?

My dog normally goes to a private groomer in my town and she has never had a problem with her. I had an errand in Olean (45 min from home) and the dogs nails needed trimmed, so I thought I would kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Huge mistake.In the amount of time it took to trim her nails she ended up with a bloody nose and a bloodshot eye. Her bloody nose wasnt just a trickle, it was non-stop bright red blood running out of her nose for over an hour. Her eye is still bloodshot 5 days later. The groomer at Pet Supplies told me it was because she was so anxious. My vet says it was because they cut off her air supply having the neck leash too tight.I will never go there again and I am mortified that I put my dog in that situation. I only wish I had stood there and watched instead of walking around the store for those 10 minutes. After mentioning what happened at work, a co-worker said she had the same experience with her dog at the Olean location. If I could give less than 1 star, I would.
