Howl-Iday River Inn

Hi , im connie the owner of the howliday river inn. I have had a few bad reviews this year . All i want to say about them is that there is two sides to the ever story and i am willing to talk to anybody about them . I am sorry that some people felt they had a bad experience . I try my best to please the owners and their puppy dogs .

So i dropped off my 3 dogs to howl-lday river in on the 4th at 8 am thinking she was going to have room for these dogs got there she put my two big dogs in a pen that was way too small i ask about it she said i didnt know how big there was THATS A LIE I told her one is 130. Other 80 i been planing this for over 6 months plus I been texting her and even called her ask for the big pups to be put in a big pen with a trap door her and her husband said that would happen but no it didnt then She Been grooming my dog for over 4 years and I had to bord them with her she said my 13 Years old pup that she been grooming for 4 years bite her. I never seem him bite anyone so she must of did some thing to make the dog feel threaten for that to happen so I went to pick them up and my one big dog was so scared to come out of the pen I dont thing connie or her husband knows how to have a Bording business becouse its a very stressful on the dogs if they never been borded I think how she was saying my 13 year old dog bite her how my other dog was scared to come out of the pen there something going on there. Well i hope this helps everyone about boarding just becouse they good at grooming ur pups dont mean they will be good bordering place so please be careful where you put ur pups at if you every need toBECAREFULL WHERE YOU TAKE UR PUPS TO 🐶 ALWAYS LOOK INTO THINGS FIRST JUST BECOUSE THEY GOOD GROOMER DONT MEAN THEY THE BEST PLACE TO BORDER UR PUPS

I left my two dogs here for a week, the woman was very courteous and took great care of my dogs! She runs the kennel alongside her home. It was extremely affordable and I would definitely recommend!

HORRIBLE pet care. I counted my dogs anxiety pills before leaving them with this kennel, and left specific instructions on how many pills to administer, and how many times a day. The owner lied to me about giving my dog his medicine and said I must have miscounted them. (that would have meant I miscounted 12 pills and mistook it for 24). My dogs were bathed before I picked them up and that was lied about also. both dogs smelled like shampoo when I picked them up. I was told it must be because the kennel was so clean. this is also untrue. the place smelled like dogs, as it should, as soon as I walked in the door. This is the only kennel that I have never been admitted to walk to the the actual housing where the pets would be. its been a day and a half since I picked my dogs up, and they are still cowering when I call them to me. something horrible happened to my fur babies while in the care of this facility. My dogs have been boarded before, and have NEVER acted like this.

Have always had my Babygirls toenails done here. Great environment and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

I take all 3 of my dogs to Connie. She has always done a great job. She just did my cockapoo who needed grooming very much. He smells wonderful. She always clips their nails and cleans their ears. I highly recommend her.

Toto had her first appointment today. Very clean, great grooming, and polite. Very fair prices.

I showed up with no notice on a Thursday with 2 dogs. Minimum paper work, bring bring enough dog food for your time frame, and great price.Im also sure my dogs loved the socializing with the community of dogs. For me to drive up from TN., and just be dropped off.. I expected a little more excitment when they saw me. So I guess they seemed relaxed and at home.

The owner is great I took 3 dogs there years ago and now I have 1 dog I take she is friendly and knows here stuff.

Connie, the owner, was friendly. Our pup was clean and happy after a 3 day stay.

Cant get anyone on the phone....Tried a few times to scedual an appointment and no one picks up...Please pick up your phone if you are in business....
