Lady & the Tramp Dog & Cat Grooming

Our local petsmart stopped offering haircuts for cats so we needed to find another groomer, so glad we found Lady & the Tramp Grooming! The staff is so cooperative and kind, and our cats shave down looks great. They even added a little bow! Highly recommend checking out this place, as the prices are also slightly cheaper than other groomers.

I had called a few places. They either did not groom cats or my cat was too old to be groomed at their shop. I have a 14 year old orange fur ball that was never groomed before. Because he is so fat he cant reach his back and started to get matted. I knew he was not comfortable and wouldnt let me touch the area. I called Lady & The Tramp. They got me in the day I was available. They were so nice and did a fantastic job. He smells great and is so much happier to be matt free! Thank you so much I will definitely recommend your shop to all I know ❤️

I highly recommend The Lady and the Tramp Grooming services. The haircut they gave my Sheila was awesome. The groomers and staff are wonderfulSheila thinks so too and she’s a good judge of character.

The only groomer I trust with my cat. My cat forbids me to maintain and clean him, so I began researching for a groomer. I have taken him here for almost a year now and each time, he looks refreshed, is calm, and loves being pampered. My cat will continue to be a customer.

I brought both my cats here and this place and the people who work here are absolutely amazing. My 2 boys came home looking beautiful and happy. They are so accommodating and make appointments quickly. I definitely recommend them for anyone needing an amazing cat groomer!!

I would never bring my pets anywhere else. They are so gentle with my elderly cat when she needs a shave down, she gets matted poor baby.And they groomed my pup for yrs. They are always friendly and patient. I totally trust them with my fur babies !

My older cat with CH was developing a matted area on her hip. She was uncomfortable. I made an appointment with this amazing groomer. They shaved, bathed and trimmed her nails! My Lily was so cooperative with them. My beautiful cat is happy, comfortable and beautiful! I highly recommend “Lady and the Tramp and Cat’s”! They are amazing 🤩

Absolutely LOVE this place. My long hair cat needs regular sanitary shaves so he doesnt get his business all stuck to his fur. I was nervous because Ive never used a groomer before, especially with a cat. I did research and really liked how much experience they had with cats and how great their reviews were.They are angels here! Diane is always a pleasure and every team member Ive spoken to has been incredibly friendly, humble, and truly passionate about what they do. They happily answered all of my (many) nervous-nelly questions and gave their professional recommendations of what I could do. Now we bring our boy Apollo in every six weeks for a hollow out, bath, and nail clipping. Hes so clean and happy when we get him back! So worth the 30 min drive!!!! We just grab a little brunch on main street while we wait. :)

Always wonderful! The staff is incredibly friendly and well skilled at grooming my pets! They do an awesome job giving my cat a lion cut during the summer time. My dog comes home looking oh so dapper when I bring him in for a hair cut every few months. Bring your pet to Lady & The Tramp, you wont be disappointed!

Really nice experience. I have an elderly cat that needed a considerable grooming due to matting. The vet usually helps me out to a degree when needed. Lady and the Tramp took him on short notice and a snowy morning. They are very kind and really love the pets. He came out looking and smelling beautiful. Even his tail! Hes got the perfect lion cut. I can’t recommend this groomer enough! I brought my shy, skittish kitten here for the first time today; if possible, I think I was more nervous than he was. I had a terrible experience with a different groomer with an older cat & was extremely nervous about bringing him anywhere. He had a big mat very close to his skin in between his back legs that my husband & I tried to remove several times with no success. He would scream & fight us every time, it broke my heart! Not only did she remove the mat, she cleaned him up exactly how we asked (I’m annoyingly picky), he smells incredible & my sweet boy was calm & relaxed when I brought him home. The owner was so kind & professional and I knew when I dropped him off that he was in good hands. I will definitely be bringing him back; I highly recommend!

I called this groomer last minute because my cat got sick night before and I was having a problem cleaning her myself. The owner fit me in right away even though they were very busy. My cat was cleaned and groomed so nice and promptly! I’ll definitely be back in the future!

I brought my friends terrier mix to Lady & the Tramp back in April 2019. First time there and I was very happy! He was bathed, shaved and cleaned as promised. Im going back again. Theyre very friendly and obviously love what they do!!

I brought my long hair black cat, Luna for nail clipping and removal of matted hair. They know how to handle cats! Luna is a scaredy cat and barely lets me brush her so I thought her grooming was going to be an impossible task. Luna had her nails trimmed and all matted hair removed within 10 minutes of my arrival! I love Lady and the Tramp!

I took my put for the first time and what a disappointment. My puppy is all chopped everywhere and the staff handed my puppy like nothing, pictures will speak by it self .

I bring my difficult cat to L&tT regularly for grooming. They are confident and competent and get him brushed, claw-clipped and butt-trimmed (hes a longhair who will not let me groom him) quickly and without causing him stress. Theyre a great team, keeping him controlled and distracted and working so smoothly that he doesnt have time to get ornery. b(*_*)d

Before my shiba passed, this was the ONLY place I would take my dog to be groomed. They were so nice with him. (He hates water) he always looked so handsome leaving there. Will continue my business here when I add a new dog to the family.

I was running around like a wild woman! Calling around to find a groomer and immediately, I knew I found her new grooming home! The staff here were so professional, no wait time, the environment was cozy, and it smelled amazzzzing! I felt super happy with leaving my Athena here for care. My son, who knows very little about dog grooming, brought our golden retriever to this establishment without my knowledge and asked to have her shaven. The groomer butchered our beautiful dogs fur, leaving patches of different lengths and various raw marks of skin irritation throughout her body. I was livid when I saw our dog and the horrible state she was left in. Any knowledgeable groomer would know the endless amount of health issues and negative side effects that are caused when a dog breed with a double coat of fur is shaven. Throughout my research for steps I can take to promote the re-growth of her healthy coat, I came across numerous articles by groomers who passionately stated their strong refusal to any owner who insists on shaving their golden retriever. Not only is it a shame my son didnt encounter a similar groomer, but also that the state of New York doesnt require certification or licensing for dog groomers. Hopefully her fur will grow back quickly and she wont encounter any health issues but I would never recommend this groomer.

I came here for the first time and they left some parts of hair longer on some sides and some sides were fully shaved off it could’ve been better.

I tried to shave my cat myself but it wasnt happening. She did it in 5 minutes and the cat just let her do it. I watched the whole time and the cat never cried or was hurt in any way shape or form. Definitely going back. Plus they are 15 bucks cheaper than the place by me!

Have always brought my cats to Lady and the Tramp ~ they are very ATTENTIVE especially to my 16 year old car OREO who has arthritis in his hind legs ~ they treat him gently and are very kind ~ compassionate ~ and caring! HIGHLY RECOMMEND 👍🏼😊

Lady & the Tramp is the best place on Long Island. The groomers are very nice and their work is consistently excellent. The prices are fair. Me and my dog, Boo, highly recommend it!

The lady is so nice with my cat! My cat got a good grooming and smells so good after this. She even clean my cat’s the ear wax, really appreciate it! Love this place

We have been bringing our Beagle, Fiona, to Lady and the Tramp for years. She is older now and we have total faith in the loving way she is treated at Lady and the Tramp. They have an honest love for the animals they are grooming.
