Room for Paws

Our dog loved staying here. We left her for a week and it was her first stay away from home. She was happy and stable when we came to get her. She loved spending time with the other dogs and with Julie who takes care of the dogs and is a vet tech. Our dog bonded with Julie right away and gave her kisses and she is usually shy with strangers. The facility has heat and a/c and is kept clean. When she wasnt eating her food Julie put some Greek yogurt in the food to help her appetite and to settle her stomach. We will definitely use room for paws to board again since our dog did so well here. Dont let the negative reviews abt the husband deter you as he wasnt feeling well at the time. He is doing much better now.

I have been going here for years. My dog doesn’t really like other dogs so he has to be isolated when boarded. I’ve never had any issues of any kind. I’ve even left my dog there for 5+ days straight and there was no issues. The husband can be a little gruff, but he means no harm

Julie is so wonderful and knowledgeable with dogs! I feel very comfortable when leaving my Jasper at her facility. The facility is so clean, and air conditioned in the summer. My Jasper gets so excited for daycare, and so tired when picking him up. I would Highly recommend ROOMS FOR PAWS to anyone for Daycare and or Boarding!Mrs Catherine Wood

Our two pups Wally and Georgie have been coming here since they were puppies and they LOVE Julie and daycare. They wag their tails every time we pull into the parking lot. Room for Paws is always extremely accommodating to us and we love that we can trust them fully with our fur babies.

What a pleasure. Friendly ownership and staff. Our pup ALWAYS comes home tuckered out, and is so happy to see them. Never a worry, never a care, great rates, and clean, safe facilities. Make sure to call ahead to help secure enough spaces for everyone!

If you send your dog here they will likely come back with fleas, you have been warned. I’ve sent my dog here 3 times and had to treat for fleas each time afterwards it’s more hassle than it’s worth.

Wouldn’t even give this place a one star. Terrible owners. My friends dog was found covered in her feces upon their arrival back from their trip. They Never took the effort to bathe the dog… just “ran water” over their dog and let the feces stay in the dogs fur. Would never send my animals here

Called and this not friendly guy answered.. he talked over me and was rude from the start of the conversation. Wouldnt rate 1 star if I had to.To the wife: I would never consider visiting with my dog(baby) having been treated like that over the phone. Manners is a superpower!! Not natural anymore. Have a nice day!!

Our dogs are a handful so I can’t thank Room for Paws enough for their hospitality. They run an excellent facility. Bart and Jackie love daycare!

My dog Henry was boarded here for nine days Julie went beyond to give Henry attention .Henry has special needs and he was accomodated and enjoyed his stay there I will definitely send him again.

Julie and Mike keep this place clean and safe...with a bit of spoiling on the side. Highly recommend for your peace of mind and fur babies.

Very rude! Came out for a day to lake George with my family to find it a little tough for my dog. So I decided to call them and try to book something for one day and from the start he was rude well you didnt say that with an attitude as I am trying to explain our situation. He didnt require any paperwork to board so that alone made it a little fishy which is why we decided not to continue with the boarding he called my phone back and was rude the whole time.

The owner was really rude to me. I stopped by to say hello and find out a little about the shop, and he was really standoffish, blatantly rude, and even threatened me with “40 year combat vet” experience. That’s really disrespectful to veterans. Very difficult to work with.

Loved the owners..just spent one day but my mini dachshund was well cared for!

Its a great grooming place for dogs especially serving West Glens Falls.

Very poor service my dogs came back in poor condition they did not come back at all the way they looked when I dropped them off my dogs came back with sores all over their bodies and we paid $100 and refused to pay the rest when we saw our dogs condition

We gladly drive an hour out of our way to board our young Great Dane with Room for Paws. She always comes back healthy and happy, and we love seeing videos of her playing with other dogs. Weve tried boarding closer to home, but Grace didnt get anywhere near the care and attention she does at Room for Paws.

As a stay-at-home mom, my kids and my dogs NEVER went to daycare! So when I first took my puppy to Room for Paws a few months ago I was a wreck! Mike practically held my hand through the process and Julie took SUCH good care of our puppy! Weve been there a few more times for short stays and each time weve had the same great experience.Today, I picked up our puppy after 7 nights there. It was just like picking up my kids from sleep away camp. She made new friends, had new experiences, and is exhausted! Shes happy to be home, but isnt clingy and obnoxious the way she was after a stay at a different boarding facility last month. Im so grateful that weve found Room for Paws! 🐾
