We have bringing our dog here for years whenever we visit Lake George and Saratoga. Kim and the staff are kind, knowledgeable and love dogs. We recently brought our 6 yr old rescue German Shepherd who we were nervous to board for the first time due to reactivity - Kim put us and our dog right at ease, and she was able to confidently handle him within just a few minutes. We got a great report on how he did as well as tips and even a recommendation for a trainer to speak with! Our dog Drake did great and came home happy and well-loved. We will continue to feel confident in bringing our pets to Tails Wag Inn whenever we travel to the area!!

I boarded my dog here for the weekend (2 days) and when we picked him up he was very distraught. We also noticed that his nose and paws were extremely irritated (red and raw looking). I’m pretty sure they deprived him of water also, he drank like 8 bowls once we returned home . I wouldn’t have been surprised if they didn’t give him water his entire stay. This place doesn’t even deserve the one star. If you love your dog, stay away from this place!

My dog loved this place. ❤️... I would definitely recommend it. The price isnt bad either, $35 a day to board. They have both doggy daycare and boarding. They have a group for the dogs where they can play and stuff, which was actually great for our little Jack Russell.

I’ve used tails wag inn a couple times now and have had great experiences! My dogs have been bathed every time and Kim is personable and even remembered they’re feeding schedule after only having them one time! I also had to extend their stay by a day and she was very flexible and understanding! She even washed my dog blankets for me that I sent with them each time! I would highly recommend!

If you care about your dogs wellbeing, DO NOT come here. I brought my dog there twice. The second time when I picked her up, the attendant asked if there was something wrong with her leg and I said no.she was perfectly fine when I dropped her off. She said she picked her up and she yelped. I asked how she picked her up and she picked her up under her arms and she’s 30 pounds and old. You never pick up dogs like that, let alone larger dogs. ALSO, my cousin worked there after I stopped bringing my dog. She ended up quitting because she said the attendants hit and beat the animals, carry them around by the scruff of their necks and laugh, saying they have a dog purse. They are psychopaths there and they will hurt your dog. Please don’t bring them there, they’re defenseless and can’t tell you what happened to them. Also, there have been dogs that were poisoned and died while there. I contacted the owner and have yet to get a response. Don’t take my word for it, look it up. Just find another place, they aren’t safe there.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I would never ever recommend this place to ANYONE! My dog stayed for a few nights a while back and when we picked him up he had been attacked by another dog. His ear and jowl were completely punctured through, he had bite marks all over his head and face, and he was covered in blood. NO ONE INFORMED US OF HIM BEING ATTACKED, and when we called asking what had happened the owner laughed and joked that it was a play bite from another dog. A family friend picked up her dog today and her dog had been bitten too through its nose. The owner does not care at all, had no apology, and instead accused her of leaving bad reviews. I have seen multiple horror stories. DO NOT SEND YOUR PETS TO THIS PLACE.

Kim was so accommodating!! After reading the horrible reviews of the original place we booked our pup boarding here. Kim called us back after leaving her a message detailing our situation. She took our pup in the same day. We met Pasey. She’s so lovely, so experienced, we felt at ease leaving our baby for the first time since we adapted him 1.5 years ago. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants peace of mind. Awesome boarding/daycare/grooming place. Kim was quick to answer any messages I sent her way. We are very pleased.

This place was ok at first. We were visiting for 5days and our pup stayed over night twice. After the first night we were super happy he came back smelling great after being bathed happy calm and content. When we picked him up today however he stinks of pee his skin and paws are super red and irritated. I dont know if he was just left out in the sun all day yesterday or if he just slept in his own pee all night but he is not himself and I will not bring him back

Dropped one of my dogs here for about a week. Picked him up today. He came out of a high kill shelter with lots of trauma just a few months ago and I needed to board him while I traveled for a few days. He got so much exercise and attention here. His coat looks great. He also got a chance to socialize with other dogs slowly but surely and he was in perfect health and super happy when I picked him up today! Thanks to all the staff who made him feel comfy and loved while there. We’ll use Tails Wag Inn again 100%. Kim, the owner, is super responsive too. ❤️

Very nice people, worked with me in a difficult situation, reasonable prices. My dog is shy around people he doesnt know and not used to being kenneled or around other dogs very often. They introduced him slowly to other dogs and said he acclimated fine. They were just coming back from a walk with him when we picked him up. Due to our circumstance we may need to put him up a couple more times in the near future. I will not hesitate to use them again.

It was my first time boarding my newly adopted dog and I was a bit nervous -- this place made me feel very welcome, and he was in great hands! Fantastic price, and they offer great grooming services, as well. Extremely friendly staff who calmed my concerns and made my dog feel comfortable. If I lived closer, I would absolutely bring him here whenever possible - if youre in the Queensbury area, I would definitely recommend Tails Wag!

I wish that I could rate them higher and that I had a better experience. I picked my dog up early as my youngest son was sick and unable to go on vacation with the rest of the family. I picked her up after the first day and paid for her entire stay. I absolutely had no issues I totally understand that policy. It makes sense and is only fair. My issue however was with the boarding facility in general.I was not with my husband when he dropped her off, and I dont beleive I would have left her there had I been with him. I called earlier in the morning to let them know the situation and I would be picking her up...no bill had been left or printed for me when I went to pay and the young woman didnt seem entirely sure of my bill at first after it was paid... I was told it would be mailed.I went into the actual boarding facility where there is a door separating a small entrance from the kennel area. In that area the smell was so strong it made it hard to breathe. As the woman (the same woman that I paid by the she was very nice but seemed frazzled) opened the next door I was surprised to see the set up of the kennel. The set up of the kennels were larger dogs on bottom and smaller dogs on top which I had not really expecting. The smell in there was even stronger...In trying to be fair maybe I was there before things were completely cleaned up but it had a smell of feces and urine.Ive only boarded my dog twice this being the third and I was so upset by this boarder I would not recommend it to anyone. And I just received our bill in the mail and I was quoted a price of 30 dollars when I called for a reservation and the bill now stated 35 dollars per night...yes definitely not happy

Stopped by Lake George for the wine and food festival and brought our Hazel to Tails Wag Inn for doggie daycare. Hazel had a blast, and Kim and the crew were great to her. Just make sure you’ve got your pup’s vaccination records all set. Hazel can’t wait to have another play date at Tails Wag Inn very soon!

The owner Kim and her employees are very helpful and kind and are down to earth. I went there to adopt a dog, did a meet and greet but it didnt work well with my other two dogs, but as I was there I saw through the fence in the back yard the employees playing ball and the water hose and the pools with the other dogs there as she also boards and grooms. Wonderful place and I recommend her establishment and her services !

Called to have my dog boarded and no answer after calling about 10 times so I decided to ride up. Got there and they were open and was told my dog needed his vaccine. Cool so I went to get it done within 30 minutes. I called again to let them know that I had gotten the vaccines and you guessed it, no answer. When I arrived I spoke with someone different who told me to call Kim. I told the lady that Kim won’t answer and her response was that there is nothing that they can do. Now I am heading back home on a vacation that I planned months ago and a needed vacation after this pandemic. I missed my vacation due to a very unprofessional company. I do not recommend bringing your dog here. If that’s how they treat paying customers imagine how they treat dogs that they take care of!

Place is remote if you are staying around lake george or bolton landing area. that would have been ok but the place is tiny---tiny rooms for dogs to play, tinny cells for keeping dogs overnignt....and it stinks with dog pees in the dog kennel area!!!! I made a reservation, took my dog there, walked in and walked out. i wonder whether the owner would keep his or her own dog there! its cruel to keep you dog there. i wouldnt have been able to enjoy my vacation knowing my dog is suffering in a tiny cell, no place to play....and lots of dogs were hawling desparately.....

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE! Just had the most awful experience here while boarding my two small, elderly, dogs. Upon arrival my dogs had an accident in their crate getting fecal matter on themselves so I asked the facility to please bathe my dogs as soon as they could. They said sure and I left for my vacation. Upon picking my dogs up, I was asked to go into the kennel and harness/leash them myself because the kennel attendant was afraid of dogs. Once I leashed my dogs up, I asked for their travel crate which to my surprise was filthy. There was fecal matter and urine left in my personal crate and when I asked why they said it was because it happened when they put my dogs in the crate. I do not know why my dogs were put into a travel crate at all during their stay or further more why the crate wasnt cleaned. I then started to become suspicious so I asked the attendant when my dogs were bathed and she said they were bathed the day before I picked them up which means they sat in their own fecal matter and urine for 3 days because they did not bathe them when I first arrived. I now have an astronomical vet bill for my oldest dog who contracted kennel cough from the filthy conditions she was left in during her stay. THEY ARE GOING TO DENY THEY HAVE KENNEL COUGH BUT THEY DO! DONT LEAVE YOUR BELOVED ANIMALS HERE!

Couple things need to post..first of all the lady who we met up with at the place of business after a phone conversation had a nice appearance by name of ANNEbut turned out to be deceiving liar...quotes one price for over night stay ..ended up being double upon pick up ..my wife try to dispute that it was incorrect but was looked at like she was lying and now Anne was no where to be found to settle this matter not even calling her cell phone..but the most disappointing part of all this was the conditions our dogs were upon pickup....my 9 year old morkie was put in a crate ...who knows how long with out being let out..drenched in is own urine and my 2 year old female husky had a open wound on her nose and also smelled awful at pickup.. we were never notified of any incidents or what caused the wound..very unorganized and unprofessional...would not ever recommend this place to anyone who truly cares for there pets

I brought my dog there for one night a few months ago. The small building where they keep the dogs smells absolutely terrible and did not look like the pictures at all. The little building where you pay is filled with cats and smells just as bad. My dog takes daily medication which he absolutely needs. I gave them specific instructions for giving it to him and explained how important it was. They did not even give it to him at all, nor did they offer a reason why it was not even attempted. I do not recommend this place at all.
