Dr. Lachhar is excellent - he always evaluates so thoroughly. He gets right to the heart of the issue for me and my dog. He has supported us through the lives of both our dogs and I trust him implicitly. The office always works with me on emergency appointments & Dr. Lachhar calls me about results even if the office is closed. I have worked with other Vets in the past and have always been turned off by either their inflexible schedules and/or their insistence on how “I must” handle my dog. Dr. Lachhar is very dedicated to the practice, communicates clearly his recommendations and always considers my feelings. I highly The Animal Hospital of Riverhead

Took my dog for grooming and my dog came back with a broken paw! Called them the next day and the receptionist was rude and the doctor refused to accept accountability and said that “he checks all the dogs” before he releases them, what a lie. My parents come in a week later in hopes for them to resolve the issue and instead they charge them $20 for some pills saying after 10 days your dogs leg will be back to normal and if it doesn’t come back for X-rays, what a joke! We call them explaining they need to fix our dogs leg free of charge because we paid $300 for grooming then we find out they break our dogs paw and expect us to pay for it ? After that they say the doctor will give us a call the next day and never give us a call back. Keep in mind we live an hour and a half a day and it’s hard for us to find time to take our dog because of work. NEVER COME HERE ! THEY ARE CRIMINALS! LAWSUIT INCOMING !

They are compassionate. My cat passed away on July 11thovernight and I brought him to the Riverhead Veterinarian for cremation. They did an excellent job of taking care of my beautiful boy we called Loverboy. Now hes home 💖😢

It was an emergency, and they fit me in within the hour. They took me right in when we got there and handled the situation quickly, and my dog was in pain, so they gave her pain shot immediately, which helped her. I can not thank them enough for all of the above. They are very caring and Im very happy with them

Prompt service always on time. These folks really love dogs and it shows! Also, very pleased they finally eliminated that silly mask requirement. Good people!

Recently brought my grand fur baby CoCo to AHOR and as always great staff great vet I can’t complain I love this place and everyone there. I used them with my own fur babies in the past and I will continue to use them. They always go above and beyond!

I took my cat Benny here because I wasnt satisfied with the vet weve been going to for years now. The other vet made me sedate him at home beforehand which I hated, labeling him as aggressive. Riverhead told me I didnt have to do so and when he came out of the carrier he was so calm and didnt make a sound or move. The doctor and his assistant held him but also talked to him and pet him. The entire staff is very compassionate toward not only the animals but their owners, knowing how we can stress over our fur babies. The price of their services was not bad either. Weve found our new vet. I dont care if they are further away. This place is aces all the way.

I called around 11:20am Monday for an appt. after a few days of my dog not eating well. Dr. Lachhar was going into surgery at 12pm. The receptionist said if I could bring her down before 12pm they would see her. I brought her right down. I have to say I didnt really think anything life threatening was wrong with her. I had just put down some pest killer outside a few days prior and figured she may have come in contact with some. But after a few questions and an examination Dr. Lachhar knew it was pyometra. He recommend an X-ray which we did and it showed her enlarged uterus, which he then drew blood to insure it was infected. The next morning he called me immediately with the blood results confirming his prognosis. He gave me two options (his recommendation) surgery, or antibiotics (which wasnt a guarantee cure). Since the antibiotics wasnt guaranteed to work and she needed to be spayed anyway I went with his recommendation. We scheduled the surgery for the following morning. Thank god we did, she was his 2nd worse case in the past 22yrs, she would of become septic if untreated probably and most likely died. Cant thank him enough! He was reasonably priced and the staff was so friendly and loving towards my Storm. Connie (Im guessing his tech.) walked us out and made sure she got in my truck safely. I will only be using Dr. Lachhar from now on, since her current vet is on the more expensive side.I also noticed they clipped her nails and cleaned her ears at no charge. :) couldnt be more pleased with choosing them!

Zero stars for almost KILLING my dog. Complete negligence. The receptionist and assistant I met are very sweet and and professional though. I had other veterinarians telling me this doctors negligence would have killed my dog if I didn’t listen to my gut and have him seen elsewhere. They also only chose to reply to ONE bad review. Interesting, the magnitude of the bad reviews they chose not to respond to. Says a lot.

My experience was very good. I just purchased a puppy and was sent here for follow up shots. The staff and Dr. we’re very friendly.

I think someone else said it, but I would give 10 stars if I could! The staff here is so amazing. We got our chocolate lab neutered here and Dr. Lachhar will be our primary vet going forward. Him and his staff are thorough, kind, and beyond intelligent. It’s so relieving having a trustworthy vet.

I live nearby and I called this morning in hopes of a last minute appointment for my cat and the lady who answered (unfortunately I didn’t get her name) was so helpful and polite, she was able to get me an appointment 2 hours after I called which I was so grateful for. Once I got there they helped me quickly despite having 2 emergencies already going on. Everyone there including the doctor was super professional and friendly, you could also tell they genuinely care about your pet. The lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful as well. On top of all of this the doctor made sure to give me different options at different price points for what I needed for my cat and both were affordable. This was my first time coming and I won’t be going anywhere else! 10/10 recommend

I cannot thank the whole staff enough. I called just yesterday, frantic over health conditions with my dog. they had me come first thing this morning without hesitation. My 10 year old dog has been suffering with an almost incurable ear infections and skin conditions, I have gone to countless vets who made me feel down right defeated over the years to the point I was almost scared to continue going. They showed me nothing but compassion, they made my dog and I feel safe and welcomed. I have honestly never been to a better vet in the years of being a “dog mom”. The vet instantly told me our treatment plan for the future, and although it will be long I know he is in the best hands, and for once i am relieved and feel hopeful for him. They started his medication instantly, and showed that they truly do care. the nurse assistants are angels.I really cannot thank you all enough.

DONT GO HERE. MY cat was injured he sutured it under anesthesia when he came home he was so over medicated he didnt eat or drink for 2 days had to ask him to give him a shot of fluids.SO 3 weeks later go in to get stitches out and wound reopened another surgery to RESUTURED. Now i waited another 3 weeks the whole 6 weeks he had on collar..and i noticed it was opened again SO 850$ later i went to another vet and hes in surgery again..again dont go here dont go here u will be ripped off

EDITED: I have changed my opinion on this particular veterinary office and have updated my review accordingly. Pre Covid I had nothing but great things to say, but sadly, that is no longer the case. My dog recently had a lump removed, and the experience has unfortunately changed my opinion. My dog had a lump removed from the front of his throat, by the jugular vein. When I went to pick the dog up post surgery, before I had even seen the dog or received an update on the dog, Dr Lachhar came out holding his phone toward me with a picture of the growth on it asking if I wanted to see it. I would have expected a bit more care and compassion. The dog was in a large oversized crate in a cold back room by himself, with no blankets or bedding. I was going to be sent home without any pain medication, just a 7 day round of antibiotics. Fortunately I asked about pain management and then was given the pain medication. There were no phone calls or follow up visits to check or monitor the dog and the incision, just a three week post op schedule to remove the staples. Post Covid, this office has reduced office hours, and if you need anything past 12 or 1 pm, you’re out of luck. I’ve had to take my dog to other offices since this to accommodate my schedule and I was told that the incision was deeply infected because the wrong sutures were used causing the dog infection and more stress. I appreciate the years of care my dog received previously, but I can’t in good faith recommend The Animal Hospital of Riverhead to anyone.I have been taking my dog here for years. Connie and Rachel have always been very helpful and friendly. The dr. Is great and they are always easy to work with to get an appointment. Highly recommended.

The most loving, compassionate people every time I take my pup!! They get to the point and never refuse any appointment or treatment!! By far 20 stars!! Thank you for loving my pup !!

Always a pleasure dealing with Riverhead Animal hospital. I called at 9am and was seen at 11am and well taken care of! They are the best!

Every time I bring my dog cinnamon they make him feel very welcomed and he is very calm during his grooming and happy after very nice people in office the office has a calm setting for the animals who have anxiety 100% would recommend

Additionally, I appreciate the fact that they offer one stop needs for all pets with their state-of-the-art facilities for routine medical care, testing, surgical, pharmaceuticals, bathing, grooming, and end of life care as well. We have been there 2x in the last week as our Boxer is Ill. The Vet has been very knowledgeable and the staff very kind. I would recommend them.

Dr. Lachhar is great with animals and very professional. I highly recommend bringing your pet to him! Everyone in the office is very friendly and truly cares about your pet. Hard to believe that anyone could have a bad experience here from what Ive seen. Whether its an emergency or a scheduled check-up, they are always accommodating and I feel very safe bringing my dog here because I know hes in good hands.

I have been using this hospital for over 15 years and the doctor and staff couldnt be nicer. I recently had to put my cat down and they were compassionate and understanding. They let me stay with her in a separate room for as long as I need. In addition their prices as very reasonable. I live a good distance and there are many other vets closer to my location but I am willing to travel here because Dr. Lachar and the staff are so nice and helpful,

We were not able to get an appointment with Scarlet’s regular vets and her condition was worsening. We tried AHR in part based on reviews and their willingness to squeeze us in right away and then took wonderful care of her. They explained clearly what might be going on and recommendations. Focus was entirely on her the whole time we were there. Two injections and she was able to hop right in the car to go home. We’ll be back.

All I can say is they were wonderful!!!!! I was on my way to my regular vet in Southampton from Center Moriches for a Dog emergency. I got to Hampton Bay and was stuck in a dead stop with no let up in sight. There was no way I was going to get there in time for my dog. I turned around to go to the emergency vet in Riverhead and passed The Animal Hospital of Riverhead. Quick pulled in check rating on yelp and they had almost 5 stars. Ran in and explained the situation to the girls at the desk. They were great. They spoke to the doctor and he had NO problem seeing me at all and didnt have to wait more than 5 min. He was nice, caring and lifted my spirits that my dog was going to be ok. They spoke to my other vets office to get his records and I was able to leave him there to be treated and picked up in the afternoon. I cannot tell you how much I love these people. They could have told me to continue on to the emergency vet but they didnt. Everyone was super nice and treated my dog like one of their own and I did not have to pay a million $$. I may change vets after all :). I still love them as well but very hard to get there in an emergency :(I cant thank them enough for what they did without blinking an eye!!!!!!!

My dog had dental surgery and did fantastic. What a professional, caring staff. Dr. Lachar was very informative and my dog did great. He is 13 years old and I am so happy its over. I highly recommend the Riverhead animal hospital.

Professionalism, Reliability, Responsiveness.We were Referred by our friend to visit them. We were surprised to know this is an One-Stop Shop for Pet Care which includes doctors office, hospital, pet grooming , pet hotel and more.Dr. Lachhar examined our 7 year old Boxer in detail and brought to our attention of dental issues and showed us the spots and we were surprised to know that our Vet in Queens never saw it. Although we are quite far from this place but have decided now to be their clients for sure.We are Extremely Happy by the professional services provided by Dr. Lachhar and friendly staff member Becky.

I called at 11am on a Saturday morning with an issue with my dog. By 11:45am, we were seen and my dog was treated. Ordinarily my dog can be nervous in new situations, but he was as calm as when we were home. The doctor was friendly and funny. I appreciated the attention he gave my dog and me. Thank you everyone at the Riverhead Animal Hospital.

Dr. Lacchar is not a good doctor. He could not diagnose my cat properly after several visits, x-rays, antibiotics, ALOT OF MONEY and a referral to a specialty surgeon in plainview where he recommended getting a catscan done because he couldnt figure out what my cats issue was. Her issue was ALLERGIES. He also charged me $60 for every visit, $160 for 2 x-rays and then charged me another $25 per x-ray when I needed copies to bring to the new vet. He hung up the phone on me when I tried to ask him for allergy medicine instead of the antiobiotic that didnt work and voiced my reluctance to bring her to a surgeon. The new vet properly diagnosed her with allergy medicine and she has been fine since. Also, the women at the front desk have an attitude when you call to set up appointments. The office is only open 8-12 most days and even though I informed them a couple times about their answering machine message sounding like a preschool when you call, they still run the same message. They all seem very nice when you get there... but they keep reeling you in with follow up visits, mis-diagnosis and then bad referrals to surgeons where I wouldve spent even more money on unnecessary catscans and procedures. Im actually happy that he disrespectfully hung up the phone on me which prompted me to take her to a different vet. I simply asked a few times about not going soo extreme yet, without trying allergy medicine first and he hung up on me! I feel taken advantage of and like my money has been stolen from me with intentional continued misdiagnosis and referral to a specialty surgeon for what turned out to be simple allergies. What kind of Vet cant diagnose allergies properly? Dr. Lacchar at Riverhead animal hospital, thats who.

Dr.Lacchar and his staff are great ! I was there yesterday and Firstly , the practice was very clean, the receptionist greeted me as soon as I walked in and my dog was seen within 10 mn of arriving , which is great ! Dont be misled by the negative reviews, doctors are costly no matter where you go. If you have a crazy dog like mine who isnt good with strangers at all ! Then you can trust them going to this vet , they work with my Kobe and believe me he is not an easy dog to deal with . Ive been here since 2016 with my puggle Coco and I can really say this is my favorite veterinarian office .

I have now used Animal Hospital of Riverhead for vet care, boarding, and grooming. I was satisfied with all of the care my babies received. Dr Lachhar was thorough and knowledgeable and his staff very kind and compassionate. We will continue to use them for all of our pet care needs. I left the groomer to do whatever she thought for my maltipoo and am very happy. He looks very handsome and didn’t seem traumatized as he had been from previous grooming experiences.

Its a very good vet place and really good customer service there and the main doctor. Hes pretty awesome !

I have always been more than happy with the staff and care my cat has gotten from this team. I had one concern during our last visit which required surgery and pick up the same day. I was told to expect a call around 3 oclock for him to be ready. I missed the first call that he was ready to come home by 18 minutes and the second by 15 minutes which was 4 oclock. The answering machine states the hours are till 6 pm. Without checking my voicemail and being only 1.5 minutes away I drove to the animal hospital after seeing that they called to find the office closed. When I listened to my voicemail the second message stated that my cat was going to have to stay the night because the office was now closing. I fault myself for not checking in, however it was devistating to hear that he had to spend the night and arriving only 15 minutes after the last call. I love the doctor and the staff and will continue to get my cats care from Riverhead Animal Hospital, I just wish one more call could have been made or someone and could have stayed a few more minutes in situations like this. The hours of operation are also not consistent with what is posted. Overall as stated before I blame myself for not checking up on the status and would recommend anyone to Riverhead Animal Hospital.

Becky and the WHOLE team are great. They got Mia in at the last minute on a Saturday when they have reduced hours. Dr. Lachhar is super and SO caring and explains everything. The group treats your pet as if it is their own. I had to get Mia checked out because she had a little blood in her stool. The Doctor gave her an X-Ray and blood work and an initial shot and meds to take home as well as a bland dog food from Hills. My Mia is VERY finicky but she scarfed down the food like it was going to run away from her and the pills were mixed in! She normally hates ANY dog food wet or dry. I strongly recommend Dr. Lachhar and the team for your pet!!EDIT: My comments above still stand. This time I decided to try the grooming service provided by Judy at AHR. What a great decision! After getting hits & misses from grooming at Petco (more misses than hits) I went to Judy. She has over 44 years experience in grooming and LOVED my Mia. Gave a great grooming and knew exactly how to handle Mia who at times can be standoffish. Not aggressive, just doesnt like to be handled. I explained that to Judy and because of her experience, she had no issues with Mia! Going to Judy from now on is a no-brainer! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful veterinary practice. Caring and compassionate staff. Top notch veterinarian and veterinary team. Very kind to me and gentle to my cats. Even if you dont live in Riverhead, theyre worth the trip. No need to go elsewhere. Also have boarding and grooming services.

My male cat had an infected bite and needed medical attention. I called in the morning and they took him in immediately. Dr. Lachhar was great and very knowledgeable about the care he needed. The cost was reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

Our pets have had excellent care at the Animal Hospital of Riverhead. We are grateful to Dr. Lachhar and the staff for prolonging the life of our best buddy, Windsor, by a few extra years with monitoring and medication. I have no doubt they all did everything they could for his heart condition. When he passed there was true compassion from all of the staff. He was alway happy to go to see his Doctor or Groomer there. On a few occasions we boarded our animals there and always knew they were in the best of hands. We recently adopted a new puppy and took our KC to see the Doctor to be checked out. We will continue to use our trusted friends at the Animal Hospital of Riverhead for our puppy, KC and rag doll cat, Mocha!

After 14 years with dog #1 now with dog #2Always satisfied. No one has ever been rude, in fact to me they are very friendly and they love my pets. You may not be satisfied with price but I have always been treated fairly.

We love Riverhead Animal Hospital, the staff and doctor Lacchar always treat us and our pets like family. They give great customer service and always make you feel like they are looking out for your pets best interests. Our dog, Harley loves to go visit all of her friends at the office. I cant say enough great things about everyone there!!

It was my first visit and I was as stressed just a little less than my cat. Turns out the place is great, wait time was minimal, and the Doctor was extremely professional. He has taken care of many issues at once and answered all of my silly questions . This will be certainly our to go to veterinarian from now on!

When I went to write a review here, I was shocked at some of the previous reviews and their negativity. I have been going to Dr. Lachhar and staff for over 5 years now and have never, EVER had a bad experience. Before my first visit, I compared prices between Animal Hospital of Riverhead and many other animal hospitals, and Riverheads prices easily won out amongst the rest. Subsequently, Dr. Lachhar gave me a clear cut plan to treating my Dachshund Polly and everything worked out perfectly, just as he outlined.We now take our two dogs here regularly for vaccinations, grooming, and boarding when my family and I go on vacations. Never once had a problem with the prices(which I ALWAYS compare against competitor rates - we all have to be frugal!), the atmosphere, or the bedside manner of the Dr. and staff. If I could give this business 10 stars I would!

I have had my Westie puppy to this Vet at least 4 times & had no results with her pneumonia, he has tried to get me to come in again of course at my cost to resolve the issue , however, I have lost complete faith in Dr. Mandip Lachhar my dog needs extended antibiotic treatment yet he wanted me to keep coming back so he could keep charging me. I am on a limited budget & am not able to afford this kind of Bilking. My puppy is on her way to another vet he never even returned my call.

I was renting a home in East Hampton for the month of August, my dog was vomiting for 5 days and 3 nearby vets only had appointments 5 days away so we called the animal hospital of riverhead and they could see us the same day that I called. The receptionist was pleasant and professional and the vet was kind, professional, and communicated well. Scout got an X-ray and blood work to figure out her ailment. She was given injection of 2 meds to treat her problem and we were sent home with bland food and anti-nausea pills and a pills to soothe her stomach. The treatment worked well and she ate and didn’t vomit overnight. The vet called in the morning with blood test results as promised. He diagnosed her with pancreatitis. He told me his work hours for the next 2 days and said call if any problem and call in 2 days just for an update. The price was reasonable and we were very happy that it went well. It was also during COVID19 pandemic so everyone was masked and socially distant. They have a Walkup window which makes it easy to keep distant.

My dog, Chewy, just loves to go see the doctor and staff. He gets just as excited as if he was going to Petco, lol. The vet and the staff are very kind to him and they seem very knowledgeable. I have also boarded himfor a time under their care and Chewy comes home happy, healthy, with no fleas or kennel cough. I highly recommend them.

Awful place I had an issue with my dog being re home they refused to cooperate with me. I told him that it didnt go the way it was supposed to go legally the dog wasnt mine they told me to mind my business and hung up the phone and will not speak to me I made a police report against this facility as well. Unfortunately Im sick at the time with cold with covid and Im unable to leave the house right now but I would like to speak with the doctor and let him know that his staff is treating me very poorly and I dont know where my dog is. I also boarded him there one point in time and he got very sick from dehydration and end it up with diarrhea. Stay far away from this place

Dr. Lachner is a great veterinarian. My 15 year old dog, Sammie III wouldnt be here today if not for his knowledge. The staff, Connie and Rachel are also superb.

Recently purchased a Doberman puppy who required sutures removed following ear crop and tail dock surgery. Prior to picking up the puppy, on April 17th, I stopped into Riverhead Animal, spoke with Connie, and asked if they would be able to perform the suture removal. I was told by Connie, it was not a problem and the cost would be the price of an office visit, $54.00. We brought our puppy in at the breeder recommended 10 day post opp time for the suture removal. The so called Vet, Mandip Lacchar, advised us the sutures looked like they needed to stay in place longer and since they were non dissolving, the longer they stayed in, the better. Next office visit, same story. So Called Vet, ManDip recommends leave the sutures longer and come back in a week. By the 3rd visit, May 10th, I expressed concern that the sutures had been left in too long, as the skin appeared to be growing over them. This so called Vet cuts the knots on the sutures flush with the skin, (when they should’ve been pulled out by this knot.. so now the stitches are still in, and he cut off the thread needed to pull and remove them)and tells us the sutures are self dissolving, and says they dont need to be pulled out. Not only does this contradict what he originally told us but if this is true, why was I told not once, not twice, but 3 times to come back for the removal, all of which times he injected her with vaccines and charged office visit fees $$$$$$$$$. After leaving the office suspicious my dog was not receiving the proper care I was paying for, I contacted the breeders Veterinarian to confirm whether or not the sutures were dissolvable. After being told the sutures were not dissolvable, and should have been removed over three weeks ago. we contacted Riverhead Animal, advised them they made a mistake, and asked if we could bring her back in. After refusing to wait until the following week, they miraculously found time later in the day. When we arrived, we were greeted by the receptionist who handed us a hand written waiver of liability, written on a sheet of lined paper, like a bill of sale youd receive on an old used car. The sum and substance of the letter was basically that we accept full responsibility for any complications or infection that result from the suture removal. This incompetent Jackass, who is suppose to be a professional, advises us to leave the sutures in and when he realizes he screwed up, expects us to accept the responsibility??? To make matters worse, he laughed in my face, refused to work on our dog, and like a coward, walks away leaving his receptionist to deal with us. Steer clear of this place!! They will take your money, sell you vaccinations, and have you keep coming back in, over and over again just to get another office visit out of your wallet. This place should be shut down. Today, Stella had her sutures removed by a real Veterinarian, with a real education, and a real love for animals, and she was disgusted by what this place did to my pup. Do to the negligence of Riverhead Animal hospital, a simple painless procedure turned into a painful experience for our puppy!!!!!

Dr. Lachhar, Chris and all the staff are compassionate, knowledgeable and calm under pressure. I am forever grateful for the care they gave my boy Bear when he had a horrible accident. They took him in right away and operated on him. Hes alive today because of them. I highly recommend them.

The best and most humanine vat I ever meet. They have the equipment to properly diagnose your pet, including xray machine with fast same day results as you wait. Why go yo another vet without that kind of equipment?

As usual everyone was professional and showed true concern for my dog. Connie, like usual, welcomed my dog, Pita, in a friendly manner and gave her the attention she loves. Dr. L was efficient, caring and gave Pita a through exam.

The doctor is caring and knowledgeable. Very friendly staff. Sadie loves the groomer. Never had a problem. Very organized and very clean.

My wife and I went to Riverhead Animal Hospital with our dog. We found his staff to be very helpful & courteous. Our dog was very sick. Dr. Lachhar really saved our dog Mikeys life. There are many Vets out there today but Dr. Lachhar stands out among them all. Dr. Lachhar is patient and shows so much compassion he treats you like a family member. Charlie doesnt love visits to the vet but the folks at Animal Hospital of Riverhead take such good care of him and make him as comfortable as possible. Dr. Lachhar has a great bedside manner with Charlie.

Dr. Lachhar and his staff are both knowledgable and professional. His assistant treated my beloved friend, Copper, with extreme care while the doctor performed a thorough examination. His recommendations for treatment were based solely on Coppers best interests. In fact, Dr. Lachhar suggested inexpensive, all-natural supplements to treat his arthritis. From my experience, most veterinarians tend to push costly medications without first considering more conservative options. After finishing the examination, Dr. Lachhar told me to call him in a week to check on Coppers improvement. In 15 years, I have never met a veterinarian who was so considerate. Based on this, I would highly recommend the Animal Hospital of Riverhead to anyone searching for quality care from a compassionate doctor and staff.

Dr. Lachhar. Most unethical Professional I have ever dealt with. This is the person who is responsible for the negativity of the Honest Veterinarians out there. He raped me on the bill more than 3 times what was discussed in detail with Sergie on appointment scheduling. I needed to know the rates before the procedures were done. He went ahead without discussing fees and then hands my son a bill for $388.00. More than I could afford . I am on a fixed income and knew what I could spend.When I called the office and politely questioned the bill Dr Lachhar hung up on me. I called back and again he hung up. Be very careful of the low initial visit fee because you will pay for it on the rest of the procedures. Totally UNETHICAL. RE. ENZO/CHRIS

Since last year my little Susie ( silky terrier ) had an ear operation her left ear dont stay up and she constantly gets ear aches it hurts to see her in pain ! riverhead animal never told me that this would happen prior to the operation ! I have brought her back on many occasion for this he must think I am his money machine !

STAY AWAY!!!! If you love your animals stay away does not know what he’s doing, extremely disrespectful and blamed his errors on me. Refused to help my animal with an infection that was caused by his negligence he couldn’t even manage to wrap a split correctly and refused to give me my paperwork of my pet as well as the x rays he over charged me for it I could give a negative star I would

Called and spoke with receptionist and she was extremely rude. I called back the next day to speak to the office manager and was going to tell her about the rudeness of the receptionist but decided it would not do any good since the officer manager was ruder than the receptionist! Who knows how the medicine is. Who cares at this point!!

They take great care with my dog Jay who is starting to go blind she has Diabetes blood and urine checks can get costly been to other vets and the cost was much higher and vet and staff not as friendly, Jay and I are very happy.

I have 2 miniature Schnauzers that are patients at this establishment. One is a Puppy and the other is a 14.5 year old. The doctor and staff are amazing. They treat us like family and really care. To keep this short, I highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital as a primary care for any animals. They are honest, professional and provide a high level of expertise.They deliver excellent veterinary services without ripping you off like others in close proximity.

I have brought my 2 1/2 year old Shi-Poo,Penny, to Riverhead Animal hospital since we adopted her at 4 months old. They are always accommodating to schedule appointments, it’s a clean office and Doc is extremely gentle and caring and gives a thorough exam offering suggestions for me to continue the best care for Penny at home. Doc is funny too. I love this office and their staff is very nice and so good to all of us.
