This place just came up on my first Google search but WOW I was insanely happy with the service there. Anyone who answers the phone is insanely helpful, but Pete was thorough and genuine through the entire buying process. They also help & follow up with how training the dog is going. We haven’t received his birth certificate , but I’ve got the most perfect pup and a great care team!
Im technically against puppy mills but no local shelter would let us adopt because we weren’t US citizens at the time even though we owned property and had good income - goofy as hell reasoning but whatever so we bought a dog here in 2017 and couldn’t be happier. Everyone we interact with was great. Our baby is 7 now and still in great health, we love her so much.
We had the most exceptional experience here at NY Breeder. The staff, Linda at the NY location was extremely pleasant. The owners are very kind and knowledgeable. They really went out of their way to make sure my family was able to get the breed we dreamed of. It was the best experience! Thank you so much for helping us get our new best friend!
My fiancé and I had an exceptional experience here. They were so accommodating and so understanding. We didn’t expect to fall in love with our girl. Linda went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and got what we needed. Couldn’t be happier with this place. We’re so excited to pick up our girl in a couple weeks!
After losing 2 dogs within a year, it took us a bit of time to decide to purchase/adopt another pup. My granddaughter and I visited NYBreeder (for fun) after a birthday shopping spree. Little did we know that we would fall in love with a puppy. Gary took the dog out of his spotless cage, and we played with him for almost an hour. My granddaughter fell in love instantly, as did I. But, it took my husband and I three weeks and three visits to make a decision, and we havent looked back since. This puppy, who was rated healthy and happy by our vet, Dr. Pete Michalek, has been a joy. Playful and darling, this 3 month old puppy follows us everywhere and is super smart. Trained by the incredible and incomparable, Linda, we took him home with complete instructions that have been invaluable. Linda worked tirelessly before and after our purchase to help our pup make a smooth transition. Complete success! Linda is a dog whisperer and a dog parent guru!Pete and Rebecca were also so engaging and helpful, and we cant recommend the staff more!A wonderful, loving experience!!!
I purchased the most adorable Maltepeak puppy from NYC Breeders a few days ago. Linda went over everything I needed to know before I left. She also followed up with phone calls. The staff were very helpful and wonderful. I highly recommend NYC Breeders for all your needs and supplies.
I would HIGHLY recommend buying a puppy from NYC Breeders, I bought the CUTEST red toy poodle. The reason I would recommend this place is because they truly care about the puppies, the entire staff is genuinely caring. Linda is extremely knowledgeable, I flew in from out of state to buy my dog and she honestly told me everything that could’ve went wrong with bringing a baby puppy on the plane opposed to the other places I went, they just wanted a quick buck. I am very grateful and happy with my healthy baby boy. An absolute great experience! They are honest and very trustworthy. Thank you NYC Breeders for my dog!!!
Linda at the White Plains location was very helpful and knowledgeable. She helped us pick out our little girl Riley, a Mini golden doodle. She gave us great advice on how to take care of her when we bring her home and is available for questions and even called us today to see how we are doing.
So I actually got my pup here on July 3, 2019. His name is Archie and he is a golden retriever. Honestly it was the best spontaneous decision I have ever made. He’s a healthy and happy pup.A big thank you to NYC Breeders for giving me the love of my life! They were super helpful and knowledgeable. Even negotiated prices! Wish we lived closer to visit but thank you for my puppy! ❤️🐶
My family and I met our new family member. Linda was very helpful in every steps of the way and getting all the questions answered since Rocky is our first pet. Make sure to have enough time to meet your future best friend. I would recommend NY Breeder.
We had a wonderful experience getting our fur baby! A 10 week old all Black German Shepherd. Annmarie and Pedro were extremely kind, helpful, patient, and walked us through the process step by step; and they were even AMAZING with our 2 year old daughter who of course what OVER EXCITED and running around the store. We’ve had our boy home for almost a week now and could not be more overjoyed and thankful. Our Golden Retriever adjusted immediately and loves him like he is his own baby. Our other German Shepherd however is still trying to figure out what he is and where he came from 🤣.If you’re looking for a puppy go see Annemarie.
Very happy with my goldendoodle- happy to have him home with me with the help of ny breeder. Good staff, helpful!
I bought this spunky little boy about a month ago and he is the cutest and craziest puppy I’ve met! Thanks to Linda for helping me with the process, she made it super easy to understand and help me buy my dream dog.
I was more than happy with my time spent with nyc breeders. I was in there in June to find a new puppy. I went the first day with my wife to just explore the options that they had and I was very happy went back the following week with my daughter and wife and we found a beautiful golden retriever instinly my daughter fell in love and we began the process. went the following week to pick him up and we had a terrible loss in our family my mom,my daughters grandma passed away I was heart broken. When we went to pick him up the staff could Tell something was wrong when we told them the heart felt compassion we received was amazing I went from the worst week to the most amazing day. I would like to thank the whole staff of NYC Breeders for making this possible. I would definitely recommend you going to there facility
Plain and simple, we were absolutely blown away by this place and welcomed our baby boy Monkey into our family on Monday! A beautiful, sweet, smart Pembroke Welsh Corgi!! We walked in here 20 minutes before close on Sunday night and Linda welcomed us with open arms. My girlfriend and I have been on the market for a corgi for months and finally found the perfect baby here. We went into a pen and Linda let us see two corgis in which we found our forever baby. We ended up staying there an hour after they closed and not once felt rushed or pressured to make any decisions. The knowledge, care, love and transparency of NYC Breeders is what dog owning is all about, for real! Linda was beyond thorough and you can see how much she loves and cares about where all these babies end up. We put a down payment on our boy and picked him up Monday night, where we were continued to be treated like family here. I have owned dogs for 25+ years and this place is everything a pet owner wants to see, truly above and beyond in every aspect. All of the dogs looked so happy, healthy, and content and I have been to many places where this is not the case. Not to mention, the facility is super clean and sanitary and they are monitoring these pups so well. Linda spent an hour going over our babys health records, we received 5 years of Breeder inspections and all of the Breeder information which is HUGE. Health records and health history which is super important, too. I have seen people complain about prices but if you want to own a dog that is healthy and comes from a good place and background, it is always worth a bit more. People also fail to mention that this price includes lifetime of training and emotional support, all his shots up to date, he was neutered already, and a first free vet appointment which balances out all of your initials costs!Next, Bella spent an hour giving us a crash course on how to acclimate our little guy into his new environment and a training session and he is doing AMAZING thanks to her help. She is awesome at what she does and without her guidance I think we would have been a bit of a wreck. He is peeing and pooping on his little pads, eating like a champ, and cries just a bit but really has been sleeping through the entire night. His crying is just him wanting more attention which will never bother me lol. You can tell this boy has been well cared for during his stay at NYC Breeders. Once again, everyone stayed an hour after close to not rush this process. Bella and Linda, you both rock thank you for everything and thank you for loving all the pups you bring into your facility, we as pet lovers, LOVE to see this. We are blessed we found this place and these incredible people. I will recommend this place a million times over, we will definitely be back so you can see our little Monkey grow up! Thank you all again for not only our little son, but such an amazing experience through it all, we could not be more grateful for you all!
This place is amazing. I got both of my dogs from here, a German shepherd and a dachshund. Linda is incredible at her job and I still shop there for treats and dog food. You will not find a more attentive and informed team of people.
Everyone was so nice and respectful. Linda is the best , she answered my million questions I had before I even got there. She made sure we had all the information we needed on our beautiful puppy. Definitely recommend coming here for a puppy. They also have everything you need for the puppy on site. Best prices ! Ask for Linda ☺️
I got a puppy yesterday for my mom and she was so happy. I am very happy I got him from this place. Linda was very sweet and helped me to find everything I needed.
We got our little boy few days ago and could not be happier 💕 Thank you!Linda and her team are amazing at what they do! I loved that we got full breakdown of puppy’s schedule, training and step by step on how to move forward and raise a very good boy. He is 10 weeks, but already has a routine! All we have to do is just not mess up what was already installed in him. We have complete support from NYC Breeders team - any questions are answered and emotional support provided!Puppy is not a toy! This is a live soul that will be completely dependent on you from the moment you sign the contract. It’s good to be on the same page with people who are facilitating this for you, I think it’s important! Some reviews said that puppy is too expensive and you can get one for less. I think the price is validated by the amount of information and support you receive from NYC Breeders (paperwork, chip, vet recommendation, vaccinations and training). I hope that the price also filters out people who get a puppy as a trend and not a lifetime companion. We are ecstatic with our experience so far!
Brought home the most lovable and playful pomsky, she could not have been a better match. Big thanks to the staff at NYC Breeders for their knowledge and patience as we got to know her more. They provided all the information necessary to take care of her and made sure we were the right fit for the dog. 10/10 would recommend :)
One of the best places to buy a dog. Linda was very helpful, she gave us a 2 hour talk about training the dog and if we needed any more tips on training she said to call her at anytime! In the future I will definitely be looking forward to buying another dog from here.
Five out of five! I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Linda for helping us find our adorable Maltipoo! 🐶💕 We couldnt be happier with our new furry family member, and its all thanks to Lindas expertise and guidance. She was so helpful throughout the entire process, taking the time to understand our preferences and matching us with the perfect pup. Were truly grateful for her assistance and highly recommend her if youre looking to add a furry friend to your family. Thanks again, Linda! 🙌😊
We had to find a puppy for my aunt. There was a nice selection of well cared for and friendly puppies. Rebeca was our primary sales person. She was kind and knowledgeable. She let us spend time alone with an adorable cavapoo that we quickly fell for. The training that Rebeca gave prior to leaving is very helpful. We could not be more pleased.
We love our Blue Merle Chi !Thank you so much! You will be seeing us again for visits/shopping.To anyone reading this, they always have the cutest puppies who are well taken care of.Linda and Bella are great-patient, understanding, caring and knowledgeable.I have already recommended this place to a friend. Thanks again!See you soon.
NY Breeder on Tarrytown Road in White Plains, NY is amazing! We were searching and searching for our new puppy and there he was at NY Breeder! Our new guy, a mini-Sheepadoodle, is beautiful, adorable, and just who we were looking for. The NY Breeder staff are all amazing, especially Linda, with her abundance of knowledge related to our new puppy. She spent a good amount of time educating us in all we needed to do, and what we needed to know, before bringing our little guy home. She was spot on in all she told us. Thats the place to go if you are searching for your new pet!
Bella, Linda, and Pete were so helpful with the process. We went in with our youngest of three to see how she would behave. We were able to sit with the dogs and just like that we ended up choosing our April Apple cotonpoo. The training and buying process was incredibly thorough and easy and the prices for the pet supplies were incredibly low compared to big name retailers. Knowing that they are open 365 days a year is also a great comfort.
The smell walking into this place was absolutely horrendous. My husband immediately had to leave because the smell was too overwhelming. The kittens litter box was piled to the top with feces that it was practically overflowing. They obviously don’t take care of their animals here. When we were looking at the kittens my 3 year old son put his hand over his nose and wanted to leave.
Adopting a dog can be a daunting task. We were so worried about making sure we bought from a reputable location, and we wanted to make sure our puppy would be in good health. NYC Breeders gave us peace of mind on both accounts, with detailed information on the breeder our pup came from and thorough, up-to-date veterinary records. He was already chipped, neutered, and vaccinated, and our first vet appointment was on the house. Our little Gambit was the picture of health when he left the store and he continues to be as a beloved new member of our family. If there are any questions, concerns--or if youd just like some tips on raising your pooch--NYC Breeders is very knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure new owners are confidant when they leave the store.
We adopted our Dachsund about 3 weeks ago and she’s been amazing. We were so grateful to Bella and Linda for their training tips and advice. Bella was kind enough to share some training advice with me by phone a week after we brought the pup home. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because several staffers were not wearing masks, which made us uncomfortable as we ended up spending 2+ hours in the store with paperwork, training etc. I was wary of adopting from a pet store but our experience was good and the dog is a loving member of the family now!
The service at NYC Breeders was phenomenal from the initial phone call I made until they day after we took our little munchkin home! I initially called looking for two specific breeds of dogs in which Pete let me know that both were available. He gave me the birthdates of both pups, and let me know I was free to stop by anytime. My mom and I immediately made out way to the shop in which Pete was at the desk ready to show us the two breeds we asked for. The shop is SPOTLESS! & the puppies all looked super healthy, happy and alert! We came in for a Boston terrier or French bulldog but ended up falling in absolute love with a beagle puppy we have named Bella! Before leaving, Pete went through all of Bellas paperwork with us, as well as a few training and puppy care tips. Bella got her nails clipped and was freshened up before we took her to her forever home. Pete and his coworker (I wasnt able to get her name but she was equally as helpful and kind) were so nice to work with. Honestly one of the best experiences at a pet shop Ive had! I usually dont leave reviews, but for this place, I just felt I had to. You wont leave this place feeling like you have to figure it out on your own. If youre looking to bring home a new fur baby, definitely consider stopping at NYC Breeders!
NYC breeders are great. I bought my Pomeranian baby here, and he is adorable, sweet, and healthy. They told me anything I needed, and I think they really know how to take care of their animals. Their service is really thoughtful and helpful. I highly recommend the place if you want to get a puppy in the city.
NYC Breeders have been amazing! We got our little Pomeranian puppy on Wednesday, and they’ve patiently and compassionately taken all of our calls and questions ever since, guiding us on exactly what we need to do to crate train (which is a lot more tricky than I thought). Before we left with him, they gave him a grooming while one of their trainers gave us a crash course on how to set little Toby up for success. We very much appreciate that his breeder is a Kennel Club approved breeder, and they provided all of their information with his documentation. NYC Breeders truly love their puppies and I think one of the groomers even shed a little tear when we took Toby home. Absolutely everyone we’ve dealt with has been amazing. I simply can’t recommend them higher. What a wonderful business! Highly recommended!
I only have Peanut 3 days and I am in love . Linda and Bella were so patient , knowledgeable and kind. I never had such a thorough purchasing of a dog experience and I’ve had 4 previously. I was so sad when I came in because I had just put my 8 year old Chihuahua Caramel to sleep the night before . It was sudden and unexpected . Both Linda and Bella were so sincerely empathetic and made me feel I had come to the right place….it was my final stop ..I had been all over Brooklyn all day. Today I took Peanut to my own vet for the first time . I was thinking if Peanut was the right name and feeling guilty about getting her so soon after losing Caramel. I had to wait outside due to Covid and I was walking back and forth to stay warm. Out of nowhere I looked down on the sidewalk and in the leftover snow I found a peanut. Thank you G-d . Thank you Caramel for our time together . Thank you Bella and Linda for bringing Peanut and I together . I would recommend NYC BREEDERS with all my heart❤️
Purchased my French bulldog from this pet store about 2 years ago .... Was very pleased with the Lisa and the rest of the team .... They were very knowledgeable of the breed I wanted and showed me all kind of training technics for my stubborn new baby.... Another bonus was the free veterinary care that I got thru purchasing a pet with them..Plus a full biological dog history, Parents, sibling etc.I would definitely recommend purchasing thru NYC breeders..... We are happy
I bought my dog here 3 months ago , I was so in love with everything, I wanted to have this place for my dog foods, for all the things that he needs, including his groomers but I have to update my review. I went for a grooming today, I have to add that I made an appointment for last Monday and they cancelled it but for a mistake with my phone number (they wrote bad my number) we weren’t notified at time, so my husband arrives and had to make another appointment, for today ( Saturday), it was supposed to be at 4:30 but at 12:30 pm they called us to say that the groomer needed to go earlier for an emergency, ok, we went earlier (1 pm) and guess what? They shorn our dog. And we asked for the same cut that he had last time ( super cute one btw) but I guess the groomer had not time and decided to just take all the hair of my dog without even ask.I’m so disappointed, because if you don’t have the time, just said it, and I’ll probably make another appointment or just take my dog to another groomer. I may be so upset thanks to my high expectations but I always appreciate honesty and clear communication. I will not take my dog to that place anymore and it’s really sad. I’m crying seeing my dog looking him to the mirror and crying.
My experience with NY Breeders was excellent. I brought a maltipoo from Linda, who recommended the puppy I purchased and I could not be happier. I cant imagine a better fit. They are a fountain of knowledge and are readily accessible should you have any questions. This has been a life changing event for me which I did not see coming. I am forever grateful to them. This is the 3rd puppy I brought there, they have top quality puppies. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a top of the line pup. Thank you Linda!!!!
We got our beautiful baby Daisy here and were so happy! Pedro helped us along the way and explained everything on how to train her and make her feel comfortable at home. Our friends also bought a Shih Tzu here so we were confident in our purchase. Thanks NY Breeder!
Got my Fur baby from here yesterday, the staff is very well trained, kind caring for both customer and our babies. I couldnt be happier with my purchase. I cant wait to give my fur baby the best life....
Linda, Bella, and Pete have been incredibly helpful! Right off the bat, Pete carefully explained how each breeds differ, allowing us to decide which puppy suits us the best. Then, Bella gave us a thorough training plan for our new puppy. As new puppy parents, we really struggled at first, but these three were always ready to advise us over the phone. Linda was even available to speak during Hurricane Henri! This really shows their care for the puppies, and we are so glad to have brought our baby girl from NYC Breeders!
A very busy location but worth the time invested. The team overall are very organized and on task with maintenance and customer service. The store is well kept and the kennels are attnded to consistently. I would only say that if you plan on financing your pet, to make sure you have all over banking information available and up to date so the process goes smoothly.
Linda and her team were fantastic! We were first time parents looking for a doodle. She let us take our time and really make sure we were ready. When we made our decision, she made sure that our girl was 100% ready to go before she sent her home with us. She told us how to set up her pen at home and gave us the advice for training that we needed. We love our mini goldendoodle so much and highly recommend Linda and her team!
We got our cava shih tzu from nyc breeders and we couldn’t be more happier. linda was so kind and answered all of our questions whenever we needed great place to meet your pup for life
Informative , high quality pet store . Pete was our point of contact who guided us through the process of a pet purchase with knowledge and patience .
I was searching for an English bulldog , I reached out to NY BREEDER as I wasted two hours at Westchester Puppies and Kitties attempting to get a bulldog. After waiting such time (2 hours) at westchester puppies and kitties they did not accept my form of payment (AMEX) and forgot to mention such upon my decision to getting the dog. I drove to NY breeder and from the min I walked in I was treated like family, the place is sparkling clean and the customer service is honestly top of the line …Linda is lovely and extremely knowledgeable as well as everyone working the reception!! I ended up purchasing my bundle of joy (English bulldog) and they provided educational training and guidance to make our first few weeks exceptional. It def has been working!HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!!
I was at the Auto Zone next door taking care of my car and I saw this new puppy store so I decided to take a look inside to kill some time. I instantly locked eyes with a beautiful Frenchie and the rest was history. I worked with Christian and Pete who were very informative when it came to the breed and they gave me FREE TRAINING FOR LIFE! I’m very pleased to have brought home the newest member of my family and when it’s time for Roscoe to have a sibling I absolutely will come back here.
I bought my Doggo Argentina about three years ago. He came almost fully trained. I really didn’t have to do much with him and he is so obedient and just the best dog ever. The owner did a good job of training him before we brought him home.
I got my Cockapoo (ivy) from this place! She was well maintained and happy. The staff are very kind to the customers! We had the employee named Linda, she was kind and helped us pick the right dog for us! I highly recommend this place to buy your pets! Amazing service and wonderful people! - The Diaz family
I recently purchased a corgi puppy from NYC Breeders on sunday 4th of july and let me start off by saying that this establishment was the most respectful kind helping and overall amazing experience ive ever had purchasing a puppy. They took the time of explaining everything i need to know answering every question i had the entire visit and making the process as exciting and seem less as possible. They even tought me some tips and tricks for early stage training once i took my little guy home but then proceeded to answering my email a day later and continued to help me while i was home, this is a clear indication that there not in this business for the money there in this for the love of finding these pups the correct home and the most loving home possible.10/10 would recommend this lovely establishment to everyone i know wanting to purchase a puppy of there own.
Visited this place today to look for a dog for my daughter. The place is clean and friendly staff. However, the prices for their dogs are expensive. The dog i was inquiring cost $1800!!!! I tried to get approve for financing but was denied. So either you get approve or pay almost $2000 for a dog. They have puppies to medium size dogs available, they have akitas, german shepards and pooples from what i saw. They sell dog supplies as well...leashes, shampoos and bowls.
We had the most amazing experience getting our new miniature poodle here. They’ve been helpful every step of the way in contact with us to make sure everything is going well. I would absolutely recommend.
I had an awesome experience with NYC Breeders. They worked with me so well in trying to find the right pup. They are very knowledgeable of their pups and the breeders in which they get them from. They are organized and clean my new puppy was loved here and very well taken care of. They sell all the products you would need for you new puppy in store. I would recommend them and I will in the future go back and get another puppy from them. Shoutout to Linda, she was great!
This has to be hands down the best breeder I have ever been to. Linda is an amazing person. She has gone above and beyond. This breeder gives you the personal touch if you are looking for your forever puppy . Look no further than NY breeder . To top it off, this breeder is immaculate and they keep all of the puppies safe. They love each and every one of their little babies and it shows. It speaks volume why NY breeder has been in business for so long .
Loved this place such cute puppies!! Linda was awesome and she handled my family and I quick! Ended up getting this handsome guy
I had the best experience with NY Breeder and was able to find the perfect puppy for my family and I. Every single employee was kind, compassionate and helpful. My family and I are so thankful for NY Breeders as they have allowed us to start a new journey with a beautiful puppy after losing our dog of 16 years. Thank you NY Breeders for everything and especially for the care you give to animals.
I got the dog I wanted they were very helpful in the process on owning my pet Friendly staff , I was disappointed with the Veterinarian they recommended .The veterinarian clinic front desk are nasty . Next time will go directly to the breeder .Respond : The puppy store recomend a Veterinarian buyer should trust service is proffesional. My Advice do not go the Veterinarian they recommended. 2 free visits is not worth it .
I by far had the best experience! Pete was amazing with helping me pick my furbaby! If I can give the place 10 stars, I would. But they definitely got my business, and would highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience at the Westchester Location. Linda and the team at NY Breeder helped us find our Dachshund with a fantastic result, providing the tools and expert knowledge needed to successfully manage the early days of dog ownership. 5 stars!
I’ve been to this store when I was looking for a puppy to buy - it is super clean and well managed. The puppies look super happy and playful - you can even ask to spend 1:1 time with any puppies that you’re interested in! Isabella was super sweet and highly informative. She thoroughly explained to me the process of puppyhood, and she gave awesome advice. I highly recommend her for any future puppy purchases! I love how passionate the staff is, and I now have an amazing dog thanks to them!
We are super happy and grateful for toy poodle Apricot we got about a month ago! Apricot is smart and very kind! Our experience with this store was perfect. I never had a dog so Peter explained all steps we need to do and not to do. Gave us perfect set of supplies and instructions and asked to call back with any questions. Thank you for bringing happiness to our home!
Our experience was very nice!!!!Thank you Rebecca so much for helping us add a new member to our family!!!Our Chloe is so happy!!!!
Linda was amazing when we were picking out a dog. Helped us with size, allergies, we got to sit with two amazing dogs. We wound up purchasing a maltipoo! We can not wait to bring our little guy home!
This is my second dog that I’ve bought from NYC breeders and the experience and staff there are great. Linda was a great help and Alycia does a phenomenal job washing and cutting their hair. I recommend if you are interested in buying a pup to come here, there’s a great selection of dogs and the staff are well educated and could answer any questions that you may have. 10/10 :)
Last week me and my family got our new puppy. He is a Miniature Australian Shepherd. Everyone there were so nice, kind, and informative. They gave us good training and tips. You can call them at any time and ask any questions you might need. Ask for Linda she’s amazing and also everyone else there were very helpful. The place is spotless. It was a wonderful experience for us. I would highly recommend getting your new puppy at NYC Breeders for a new happy edition to your family! -Yours Truly, The Hagen Family! 😌❤️🐶👍🏻
Cant say enough about NYC Breeders... Linda and Bella were so passionate, patient and very Knowledgeable. We absolutely LOVE our new Cavachon ❤. Its been 4 months and we can still walk in with any concern or question and they give me just as much attention as the day we purchased. Im very happy with the way the store is ran and even happier with our new pup!!!
We got a teddy bear puppy from them back in March and he’s the happiest and healthiest puppy we’ve ever met. We had a great experience when we went to visit the store and played with a few puppies and everyone at the store was super helpful, not pushy and you can tell they really take care of their dogs and want them to go to good owners. He had all of his shots and vet records and our vet we brought him to after adoption commented on how healthy he was. He is living a very spoiled life now 😇 highly recommend finding your new family member here!
We love Cosmo!! NYC breeders team was amazing, very knowledgeable and helpful! Thank you for this little bundle of joy
Would absolutely recommend NYC Breeders to anyone!! Had a wonderful experience here picking up our baby pup!! The staff have been extremely helpful from the first time we walked in, to answering all our questions, walking us through the process and even calling to check in after we took our baby home!! They take great care of the pups, and they really care!! Thank you!!!
An experience this place is, Im glad I called before going because I needed an appointment to enter. Once I got there, seeing the puppies playing, with their toys and each other, I was like a kid in a candy store.I was greeted and serviced promptly upon entering. The store was clean, consultants were lovely and knowledgeable on all their pups. They answered all my questions and gave me extra things to consider when choosing my pup. As a first time pet owner I had many questions and I appreciate their patience with me lol.I love their sanitation procedures for puppy viewings. All the staff had masks on, my hands were sanitized before and after meeting with the pups, and the kennel staff cleaned the showroom for each puppy visit. The puppy I purchased is in excellent health and I will for sure take advantage of the free training.5 stars if the price wasnt so high but were in the middle of a pandemic so I cant be mad.Thank you NY Breeder!
Staff is very rude unwilling to show pictures of dogs they say they have although on the website they wont show pictures of any pomeranian. I simply asked can you email or text pictures email ...I was told to drive the two hours to see if they have what i want. Its like pulling teeth...
Picked up my baby (Beagle) yesterday & the entire experience with this team was a pleasure. Linda and Bella were super friendly, and so so helpful. I had to wait until my pup was altered to pick her up, and they kept me updated throughout the whole process. When I picked her up, they made sure to advise me on puppy training, providing me with the extra knowledge I needed. They also showed me a variety of essentials they thought my pup would like to go home with. Their expertise and professionalism are reasons I would be a repeat customer. Thanks again for the wonderful experience and I have confidence that I can count on them for future advice if needed! They are not just there to sell, they care for their dogs and future pet-parents.- Cheri
We got a beautiful dachshund here over a year ago and we decided to come back to get a sibling for our fur baby. We have not been disappointed! Service is always excellent and we are beyond excited to start a new journey with our little one!
We went here over the weekend and brought home the cutest Pomsky Poodle puppy. Linda helped us with any questions related to our puppy and we could tell that she was oozing love for the pup. Bella helped us with questions about crate training and what items would be best for us to get for the pup. We could tell that they truly care and love their pups which is an amazing thing. They also wanted to make sure that they answer any questions we had so that were prepared to bring the pup home. 10/10 highly recommend this place!
I was shocked to see this place lied to me about my puppy being FULLY vaccinated. The veterinarian I went to see told me he wasnt plus he had an ear infection. Plus the day I went to pick up my puppy they tell me last minute the only health issue he had was this cough. Well it came back and the vet prescribed me an antibiotic for him. I think its fair for me to write this review because the puppy was overpriced and they KNEW he was sick. Im happy to have my puppy with me today because I got him out of a place where the staff dont eventually take care of the animals here.
This place is amazing. I got our beautiful toy poodle form them. the gentleman who works the front was very knowledge and helpful through the entire purchase. I did not go there thinking we would be coming home with a puppy. But our boy is super healthy and an amazing addition to the family. I would recommend NY Breeder to all !
I fell in love with this place from the get-go! They have everything you need to get started as a puppy owner. The selection was superb, the care and quality was the best, the staff expertise was phenomenal. We want to thank our new friends at NYC Breeders because they made us feel prepared and heard. I recommend this place to all my friends and family without missing a heartbeat.Thank you thank you!!
Good place and people. Puppies are in great condition, would recommend! Gary and Pedro were very helpful throughout the way
My husband and I recently purchased a puppy at NYC Breeders. Everyone working there makes the environment inviting and accommodating even considering that we made no appointment. The store is very clean and organized, they are making it their priority to keep up with all Covid-19 safety protocols. The puppy process runs smoothly and every employee there really cares for the customers experience and most importantly the puppies happiness. They help you pick out items you will need to ensure you will be a prepared puppy parent, as well as giving you a training course. Linda made sure to go over all the information about our puppy and she answered all of our questions we asked. Every employee working there really loves what they do and it shows in how happy the puppies are and how happy we are with our experience at NYC Breeders.
I want to thank the start of NY Breeder for helping me sort out which breed was right for me. They took the time to listen to my needs and we came up with a Cockapoo puppy. She is perfect if every way. With the help of the free training my dog was trained within a week. Thank you so much
I’ve only had great experiences at NYC Breeders. I went in inquiring about puppies and also cat toys and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was helped by Linda for most of my visits there and she went out of her way each time to help me. She knew about each and every puppy and kept me informed on new puppies that were coming into the store. I highly recommend this store!
NYC Breeders is the best place to find a loving new edition to your family. We purchased 2 Havanese puppies and the process was an amazing experience. Linda and Bella were extremely patient and had so much knowledge on the puppies, their background and methods of training. They are both so pleasant and made us feel welcomed. They allowed us to take our time to find the perfect set of pups for our family. Once done, we were allowed to visit them as often as needed so that we can bond. The family training class given by Bella was so informative and thorough. Linda’s knowledge on breeds, licensing, pet vaccines and pet care was exceptional. NYC Breeders has made us happy. They are definitely the best!!
I picked up my Victorian bulldog and we are soo happy...The staff is so professional and on point you can see how much they really care about their puppies. The trainer Bella was so sweet and was very well informed, the groomers where the nicest woman you could meet. The store is so clean, and they called to check in on how her first night went. I Definitely recommend this store.
I got a corgi here. Its been a great experience overall from start to finish. Before I left the store I had everything I needed for him. I got training tips before I left with him, my puppy was wee pad trained in 2 days. If youre a new pet owner, getting a puppy from here will help making care and training easier for you. The free vet visit which is included in the purchase of a puppy is a great thing I dont see other places do.
Wow..unbelievable customer service. I bought the most adorable Cavapoo from NY Breeder last weekend. When I walked into the store I was very upset about the impact COVID-19 has caused. I immediately was greeted by the whole staff. The staff was right to the point. Everyone came by the room to watch me and the puppies play. I got to meet both managers as well, both very professional. I felt like they enjoyed what they were doing and you could tell they loved the puppies as well with kisses and hugs. After I fell in love with my little Bella (i named her Bella because she is just absolutely beautiful!) We did paperwork and an starter training session and we were starting our new lives together. If your looking for kind staff and a clean store this is the place to go. Thank you NY Breeder for my new baby girl! I will be back for the free training!
Just had the best experience ever getting a puppy. Linda was beyond patient, and she is extremely knowledgeable. First and foremost, she works to ensure she gets the right fit for each puppy, and client, and takes the time to educate new puppy parents.
Linda and Pete are the most special people in the world. They are so helpful and always make sure to train the pups for as long as they live! The prices are very well-priced and the staff is more than welcoming at all hours. It was such a pleasure having them care for my little pup like their own!!!
NY breeder is the best! Got our precious puppy two weeks ago and Patty helped us through the whole process. She was so patient with us and our kids, answered all of our questions and helped us pick out everything that we needed for our new puppy. Really amazing experience!
- just a follow up 6 months later -little guy still has an occasional cough that lingers from time to time since his diagnosis of kennel cough when I first bought him . Definitely do your research before buying a puppy in the moment here or anywhere based off of its adorable looks. His price tag of 4,000$+ was blatantly an overcharge . However - I didn’t realize how much so until I looked up the cost of these dogs after purchasing him.NO chi weenie is priced anywhere close to what I paid . I’ve looked continuously. Markups at pet stores are to be expected but I feel willingly robbed . He’s also NOT as small as they said he would be and quite frankly just a scruffy little man. Over all - no I would not recommend this place for the reasons stated here .
I went here to start looking for a puppy 🐶. The staff is very knowledgeable and wanted to match a dog to my lifestyle. Linda took her time with me as a first time dog owner , explaining everything I needed to know about taking care of a dog. I left with a puppy , and more importantly. They called to check up on him , to make sure he was flourishing . I have also called a few times for questions about caring for him . They always have time to answer all my questions . I still go there for all his food and they give a nice 10% off. He went for his first grooming there also. I can’t be happier with the service and actual care they give you as an owner .
NYC Breeders thank you for my daughters’ early bday/graduation gift. We welcomed a baby boy to our family, he’s an adorable Toy Poodle. Linda and George are the best, definitely check them out.
I came to this place to get my son a puppy so he can have a little friend to play with, unfortunately he end up being afraid of pups and we left empty handed, but I could literally give this place 6 stars, the puppies are beautiful, like really cute good looking, u know how the same breed can have different looking dogs, so they have actually cute pups. Bella was really helpful and welcoming, she was trying her best to help my boy not being afraid of the pup and try to play with it. I was upset we didn’t buy any, but maybe wait few more years. Also about the price, yea they are a bit pricey, but honestly since the pandemic started the prices on pets went up everywhere, unfortunately, that makes me sad, but it’s not only about this shop, and not only about pets. I went to Coney Island Luna park recently and I spent so much money like I was in Monte Carlo, seriously, businesses are just trying to survive during these harsh times. Stay safe and healthy everyone!
Such a great experience, everyone was supper helpful. The process of getting a dog wasn’t too long, it went pretty smooth which was amazing. We got the puppy the same day as well, it was exciting. It was my first time buying a puppy here and I would highly recommend someone coming to the NY Breeder.
I had an amazing experience! Especially because my first dog was purchased at this location and of course it was my dream dog! They had a German Shepard and I jumped with joy when I first met him. The staff was definitely helpful and had all the answers to my questions. Thank you so much for all your help! You guys are great!
I recently purchased 2 teddy bear puppies from this place and it was a great experience. They are reliable and reputable. The staff here is great and very informative and helpful. A special thank you to Bella, one of the staff members who gave us good training tips and helped us get everything we need to bring our puppies home.
I didnt end up getting a puppy here because I didnt fall in love with any, but I learned a lot being there, and I loved how the puppies all looked happy and healthy. The lady there was not pushy and she was giving us some tips on how to choose. They even offer payment plans if you can pay in full. I just didnt see what I wanted, but I would trust to get a puppy here. They even offer free training!
Great place, great staff. Pete was knowledgeable and informative. The entire process went by smoothly. Our dog Chanson the mini schnauzer is a well needed addition for our family and NYC BREEDERS helped us achieve that.
Had a wonderful experience. We got our amazing mini poodle and he fits perfectly in our home. Thank you so much for helping us out. I highly recommend NYBreeder. They are very thorough about everything!
Forgot to send this review the day of purchase, however its a good time to post now, as itll explain some things this place does, going against what people have said before.I bought my pup (Golden Retriever) on Wednesday 9/7 and during the car ride, she had a small cough, nasal discharge, and conjunctivitis from both eyes. This should be expected when buying from any pet store, as having many animals in one location breeds infections. She also was breathing very rapidly, which we figured was from anxiety of the change. However, my pups symptoms got worse over the next 24 hours and we had to take her to an ER, since we could not get a vet appointment sooner, and her vitals were dropping. My wife has worked in the field for years and still does, so we definitely did not make a rapid emotional decision to take her there, as ER visits would always be a last resort. The ER then diagnosed her with severe pneumonia that possibly developed from a URI (Upper Respiratory Infection), and it was highly recommended the pup be watched and treated for 24hours overnight. The ER Vet also stated and documented, that itd be high risk to not do treatment now to wait for a Vet visit.Knowing this and that a URI or Pneumonia isnt something that happens overnight, I called the breeder to let them know the situation.I will say, the manager/Gary was hesitant, and questioned everything at first, as he should, but from reading these other 1 star comments about the management being rude or not willing to help in some type of way, I have not experienced that so far. Gary was not disrespectful and we came to a solution pretty quick and he even clarified multiple times that they would be willing to help reimburse any ER fees related to the illness up to the pups total purchase price, including taxes, aslong as I sent them all documentation from the visit. As a just in case, I even reiterated this entire situation to one of my attorneys, who stated this is a legit option according to the law anyway. So it seems so far, Ny Breeder does their business legitimately, and I have had no issues yet, especially noting this circumstance. As far as the purchasing process and the business itself, I have no major complaints. Everyone was nice, knowledgeable, and helped me with what ever I needed. This circumstance and the end outcome will just solidify that their customer service is great and fair.I will be updating this review once everything is settled.UPDATE:In less than a week from my visit at the ER, NY Breeder was updated and gave all documents. Within this same timeframe, I recieved what I paid the hospital, in full from them as reimbursement without any issues. Thank you guys!
We came in just to look around and ended up leaving with the cutest cockapoo. I was a little skeptical due to the reviews. But I am so happy I decided to check it out. The staff greeted us right away. Pedro, the associate that helped us, was very helpful. He explained everything in great detail. Definitely recommend purchasing a puppy/dog from here.
I really enjoyed my experience here! They were super friendly and helped me understand everything I need to be prepared to get a dog! I feel like theyre very caring and passionate about making sure the puppies end up in the right home. They tell you the proper ways to train the puppies to ensure they feel safe in their new home.
I came to this store a few weeks ago to purchase a miniature schnauzer. The counter person Christian was extremely helpful. I didnt see where they was money hungry and the place was very clean, you have dog odor but hey its a pet store. The puppy purchased did have parasites but following their warranty agreement we went to the veterinarian they recommended immediately and was not charged for any medication that was given for her. We also went to a secondary veterinarian where she was given a clean bill of health minus the parasite issue that I have been told is common in puppies. You can also come in and receive lifetime training which I plan on taking advantage of.
My husband and I went in there for one corgi puppy and walked out with two!!! The staff there are absolutely amazing and caring people. We have owned dogs before but the details they go into with the training class are extremely helpful and we enjoyed every moment of it. I highly recommend this place so much that we traveled from Pennsylvania just to get our puppies
Puppy is absolutely terrific. Good training session. Pushed unnecessary additional costly items. Said first vet visit was free, cost over $300.
I recently lost my dog and came to NY Breeders to get a new one. Robin greeted me at the door and helped us through the whole process of selecting a new one. The whole staff was very compassionate and very informative. Their dogs are very well taken care of and we selected a happy yorkipoo puppy. It’s difficult process choosing a dog and a breeder that you can trust. I would definitely recommend them and will probably be back soon for another puppy!
Please be cautious purchasing from this store! I recently bought a very overpriced puppy for my daughter for graduation since I couldnt find the breed she wanted anywhere from a local breeder. At her first vet visit a few days later she tested positive for Giardia (parasites) and we started treatment. A few days later she started with a barking cough and after a midnight visit to an emergency vet, she was diagnosed with kennel cough. She is only 11 weeks old and really struggling right now. Im extremely unhappy with my experience.
We had such a good experience at NY Breeder! Linda, Christian and the whole team are so helpful and patient. Thanks to NY Breeder we found the best pup we could ever imagine! Our little poodle is the cutest puppy and she is so happy and healthy! We highly recommend NY Breeder, they are so knowledgeable and truly care about their puppies.
Please DO NOT BUY from this store! We bought our boxer pup from here in April. They represented that they knew where she came from and that she was in great health. They also said we had recourse in case of a congenital issue. However, what they did not say (of course) is that some issues are very hard to definitively diagnose as congenital within the first year. That gives them an out which theyre definitely aware of. Meanwhile, from the first week we took our pup home, shes been in and out of Verg and Blue Pearl in Brooklyn, Atlantic Veterinary Hospital in Farmingdale, and various local vets. She has inexplicably recurring aspiration pneumonia, which causes her to hack, regurgitate, and have nasal discharge. Weve done numerous tests including blood, urine, baermann, endotracheal wash, immunoglobulin tests, and so many x-rays, Ive lost count. Naturally, I reached out to the store, and the manager who I suspect is also the owner, simply stated the contract says were not liable. She did say that she would have her own vet look at the reports. So I emailed her and followed up after a while. I got complete silence.Ive had better service from car dealers. Please understand, Im not posting this for sympathy. The impact on our quality of life has been tremendous. Our pup who just turned 1, can barely play without getting sick. And we did not contact the store to return her. After seeing the impact on us, to an extent that its impacted one of our jobs so we can take care of our pup, I would hate for anyone else out there to go through the same. We love our dog, and were going to take care of her. But the financial, emotional, and physical burden of this, has been crazy. If you choose to disregard this review and proceed to buy your pup from this store, please make sure you get good representation. Good luck!
I love NYC Breeders! My son and I got our Doxie from there. The staff is great. Linda and Bella are experts and provide great advice for all breeds of dogs. They also give you training before you leave so you know how to create a great relationship with your pupp. They have rooms that you can spend time any puppy to see how well you get along. We found our match this way. Izzy is the best dog ever. We’re so happy we chose NYC Breeders. We highly recommend them if you’re looking to add to your family.
In this place we got a Puppy for our daughter!!!Amazing place! 👏Bella! -thank you so much for your help with all paper work! Extremely clear explanation of how to take care our new family member! We learn a lot of important information during the training! So the process of adoption will go smoothly 😊
We found our baby River (chihuahua) here 2 days ago and we’re so happy. Everyone was so knowledgeable, helpful and kind. We got a folder with all the information we needed to know, his vaccinations, vet recommendations, and even his breeder. They let us play with him before deciding whether to take him, told us all about his personality, taught us basic training, and gave us any other helpful recommendations. Highly recommend!
There are not enough stars to express how we feel about our experience!!! Lynda and Lucy were amazing…the facility was clean and professional Vs some of the other places we had ever been to…the knowledge Lynda has about her craft left an impression and we went home w our chihuahua w a ton of information and confidence…our dog chi chi loves our home and I believe it starts at Nyc breeders, Lynda and her amazing professional staff…
Lovely store, courteous employees, knowledgeable on all dog breeds. Not to mention all of their dogs are from licensed Breeders who monitor the dog’s health and condition in impeccable, modern ways. Very satisfied with my visit and plan on making this location my new, local pet store, in addition to the grooming station! Very happy with the puppies and the staff, I will be back!
Christian and the staff were patient and very friendly. They answered any questions we had. The puppies and dogs are on the pricier side but they seem to have the best of the best as we found the perfect healthy puppy for our family. We couldnt be more happy with our puppy and NY Breeders service. Thank you!
Was with a friend today who is in the market for a puppy. Something seemed really off when I went to this puppy store. First off, on the other side of the glass we could see a bunch of other puppies in different cages. When we asked if we were allowed to see those puppies, the employee immediately told us it was employees only. Why are there so many hidden dogs back there? Second, we saw a bunch of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, one of my favorite breeds. We thought they were adorable and then we noticed that it seemed as though their tails had been clipped. That broke my heart, especially since cavaliers are known for their luscious feather-like tails. Third, and most disturbingly, they kept big sized dog breeds in the smallest cages. Not only were they the smallest cages, but they put TWO big dogs in one tiny cage that was too small for even one dog. I’m talking big dogs, nearly full sized labradors and huskies. It made me absolutely devastated to see the dogs like this. The only reason I would encourage buying a dog from there is to get them OUT.
Only reason I gave this place 2 stars is because the staff are extremely nice. I was so close to buying the A mini golden doodle until a lady with heels began walking around the store; assuming she was the manager or owner. If your reading this review... I recommend you to have as little time in the store as possible ! You turn customers away. They are extremely over priced and like many other reviewers mentioned, they price up the dog several times during your time in the store. The lady/ owner with the moles on her lips has a disgusting demeanor & you can tell does not care for the animals what so ever. Again amazing staff & would have purchased without her there.
Please do not buy from this place. They are not honest. Our puppy was picked up with a cough. My wife asked Cheyenne why the dog was coughing. She than spoke to Rebecca and her response was that the dog was fine. My wife left the place and the dogs nose was running. Two days later. Our dog was diagnosed with a respiratory infection. I spoke to Pedro and all he could respond was that he was shocked and they wouldn’t do that. All he could say was Send us the vet bill and we’ll take care of it. Why don’t you Focus on training your staff to do the right thing and be honest. Pedro who has worked there for 8 years and is the manager(as he mentioned) had every slick answer. Definitely wasn’t his first time lying to a customer for sure. Cheyenne no longer works there. According to Pedro, Rebecca would never sell a sick dog but my wife and two children were there when she said the dog is fine and when asked to speak to the owner he was conveniently on vacation. When I asked for owners name he wouldn’t provide it. He wouldn’t provide his own last name but yet he manages the place. Instead of making every excuse and covering your mistakes , do the right thing by the customer. My wife bought a ton of supplies and was told she could return anything with a tag. Now it’s only store credit. Pedro Said if we aren’t happy you can return the dog. The pup is our family. We don’t operate that way. That answer is all business and this place is make money at any and all cost. Bad business. Bad staff. Stay away!!! This place is 100% shady! Leadership and honesty starts from the top and clearly if Pedro is leading the charge than you have zero credibility. Do better!
We bought two dogs from ny breeder. Good customer service, very patient with us selecting dogs. We got our first dog here, she a great addition to family thats why we came back.
My boyfriend and I took home our Doxie terrier mix named Nala a week ago. We had come into the store the day before to browse, and Pete helped us right away with any questions or concerns. He also gave us some great training advice when we got to sit and play with Nala for the first time.We returned the next day to take home the puppy that stole our hearts, and Linda was such HUGE HELP. She was there every step of the way. The entire staff is so knowledgeable and experienced, and you can tell they care for their animals. Jorge took so much of his time going over essential beginning trainings, as I had so many questions being a first time dog owner. Everyone we met was super personable. The entire store is super clean and very conscious of sanitizing - which was very pleasing to know considering COVID-19 is still very much a thing. Now we’ve had Nala for a week, and we’ve called NYC Breeders a few times already for more advice on how to train her. They’re very helpful, patient, and receptive when we call with questions. We are super happy with our new and healthy pup. We cannot express more how much of a great experience we had.
Top notch pet store. Pete and his staff were very helpful in making sure that not only did we choose the right dog but that the entire purchase process was relaxed and comfortable. My wife is a first time pet owner so having an informed and relaxed process was really important to her. Stormy came fixed and micro-chipped and had we were given all of the paperwork associated with her. We were given a short training session on how to acclimate her to her new home and what to do in these first few days with her. NYC breeders really cares about their animals and families looking for pets. I highly recommend them for your first/next pet purchase.
‘I Love My New Bed!!! 🥰🐾’ It’s Like I Live In This Store 🤗
This was one of the best choices we could have ever made by going to you guys at NYC Breeders, filled with truly caring professional people who devote their time to the love of animals and their genuine welfare and hope to find wonderful loving homes. The knowledge, friendliness, and commitment is what made us understand that you guys really care in helping us find our new addition to the family. It has been an amazing experience. Thank you so much. NYC Breeders from Brooklyn.Best, Grace & Geo
When i visited with the intention of buying a puppy that day we ended up not buying a puppy because the employees were pushing a dog on us that we explicitly said we werent interested in and were so rude after we said that . It seems incredibly sketchy and after reading all of these reviews I will never buy a puppy from them. the employees were pushy about their dogs and were also rude, dont seem to care about where the dogs end up and only care about money. everything about this place doesnt feel right, very sad because obviously the dogs arent taken care of. :(
I’m in love with the staff at NYC Breeders. The staff is a amazing, and the grooming my dog Ava had was superb. I recommend anyone who wants a dog to go to them.
My family and I purchased a Shih Poo puppy at NYC Breeders on April 15 2020. We took him to the vet 2 days later. He was diagnosed as having ear mites, he was underweight, and he had received a set of vaccinations too early (before 7 weeks) invalidating the series. We had these conditions confirmed at a second veterinarian two weeks later. The ear mites cleared up with the treatment.I contacted Peter, the salesperson, by phone, and he agreed to cover the cost of the ear mite exam and treatment. He asked that I fax him a receipt, which I did. After a week, I did not hear back from Peter, and I emailed Gary Nudelman aka Gary Newman, the owner of the store. I told him about the situation and after some very nasty emails, he told me Peter would never agree to cover that expense. He refused to honor the commitment that his employee had made. Of course he refused to cover the extra vet visit and series of vaccinations the dog should have had at 7 weeks (dog is now 14 weeks). After spending over $3,000 on a puppy and supplies, I expect a healthy dog, with all the required vaccinations, and excellent customer service. I got none of that at NYC Breeders, and a stressful, rude experience as well. Before you think about getting a dog there, as yourself if you want to spend hundreds extra paying for vet bills and vaccinations the dog should already have had. And do some research on the owner as well.
NY Breeder was amazing, the entire process was seamless and they were extremely transparent with all of the questions I had. I was very new to this entire process and they made me feel so comfortable with my puppy. I would highly recommend them!!
Top-notch staff juxtaposed with quality food, treats, and all your other pet needs. Give this place a try, youll keep coming back for your little fur baby.Honestly, were really grateful to have such a well-optioned place nearby to us so we can always get our pets what they need quickly at an affordable price.Hands-down -- way better service and prices than nearby corporate joints and even, dare I say, online!Hats off to the staff! *Masks on*
I bought a cocker spaniel from the NY Breeder and I am happier than ever. Not only my new puppy is healthy and really cute, but the service was quite professional. They helped me make my mind about my new dog and I really couldnt be happier! Thanks for the great experience from both me and Lori (thats how I named my new pet).
We bought our dog as a puppy a few years ago at this store. She, Daisy, was and is a very happy and well adjusted dog. What I like about this store is high level of care and knowledge the staff have for the dogs. For example, I went to the store wanting a long retractible leash for daisy so she could roam around a little more, I asked for a 50’ leash. They became really concerned for Daisy’s safety because long is ok but a leash 50’ long is a good way to get your dog hit by a car. I ended up getting a leash that was long enough for Daisy but safe. :-) They also have really good tips on how to train your puppy and dog. Bottom line is these are definitely animal people. Some reviews have complained that they are too expensive. These people should not buy an animal for a pet if they are not willing to pay what it costs to get a well cared for happy puppy. NY Breeder is the place to go for well cared for puppies, knowledgeable, caring and friendly staff.
Had an awesome experience with Ann Marie! My mom bought her Aussie from here and he’s great and so smart. I just purchased a mini Aussie from here and I love her so much! I highly recommend.
We had a wonderful experience getting our fur baby! Robin was extremely kind, helpful, patient, and walked us through the process. We’ve had our boy home for a week now and could not be more overjoyed and thankful. If you’re looking for a puppy go see Robin!
Great experience. Diana was very knowledgeable and helpful. All the pups are happy and healthy. Would recommend ny breeders if you want a puppy
This is a great example of a puppy mill store. The puppies look very cramped, forced to stay in the same compartment, playing around in each others pee and poo. The receptionists here are basically businessmen. They try to haggle with you, to get the most money they can. The puppies here are very overpriced; AKC approved breeders sell their pups for less. The pet store smells unhealthy and shady, even the glass wont be able to hide away the scent. Please, please, please do not support puppy mills. Please take your time to do research and find a legit breeder and meet the parents of your pups. A puppy is a new baby. Please be patient. Please be very cautious. Please dont resort to buying a pup from a pet store just because you want a puppy quick and easy.
Love this place! From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff who were so knowledgeable. I fell in love with a GS pup. He was a perfect fit upon meeting him. So glad I bought him. Every dog looked well cared for and heathy. The store was super clean. I will definitely be using them again in the future as our fur family grows . 5 stars!!
DO NOT BUY A PUPPY FROM HERE!! It is the worst customer experience after the purchase of my life . Puppies are not properly vaccinated and the free life time training is a hassle let alone make an appointment . Do not believe anything they say unless they specifically say it in writing . I was told puppies were vaccinated, I was told if my puppy was sick they would pay for the second round of check up , I was told free life time training , I was told my puppy ate a certain food and was told to buy a huge premium bag and my puppy didn’t even like the food. When I called to follow up on anything they were rude , condescending and I quote “ it is not our problem” referring to the puppy I paid almost 4K for. Over priced, rude , selling sick puppies. I knew better but went against my better judgement. DO NOT LET IT HAPPEN TO YOU !EDITED TO ADD RESPONSE TO OWNER: I did purchase the dog 2/19. April was when I finally received an email back because they were out the country and due to that fact I was forced to purchase dog training at a different program. As far as everything else you mentioned, complete LIES. Buyers buy at your own risk but just know that after purchase, anything thing they mentioned about after care is a LIE. Dont get scammed like I did !!!
Brought home the sweetest Golden Retriever puppy this weekend! The entire staff at NYC Breeders was extremely kind, patient and helpful throughout the process of choosing the the puppy to bringing him home and we could not be happier with our little guy and our experience here. Huge thank you to all!
Me and my Fiancé were thinking about buying a puppy in the summer but right now is a good time to buy a puppy. The staff were very professional and very helpful. They very busy Helping customers And they even gave us our moment to help us Which made us happy. The staff there were very knowledgeable about the puppies they have. I highly recommend people come here to buy their best friend.
We just purchased our french bulldog from NY Breeder and we are very happy with our new baby. The staff was friendly and helpful every step of the way! Would recommend!
We got our Meatball on December 25, 2019, as a gift. Shes was clean and well kept. shes actually going to be 2 in October of this year. This place has excellent employees, helpful and was a great experience. This is our first pet. I highly recommend them.
Ive been coming here over the course of 5 months while I settle in to my new home and buy furniture for my apartment. Over the course of these 5 months I have been noticing the same puppies that are now growing up there. Its kind of sad. You notice certain breeds not selling you ever stop and wonder its the prices? Would you rather keep a dog knowing it can find its forever home or charge over 2,000 and up trying to make some type of deal for yourself? Also the big dogs are crammed in small cages with eachother, I understand having them on display is the point but at what cost? i know you are trying to run a business and these are selective breeds but when they dont sell for a month or 2 understand why. Having a successful business also means what do the customers want? Lower some prices on the dogs that have been there longer and watch them find homes!!! Also the old man and lady there is no need to be rude to guest when they ask dog related questions!!! Handling dogs is one thing but if someone is interested in buying the dog and they wanna see how they interact then you should let them in a respectable way for both parties.
This breeder was good for our first dog about 2 years ago. Our last dog they LIED about it being a pure bred golden retriever and we found out it was a mix with Irish setter! We were charged for a pure bred, our dog had sores from being in the cage and didn’t appear to have been walked ever. The place smells terrible. With any dog shop it will have a smell but this was terrible. We went back months later and the dogs fur were soiled and discolored and the place smelled worse than ever. We will not purchase another dog here. Be sure to do your research before coming here or they’ll cheat you. I never do reviews but felt that I had a responsibility to warn others.
I bought a Boston Terrier from NY Breeder almost 2 weeks ago when I wasnt able to find a local breeder. The staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The store is clean and there are small rooms for families to visit with their prospective pet before purchasing. On our way home with our puppy, we heard her cough, and the next day she was diagnosed with kennel cough. Technically this would entitle us to return her to the store for a full refund, but the vet and I decided together that 1. this was a very common issue at all pet stores and boarding facilities and 2. it was about as serious as a cold and 3. she would recuperate much better at home with me than in the store. NY Breeder had given me the choice of 2 vets to visit for free and all the medicine needed for this issue was covered. While the vet had a relationship with the store, I felt he was impartial and had the dogs best interest at heart and he was upfront with me. My puppy is feeling much better now and I really cant fault the store any more than I can fault my childs preschool when my daughter comes home with a cold. Many people are concerned about breeding practices at pet stores. I advise you to ask to see the pets pedigree papers, which will allow you to see the animals lineage for several generations and identify any potential breeding issues. Read up about line breeding vs. inbreeding beforehand and be comfortable with the animals lineage BEFORE purchasing.I also appreciate that Gary, the on-site dog trainer, was available to answer my training questions and he was clear that he expected me to come back to him with more questions in a week or so as the dog learns her current schedule, begins housetraining, etc. Additionally, the store has a wide selection of all that you will need for your pet at fair prices, which was very convenient for us. The staff helped us identify what we needed to get started and gave us a 10% discount since we purchased our dog there.
I spent a fortune at this location my puppy has been sick since I bought him now he seems to have a trachea problem but in the mean time all the visits to vet and meds have not been addressed This dog should not have had this issue when I purchased him and now my heart breaks and so does my wallet I will continue to push them to step up and do the right thingAnimals are our babies and this is horrible. I dint think they actually care about the dogs just the money. And the sales man has a good sales pitch but that’s all it was
My daughter got a frenchie 3 months ago and poor thing came home with a parasite called Giardia and her immune system not developed completely. We are still dealing with it and still spending hundreds of dollars at the vet, since she still so small for heavy meds. Please when purchasing a puppy from this store please make sure to take it to your private vet. We did called the store when we first found out about the parasite and nothing was done. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM FROM THIS PLACE AND IF YOU DO PLEASE TAKE THE PUPPY RIGHT AWAY TO YOUR VET FOR A FULL CHECK UP.
Best experience buying our beautiful mini aussie. Pedro was a great help, he went above and beyond!
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This staff was fantastic! After our Boston Terrier crosses the rainbow bridge, my husband and I were scammed by a breeder. We, by chance, walked into NY breeder just to see if they had a Boston. And under a pile of French bulldogs was his litttle Boston butt.I immediately asked to see him. It was love at first site. We noticed he had a cough. Right away, Robin talked to Linda and they made a call to the vet to get him checked out. The next day he was seen and was put on antibiotics. Linda and Robin said that he would need to stay there until he was checked by the doctor again and was cleared. We visited him every day. They made it clear that the puppy would only be able to come home once his health was 100%. And for that, I am thankful. 2 weeks later, he was cleared to come home but then the little booger got cherry eye. When we came to visit him, they explained that he would need a procedure done and that he would need to stay so they could treat and clean his eye. Then on my birthday, we got the call that he could come home! For the past 3 weeks, the team at NY Breeder took such great care for our Snoop and really helped my husband and I out. They have become ‘family’HUGE SHOUT OUT to Christian and Gina too!!!!My husband and I are so happy to have our little guy!
Great experience ! Wonderful staff. We were helped by pedro very helpful and very informative. We also had great interactions with Jake & Robin also very sweet & friendly. We purchased a beutiful bulldog and pedro helped us evey step of the way walked us through some pointers and was extremely patient with our many questions. Please do not let some bad reviews deter you from visiting this shop. The animals are well cared for and the only smell is your normal pet shop smells.Thank you all again for the great sevice today and keep up the great work!
We purchased our Yorkie pup at this store, and we are so happy with our pup. Just want to thank Gary, Robin and Chris for their patience while we contemplated in making our final decision while we were in the store. In the future we do plan on purchasing another Yorkie pup, a little sister for our little boy.
Owner and Pedro were helpful in walking thru the whole purchase process and great tips on training the puppies. Clean place with healthy puppies. Saw lots of folks in the store and many seem to be happy customers. We got our German shepeard and he’s a beauty. We can’t wait to take him home.
Great store with tons of very cute puppies. Have to say that the French Bulldogs are my favorite though there are a lot of other pups that are pretty awesome too. Store was clean, very nice to deal with Gary and the team. Lots of added benefits to going here and will be recommending them to everyone I know. Thanks a lot guys
My daughter bought an overpriced puppy for my granddaughter here about a month ago and after the puppy was home 3 days he developed kettle cough. He is still struggling. If this was not such an emotional purchase, he would have been returned immediately. Don’t buy here. There are plenty of other options for healthy puppies!!!!!!
Best puppy store !!! great place toFind the next new members forYour family staff was soSweet and welcoming . I made the right choice with buying from them. Definitely would recommend them !
Exceptional experience from beginning to end. From the detailed info provided about my puppy’s breeder, to the appropriate vaccinations, to training before we left the location...couldn’t be happier with my Boston Terrier Dexter. Would recommend to all. 🐶
Me and my fiancé bought a French bull dog from nyc breeders and she is fantastic. The people who work their are very friendly and extremely helpful. Before leaving they gave us good training advice for our puppy and helped get everything we needed for our home
I give this place 2 stars because even though the puppies are really cute and they all look really healthy, the price is so high, I will definitely not get a puppy from this place, because I came to look at a corgi and it was $5000, I got confused and thought that maybe they thought I was asking about the price for 2 corgis, but no, each is $5000. I estimated the tax and it’s over $400. I went on chewy to order things that I will need for a puppy and it was over $300! I’m sorry but I don’t need a puppy for about $6000. They also used an excuse that this is a great price because the tail is already cut off and they are already fixed. That’s not a good excuse because most corgis are sold with their tails cut off and they don’t charge extra because they are supposed to be cut off at birth, no other place charges extra for that and I guess it’s a good thing that they are fixed, but fixing a dog doesn’t cost at least $3000.
This place was not honest about their Pricing. In fact they initially quoted me half the cost and then told me that dog wasn’t available and then brought out the same dog for twice when they initially quoted me very dishonest place do your research before purchasing a dog so that you can put in a fair price. Only reason I gave it two stars was because I love my new dog so grateful for that.
I got my Pomeranian from here and fell in love with him the instant I saw him! He is the absolute love of my life and I have to thank Linda for being so knowledgeable and helping me find the new member of my family! Training is free which I will definitely be taking advantage of. Thank you NY Breeder!
While we were looking at puppies the sales woman was pushy and impatient and after 10 minutes of us swing with the dog her manner became Increasingly pressured. When a friend of ours who was with us asked to repeat a question, the sales lady rolled her eyes and gave us a look of inferiority. We were then told that the store was unwilling to sell to us because we “asked to many questions”. Although the dogs looked reasonably well cared for there were no pads in the cages for comfort. We were also told that we could not know the name of the breeders until we purchased a dog which gives us no background information of the dog. Overall I would not recommend this store for buying a dog and I hope the store rethinks it’s way of Dealing with it’s costumers.
I got my Shih Tzu from here and he’s the best! I couldn’t ask for a better puppy than him . The owner and staff were friendly and very helpful. Trust me if you wanna find your pup best friend, NY Breeders is the place to go ! Thank you so much .
Really great and clean place. Pete, Linda, Bella, and everyone working there have been friendly, helpful and supportive. Every time I have a question about my puppy, they give me great advice and suggestions. Thank you, NYC Breeders!!!
5 stars for the simple fact that me and bf love our boxer that we had bought from here ! The place was nice and had a variety of dogs. Although it is overpriced ,the dog could be 5-6 months and it’s somehow still like 2k & they will not go lower. The one thing I do advise is if you buy your pet from here don’t let them push on items because your pet needs it. Just write down the name of the food the pup eats and go to petsmart which is way cheaper. When we had gotten our boxer they pushed about $200 worth of items because we NEED it apparently. We didn’t think much of it then because we were excited to take our pup home but thinking about it now it would have been better to buy the items elsewhere. If you lease the dog beware that’s another issue & find as much information on the company before doing so.
The place is amazing! Dear Linda got us a dog we instantly fell in love with. After getting him home we realized he enjoyed love and excellent care in the store. It is so important to us! We will be back for guidance and just to say hi. We already recommend to our comnunity to visit this place. Thank you! See you soon!
Purchased a miniature labradoodle a week ago. Was told he was healthy and a perfect fit for our family. My children fell in love with him and we had to have him! Brought him home on Friday - mondayvwe learns that he is sick and on antibiotics. Tuesday we learn he is suffering from parasites (internally and externally) and on two additional antibiotics. We were also told he was checked out on Friday before pickup and received a clean bill of health. My biggest mistake was using their vet that they recommended as they were all in on this. We then bring the dog back to NY Breeders on Saturday and was told there was nothing wrong with him?!?! He’s on 3 antibiotics, not healthy and I am shelling out so much money to try to help a sick dog! And what can I do - nothing! Please - I do hope someone takes this post seriously especially if you have children. My children are extremely upset about this as I am too!
Pete, Bella, Linda, and George were super helpful and patient in helping us choose a dachshund puppy and explaining what we need to do as first time dog owners. We are grateful for their guidance and kind treatment of their puppies.
I purchased an extremely overpriced 8 week old maltipoo in January 2017 that I was assured had been vet checked and was healthy. Yet a day after being home he started to become violently ill having to be hospitalized with parasites that resulted in colitis which was accompanied by severe pain, diarrhea and blood in the stool. He was so dehydrated that he needed 2 days of IV fluids and antibiotics. I am a registered nurse so I know how ill this can make anyone and he is lucky to be alive. This was an unacceptable way to sell a puppy and upon notification the pet store refused to compensate me for the thousands of dollars that I had to spend to keep my puppy alive. It took 5 months for him to rid these parasites due to the unhealthy condition in which he was sold to me his immune system had a hard time fighting it. Thankfully he is now an 8 month old happy, healthy puppy but it is no thanks to NY Breeders. I would not recommend anyone buy a pet here, clearly the conditions and staff attentiveness are not what they seem.
Linda was an amazing help, super informative. Bought my second puppy from here!! Would definitely recommend.
Good Morning,So yesterday was the first time i went to NYC Breeders for grooming, I was recommended from a friend. From the moment i walked in I was greeted with such joy, they answered all my concerns about my Diva, who is a 12 year old Poodle with some health issues. Alycia was wonderful with Diva & when i picked her up she lookes absoulthy beautiful.. Thank you, I will be coming back,Divas Mom
Stay away .. they have bad sales tactics. They did a bait and switch . The employee Pedro offered us an amount to walk away with the dog the same day . My husband said he wanted to think about it & said he would come back . Next day once we expressed our interest and was obviously ready to buy the dog. The manager came in and Was very unprofessional negating everything her employee said saying the offer was on another dog that we had already expressed that we did t like ( dog looked very weak and was shivering ). She said the offer was just a sales tactic. The interesting thing to note was that the dog that we wanted was the older dog - 4 mos , versus the sickly 2 mos dog ( w/ the interesting coloring ). Unfortunately ...Not very honest
Annmarie and patty were both amazing and very friendly, we came in looking for a puppy and they were so helpful! They both have so much knowledge on their puppies in the store! I would recommend them to anyone !!
I bought a puppy 2 months ago. After getting him i found out he has kennel cough and Giardia. On top of that, they priced their puppies for such high prices and turns out to be a sick puppy. Weeks and weeks, i’ve been wasting money at the vet trying to cure these illnesses. It is not worth your money unless you’re willing to buy some sick puppies.
I had purchased one of their beautiful German Shepherds! The lady with curly hair helped me a lot with understanding the training that they provided for me! Which was free!! The place was fairly clean and an overall good experience.
First and foremost, do not be confused by the slight misrepresentation of the name. This is not a breeder or breeder collective as I had assumed. This is a puppy store. Walking in, you enter a room of glass, wire bottomed, toyless kennels (full of what I can only assume from my experience as well as The reviews of others are sick dogs). I’m not sure where to begin.I guess the first red flag was the general rudeness of the female in charge who answered the phone. Would not answer questions, and was quite cagey. But still, I had seen the dog on Facebook and he was the most adorable thing.Customer service aside, not all people are built for that. So we continued on and made the trip from MA to NY to visit this puppy. Upon meeting him , We were told the price was quite above market average, but thats because these dogs have received every medical advantage and were chipped, which is how they justify the price. Sounding logical, We paid for the dog and set home to bring this adorable corgi back to meet his new family.By the time we got home he was having a little trouble with diarrhea (won’t get too graphic) but we were told that was possible due to his worm treatment given at the pet shop (far to closely to the worm treatment given by the breeder) and the following morning when it persisted we got a vet to come and check him out and do the recommended stool test.We were promptly informed that he had a giardia parasite, and given medication. However the following day his health had seemed to continue to decline. At this point we contacted the vet, who said to bring him into an animal hospital. We also contacted NY breeder to get the callus response “that’s normal” which you can see in the pictures. We went to the veterinary hospital immediately, and they ran several tests, at this point about $1,700 worth. It turned out poor sweet Doug had parvo, and would need to be put into intensive care at the cost of $4,000. Regardless of the money, the fact is that this disease has an incubation period in excess of the time we had him, which means NY Breeder had a dog infected with parvo (an extremely dangerous and potentially deadly disease) in their store, somehow provided us a clean bill of health, and presently as of today have at least 20 other dogs who were exposed and could potentially die in the near future. They did not respond to our message as of yet informing them of this. Now, of course, we have always heard Horror stories about pet stores, and the misleading name drove us several hours to one. But seeing these conditions, and seeing this sweet pups eyes; there was absolutely no way we could leave him there. Thankfully we did not it would have been a death sentence. I urge you to please find a proper breeder , and never do any business to support this place which so clearly does not care about the well being of its animals, just the bottom line..... money.Update: I have been to the store, this past Monday, purchased a corgi. He is currently in an intensive care unit at VCA.
Just got our new pup here. She’s a little cavalier we named her sprinkles! She’s the best. Dina and Linda helped with the entire process. The store is spotless and the animals are beautiful. I’ll be back for grooming!!!!!
We got our Siberian Husky from NYC Breeders, and she is the best dog ever! Honestly, I never had one issue with our dog. She is so healthy, happy, and outgoing and thats because NYC Breeders takes such good care of their puppies. Linda and Pete are so professional, and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of owning a dog. They take care of everything; so, you dont have to worry about anything except loving your new puppy!I was so impressed with their thorough take home instructions. They really care about their dogs and spend so much time going over everything you need to know to ensure you and your dog are happy in their new home. I have had dogs my whole life and they taught me things I didnt know. They are always available to answer any questions and give you training advice whenever you need it. The store is so clean and stocked with a full range of dog supplies at the best prices. This place has everything (and more) you will ever need.If you are first time pet owner or considering getting another dog, I would never trust getting my dog anywhere else (especially online). NYC Breeders puppies are top notch. Go in and see for yourself. I guarantee you will find the perfect dog. We sure did!
I stopped by this store with my girlfriend, and upon entering there was a strong smell of feces. The puppies were in a contained area where they are walking on wires and there own poop. The bigger dogs needs a lot more room. I saw a Chihuahua thats had to be only a couple weeks old way to young to be taken away from its mother. Obviously they use puppy mill dogs and only care about money and not the care of the dogs which is sick. On top of that the owner was very rude to the customers. I will make a complaint and hopefully they get investigated and close down.
I just want to say I had such a great smooth experience here. The staff was super helpful and made sure I had everything I needed along with my new puppy 🐶 special shout out to Isabella, I felt comfortable and confident throughout the whole process. Thank you guys!!
Bought this mini Yorkie, told I had 2 free vet visits, took him to his vet, 2 elderly gentleman, very nice people but a bit of dementia, first visit because dog was coughing violently at night, had kettle cough, gave wrong meds!dog started limping, found out was born with genetical disease,They should be shut down for cruelty to animals, they keep dogs in large fish tanks, dogs keep jumping at glass constantly to get out! Also staff is very sarcastic!!!
We attempted to get a rescue pup and also tried to get one through a breeder. The timing never worked out. We went to NY Breeder and we are completely happy with the pup that we have now. NY Breeder claims to train the dog, we tried this once and it wasnt at all effective. Also, our pup was only there for one day before we bought her - so no kennel cough or other illnesses. They did push products on us which were not needed... Originally I gave NY Breeders 5 stars, it dropped to 4 after writing the review. Just be aware and dont let them take advantage of new pet owners...
I put a down payment on an order for a french bulldog but later changed my mind on getting a 2nd puppy. I called to see if they could transfer my already paid $300 for store credit to buy supplies on my other dog, the representative told me I can not. Why wouldnt I be able to transfer my own $300 to pet supplies? Very deceiving people, not recommended.
I had called 5 other pet stores looking for someone who would cut my miniature parrots nails. NY Breeder was the only place that would at very reasonable cost. They were very good with my bird. They gave me tips how to keep my bird happy & healthy. Thank You NY Breeder.
Got both of my fur children here. Great place. Garys the OG
Great place clean and staff very friendly. If you have ever been to this store and read the reviews you know they were never here. The puppies are behind a wall of glass in spotless roomy spaces. My Pom I purchased from there has been perfect since day 1. Great store highly recommended
I bought a French bulldog pup about a month ago , sweetest little girl you’ll ever meet . Thank you NYC breeders for making us feel comfortable and answering all our questions . Our Sweet and lovable girl is home doing fine and growing everyday
Thanks for my perfect poodle. Hes our new best friend. Never seen customer service like this before. Everyone was amazing to my family and I. We are so happy and his name is Oliver. Hes perfect and we all love him.
Purchased French Bull dog 2 months old has been sick since purchased. For the pass two weeks have visited the vet daily to get nebulizer treatments. Had to stay two days overnight. Being told it’s called Kennel Cough. As a family we all love this guy but to put us thru this is a shame. Only positive is the Vet Dakota Veterinary has taken full cost of all treatments.
Feel like is all about the $. (If youre going to buy pet that day, they will help you. If not, they could care less about you. ) Place is quite smelly n little dirty.Would not recommend, especially from the outrageous pricing.Example... a dog couple yrs ago was 1,200. Now, that same dog is 4,600. dollars
We got our puppy from nybreader hoping our kids wish came true after 3 years of planning to get a puppy!turn out a very horrible experience!puppy was sick! They didn’t mentioned anything and they told us they are professional and been in this business for so long!make the long story short,we spend more than $700 in a month just for visiting the vet (5 times)and all the medications and still the puppy is not totally out of sickness!very disappointed !
I bought the love of my life (yorkie teacup) from these people and at first he was very sick for the first month like very sickkk I was driving back and fourth to the vet and he even stood in the vet hospital for a night. I was so scared and traumatized but they did help so much I brought my baby back to the breeders in panic mode and they kept him, he slept at one of the workers house for two weeks and they did get him back to health and it’s a year later and he is very loving, healthy and active. Thank you so much. They are like kids you never know what can happen but as long as they are willing to help and guide us through it I will always recommend people to them!
Update: 11/25We’ve had an issue with one of the puppies we purchased. She has become aggressive and we are looking to re-home her. When we reached out to NY Breeder for guidance and assistance they said there was no way they could help us.Pros: Such a great experience. We werent able to get our first pick because we left to think it over. I would highly recommend going with your first instinct. The staff were helpful at helping us find our furry little friend. I would highly recommend them. It’s always a great experience we purchased our puppies sister the other day.I would also highly recommend their grooming services.Con: The recommendations on what to buy for your first puppy I would take with a grain of salt. We spent a bit more than I think we shouldve.
Thanks guys for our new Rottweiler puppy Linda and Bella are the best in doing this go to them I really recommend this place 2thumbs up 3 if I had another thumb THANKS!!!
This is the kind of business that should be the model for others. Dina and Gary understand the business as well as the care for the animals under their watch. Most of all, my family and I have formed a relationship with the staff here. Above anything else, the animals are healthy and cared for. In this business, it is hard to stand out from others but I assure you this is the place to buy a puppy from. Gary only deals with reputable breeders and share all information ahead of making the purchase. We spent 6+ weeks stalking our Whoodle and suggest that you stop by to see the magic being made :)
Annemarie and her staff were awesome helping us pick out our new baby and took time to explain all her medical history and everything about her. Annemarie also gave us all her food that she needed to go home with. Thank You
Robin was a very helpful person who helped us picking out our new puppy. She was very patient and dedicated us the time to explain everything about our new family member. Thank you very much!!
Rude older guy there who was so rude and nasty. We really wanted to get to know one particular puppy and he said that he will only take it out if we buy it today. Rude rude rude. There are puppies who have been in those crates for 6 months and still not sold. Way to make a sale man! If you want to be treated poorly and discriminated please be my guest and visit this shop to be humiliated. Avoid at all cost!
I went here with cash in my pocket and intentions of buying a puppy. Upon entering, the lady behind the counter who was not friendly at all told us we could only play with the puppies if we were interested in buying them. I told her I was interested in two and would like to interact with them so I could choose. She made us stand there for 30 minutes and just completely stopped acknowledging that we were even there. I walked out very angry as I had lost all patience. I was not going to spend two grand on a dog I could not interact with. Maybe I dodge a bullet, all the puppies looked dirty and were covered in their own feces.
Yesterday 6/10/20 me and my fiancé past to see some dogs I fell in love with a brown mini schnauzer they had the dog was $4,500 it was a lot of money for a dogs average price of $2,500 to $3,000 but anyway after about one hour debate with my fiancé we went back in and put a deposit on the schnauzer and told them we will pick up the dog on Friday 6/12/20. So today 6/11/20 I decided to stop by since I work close by and see the dog and ask a few more questions. They tell me the dog is sick, I said WHAT!!! and when was you going to inform me about this I’m supposed to pick up the dog tomorrow 6/12/20 ? They all started blaming each other on what staff member knew about the dog being sick and so on and so on. These people are thieves they are over priced by at least $2,000 and the lame excuse to tell me the dog is sick. I honestly believe someone came in with cash in hand and the dog was sold even though they put the colar of sold on the puppy and they had our $500 deposit. Long story short this place is garbage and I’m kinda glad I didn’t get to pay the price specially taken the dog home cause if it really was sick I would have had big problems with them even though they state they warranty is good but that’s all bull sh*t. And the guy GARY (owner) all he said as I was walking out after He gave my refund was “put the dog back on sale” I wish they had a negative 5 start option cause that would have been my rating
All this place cares about is the money. The price for a puppy was way to expensive when you can easily get one in Pennsylvania for way cheaper. The lady who was helping us was also barely wearing a mask and was very rude and silent. Not professional at all !
My wife and I just bought the cutest French Bulldog from NY Breeder and we love it. So far hes as healthy as can be. Dont know why there are negative reviews here. We had a great experience.
I ve been in the store a couple of times and the lady behind the desk whom seems to be either the owner or manager is very unfriendly, abrupt and will not let you play with the puppies unless she feels your ready to buy that day. We were ready to buy, but her unfriendly attitude turned me off so we left.It wasnt the first time I got this feeling from the same person. I prefer to adopt or purchase from a breeder whom are passionate about what they do. I felt like I was buying a puppy from Cruella de Vil.
NEVER BUY A DOG FROM THIS PLACE! All of their dogs are sick with kennel cough and carry the parasite Giardia, which can also be caught by humans and cause diarrhea and other health issues. They tell you that all the dogs are fine or that they will treat them by putting them in an incubator, which really does nothing to cure the kennel cough because you need antibiotics to fix it. Both kennel cough and Giardia are extremely contagious to other dogs. They dont care about the dogs at all, all they are about is you putting a deposit down and taking your money.I bought a puppy from them and she was so sick. I put the deposit down and a few days later came back to pick her up and she was so sick it was horrible. She had such a bad case of kennel cough and tested positive for Giardia. They will tell you to take the puppy to their vet and it will be cheaper with the warranty, but it is 10x more expensive in the long run because you have to take care of all their ailments. The first veterinarian exam may be free, but it is wasted on the vet looking at the sickness and kennel cough of the poor puppy. If you are going to buy a dog from there, MAKE SURE they get it antibiotics first before you pick it up.My friend was also going to buy a puppy from there, she put the deposit down and then she found out it was very sick with kennel cough. They told her they would put the dog in an incubator by itself to make sure it gets better. She has other dogs at home and kennel cough is very contagious to other dogs so she changed her mind about buying the puppy. The minute the store found out she changed her mind they put the sick puppy with kennel cough right back in front with the other dogs so that all of them would get contaminated with kennel cough. It just goes to show you how much they really could care less about their dogs and more about taking your money. Not only are they over priced, but you have to spend so much money afterwards just getting the puppy to a health state. Under NY Law it is illegal to sell someone a sick dog, and when I approached them and asked them to pay for her treatment they refused. I WOULD NEVER BUY A DOG FROM THIS PLACE EVER!!They also have some kind of deal going on with the vet they suggest you to go to. They both cover each others backs and its not even fair because it wounds up being taken out on the puppy. Not only did I spend over 2k on the puppy but I had to spend about a thousand more just taking care of her kennel cough and Giardia parasite problems. You are much better off buying from a breeder. This place should be shut down.
Hey guys,“Linda is freaking amazing!!!”. I recently got a husky pup from CT Breeder and this is my first time raising a pup. I came to NYC Breeder for some advice and training for the little guy. Linda helped us and her advice and training tips made a big change. Thanks a lot NYC and CT Breeder, especially Linda- Thanks a million.
