Rapawzel Dog Grooming & Day Care

I have been putting off getting services for my Yorkie for too long and Rapawzel made it so convenient to have him taken care of! They communicated so well before, during, and after his appointment! Jonathan the groomer was so, so kind to me and my dog and really took good care of him as this was his first appointment in a very long time. I have 2 other dogs that I will definitely be bringing back to Rapawzel!

Was very happy with service. Had to make last minute appointment, and Rapawzel was very accommodating. They were able to arrive earlier than planned and the groomer was very good with my Diamond (12yr English Bulldog). I had one request...make her smell good...and he did!👍🏽👏🏽❤️🐶 Plan on using them against next month.

This was our first time taking our cat, Blitz to Rapawzel - we couldnt be more impressed! The staff was so welcoming and made my cat at ease right away. They took the time to understand my pets needs and explained the grooming process thoroughly. When I picked up Blitz, he looked amazing, clean, well groomed and happy. Im so glad we chose this place and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it!!

We used the mobile service for the flexibility and convenience. Ollie was very nervous as he is still a puppy at 7months. Naize did a great job keeping him calm. I was nervous at first to leave my dog in a van with a stranger. Admittedly I walked by a few times to peak through the tinted window. In about an hour he was done! My dog looked so good and happy! I was so excited. Will definitely use Rawpawzel again. Denilson was the groomer- he was great.

Naize was an amazing groomer. My dog is very difficult to work with. The groomer I had in the past could not groom my dog anymore because she was too aggressive but Naize was able not only to groom her but clip her nails and put a bow on too. I would recommend her to anyone.

I called on a Sunday & was able to get an appointment for the following day! Jonathan was prompt; he knew exactly how to handle my pup to decrease her anxiety. Jonathan also demonstrated his passion & care by actually teaching me how to trim my dogs claws safely, so that I would not hurt her next time I tried. The end result (bath, deep conditioning, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, & claw trim) was incredible! My dogs coat was soft & shinier & she smelled like a brand new toy! My dog seemed fine, calm, and content, so it must have been a good experience for her! Ive recommended this groomer to all of my family!

I recently used Rapawzel for the first time, and I couldn’t be more impressed with Denilson’s grooming services for my toy poodle, Papa. Being an introvert, I was nervous about trying a new service, but the convenience of a mobile grooming van coming directly to my home was a game-changer! Denilson was friendly, and professional .Papa looked absolutely adorable after his grooming—his coat was soft, perfectly trimmed, and smelled amazing.I highly recommend Denilson and Rapawzel for anyone looking for a stress-free, high-quality grooming experience. Thoughtful groomer who listened to our cares and concerns and did an excellent job with our 13 yr old cat. Completely relaxed! She has bad arthritis and some issues with movement. However, her coat is silky smooth and she is clearly more comfortable in her skin. No smell- increased comfort- a win-win!

Denilson and his assistant were extremely friendly and cared about how we wanted our pups cut to look like. They came nearly 40 mins early and treated our pup with immense respect and care. We will absolutely be booking with him for all future grooms. Thank you so much!

I could not be happier with the quality of service I received! My groomer, Andrea, was AMAZING! She was SO good with my pitbull mix. I couldn’t believe how calm my Phasma was when Andrea was done with her. She looked and smelled beautiful and she was clearly having fun with her new friend Andrea. The Rapawzel staff are so friendly and supportive and extremely accommodating of scheduling and booking the appointments. The facilities are clean and well kept, and easily accessible in Queens. The staff took great care of our dog and did a wonderful of grooming. We were extremely happy with the result; she was in dire need of a haircut and bath, and she came out looking spic and span. Our pup is a registered ESA, and we needed to have her look her best, which Rapawzel delivered on. I would highly recommend Rapawzel to anyone who needs skilled and wonderful care for their canine companions!

I left my dog for the first time, I was very stressed out because I had an emergency travel, and I didnt know where to leave my dog, so I called them, they were supporting, and the friendly and efficient staff, schedule a meet and greet appointment right away, and give us a tour of the place, so we left our dear puppy there. Last time, I had my dog groomed and they were able to get a matted section out. This time I had her washed and nails cut. She came back looking great! More importantly, she felt great! Sometimes, she gets sick if she is away from us for too long. Luckily, they took great care of her and were speedy. I will definitely be going back. As you can see by the picture, she’s ready for Halloween with her cute bow.

I had a great experience at Rapawzel for boarding and grooming. I left my puppy for boarding and Andrea was so attentive to him and both the pup and I were so at ease. The grooming he had at the end of his stay was also a great experience. Would recommend!

Gabriela was fantastic. I had no idea of what kind of cut to give my overgrown, female 18 week old Australian Labradoodle that I adopted only 5 days ago. Shes just starting house training and basic commands and pretty much just learning everything. It was her first grooming. Gabriela and I talked for just a minute and agreed on short but not shaved. Thats all I knew! 2 hours later my girl was a real puppy (and not a little lost sheep). She has a few tiny nicks from the grooming, and considering how wild and wily she is at this age, they were small nicks and should heal very soon.

This was the 2nd time I used Rapawzel’s services. Again, it was a great experience. Felipe did a terrific job as I expected. I highly recommend the company and Felipe. They really care about your fur baby. Try them, you will be very pleased.

I recently moved to the area and my 2 Maltese were overdue and matted the first time we went. Great cuts and wonderful atmosphere. My second visit today was for regular grooming and they both look wonderful. They listen to what cut I want for their faces and ears. I highly recommend.

2 years with my boy and I’ve always done his grooming on my own. Today, I felt he was overdue for a nice spa day and a more even cut so I decided to take him to the Bayside location. The girls answered me back within 30 minutes and I dropped him off within the hour. He was a bit matted so he needed to be cut down which I knew and understood. When I came back about 3 hrs later, the nice lady was playing with my boy while they waited for me. He was happy, he smells great and she answered a few questions I had. Friendly, timely and I couldn’t say thank you enough!

Churro has gotten groomed and shaved multiple times at Rapawzel, and they always do an amazing job leaving him happy and clean! Rapawzel is the only spot we go to get grooming done because they treat Churro with such love and care! Churro is always a happy boy after a spa treatment!

Both of my cats got a fur cut at Rapawzel in the last three months. Neither one of them got shaved like at the other groomer place that gave me no other option. At Rapawzel, they took care to groom both (long and fine haired Persian and tiny Himayan-Persian Ragdoll, difficult to groom) carefully making them look gorgeous!Staff is a pleasure to interact with.P.S. We had an excellent first time experience with leaving our dog overnight. The workers were understanding and helpful, Andrea was great and so was Elizabeth. At pickup they gave us a little run down of his stay. He was a happy and well treated pup.

Naize did an amazing job. Very punctual, she arrived earlier than the time of the appointment. I explained to her that my senior baby has anxiety and sometimes gets nervous and can get snippy when they touch his paws or face, she took her time with him, was very gentle, kind, would talk to him through out the process to tell him it’s ok and comfort him. I showed her a picture of the kind of cut I wanted and she did the exact or better. I will definitely be booking an appointment with her again. Thank you Naize

I have three dogs and this just made my life so much easier!!!! Denilson was lovely and groomed my black lab, my frenchie and my king charles to my satisfaction…i plan to use them again….and again! I can’t really get my dogs to pose for pictures, but here’s a few… They are happy, not stressed and clean!

My cat is not a fan of having her nails cut but the ladies at rapawzel were able to get the job done with a friendly manner. Much appreciated and Ill be back!

Great experience!!! After reading about the dryer kennels/cages that many groomers use, I have been looking for a groomer that would hand dry my little Shih Tzu- and ideally, groom him 1 on 1. I found Rapawzel through a friend and thought I’d try them out. So convenient to have them come to you! The van was clean, safe and well appointed and Danilson was very kind and gave my little pup exactly the cut we were going for- and the price is very reasonable! Strongly recommended. Im a first time cat owner at 63. I rescued Rusty whose previous caretaker had passed away. He was found by a Police officer acquaintance of mine, who discovered him in the apartment of the deceased man in Brooklyn. He was skinny and unkempt, with matted fur, which had some gunky stuff akin to gum in it in some spots. When he arrived, I also noticed he had a slight but unpleasant odor about him, but mostly I noticed how absolutely frightened he was, of seemingly everything and everyone.I took him in, and just let him hide in the corner or whereever he wanted, and just fed him and gave him water. Of course I made an impromptu litter box, which, thankfully, he readily used.It took like 3 weeks before he would approach me, and another two or so of me feeding him and cleaning his poo, before he would even let me touch him, and even then, sparingly just to scratch his head and behind his ears.Thankfully, today I was finally able to bring Rusty to this establishment (Rapawzel on Francis Lewis boulevard) with the help of a friend and a borrowed cat crate.I dropped Rusty off at 2:00 PM and I was called less than an hour later by one of the workers there, who informed me that they may not be able to do anything for Rusty at all, because he was so terrified of being handled, that they feared he might have a heart attack. He had already emptied his bladder and bowels.. 💩🫢😱... And his heart was racing like crazy...like I said he was terrified.Amazingly, in the course of 4+ hours, The staff there, especially Andrea, were able to convince Rusty to feel safe enough to get his claws clipped, and get his fur shampooed, and even stood still for the removal of the patches of gunked up fur.And although he wouldnt even look me in the eye when I went there to try to coax him (with a piece of deli ham, which he loves, but wouldnt eat)... once he got home he was absolutely thrilled and playful, rubbing against my legs constantly, tail flicking and talking to me with his meows, 😊 and once again, I am a happy camper, thanks to the staff at Rapaezel. Special thanks to Andrea and all else involved with Rustys service today.After and before photos...not the best but...

Rapawzel Dog grooming is one of the best around for dogs and puppies. I come from far away just to bring my puppies here that’s how much I recommend them. They are kind and when you need an appointment they are super responsive to taking you dog right away. I bring both of my puppies here and couldn’t be happier.

My groomer was a nice person; however after three times going there, I was displeased with the way my dog’s haircut was not done as I requested. That being said—I am not complaining about the place nor the groomer but this time around I was just not satisfied with the service today.

Tried Rapawzel for the first time and was extremely pleased. They took their time with both my dogs but I was especially appreciative of how compassionate and careful they were with my older dog who had a matting issue with the hair around the eyes. I will definitely be using their services again. I highly recommend them.

So glad I found this place! I’ve been a couple times now and they are so patient with my reactive / fearful dog. The grooming takes a bit longer than some other places (~3-4 hours) but it’s so worth it for the quality of care. Shout out to Ana for the great haircuts as well!

Bruno does a great job at grooming both my poodles. I love the fact that you can just text to make appointments & also communicate with the groomer via text. Makes everything so much easier.My dogs are very comfortable with him and they don’t panic as they use to when I use to take them else where. Mobile Grooming is the best! Bruno was so gentle with my dog. Teddy looked great after his bath and haircut. Bruno was very understanding as Teddy has a lot of anxiety and issues with his sensitive skin. I have been using Rapawzel Mobile Grooming for a few years and they are wonderful!

First time using this service it was an amazing experience. They’re very professional and my dogs look adorable. Can’t wait for the next visit.

I had my cat groomed there in Fall 23. Great staff and she was much happier having her nails trimmed, getting a good cut, ears washed, etc. The groomers are very skilled, scheduling is very easy and Marcella, the receptionist, was very attentive to our needs. We are definitely going back.

Always a great experience for my little girl Violet. She smells wonderful, her ears are delicately cleaned which is a problem area for us, and her nails are nicely trimmed. Jonathan always recommends the de shedding treatment and it works wonders; there’s less fur in the house when I clean! Looking forward to our next appointment!

We brought our 2 dogs to rapawzel in bayside for the first time this week. We were especially nervous about our terrier mix because he is very high strung. They calmed him down quickly and did a fantastic grooming job on him and our shih tzu. We were extremely happy with them and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I wasn’t impressed with the grooming services. Maybe it could be the groomer that day. But I would not give them a second chance I work for my money.The service wasn’t worth 100 dollars. The owner should re evaluate and retrain her staff. I asked for a trim with scissors and they still used clippers.

We have been coming here for a while now and drive about 30 mins just to get our boy Blue groomed here. We are always happy with how he looks and the people who work there are all very sweet! They also have a nice selection of dog toys and jackets/sweaters.
