Bed and Biscuits is just awesome! They have been so accommodating and friendly every time I’m there. My Chocolate Lab June absolutely loves it there. When we pull up in in the morning she can’t get out of the car fast enough. When I pick her up in the evening she is worn out and if you know Labs that’s almost impossible. Especially an 8 month old Lab! I highly recommend Bed and Biscuits of Ithaca.

Staff are friendly and my first impression was good. However, there were some issues with my dog’s stay.I purchased Busy Dog Package and was supposed to get daily photo updates, but no photos at all. I even called them during the stay, they promised me they will send me photos, but not at all. Upon picking up my dog, they offered to provide me some credits as a compensation, but I didn’t get any credits at all.Back home I found a scar at the corner of my dog’s eye, but they didn’t mention it.Hopefully you will take the feedback seriously and improve.

Absolutely fantastic!The team at Bed and Biscuit is super friendly and my dog loves them. This is saying a lot since my boy is usually wary of new people. I’ve boarded him here twice and the second time I dropped him off, he couldn’t wait to go. He gave the team member at drop off a big hug. I love that they post photos of the dogs on their Facebook site regularly so I can see my boy and the other cute dogs while I’m away. They always looks so happy. They definitely tailor their service to the individual dog. The site is also very clean and well managed.

Bed and Biscuit was a great place for my dog! He did daycare, as well as occasional boarding, and the staff are wonderful! They do a great job of supervising dogs in daycare, communicating about and addressing any behavioral concerns that come up, and are patient with questions. My dog was always happy to get there and play with other dogs and I was happy knowing he would be well taken care of.

I was a little nervous to board my cat for the first time, but Bed and Biscuit was a wonderful experience. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable, and it seems like my cat adjusted very well. Ill definitely be back!

It is never easy to leave a pet with someone else let alone strangers. It is doubly anxiety provoking when you have to leave your pet in an emergency situation and in a new city. When faced with such a situation last week, all we could do is look on line and hope that the high reviews that The Bed and Biscuit had received were genuine. I can’t express how relieved I was to discover the gem that The Bed and Biscuit is. My pup came back happy, not stressed, and I could swear cleaner and brushed. The Bed and Breakfast is run by genuinely nice people who love dogs. They offer a wide range of options from day, to short stay, to long stay with bonus packages of entertainment for your pet. I wholeheartedly recommend giving them a try. I know we feel much more calm knowing that our dog will always be well received and happy to go there. It’s always necessary to have a boarding facility at the ready for your pet because you just never know when you’ll need one. Thank you for the great experience!

I have a shorkie, which has more of a shi-tsu traits. My wife and i left her on boarding,clean and with her medium length hair well groomed. She was supposed to stay for a week, but we were able to pick her up a day earlier. We she saw us, she was very happy to see us back, jumping and wanting to be over all over us. We took her back to the car and noticed pee smell, and followed at this, when she calmed herself down, we noticed her tail was a complete mat. She had huge mats under her ears and sticking to pee on her paws. Once at home, we gave her a full bath, but even then her paws still smell to pee. I spent 3 hours trying to undo all the mats she got at the place, but is a never ending work. I sincerely do not know how you treat dog there, leaves much to say when it comes to mine. On top of that, we left food for her that at home usually lasts about 2 weeks, and was surpeised to get a call saying her food was about to run out. In the begginig we thought was a good thing, she was eating well, but even more surprising was to hear that wasnt the case, they served her food with water (i wonder why... i a 1 and a half year dog, not an old one that has no teeth), and they throw it away. As final note, i want to thank you Bed and Biscuit staff, I spent months and many many hours taking care of her hair, and you managed to ruin months work in less than a week, something that even without taking care of her hair would result impossible at home. And please, answer this question: do you leave dogs to walk on their (or other dogs) pee? I surely do not find any explanation at how it could happen.

Five star facility and service. We boarded our two dogs for the weekend and had a marvelous experience. The dogs are both rescues so we worry about kenneling them, but the care and kindness they received was extraordinary—right down to the daily (twice in one day) email reports. We are so very grateful and highly recommend the kennel to anyone looking for a home away from home for their pets.

Our black Lab loves everyone at Bed and Biscuit and they love her. She especially loves the homemade treat for the ride home. We have been using Bed and Biscuit for the past 3 years and we are very pleased with their service and we highly recommend it.

I wouldnt leave my dogs anywhere else. Weve used B&B for years with many dogs, and every one of them has loved Bed and Biscuit. I have complete confidence that when we leave a pet there, the pet will be safe and happy!

We’ve been leaving our senior dog with Bed and Biscuit when we travel for the past three years. The staff is great, and our dog seems content every time we pick her up. With past boarding experiences elsewhere, our dog has come back stressed out and with an upset stomach, but she’s always happy and healthy when we pick her up from B&B. Grateful that we can trust them to take such great care of our pup.

We frequently send our dogs here and they always come home happy and tired. Never had a bad experience. Staff are friendly and I can see my dogs are happy when we arrive so they must be treated right!

I have been using Bed and Biscuit for a number of years for boarding. We recently had to be in NYC for a couple weeks and we boarded our Aussie Shepherd, Scarlett. They had constantly posted photos of Scarlett outside running around and having fun, so I knew they were keeping her busy and happy.When we returned and went to pick her up, she looked great (even her nails were cut!), happy and relaxed. I so appreciated Bed and Biscuit taking great care of my girl!And the best thing, is they are literally 5 minutes from my house!Thanks to everyone on staff for doing a wonderful job!Lisa MacLeod

When we picked our dogs up after two weeks at Bed and Biscuit they were happy and healthy, not stressed in any way. Their medication had been given correctly. All our requests regarding their care were honored. An excellent place; we will bring our dogs there whenever we are away from home.Update: we have now boarded our dogs 3 times at Bed and Biscuit (10 days stay each time) and are thoroughly happy with this place in every way. The staff are caring, concerned and love animals. Our beloved dogs have been beautifully cared for. A definite 5 stars.

Our dog loves to go to Bed and Biscuit, where the personnel knows her by name, and are always happy to take care of her when we are away. The staff is very kind, knowledgeable and dedicated. The facility is spacious and each dog has customized attention and service.

My dogs love going to Bed and Biscuit for boarding. There are two places in this world where they drag me to the door, practically taking my arm right off- their agility classes and Bed and Biscuit. I trust Lazlo and his staff to keep my dogs safe and happy while I am away traveling.

6/2024 Update: We continue to be so impressed by the wonderful services, care, and attention the staff at Bed and Biscuit give our pups. The new owners seem to the the needs of the dogs above all else — and the fact that so many of the former staff have stayed on board gives us great comfort. Both our pups have special needs, and we have no concern they receive the home cooked diet we provide, as well as their medications and supplements. As with previous dogs, the two we have now come home happy and content.We couldnt be more thrilled with Bed and Biscuit. All of our dogs have boarded there — they come home happy and content. Our current pooch is also a regular day care participant. To say hes excited to arrive each week is an understatement — hes ecstatic! Lazslo and Giselle run a great place.

Beth came home exhausted and happy. I could tell she ate well, as her weight was the same. She loves Shane, and playing with all the dogs. We go to day care and weve boarded. They take care to ensure my Beth gets her Kong with her special prescription wet food, and are professional with drop offs and pick ups that cause the least stress on Beth. Their facilities are clean and tidy. I know Beth is safe and secure when she is there. And since you choose a play package, I know shes getting lots of play time!

We have taken our pups here for many years, they have never disappointed us. They offer a warm, nurturing and safe environment. No worries ( i worried the first time or two, my goldens are my loves, but not anymore).

Our dog has stayed at Bed and Biscuit during 3 of our trips now. Hes excited and pulling at his leash to get in the door when we drop him off and seems happy and relaxed when we pick him up. I love that we can see photos of him playing with the other dogs on Facebook while were away! Its not the least expensive option, but its so worth it to know that hes well cared for and having fun!

It is always hard to leave our dog, but I never worry when she is at Bed and Biscuit. She has stayed multiple times, from a few days to over a week, and she is always well taken care of. Gizellas good-bye treats are the best!

We were very happy with the care our pets received during their stay. Check in and check out was painless, as was the online booking process. One of our dogs is the nervous type, and they let me take her back to her room when she was resisting the handoff. Its worth the extra expense when compared with other local boarding facilities.

This is our first time at Bed and Biscuit, which we found listed on the Cayuga Dog Rescue website and was also recommended by a friend. We were very impressed by the thoroughness of the registration, the different packages offered, the careful attention to the dogs needs and routines (including medications), and with the fact that our two dogs, Gus and Callie, could room together. When we dropped them off they were both healthy and happy and when we picked them up four days later they were both happy and healthy. When we travel, we will be boarding them with Bed and Biscuit.

Our dog is Deaf and requires a little extra TLC when going to new places. Laszlo and his team made her feel right at home that she for sure didnt want to leave. They post pictures everyday and other updates upon request and very communicative. We already made plans to board her again as well as weekly day care as they have a great yard for pups to run around and get some energy out. We love Bed and Biscuit!!!

Ill never feel guilty about boarding my dog again. She comes home happy and exhausted!Edit: I know there are now new owners, but it appears to have been a seamless transition.(April, 24). No issues. They continue to keep posting the Facebook pics, and Allie sleeps for two days after I pick her up. Well done! (This is one of their photos - tell me shes not happy!)

The Bed and Biscuit is great! My dogs love going there, and I feel very comfortable leaving them in such good care. It gives me peace of mind knowing that they are safe and happy while I am away. The staff loves my dogs as much as I do, and they treat them that way!

Laszlo and his team take great care of our animals! Our dog goes regularly for daycare and we recently boarded her for the first time. We knew our pup was in the best hands and it was great to see the photos of her playing throughout the day. When we picked her up she was a happy girl and exhausted from all the fun she had at B&B!We also boarded our cats at B&B a few months ago for 10 days. When we picked them up they were happy and healthy.We will continue to use B&B to take care of our animals as they are an amazing and caring team.

My dogs usually stay at home with a sitter when we go out of town, but none of my regulars were available when we had to go out of town for 5 days in mid-March. I have to admit, I was a little hesitant to kennel them because I had not had a good experience with kennels in the past. That was before I found Bed and Biscuit! They took amazing care of my pups, and I was thrilled to see what great condition they were in when I picked them up. I loved being able to go on Facebook each night and see them in photos, romping in the yard and having the time of their lives! I am so glad to have found them and will definitely be using them in the future. Thank you SO MUCH, Bed and Biscuit!

The Bed and Biscuit is so much more than a kennel--it truly is a country club for dogs! Dogs who stay there are treated with deep love and kindness by all of the staff, reside in warm, cozy, incredibly clean and comfy indoor / outdoor kennels that have heated floors and are stocked with beds or blankies for snuggling, and they get to play in large,securely fenced yards with other friendly, playful dogs. The husband-wife owners oversee all aspects of the kennel experience and are the warmest, kindest, most caring and responsible people possible. They profoundly love dogs and genuinely want every dog who stays with them to have a wonderful experience.I know all of this because I run Cayuga Dog Rescue, a local nonprofit dog rescue, and for the past 10+ years, our rescue has been fortunate to have the Bed and Biscuit Kennel as the official kennel of our rescue! Whenever our dogs get to stay at the kennel we feel so fortunate, as we know that they will get loads of love and will be happy, comfortable, and safe.Our dogs, and we, love the Bed and Biscuit Kennel!!!!!

My dog is a rescue from a shelter, and I was worried about leaving him at a kennel (this was the first time leaving him since I had adopted him). He loved his stay at Bed and Biscuit, I could tell when I got back he was not stressed or anxious. They also sent me a wonderful video of his playtime in their wonderful facility. It seemed he was getting the one-on-one playtime that he needed. They were also very accommodating of his special diet. I love this place! I recommend it to everyone. Wonderful service and care of your pet!

I had to do a last minute booking for my dog (booked it at 10:30 PM and brought him in for a weeks stay the next morning) and Lazlo was so responsive and kind which was so appreciated. My dog had a great time from what I could see in his report card and he looked happy to see me, but not necessarily in a rush to go home which I consider a win! Im so thankful for Bed and Biscuit and will definitely book them for boarding and/or day care when Im in Ithaca in the future.

Our dog, now almost 10 years old, has been going to the Bed and Biscuit since he was a puppy, for both boarding and dog daycare. He loves his time there so much that all we have to do is mention Bed and Biscuit and hes at the door ready to get in the car. We know he gets a lot of personal attention from the owners, who are caring and attentive. The group play is a plus.The facilities are clean and extensive. We are always confident boarding our dog at the Bed and Biscuit.

We recently boarded our cats at Bed and Biscuits and had a wonderful experience! Our cats were unenthusiastic about boarding and really had trouble adjusting. All of the staff and the owners were wonderful and did everything possible to make them feel comfortable and gave me at least once to twice daily updates on their progress. They were there almost a full week and I couldnt be more happy with the care they received. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for pet boarding!

Our dog has been going here for over a year for daycare and just loves it (the first few months we literally had to carry her out because she didnt want to leave. These days I can bribe her to come home with treats). Its a beautiful space with big yards and a good sheltered area. The online client portal makes updating vaccine documents and schedules very easy, and its very easy to communicate with the staff via email. And I love seeing the pics they post on Facebook of the dogs having fun together! The only draw back for us is that we live 45 minutes away and the road is pretty twisty turny, which is tricky for my car in winter. But its a great place and our dog is very happy there.

We love Bed & Biscuit of Ithaca. The owners have watched and cared for our high-energy Airedales for about a decade and each visit is better than the last. The owners dont let business be usual, they strive to stay ahead of the times, offer thoughtful amenities for varying budgets, and help us feel comfortable leaving a loved one in their care. They even notified us of a dog in the adoption cycle they thought we might like - and they were right! Theres no limit to my positive feelings for this business.

This was my first time using a dog boarding service and I was nervous about my dog being homesick. Everyone at Bed and Biscuit were amazing - they responded to my email asking how Hal was doing right away, and posted pictures on Facebook that immediately alleviated my worries as Hal was obviously having the time of his life with his dog friends. Onsite drop-off and pick-up was safe and easy, and their follow-up letting me know how my dog did during his stay, along with a photo album, made me feel like he was not only well looked after during his stay, but genuinely cared for. Great place!

When we have to travel I want to make sure our dogs are well taken care of. Since they are very athletic, boarding them where they are stuck in a dog run is not a good option. That’s why we love Bed and Bisquit. When I see the pictures of our dogs outside playing with other dogs, I know they’re in a good place. There is no where I’d rather board our dogs.

Our one-year-old Doodle just completed 11 days of boarding at Bed and Biscuit. He returned home happy, healthy, clean and fresh, and well fed and exercised! He goes weekly to Bed and Biscuit for day camp and loves it! I believe his earlier day camp experience at Bed and Biscuit prepared him for his first boarding experience. He became familiar with the facility, the other dogs, and the wonderful, caring, staff members. We are so thankful for the loving care our pooch receives from Bed and Biscuit!

As the owners of a rescue dog with some behavioral challenges, were thankful to have found a place for our pup to safely stay while were away. We especially appreciate the excellent communication from the owners and staff, and the time theyve taken to answer our questions. Its also wonderful that every dog gets time to explore and run around a safe, fenced area - either individually or in groups.

My dog-child, Grace, is always in good hands at Bed and Biscuit. While youre away, you can rest assured that the facilities are in great condition and that your beloved companion is being take care of and shown all of the love that they can muster up. Laszlo and his wife have assembled a team at Bed and Biscuit, whos mission is to keep our animals safe, well-fed, and socialized (should you choose that) with other animals of a similar size or a with one of the staff. You dont have to bring anything extra because Bed and Biscuit has it all. Whenever we leave Grace, we always bring her bed because its something that has her scent and to which she is accustomed to sleeping on. Weve just gotten an additional dog, and I know that once shes ready, shell enjoy Bed and Biscuit, too!

We’ve taken our dog to Bed and Biscuit several times now for boarding. Lazlo and the staff do an excellent job of caring for our dog. We’ve used other boarders in the past and afterwards our dog seems miserable when we pick him up, not at Bed and Biscuit though. They’ve always provided excellent care and service, and to my amazement they continue to improve upon that service. Our most recent experience included a “report card” of our dogs stay, which just helped to reinforce the quality of care and attention they provided to our dog during his stay. Thank you for continuing to be the best!

We boarded our 6 month old puppy for the weekend while visiting family. It was her first time away from us and we were nervous. The people at Bed and Biscuit were so great! We got the puppy package and some extra treats. Xena got extra loving and walks and even had separate playtime with the other puppies instead of being let out with the big dogs. 10/10 would recommend!

What a wonderful experience for our pet. First time not leave our dog with family and she had a wonderful time. Staff was excellent and took care of her.

Bed and Biscuit has taken care of our dog several times and she is ALWAYS excited to go. In fact, she gets happy feet the minute we turn onto Bostwick Road. Knowing that she is happy and well-cared for puts my mind at ease and allows me to enjoy my time away.

Grateful for an excellent experience with Bed and Biscuit, especially for a first-time boarding experience. Doxies Miles and Jack had a great time at camp! The staff was available for check-ins, and how great to see photos of them on FB during their stay. At pick-up, one care giver made a point to share sweet things about her time with them. Really appreciate the genuine care!

After problems at a different kennel, we decided to take our dog here for a 6-night boarding. Im happy to say we had no issues and this seems like a reliable kennel for day care or extended boarding.Pros:- Very responsive. You can text them through the website and expect a response within the day. I sent a message while we were away just to check in, and they gave specifics about how our dog was doing and another dog she especially enjoyed playing with.- Safe location. Its set back in a wooded area, with a large yard that has very high fences. The dogs also have an extension from their own kennels that go outside while their area is cleaned.- Formal schedule for each day. They can tell you when the dogs are fed, which hours are play time, when its nap time, etc. Pick-up and drop-off times are limited to reduce interruptions/constant barking.- Personally, our dog was in very good spirits and health when we picked her up. She actually looked better than when we dropped her off (i.e., a small injury on her foot had healed while she was there).Cons:- Its pricier than other boarding kennels ($50+ a day), and the price might be misleading if you dont read the information carefully on their website. That said, the price reflects the quality, so as long as future stays result in a similarly good experience for our dog, I can only recommend them.

Im grateful to the Bed & Biscuit for providing a safe home away from home for my dog Piper. She has been going to doggy daycare there since she was a puppy to socialize and play with other dogs. I also board Piper when I am away and it gives me so much peace of mind. I could not be happier with their services, staff, and coming home to a happy and healthy dog.

Bed and Biscuit is the best kennel /boarding we have ever been to. They were so accommodating in an emergency situation. It put my mind at ease to see the beautiful location, all the friendly staff and how quick and efficient they are.There were at least 4 other dogs coming in when I was getting Murphy (dog) registered. They did not skip a beat ! The staff would come up front greet the incoming dog and take them to the back so the owner could be out the door in less than a minute!When I called to check on Murphy they were kind and helpful ... if you are going out of town or just need some playtime for your dog this is the place to go ! Excellent service , reasonable prices and a very happy dog ! Thank you ..we look forward to many future visits !

This is the best pet hotel we’ve been to! Our dog stayed at Bed & biscuits for a little over a week. Normally she would get a bit upset after a long stay at a pet hotel, but this time she came back a very happy doggie! Laszlo and his team are super attentive to everything your pets need, and are a group of wonderful people that will love your pets like their own.

My dogs had so much fun, the daily updates were wonderful for me. I was nervous as this was the first time leaving my dogs. I have to say my dogs didnt want to leave and that says a lot. We will definitely use Bed and Biscuit of Ithaca again. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my babies.

We haven’t kenneled a dog in many years so we were nervous about sending our Roscoe for three days. We did a get acquainted day a few days before our trip, which I think was a good idea. Roscoe was excited to be back and based on Facebook photos, he has a great time during his boarding. The facilities look great, with lots of room for the dogs to play. The staff are friendly in the brief interactions I’ve had with them. We intend to send Roscoe for occasional play days and would not hesitate boarding him there again.

Our family loves Bed & Biscuit! Laszlo and Gizella are wonderful owners and they really care about all the furry friends who frequent their care. They know our pups by name, even when its been months between visits. Our two small dogs, a shih tzu and poodle mix, are able to room together and they seem to enjoy all the attention and playtime while theyre being boarded. Zuzu & Honey always come home happy, bathed, and with a homemade treat.If you love your dog and want to be sure theyll have as enjoyable a vacation as you, then Bed & Biscuit is the place to book!

Our pets are our family and weve trusted Gisella and Laszlo with them for many years. Never once have we ever had any kind of difficulty. On the contrary, our pets are diligently cared for (for example they know our dogs eating habits, how he likes to play, what his quirks are) and they return to us every single time happy and healthy. Whenever our pets have needed medicine or a special diet, they accommodate us. The kennel is a great facility, well-maintained. They clearly love their work and are very dedicated to their clients. Im thankful to have them in our community.

We leave our two dogs and cat here when we go out of town. They are always well cared for with attention to detail. The facilities are clean and the staff seem kind and caring. I like that the dogs have their own door to the outside.

Laszlo and his team do an amazing job of watching my dog while I have to go away for couple of days. Our puppy always is excited to go there and see the other dogs. When he comes home he’s happy, healthy, and are given a nice frozen dog treat. I’d definitely recommended using them if in the area.

We had to move to California, and Bed and Biscuit is what I miss most about Ithaca!! Right now we are trying to find a kennel to leave Bailey at for two weeks over Christmas, and I wish I could just call up our favorite Ithaca kennel.Our dog Bailey always walks right into their office. Weve boarded her there probably 10 + times since her puppyhood (shes 3 now) and weve never had a bad experience. Their exercise facilities are 5-star (tall fences, grass outside yard, and covered yard for hot or rainy days). I love that it is an incredibly small staff - its nice to know who will be caring for your dog. They also have extremely high quality dog food and treats, but are happy to feed your dogs preferred food if you bring it.One time I had to board Bailey for a very long stretch, and at check out they gave me a free bag of dog treats. Not to mention the fact that they board foster dogs for Cayuga Dog Rescue. They really are nice people!Ive worked in two different kennels before, and I feel comfortable with their kennel set up.-Rebecca

My sibling and I have boarded our lovely, neurotic pooch here twice now. juno struggles when interacting with other dogs, he has separation anxiety, and when I have to leave him behind, I also struggle with the separation. when we leave him with bed & biscuit, they make sure he gets solo playtime with humans only and that he gets plenty of attention. they also send us daily report cards so we know that hes doing well, hes eating properly, etc. the rate we pay for the quality of service we get is more than fair. well be coming back soon!

My experience at the Bed and Biscuit could not have been any better. I boarded my cat (who i adore) for almost and entire month. Upon visiting the facilities I was instantly reassured by the cleanliness, size, set up, and by the warmth and friendliness of Laszlo and Gizella. They went above and beyond taking care of my cat, they even drove to the store to by him food when his brand ran out. That is amazing service.I cannot recommend this place any more, the value is incredible, and everything was perfect!

These folks no what there doing we have never had a to be concerned about leaving our dog Bentley for boarding or day care they have always taken the time to ask if there are any concerns regarding our pets stay they are very very thorough especially when leaving your pet for boarding Getting all the information that is needed for your pets stay asking anything from medicines to feeding as well as making sure all pets have their required shots. As a heads up write down all your questions you may have and they will answer them the best they can all in all we have been taking bentley there for shy of two years and will continue to do so! It has been a great place for Bentley!

Lola, our poodle, has a great time at Bed and Biscuit every time she goes there. I enjoy the fact that Lazso took the time to get to know her and was very helpful and forthcoming our first time there and continues to be a wonderful font of information and assistance each time we go back... Lola loves the fact that she gets to play endlessly! Highly recommended!

Bed & Biscuit is amazing. Our ridgeback LOVES coming here. We have been boarding him here for a while, anywhere from a couple nights to long trips. It is such a relief to leave your doggo somewhere you know hes happy. The owners/employees are very nice and responsive in communication/booking.

Easy to make a reservation. The cat area appeared to be clean and had large pens for each cat, with a wall separating litter box and sleeping areas. Glad to have a window option for my cat. My cat had no other feline company the week he was there, but I was told by his caregiver that he got a chance to be out in the room. Limited hours for drop off/pick up can be an issue, depending on your trip, but understandable. I would rather have peaceful time for my pet than people coming and going at all hours for that.

Our dog cant wait to get to Bed & Biscuit when we take him there, and hes always happy and healthy when we pick him up. I appreciate the flexibility - sometimes were not sure when well get home after a trip, and B&B always accommodates us.

We boarded our Golden Retriever, Mellie, at Bed and Biscuit for the first time, and I highly recommend them! I was nervous because Mellie has some special needs having undergone a leg amputation a few years ago due to osteosarcoma. The owner, Laszlo, was prompt when returning emails, and the website was very accurate and informative. I emailed during the week to check in on Mellie and received a lovely email back, which was so comforting. I also really enjoyed being able to see Mellie in action during the week on the Facebook page photo posts! Mellie seemed so calm and relaxed after her stay, which assured me that she enjoyed her time at Bed and Biscuit!

Monty loves going to the Bed and Biscuit. He is always so tired and happy when he comes home. We use Bed and Biscuit for both daycare and boarding. Some may think it is expensive but knowing he is so well cared for provides such piece of mind. I would recommend Bed and Biscuit 💯 and so would Monty!

When I brought my puppy home during the pandemic, I knew things like proper socialization were going to need to be dealt with in a way that was at least a bit new (I had never taken my previous dogs to daycare or boarded them, but I wanted the new pup to be comfortable with both - and having a facility that provided these options was key). I started Redford off with 1 x week daycare once he got to his 4 month birthday, and hes been LOVING it ever since! He has a bunch of other doggy (and puppy) friends, and always comes home happy - and, perhaps more importantly, exhausted (because puppies, amirite?). :) Redford enjoys his daycare days so much that when I have especially meeting-heavy days while working from home, I schedule him for extra daycare days knowing that hell get all the attention and playtime possible (while Im spending my time on Zoom). When possible, I use their online system to customize his days - extra treats, extra 1:1 time, or bath/brushing options.The wonderful and professional service by Bed & Biscuit was all the more exemplified recently when I was in Ithaca and we got our first big snowfall of 2020 - much of which fell harder (and started earlier) than expected. The roads were getting awful, and I reached out to Bed & Biscuit via the client portal and asked if they would board Redford overnight because I was concerned about the road conditions and his/my safety if I were to drive out. Laszlo responded quickly, confirmed theyd be happy to have him overnight, and assured me that Redford would be well taken care of (nighttime and morning business walks, treats, warm blankets, a healthy dinner, and so on). I had always planned to board Redford when I was traveling, and Laszlos words eased my anxiety over Redfords unplanned overnight. I ended up figuring it would be a great way to see how Redford would handle such an overnight. I had a daycare day planned for later in the week, I just had that moved to the next day. Laszlo was incredibly accommodating to all these adjustments.Im so appreciative of the Bed & Biscuit folks and all the work they do for the animals in their care. I recommend them without hesitation!

This is the best place to leave your furry friend. I have boarded at other places in the past and nothing compares to the care my dog is given by Laszlo and Gizella. He is always happy to go there and is returned to me healthy and happy. I would recommend Bed & Biscuit to anyone.3/27/19 Unfortunately, due to increased pricing, I have had to stop going here. I have found another place, just as nice, for half the cost. The new place also has a vet on site.

I have been sending my husky, Nala, to daycare here for almost a year now and she enjoys every minute of it. Nala had never been to a daycare and I was really hesitant to trust others with her care, but it was an amazing decision. She cant wait to go in the morning and is always happy and tired when I pick her up in the evening. The staff is incredible and they treat her like their own.

We had a fantastic experience at Bed and Biscuit. Our dog, Ringo, had the best time. He was always excited to go to daycare and came back happy, clean and tired (in a good way!). Mr. Laszlo and the team were kind, professional and were very flexible with our needs, as we travel often and sometimes I needed to bring Ringo earlier or different days. I just contacted them in advance for changes in the schedule, and whenever possible for them, they helped us. For example, Ringo needed a two month stint at daycare this summer and they were kind enough to have that flexibility and let us know they will welcome Ringo in the Fall again if theres availability, even though we dont know exact dates yet.This had been one of the biggest issues with other daycares, as they would not even offer to meet Ringo because of my schedule. I fully recommend Bed and Biscuit, and am very grateful for how much they cared about my pup. We will be back!

We have been bringing our dog to daycare here for almost a year. The staff is friendly, knows the animals, and treats them well. Our pup comes home nice and tired every time. My Golden Retriever, 10 years old, came home in great shape, and full of energy and fun. I think she had a fabulous time!Lazlo and Gizelle gave me great service. She was there for three weeks. They followed my instructions with respect to medicine and food. She had plenty of exercise and swam and played with the other dogs. They posted photos on Facebook so I could see how she was doing while I was away. I needed to change my schedule several times, including having to pick her up a day late at the last minute, and Lazlo was very accommodating. Note they are not native English speakers, so its important to communicate clearly with them. They clearly love dogs and take good care of them!Thank you for everything!

We’ve been bringing our dogs here for over 12 years, we would never bring them anywhere else. Everyone who works here are amazingly kind to our dogs. They even give you homemade dog biscuits for your pups at pick up.

Our pup, Willow, has grown so much through her play with other dogs and time with other friendly people, and we have been so happy knowing she is safe and that she gets lots of interaction, play, and exercise, leaving her more relaxed and manageable once she returns home.

Four years ago, in our search for a kennel that met our high expectations, we discovered the Bed and Biscuit! We were given a very friendly, impressive (unplanned) tour by the owners Laszlo and Gizella, and immediately booked our beloved King Charles Spaniel puppy Laci, who has special needs. Regardless if Laci is playing with her many friends at their Doggie Day Care, staying for a day, two, or for 2 weeks at a time, the high quality of care and TLC is consistent. We have even received email videos of Laci playing while weve been on vacation. In addition, Laci comes home brushed and smelling clean with a freshly washed blanket and even with one of Gizellas homemade Good-Bye Biscuits! We love it, have complete confidence in them and wouldnt even consider taking Laci anywhere else. The Bed and Buiscuit is Lacis home away from home!

My Golden Retriever certainly enjoys himself at Bed & Biscuit when I board him there. It shows the way he cant wait to get in the front door of their facility when I drop him off there. He is a high energy, high drive Dog and they take good care of him. He was on antibiotics and needed a skin treatment daily the last time he stayed there and the staff did a great job with that as well. The hot spot area looked well on its way to healing when I picked him up.

This was our dogs first stay. Otto is a one and one half year old German Shepard. He did great. Staff here works extremely well gaining the trust of your pet. Otto was tentative going in and warmed up to staff well. Thank you!!

I am unsatisfied with the customer service I received at the Bed and Biscuit. We brought him with a harness, because he pulls when he gets excited and chokes himself. The owner did not put the harness on the dog and brought him out with his leash around his neck. Additionally, when I communicated with the owner initially it was my understanding the flat rate was $30.00 and then there were additional services you could put on top of that. When I arrived the other owner asked if I wanted group play which was an additional $12.00. I said isnt the flat rate $30 I dont think I can afford it and she stated no the flat rate was $20.00. So, for a bill that I initially expected to be $160.00 plus tax ended up being $210.00 when I arrived. The owner stated what I initially thought the flat rate was, and we ended up having to pay the whole bill. We will not be bringing him back.

I had to board my dogs for a week. I dont like to board them, and this is the only kennel I will use. Laszlo, Gizella, and the staff know what theyre doing. My dogs were well taken care of, and I didnt worry about them while I was gone.

I was going out of town and was very nervous about boarding my 8 monthold English Bulldog for a few nights. She had been going to daycare oncea week for several months here so I was less concerned about the facility, (its beautiful and super clean) or the staff (she loves them!) but she is mybaby and I was still worried! They sent a detailed item and itinerary that Icould pick from. frozen kongs.a nighttime private walk with a bedtime bellyrub …specialized daytime activities with other friends her age and size and apedicure! Her stay was more luxurious than my own! To sum it up.lets behonest. We dont know what really goes on when we drop our pets off to beboarded. but when she was picked up… smelling delicious and with polishedtoes we were super happy. The following Wednesday (daycare day) sheliterally jumped out of the car and dragged me to the back door barking toget it in! She never does that! Guess she wants another Spa Weekend! Ihighly recommend them and so does Molly! And they post pictures of theirday at Camp! 🥰

I booked for my dog and the price was set. When I checked my reservation again it was 200$ more than we agreed. If I wouldnt have really searched I wouldnt have known that until I picked my dog up. When I called and asked questions the man started yelling and told me that some how itd my fault. If he was that upset and angry about me asking questions I couldnt imagine how they are with peoples animals

Very nice couple and a nice facility, but their limited hours can be inconvenient (only open from 8-10am and 5:30-7). Customer service could be a bit better. I had to pick up my cat the day of a snow storm around 5:30pm, and I dont have 4WD to get up the massive hill where Bed and Biscuit is located. The roads werent plowed and my wheels were spinning. I had to call and explain I couldnt get up the hill, and Lazlo wasnt very helpful in the moment. I hoped he would offer to drive my cat down to me, and when he didnt, I asked if he could house my cat for one more night free of charge, since there was nothing I could do to get up there. He wasnt happy about my request, so I then asked if he would mind driving my cat down to me if I paid him. He was willing to do that for me, which I very much appreciated.Overall a good experience, and my cat seemed well taken care of (though a bit pudgier than when I dropped her off). Id recommend this place.

He knows the way; when we get within a couple of miles heis apoplectic with excitement. Laszlo and Gizella are wonderful with the dogs. Laszlo is areal dog whisperer and is attentive to each dogs needs from a behavior standpoint as wellas feeding, etc.They have been flexible when our plans changed unexpectedly.Over many decades of dog boarding experiences this has been the best.

Weve had three very active Golden Retrievers and all of them have spent time at the Bed and Biscuit. Our current dog has boarded there and also goes to the doggie day camp. Like the others, he loves it! You know they are doing something right when your dog recognizes the owners names and races to front door ready to get in the car when you mention going there. Lazlo and Gisella have treated them as if they were their own pets and we could not hope for a more caring and individually tailored environment. The facilities are spacious and spotless. The outdoor play area is large and securely fenced, and we like having the various options of supervised group play, individual play, individual walks, etc. When our dogs have boarded there we take their own food and Lazlo and Gizella are always happy to accommodate special needs in food or medication. We never worry about our dogs while they are there. We know they are in good hands, not bored, and having fun.
