Love it every time we go. Most dogs are super cute and well behaved, great place to get the zoomies out of your dog. Dont let the not-so-great dogs ruin your experience, Ive been here countless times and maybe had a hiccup three times. Dogs can be unpredictable, just be aware of your dogs and your situation. Places to pick up poop are helpful too, no need to bring people bags but definitely clean up the poops!
Best and biggest dog park weve been to. There is a separate area for the smaller dogs and a huge area for all dogs. Well maintained mostly grass with a walking path around and a water area with a couple pools and drinking bowls.
BEWARE Cornell hat lady with malamute and black Volvo sedan. I will not bring my dog here again. If you do decide to, please watch out for young woman in Cornell hat and puffy dog looking like a malamute. Dog bit my little one on the snout full puncture wound, visible blood all over her white snout, my finger running blood from breaking up the fight while the owner was standing there on her phone for minutes not stopping her dog approaching mine or after it attacked. She STAYED on phone seeing blood everywhere, answered me that she was on the phone when i pointed out that our injuries were from her dog (as if she couldn’t tell), she then led dog away refusing to exchange info, so i could not even find out if her dog had a rabies shot. Police report has been filed, but she and dog could come back before any action is taken. Parked erratically, not in regular spot despite only a few spots being filled.
Great dog park. Spacious, clean and quite busy, so there are often several dogs (and people) there.
BE CAREFULLY WITH THIS GOLDEN RETRIEVER AND ITS DOG OWNERS THEY WILL BITE!!!!Our experience at the dog park started off peacefully, with our furry friends enjoying their playtime. However, things took a concerning turn when a woman arrived with her golden retriever. Sadly, this dog displayed aggressive behavior, attacking one of the other dogs without any intervention from its owner. To our shock, the aggression escalated as the retriever bit another innocent dog, and the owner remained unresponsive. What was even more distressing was the owners lack of action and the use of insulting language towards another dog owner. Its disheartening to see such behavior in a place meant for joy and interaction among our canine companions. We urge fellow dog lovers to exercise caution and avoid any interaction with this particular owner and their aggressive golden retriever. Lets prioritize the safety and well-being of our beloved pets by steering clear of potentially dangerous situations. Stay vigilant and ensure a peaceful and enjoyable experience for all at the dog park.
Best dog park in upstate NY by far. The only problem is the standing water that pools for many days during the summer. As noted by multiple area veterinarians, the current water situation creates a breeding ground for harmful bacteria and parasites.
My dogs love this dog park. It is huge, grassy, fenced and has a separate section for small dogs. Most owners clean up after their dogs using the provided tools. Occasionally, someone doesnt, which is disappointing but not extreme. There are a few benches in the shade and a water fountain, for dogs to drink and cool off. Plenty of parking and beautiful scenery of Cayuga Lake. Most owners are diligent in keeping peace among dogs and there isnt much conflict. Its a great place. We drive 30 miles to visit a few times a week, because there is no space like this where we live.
Great dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs. All grass, with drinking water on site. Has some toys like wading pools and balls. Plentiful, free parking. Highly recommended for local dogs making regular visits or for a quick stop with your travelling pooch who needs a run and dog social time as you visit the area.
Love this dog park! I have 2 pugs who love it as well. There is a small dog park for dogs under 20lbs as well as a any size part. Both sides have kitty pools and a way to fill them up along with plenty of dog bowls. Seems to stay very clean. I havent seen anyone not clean up after their dog.
My dog loves it here
Pretty outstanding after visiting dog parks in many states. Lots of space, very green here this summer.
Biggest dog park Ive ever been to. It has clean up stations for poop and faucets with water. Itd be incredible if there was someone who could contribute to its development. Like some tunnels or things for dogs to play on or play with but thats a dream. My dog loves it there.
My pup loved it here! Had a couple of kid pools ready to lounge in.
Amazing place to take your pup in Ithaca! There is a small dog area, and a place to compost dog waste. Please make sure your dog is up to date on vaccines and well-mannered. Protocol is for aggressive dogs to leave after an event. Everyone here is always friendly and observant of rules.
Its pretty good but honestly it depends on who brings their dogs here. Sometimes people bring very aggressive dogs and I just turn around and leave. I do feel like the park is too big, if your dog runs off and gets attacked, you may be lagging behind by a lot since its so large. But overall a nice park thats well-kept.
Its HUGE in comparison to other dog parks Ive visited. The separate area for big dogs and little dogs is quite nice as well. Great atmosphere. We cant wait to go again.
Spacious and clean dog park with plenty of toys and water. Has a fenced section for small dogs and another general section. Friendly dogs and friendly owners.
Largest grassed dog park youll find. Small and large dog enclosures. Very busy on the weekends.
Well frequented dog park with small and large dog areas. The small dog area limit is 25#. Walking trail inside large/all dog area, with water and room to throw a ball. 3 entrances to large area 1 entrance for small dog area and a gate can be used in between. Walking trail ajoining that has lake/marina view.
The large space affords me the choice to take my older dog away from the fray. We have been regulars since she was a pup. As she has aged, she doesnt always enjoy the rambunctious youngsters!
Lovely time. Dolly enjoys being able to run off leash, and spending time playing with the other dogs in the park.
Large open area, some trees. 4 entrances. Adjacent to long paved path. Large parking area. Located in the Marine Park. Negative is no pick up bsgs are provided and you tote your doggy waste home for disposal.
Dog park is fenced and separate from the public park.
Its really a great dog park.if you bag your poo, take it with you. we compost it here! scoop & drop it in the poop bucket. no plastic needed.
Great, large, clean, dog park with both a small dog and all dog area. I recommend going during off hours, as it can sometimes be overwhelming at peak hours.
Dog feces everywhere. Needs to be cleaned up. Otherwise a beautiful park your dog will love.
Love this place always clean. It needs more sign it kinda hard to find if you never been there. But everyone if freindly the dog s get their energy out.
This is always my go to dog park. I drive almost 2 hours just to bring my dog here on the weekends because my dog loves it so much.
Great place for the dogs to play..
It was the biggest dog park we have been to. We took our dog there again before headed home. Our dog was a happy boy. 🐕 😊
Nice place, hugh. Separate areas for large and small dogs. Several stations for poop pickup.
Always well kept and clean. Great space for pups of all sizes to get their zoomies out.
Large space for the dogs. Pretty well kept. Dogs had so much fun!
Great park!! People are pretty respectful and watch their dogs!
Lovely dog park - off leash
People pick up their dogs poo most of the time and there are many dogs for my dog (the cutest one) to play with.
Been going for over 20 years, its a fantastic park
