My two rescue pups LOVE this place! Lynn is highly responsive and they always come home happy and excited, and trot right back in on every visit. A home away from home!
Lynn runs an amazing and safe experience for our pups. They wake us up in anticipation of their favorite two days at Camp Bellyrub and come home exhausted and happy. No place better for our Labs.
Camp Belly Rub is the absolutely best! As a single dog mom who works full time, I truly couldnt be more grateful for their services. Lynn and all the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I feel safe leaving my pup with them, and enjoy watching him on the cameras during the day. Furthermore, my dog absolutely loves this place. I love seeing the way he perks up when I say, Ready to go to daycare?! I feel lucky to have found this place, the care + community it provides, and I know my doggo is happy too!
With Thanksgiving on the horizon, I would like to share about something I am so grateful for: Lynn Pino and Camp Bellyrub. For the past three years, she steadfastly helped me with my rescue dog, Shanti. Although Camp Bellyrub is not a rescue facility, Lynn has expertise in the issues rescue dogs can have. She helped me deal with Shanti’s anxiety by making it affordable to have both Bobo and Shanti come to camp, as well as advice and resources related to food, medications, training and my own mindset. When it became evident that Shanti needed something other than my apartment situation, Lynn offered to post on Facebook and help me screen potential adopters. As it turns out, CBR’s own Tori agreed to take Shanti into her family. I could not be more grateful to have Shanti with someone she knows and can still see Bobo! The love that Lynn and everyone at CBR show towards the dogs, as well as respect and support of the dog parents is incredible. Thank you so much!
Camp Belly Rub is an amazing place. I have been bringing my dog here for, I believe, almost 3 years. Now she goes every day. Lynn and her staff are incredibly caring people and love the dogs so much. I really don’t know what we would have done if we hadn’t had Camp Belly Rub for the past several years. They offer the first day free to make sure that your dog safely gets along with the others. I knew from day one, when our Bailey came home happy (not wanting to leave) yet tired, that this was the place to go. Thanks for everything you do!
I love being able to take my dog to Camp Belly Rub. I chose this place because a couple of my co-workers recommended it.I love their hours. 6:30 AM to 6 PM. That gives me plenty of time to drop my dog off and get to work in the morning without rushing, and also no rush after work to pick her up. I havent had need, but they also offer a pickup/dropoff service for a small extra fee. When I first visited for our temperament test (my dog is a Doberman), I asked for access to the cameras so I could check in on my pup. Lynn promptly set the cameras up on my phone and accepted me into the facebook group. The copious daily photos and videos and are fun to see even when my dog isnt there). I frequently check in on my pup to make sure shes getting along and playing nicely. I credit Camp Belly Rub with the great temperament she has developed.I would 100% recommend Camp Belly Rub.
My pup loves this place and so do I! No one else in the area takes better care of your pup than Lynn and her staff. They are open, honest, fun-loving and very knowledgeable. Camp Belly Rub is rescue dog friendly and mixed breed dog friendly. I appreciate their no surprises style. I can check up on my pup anytime via an App on my Smartphone and I always see staff interacting with the dogs - dancing, petting, playing with toys, etc. We love, love, love this place!!!!!!
Our dogs love coming into Camp Belly Rub. Once we get out of the car and they see the door and hear the dogs, they get so excited and I can barely hold them still to get their harnesses off! Lynn and her staff have been amazing. And the grooming has been top-notch. Not sure what we would do without them whenever we take a day trip and we cant take 2 small dogs with us.
The owner Lynn is very nice and knowledgeable. Made us feel comfortable leaving our very scared rescue dog there. She even sends a mid day update on the first day. It’s very comforting to be able to watch them on the cameras. Our dog now goes and plays with other dogs and has a blast!
I take my dog there 2-3 days a week & I ALWAYS feel as if my dog is safe there. Lynn & the staff there are amazing people & do amazing job. Anyone leaving negative reviews are just doing it for attention because of an unfortunate accident & have never actually brought their dog there. Otherwise they wouldnt be leaving negative reviews. Dont let peoples uninformed opinions about things they know nothing about dissuade you from bringing your dog there. I promise itll be your dogs favorite place.
Our Aussie loves spending the day at Camp Belly Rub! She is well looked after and gets to play & socialize with other dogs all day long. The facility is clean & secure. Lynn & her staff go above and beyond, and I truly believe they love and care for each dog as their own! If you are searching for an accommodating and trustworthy doggy day care look no further!
I adopted a dog with separation anxiety, but I was not aware of it until I needed to leave her alone. It was a stressful time in my life because I needed to work and my dog could not be left alone. The owner of another doggie daycare would not take my dog and shamed me for her separation anxiety. When I called Lynn for the first time, she was so kind and told me my dog was welcome to come to Camp Belly Rub. I took my pup to Camp Belly Rub in the morning before work and picked her up on my way home from work. I was grateful to have a place where my dog could go while I was at work so she did not have to suffer with separation anxiety. I am comforted to know Camp Belly Rub is there for me and my dog when I need their services.
My dog Bruno has been going to CBR for 2 years and we are thrilled with the service and care he gets. Its a shame that a tragic, yet isolated incident years ago, drags the ratings down and is what new people know of this location. Lynn and her staff are incredibly compassionate with policies and procedures in place to ensure the safety of our fur babies. I cant recommend this place enough! It is by far, the BEST doggie daycare in the area.
They take amazing care of all the dogs there. Loved knowing that when I boarded my dog he wasn’t crated and that someone was there all night with him. Daycare and boarding prices were very affordable and customer service was also great! They also have cameras if you want to check in on your little one throughout the day. Very friendly staff that takes care of all the pups as though they’re their own.
We have been sending our dog Chrissy to Camp Belly Rub ever since we adopted him, as it was recommended by his very experienced foster mom. I am so grateful for the care and love they give to Chrissy, and I am so glad that he gets to socialize with other pups- its so important. In addition, the grooming is convenient and on site, prices are very affordable!
My dog has spent three wonderful years at Camp Belly Rub. The staff is so patient with the dogs and gives them attention. They are constantly cleaning and managing the area...dogs dont really clean up after themselves you know! I recommend it.
Our dog Scout LOVES going to Camp. Everyone there is friendly, loves dogs, and are good with them. Scout is a 55lb puppy and Camp is great at tiring him out in a safe environment. Prices are reasonable and Scout comes home tired, clean, and healthy. Pickup services are an added bonus! I also really like the online reservation website so I can make reservations at any time (including last minute) and/or plan in advance.
I have all four of my babies signed up, theyve experienced their camp and boarding. The camp itself is clean, inviting to all breeds and sizes. If your a worry wort like me theres live camera feed you can view your fur babies all day. The staff is professional and wonderful to your dog. Theres even a groomer on location. Its your 100% one stop to taking care of your dog or dogs while your dealing with your crazy day to day. ❤️
Let me tell this daycare how I feel about this dog Finn getting out and getting hit under your supervision. There is no excuse you could give me for my dog getting out of a fence into the road. It is your responsibility to check the fencing and repair it so a tragedy like this doesnt happen. I have considered a few times leaving my dog at a daycare. I dont fault anyone for making this choice to have there fur babies socialize while at work. Finns owner thought she was leaving her baby in safe hands. I personally viewed a few daycares for my dog and inspected a few to consider leaving my family members and didnt feel comfortable leaving my babies there. Most places are dirty they say they are cage free but not. Staff really dont have your dogs interest at hand. Its all about money. If this was one of my dogs I would be suing them and they should be closed down. Also call the local animal control so they can be involved also.
I have sent my two rescues since they were 4 months old. We started out with obedience classes at camp belly rub. Before every class, Lynn would greet us with a warm and welcome hello and would remember our girls. Due to crazy work schedules, we decided to enroll in camp belly rub. Next to rescuing our girls, sending them to camp belly rub was the best decision that we have made. Camp belly rub isnt a daycare, its a home away from home for the girls. I will be forever grateful for Lynn and all of the camp counselors for everything that they have done for our family and for how much they love our girls.
I have been bringing my dog(s) to CBR since they opened. You cannot find a better place for day care for your dog. They are kind, caring , and take such good care of my dogs. I would question whether the negative reviewers even bring their dogs to camp, or just have some kind of resentment that they feel the need to broadcast. My experience? its a great place, I will continue to use their services.
We brought our little Willow who is deaf and a bit on the hyper side to Camp Bellyrub. What a wonderful experience! Willow had a great time and Lyn and staff were so helpful with tips on how to clam her “mouthy” behavior. The check in report card is such a great thing and let’s pet parents know their pooch is getting the exercise, play, and attention they so deserve! I highly recommend Camp Bellyrub and will be a regular customer for sure! Thanks for all you do!!!! It makes being a pet parent so much easier when we can’t be with them
Love this place!!! Wish I was a dog!Besides the great grooming job they did on my Libby (12yr old Golden Retriever) , Lynn gave me better advice than my Vet has on her diet. Libby has suffered years with allergies and ear infections, Lynn gave me the name of a dog food brand, and where to get it as well as other helpful tips. Libby has never looked better, and more importantly is NOT dragging herself across the floors anymore! ;) Thank you Lynn and staff!
Camp Belly Rub is amazing! I started my dog at a different local daycare before CBR was even open and didnt get the warm comfortable feeling. I went and toured CBR and fell in love. My pup started their immediately! Its always a warm hello to myself and my now 2 dogs. They run to the door at drop off and come home exhausted. I can take them anywhere and they know how to socialize. Lynn is very knowledgeable when it comes to dogs, diet and meds. The best is its a one stop shop because the dogs can even get groomed while there. CBR has been a great addition to our area.
Our hearts go out to the family who recently lost their beloved dog. We are one of Camp Belly Rubs original customers and have always found Lynn and her staff to be compassionate and professional. Lynns love for dogs never waivers. We remain loyal clients. Harry and Jo Rosenthal
Lynn and her staff are awesome. The ladies picked up on two ailments I didnt recognize, and ear infection and lately a spot on her eye that an optometrist friend told me with out this early intervention my girl would have gone blind. She has always been well taken care of, comes home pooped out after a day of play and fun. I know that she is always safe and no harm will ever come to her.To Amy, sorry about the loss of your pup, but if you had trained him properly Finn would not have escaped, his miss behavior caused his demise. My girl has been trained not to cross or come near the road. To Darius, you dont know what your talking about and are just jumping on the sympathy band wagon...
We have been taking our dogs (2 Greyhounds and a maneto podenco) to camp since it opened. We/they love Lynn and her staff. The pups love going, it gives them amazing socialization time and I get to enjoy seeing them have fun on the app.
Not only does this place disrespect dogs and mistreats them but they also refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes and provide proof or explanation for any incidents to the well deserved owners. this so called doggy day care lacks remorse and is irresponsible, they were the cause of a innocent dog losing its life, a dog my very close friend and their family loved so much, a dog that was supposed to have a longer life filled with loving memories shared with his owners, a dog that my close friend only got to spend four months with. Finn was loving, sweet and deserved better, it’s sad that I never got to met him and that this family didn’t get to spend more time with him. RIP Finn
Stay Away !!!Lynn owns and runs this camp and is mostly pleasant until you challenge anything she says. I have a German Shepard and when I first brought him there I should have known that she breed discriminates based on what she said to me. But I just thought I was being over sensitive.I do my own vaccinations and when I told her this she said I needed to get a tidier to prove my dog had the vaccinations. My vet said there is no such thing so I reported this back to her and she said well I will have to witness you giving them because you could just go into a dumpster and get used vaccination boxes and bring them in claiming you vaccinated the dog....Then my dog got kennel cough and I reported this to her and she said if I got a blood test to prove he had it she would alert the other dog owners... (guess what there are no such blood tests it’s based on a clinical exam) again I wasted money going to the vet on her request.Sadly the bottom line is if you have a small dog and don’t mind the very real possibility of it getting a disease she is fine but if you have a large breed you will be told at some point that the dog is aggressive and needs a brake and I am sure some other vet recommendations like fixing them or who knows what else. (My dog was fixed)Not sure if there is anywhere else to go but based on all the one star reviews and my personal experience I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ever again !
I have to say this place is the best! There was an issue with my guy, something he must have ingested a day or so before, and they were right on it, notifying me and helping him. So happy to know they really are watching over them. And he always comes home so happy and looking forward to going back and playing some more.
They are AMAZING. They really understand your dog and his needs. Theu are the only ones that can cut my dogs nails with no issues. When i pick my pups ul they are exhausted and happy. I love that I can watch them all day with their live cameras. They also have a big dog area and a little dog area so the little ones wont get hurt. I love lynn and her team.
Love Camp Belly Rub and so does my dog! Been going there since my dog was 3 pounds and 4 months old. Owners and staff love them like their own and it’s a great place for play and socialization!!
After hearing about how a dog escaped their fence, got hit by a car and killed i would NEVER bring my dog here. The fact that they are denying the video to the owners of the dog that was hit makes it all the more suspicious. As a doggie day care, securing a fence should have been their MAIN priority and they failed. Unacceptable. That owner is a better person than me bc I would have not handled this the same had it been one of my fur babies. RIP Finn
Horrible experience. While my dog was there for day care, she was bit in the eye in several places requiring stitches. All I received from Lynn were false accounts, delay tactics, and empty promises.First, Lynn called to tell me that my dogs eye was injured due to another dog bumping heads with her. But upon examination the vet said that her account wasnt possible...there were several distinct bite marks in my dogs eyelids. My dog had to be generally anesthetized to have her eyelids sutured.Second, I politely asked to see the video to better understand what happened since Lynns account didnt match up with the vets finding. Instead of scheduling a time, Lynn put me off and said she would look at the video to see what happened. She then said the video matched her account...which the vet had refuted. So I asked again to arrange a time to see the video. She ignored my request. I asked again. She continued to ignore my requests.Third, I also inquired as to whether the other dog had a history of such incidents. She responded that she couldnt share that information because of privacy issues. I told her that dogs have no privacy rights. She then provided a strangely worded answer that the dog had been involved in no incidents that led to injury.Fourth, after 4 requests to see the video, she finally agreed...but said it had to be before 8am. The correct answer when a customer, whose dog has been bitten, asks to see the video is, what time is convenient for you? or at least provide a window thats reasonable.Fifth, we finally agreed on a date and time... and the day arrives, Im driving there and she leaves and isnt there. We schedule for another time. The day before the second scheduled viewing I reach out to her to confirm and she wants to change it again having no consideration for the fact that I rearranged my schedule to see it at that time. Although my dog was bitten on June 4th, I have yet to see the video.Sixth, I asked her to provide the other dogs medical records to ensure that it was up to date on shots so that my dog didnt face any other health issues. She again ignored my request. I had to ask again, telling her she had a legal responsibility to provide the other dogs medical records because it had bitten my dog. Everything frim her was delay and obstruct. I was forced to ask multiple time for things that she should have easily and voluntarily given.Seven, she promised, both at the vets office and in a text, to cover my dogs vet bills. I informed her that I had pet insurance, but there was still part of the deductible and a portion not covered. She agreed that she would reimburse me for those amonts Although I submitted the bills to her approximately 2 weeks she has not reimbursed me. And she has ignored my emails and texts inquiring about the reimbursement.Eight, I had pre-paid for additional doggy day care visits. I asked her to refund me the amount paid and she agreed. Its been almost two weeks and I have not received a refund. And she has ignored my emails and texts and quiring about the refund.I know that things happen and dogs may get injured. Thats not really the issue. The issue is why did she obstruct, delay, and then not follow up with her promises to refund the money and reimburse me for the medical bills? The issue is why has she made it so difficult to see this video? What is she afraid of that I might see? Is she not providing the level of supervision that she has promised? How is it that her account doesnt match up with the vets medical findings?Due to her behavior she has taken what was a simple situation and made it adversarial. I have had to get a lawyer involved to get my money back and to seek the video.
My dog is so excited to get there in the morning that he wont eat breakfast and waits by the door. Lynn is wonderful! So happy we found Camp Belly Rub!!
Well, I have no idea how their service is to review, because they wouldn’t allow our unneautered dog to stay. I was on the phone with someone and informed them that our dog was not neutered, and was told he could come in. The owner also reviewed the registration and was aware our dog was not neutered, and still allowed me to believe he would be welcome. When we get there we confirm that, yes indeed he is not neutered, nor do we plan to, and are told he is not welcome. So let me be the one to tell you, because no where on their website, or on the phone do they let you know, unaltered males are not welcome. We were relying on their services, and were under the impression they could help. But in a matter of minutes we had to reconsider our day and change plans. It was very frustrating.
Awesome 👏🏻 time for my little Obi! Lynn and her entire staff are real loving doggie people! Im so thankful camp belly rub is in business Lynn thank you your doing an awesome job and wishing you great success 🐶
Absolutely disgusting place. A dog dies and because you dont want backlash you take down your sites and your Facebook pages. While I know the internet can be an awful place. Going through your reviews on here you havent been an upstanding citizen or business. You refuse to show people proper evidence of what happened to their dogs in your care. You lie about what happens until they take the dog to a vet and then you have nothing left but to tell the truth. But even then you are an awful person because you give them the run around. Say one thing and do another. I hope one day you learn. You have no compassion. You should probably just close your doors.
Fantastic Dog Camp. Lynn has been wonderful to our dogs and also our foster dogs. Her staff is always pleasant and I have ZERO issues with the care our dogs receive.
My pup loves his time at Camp Belly Rub. I have seen a remarkable transformation in his behavior. The staff is professional and very accomodating to my schedule.
My dog Oliver loves to go to Camp Belly Rub. He plays with the other dogs all day long and comes home tired. A tired pup is a good pup!
Anyone business who allows a paying customers dog to die while under their care and refuses to give an explanation or to proof as to how and why it happened, should not be in business. Shame on you guys for not providing a safe place for your paying customers dogs to happily and safely play.
A great “doggie” place! Lynn and her staff are extremely accommodating and love all dogs. Lucy loves her camp days!
The staff is very nice and accomodating! Weve been bringing our anxious little dog here for almost 2 years now and Camp Belly spoils her.
My dog loves her days at Camp Belly Rub! She comes home tired and happy.
Do not bring small dogs! A dog escaped through their fence and was hit by a car and killed with the poor owners left with NO explanation !!Horrible, there must be more secure and responsible daycares in the area.
Dont bring your pets here....how in the hell could they let someones dog get loose ...and then the poor animal Gets hit by a car.....and they provide no explanation or let person see on video at what happened...total irresponsible people running this camp hopefully you loose your license and customers and are driven out of buisness
Wonderful dog daycare! Extremely knowledgeable and attentive staff. Web based video streaming offers comfort to any dog parent. Weekly customer
I love this place. I bring my 5 month oldPuppy and she loves it. The staff are patient and caring and flexible.
Camp Belly Rub goes above and beyond with their thoughtful service! Not only does my pup come back happy and tired from all the fun and socializing, but I also get to peek into his day through the photos they post on FB. Its such a joy seeing him having a blast with his furry friends.Camp Belly Rub is truly a woof-tastic experience for both pups and their humans.
Lots of happy dogs! The workers are so kind! My dog Myla loves them! A+
Absolute atrocious place. 1 star can not even describe how disgusting this place is. denying someones right to see surveillance on how THEIR dog DIED in your OWN BUSINESS, is despicable.
Our German Shepard is always exhausted after a day at camp!
Great camp, great workers, my dog loves it and thats what matters most!
It is a shame this isn’t a 5 star establishment due to an unfortunate incident because I can not say enough good things. Lynn has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND for my dog. I wouldn’t even have him today if it wasn’t for her. The staff is incredibly friendly and I ALWAYS feel comfortable leaving my dog there. It is truly a great place.
Honestly cant believe how awful this establishment is and how awful the management is. No one should ever let their dog stay there.
My dog has been happily spending his days at Camp Belly Rub for almost three years now. We have had only positive experiences with Lynn and the Camp Belly Rub family. The staff are courteous, friendly, and professional. Camp Belly Rub boasts a welcoming and non-pretentious environment. Lynn and her staff ensure that all the dogs are happy and healthy while attending Camp. Additionally, there are also top-notch grooming services available by “What the Fluff Pet Grooming,” which operates out of the same building. If you’re curious, swing by and check out the place like I did when I first discovered Camp Belly Rub. Lynn, the owner, was happy to answer all of my questions, show me around the facility, and ease my anxious pet-parent mind. As an added bonus, there is an app you can download for your smartphone and watch your dog playing all day long. Lynn and her team are also great pet photographers and update social media frequently with pictures of the dogs playing. Every day upon drop-off, I know that my dog is safe and excited. Every night upon pick-up, my dog leaves Camp Belly Rub fulfilled and socialized. As a pet parent, I leave Camp Belly Rub feeling comfortable and happy with the daycare that Lynn and her team provide. I highly recommend Camp Belly Rub!(Attached is a picture of my dog taken by the Camp Belly Rub team)
These are great people who I trust with my puppy. I just love everything about this place
A local dog died in the care of this facility that’s only purpose is to care for dogs... horrible. Don’t take your animals here please!
My dog has been going to camp belly rub for 2 years now, he loves it there!.. and so do we. Lynn and her staff are truly good people, and so wonderfully patient and caring. We are really thankful to have camp belly rub as an outlet for our dog - it’s hard being the family dog who gets chased by a toddler all day!!! He gets so excited to go Camp belly rub to see his buddies each week. Sincere thanks to Lynn and her staff for all that they do. We love being a part of the camp belly rub family!
JUST READ AND BEWARE FOLKS A SMALL DOG LOST HIS LIFE DUE TO THERE NEGLECT, AND ARE NOW DENYING THE POOR OWNERS THE SURVEILLANCE VIDEO, PRETTY SAD!😰STAY AWAY WOULD HATE TO HEAR ABOUT THIS HAPPENING TO SOMEONE ELSES DOG!
I am at a loss for words...our dog Finn died while in their care. #dogslivesmatter
Very caring and helpful partners if you have a dog or two. Hard to find people you can trust.
They are always so accommodating, professional, and of course great with the dogs!
We’ve been sending our dog to Camp for a couple of years now. Lynn & staff take excellent care of our pup. Sometimes I think George prefers to be with Lynn than us, but that’s ok, because I trust my dog’s judgement! Highly recommend Camp Belly Rub.
THE best doggie daycare in town! Very professional staff, I know my dog is being well taken care of from the moment shes dropped off to the time shes picked up. My dog ALWAYS comes home tired and daycare has helped with her socialization skills. We have tried other daycares locally and NONE of them compare to the care and love that they give at Camp Belly Rub!
Finn was not just a dog. When I dropped him off at Camp Belly Rub Tuesday morning, I thought I was being a responsible pet mom. He hated staying home alone and all of his humans had work and school. He was really just upset because it was just him and I in the car that morning, the girls had a two hour delay. If I had known Tuesday morning would be the last time I would kiss his head or have him lick my face I would have savored the moment a little longer, but as usual I was in a rush, I never even put his jacket on and oh how he loved his jacket. An hour after I dropped him off Lynn from Camp Belly Rub called to tell me Finn was gone. He had escaped though hole in the fence and was hit by a car. HOW??? The daycare is suppose to be a safe place for dogs. She runs a business taking care of other peoples pets, family members. When I asked her to explain how this happened she said nothing, when I asked to see video I was denyed. Because of the negelgence of the owner of a local doggie daycare we lost a member of our family Tuesday.Finn was the happiest little chihuahua you would ever meet. He loved Aurora Quiles to peices and had the most gentle soul. He enjoyed his bones and his baby elelphant that he received from Santa this year. Although his time with us was short, and he was taken without warning, he was loved. Finn was not just a dog he was our family.
I won’t go into details, but I want to say that Lynn and her staff went far above and beyond for our pup, Rolo, and my family. When it seemed like very little was in my control they were there to make sure that I did not have to worry about the health and safety of Rolo.Friendly and well trained staff, clean facility, and very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. The webcams are an amazing bonus, as well; I could check up on how much fun he was having any time throughout the day.I don’t live in The Kingston area, but any time I come down for a visit I won’t hesitate about whether or not Ron drop Rolo off. Highly recommended.
Stevie loves it here! She always comes back so exhausted, in the best way.
My friends dog actually passed away due to their negligence.
Killed my friends dog. absolutely disgusting!
Disgusting do not bring your dog here
We love the staff and facility!
Lynn is a horrible human being
Dogs have lots of fun
Read the reviews for yourself.🤢 honestly disgusting
Really great place for your dog
