Karen Garelick gave me some things to do with my puppy, whom I was ready to pull my hair out over the pup. Things are getting better for me and the pup. We’ll be back. I’ve been trying what she said and some new stuff. The puppy is getting acclimated to us, our other pets, house, and property. Karen had told me to come back in a week, which would have been yesterday. I’m going to try for next week.

My dog Ted and I learned alot all while having fun. This is a great place with an obedience training center, agility course/ training and wonderful second hand dog supply shop where proceeds go to dog rescues. All under the same roof! I highly recommend.

Docs is the best! They have taken excellent care of my lab for almost three years. She loves going there and spending the day with the staff and other dogs. Doc Karen, Blythe and🍷 Zach are wonderful. They love my dog like family. I never worry about her health, happiness or safety when she in their capable and loving hands. I would highly recommend them!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Pretty sure my dog loves doc more than me, but that’s okay! Doc knows her stuff and truly loves what she does. There’s a reason she has such loyal clients. She’s the only place I will go for dog training/daycare in the future.

Approximately 1.5years ago I took my rescue dog to Dr K training center. My dog passed with flying colors so I enrolled her in puppy day care available 1 day a week. For the past year my dog has attended Dr K daycare without incident. Over the past 2 years when I travel to my home in Florida my puppy rescue and her sister attend a far superior daycare center. They have approximately 15-20 staff each day and my girls attend Monday thru Friday 7am until 6pm again without incident.Yesterday at Docs K9 my little one reacted when the charlatan Dr K ( who my rescue did not know.) grabbed my rescue by the collar and Dr K the supposed expert could not understand why my dog reacted twisting to get away. This supposed expert is a bully and for some reason needs to show dominance over rescue dogs. This expert is the only person out of 30 that my dog has had a negative experience with. Hopefully my rescue was not scarred by this experience.

My experience is that I found the personnel very rude ... dont remember her name but I actually went to the center to take a look at the daycare so I could make a comparison with other doggy daycare centers I visited. I met a curly haired blond woman at the door and sensed she was in an agitated state. I started inquiring about the possibility of enrolling my puppy in both the daycare and classes and wanted to know how long the wait-list was after I found out they were booked.I was very excited about my puppy going to Docs K9 center and even though my pup wouldnt be able to attend this time around, I figured I would find out information for the future. The personnels responses were curt, dismissive and not very informative. Noticing this womans unfriendliness I calmly said, it seems like youre frustrated where she replied, can you blame me? I told you we were booked and you continually ask questions. I responded by saying, well you dont have to treat me this way. She responded, were booked as I told you!. and I said, well you didnt respond to my email, phone call, Facebook message which is why Im here and walked out.My review is that though Docs K9 center may be good for training dogs, I sense some people socialization skills are needed! BTW I also heard a similar review from a fellow teacher who took her dog there. I wont mention the teachers name but this person told me that the owner may have the skills to train dogs but her people skills were sorely lacking.

Karen Garelicks dog classes are pretty okay but as a person she comes across as someone whos compensating for something. Her loud personality can be mistaken as confidence but Im not buying it.I understand teaching the same classes can be boring after a few years but she shows little passion and interest and is often dismissive when people approach her with questions. Also, she uses cheese sticks and hot dogs as dog treats - which are bad for dogs because of the high salt/sodium content!Meh. I expected so much better.

Very unprofessional SHE texted ME about enrolling my dog for classes and then she never responded back after sending multiple texts back to see if i have a spot in her class or not. And she had her read receipts on so i knew she was seeing my texts too.

Karen is EXTREMELY rude. Before I had this mishap, we started off on the wrong foot to begin with, which should have been a red flag at the beginning. She told me she returned my phone call after leaving a voicemail, but I work on my phone everyday, I had no missed call or a voicemail come through, but once again when I informed her I had received nothing, it wasn’t her fault and argued with me that she called. I got past that. Our then conversation was a little rocky, still pretty rude until I said i wanted to sign up, then her tone became a little more chipper. So while I talked with Karen she walked me through how to sign up online but I somehow accidentally filled out the wrong paperwork, (while on the phone with her) for stay n play but wanted dog training, because that was what she told me to do. Not knowing there was THREE different websites. My then spot that I thought I had was filled because I didn’t know I did anything wrong until 5pm via email. Once checking my email and realizing, i filled the correct paperwork, that same night. She then texted me the next day about 1pm to inform me my spot had been filled. She did not honor our conversation, was extremely rude and told me she did not make the mistake and that it was solely my fault for not listening correctly and filling out the wrong paperwork, but told me I could wait the six weeks and sign up again.I get that the classes fill up fast and it’s forst come first serve but I don’t see why you can’t have a little respect for the people that are trying to do the right thing. I did fill out the “wrong paperwork” and sent it in within 20 minutes of getting of the phone with her. I wasn’t somebody just wasting her time.I’m an in true disbelief that she acted this way towards an honest mistake, with whomevers fault it was. She did not show any care, more she was bothered that I was asking why and she put the blame on myself, that It wasn’t her fault i didn’t listen.I was recommended to Doc’s and informed that person of the disrespect that I received and hopes she no longer recommends docs K9 to anyone, because I know I won’t.She may be a good dog person but she is not a people person, so don’t expect to be treated nicely. The other staff seems to be great, I visited the restore, the volunteer was super friendly, Karen should defiantly not talk to people before the training classes for issues like this. She should hire someone to coordinate her class scheduling.

I went in to inquire about daycare as I just moved to the area. The woman was so rude, she literally did want to talk to me and looked more than annoyed when I asked her questions. At one point I asked if she knew of any other businesses that they worked with that she would recommend since they had no room and she told me to “google it”. I understand that they have a waitlist, but I would never ever leave my babies in the the care of this place if this who the chose to greet people.

When classes started to resume after being closed due to covid, the owner did not make us aware that classes were resuming and would not reschedule the class. The owner also gave us a hard time about requesting out money back as we only attended two classes.
