The staff at this establishment are so helpful and knowledgeable. Very friendly. My children (4 legged). Are terrified of vet visits, however, the tech as well as Dr. Vander Yacht, put them at ease immediately. Its such a wonderful experience, definitely worth the hour road trip.

The only reason I don’t give a 10 is that these folks don’t take off-hour emergencies unlike some larger clinics. That said, I appreciate the thoughtful care our gang receives at Manlius Veterinary.

Brought our end of life Golden in for kind and compassionate care and now bringing a new puppy for the same quality of care. Highly recommend.

Best vet office around. As a british shorthair breeder I shopped around all the local vets, this one in my opinion is the best. The vets are very knowledgeable, the staff is super friendly. I think Dr. Goetz may be the cat whisperer as she makes giving a cat a worm pill look so easy. We are so lucky to have found such a fantastic vet office so conveniently close to home.

First time there with my older cat. We had one of the best vet visits we’ve had in a long time. Looking forward to bringing my dog next!

We moved into the area and were looking to switch vets and this was very close to our new home. We called to schedule a meet and greet to just get in the system but it just so happened our dog had a pretty bad cough. I asked if there was any chance they could see him or should we go to our old vet but to our surprise they got us in that day. I LOVE they have a side entrance so if your animal is contagious or anxious they can just enter right into the exam room from the side. The vet techs were great and the Vet herself was so wonderful, she got down on the floor and was so good to our dog gave him all the love he needed. I cannot recommend MVH enough and am so happy I made the call to them.

The staff at Manlius Veterinary Hospital are always kind, courteous, and helpful to pets and people alike. Abby has loved Dr. Rodriguez since she was little more than a pup and actually looks forward to visiting the vet. Our other pup, Archie, is also always well-cared for.

The team is amazing, very friendly and caring. My dog receives the best care. They are also great in contacting you to see how your pet is doing after being treated. They text and call. I can even email pictures of an issue and they are great at getting back to you with a text or call to schedule an appointment. I highly recommend them!!!!

Outstanding veterinarians and staff that weve loved working with for nearly 10 years. Everyone is kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Goetz is fantastic with cats and worked closely with us to care for one of our cats who was in renal failure. Thanks to her expertise, we got two more years with a beloved kitty.

We were referred to Manlius Veterinary by a good friend who brings her cat here, and we were so happy to find great vets here in CNY. Dr. Rodriguez, Dr. Goetz and the entire staff here are professional, empathetic, patient, and very knowledgable. They were gentle and kind with our cat and us. We came in worried about our cat, and we left confident that he was given expert care and knowledge to treat him at home. Their expertise reassured us and we will gladly be back again to see Dr. Rodriguez or Dr. Goetz, and we would highly recommend either vet.

Manlius Veterinary has been our regular GP since 2019. The moment I became a client I realized how special this practice was. We have 3 fur-babies (2 German short haired pointers and a black mouth cur) Ages 13, 10.5, & 7. I’ve primarily seen Dr. Goetz or Dr. Rodriguez but lately I’ve had the pleasure to meet Dr. Vander Yacht. We had routine exams, sick visits, acupuncture, and chiropractic exams. Even some very scary appointments for our babies. No matter the type of appointment I always feel I’m in safe hands. The reception team is fantastic. Shoutout to Gwen & Shannon. The technician team has been just as wonderful. Shoutout to Adriana for taking such good care of our Lilly. Recently we had to say goodbye to her. I cannot thank Dr. Rodriguez enough for how much she cared for our baby. If you’re looking for a new vet or have adopted a new baby yourself please give them a call. I feel pricing is reasonable especially when you have such an empathetic and caring staff looking out for your family. Thank you again Manlius team. My husband and I are very thankful for you.

Truly amazing! All of the vets who have provided care for our cats are top notch. Dr. Rodriguez has gone above and beyond to ensure that our cat with heart disease has the best quality of life possible for him at this time. I have been going to the Manlius Veterinary Hospital for over 15 years and I have been very happy with the services I have received there. Their front office staff has always been warm, friendly and helpful when I call or stop in. Their technicians have always been kind and respectful in their dealings with me and my pets. The veterinarians are outstanding in their knowledge, skills and care they have shown me and my pets over the years. I especially like that they offer chiropractic and acupuncture services. My dog has received chiropractic adjustments several times and I do believe this has help her. Overall I would highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital to anyone and everyone!!

My cat, Pumpkin, was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Being new to the process I was nervous about administering the shots. Fortunately for me,Brittany instructed us and I now feel confidant that I can do this! Doctor Rodriquez was very generous with her time and attention, informing me of just what to expect. This is a wonderful practice. Both the docs are kind and gentle with our pets. They tell you everything up front and give you treatment options so you are always involved with your pets care. They have never pushed for unnecessary treatments or tests. I think they care more about the health of our pets then profits. I love taking my pets there knowing they are seeing the bests vets in Syracuse.

I was a dedicated and faithful customer of this veterinary practice for years for both my dogs. I will never go to this practice ever again. Their business practices are immoral and care more about making money off of their customers than in the welfare of their customers animals. I had a problem with illegal, fraudulent charges on my bank account, and then a close family member passed away, and they refused to work with me when my dog is very sick and even refused a prescription for me to get my dogs medications from someplace else. All they care about is money. They DO NOT care about their customers or the animals they treat. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else!

We have had our first experience with Manlius Veterinary Hospital just recently, having contacted the hospital regarding a second opinion based on a recommendation from someone in the dog biz. In the process, we added on some current concerns, including recent hot spot issues. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly, even moving up the appointment as our discussion evolved into addressing the skin issues. Dr. Rodriguez prescribed gave us some new suggestions and medication for our dogs skin, which are working well. Dr. Rodriguez was thorough and patient as we discussed our second opinion topic and provided good information in order to be able to move forward. Very pleased with our experience.

My family will forever be grateful to the wonderful people at Manlius Vet Hospital. For 20 years they have taken great care of our pets. During covid they are limited in the number of people that can come into the building. So, on this nice day in the early fall, our dog, Boo, was brought outside so that my husband, Jeff and I, along with our kids and my daughter’s boyfriend, could be there, petting him and telling him what a good boy he was while the vet did what was was needed. The doctors and staff there are so compassionate and have literally walked us through Boo’s last weeks, just as they did with our cat, Tiger, five years ago.

Our dogs have been in the care of Manlius Veterinary Hospital for the past 5 years. One of the dogs became acutely ill last week; when I called, I was offered an immediate appointment and was brought into the exam room quickly after arrival. Dr. Stebbins and Amanda listened to my concerns, demonstrated empathy, examined and assessed my dog and came up with a plan that was mutually agreed upon by all. Most impressive is the fact that everyone recognizes my dogs and their special quirks and need! After our urgent visit, Amanda called the next day to follow up. Thank you; you all are the best!

Friendly staff that is caring and compassionate when needed. I lost my boy Brando and they were very supportive. They educated me and worked with a plan of care that we could all agree on and then supported the decision in the end to euthanize when it was time. Highly recommended.

The quality of service has steadily deteriorated over the past couple years. It takes multiple phone calls and requests to get records transferred, prescriptions filled and then refilled because they were incorrectly written, they are not keep accurate records of ongoing treatment among other issues. Trying to transfer to adifferent vet and they are giving the runaround about sending over my dog’s records. Very unprofessional.

The receptionists, and vet techs are professional and very sweet. My first visit with the Vet went really well - she explained in detail everything she was doing and helped procure the necessary items for my pet. So glad for the recommendation.

Thank you so much for all you did to make Gracie’s first visit such a positive one. I’m so very glad we found such a caring and compassionate practice. Dr. Goetz was incredibly thorough and took the time to make Gracie feel comfortable before even attempting to examine her. I also love that clients here have the option of being present for the entire exam as much as it is appropriate- very transparent practice.

Was given a same day appointment when I called with concerns about my puppys recovery from surgery. The Dr. was great with her examination and was able to reassure us that our pup was doing well.

This veterinary practice is the best. Vet tech Amanda will always be our go to for nail trims and general questions. I do wish that it wouldn’t be necessary to wait weeks to be seen y a veterinarian. Gwynevere at reception is also very helpful.

The vets at Manlius Veterinary Hospital have been so good at treating our golden with her multitude of issues from allergies to cancer issues. Molly LOVES going to the vet and literally jumps out of the car and right to the door whenever we arrive. We feel very lucky to have such caring and competent doctors and staff taking care of Molly

We’ve been taking our dogs here since 2013 and have had mostly good service. We recently adopted a new puppy and they scheduled our initial appointment 60 days out due to being overloaded. Ok. In the meantime she has developed a really bad case of worms which needs immediate treatment. We called them this morning and in addition to poorly trained staff who couldn’t find our appointment in their system we were told to wait another week and a half and there was nothing they could do. Well guys.there’s something we can do, we’re finding a new vet. See ya.Quick follow-up. They called me a few minutes after I posted this review to make excuses, and complain that they had other cases. No way I could have known that, guys, your communication and reliability are bottom of the heap, especially considering the thousands of dollars we’ve spent at your practice over the years. Don’t call again, k? Clearly, caring for animals is a lower priority than your google review score.

The staff at Manlius Veterinary Hospital is so kind and caring. At my cats last appointment, she decided to sit on one of the chairs in the room. Since she seemed content there, Dr. Goetz and her technician got down on the floor and did the entire exam with my cat sitting on the chair instead of forcing her to sit on the table when she was already scared. Dr. Goetz treats her clients and their pets with such compassion that I would recommend her to any of my friends and family looking for a place to take their pet.

Aaron always receives excellent care and is excited every time we go! He just met Dr. Stebbins - what an excellent addition to the practice. From nail trims, nail injuries, annual visits and vaccinations, to correctly diagnosing cruciate ligament tears - everyone has been caring, compassionate, and professional. They are the only ones we trust with his care.

Drs. Jennifer Goetz, Deanna Rodriguezs and the staff of the Manlius Veterinary Hospital have taken outstanding care of our pets for many years.They offer astute treatment and advice. Moreover, they are cheerful, compassionate and willing to spend as much time as necessary to assess a problem; yet quick to recommend we take a pet to other veterinarians if warranted. Whenever a pet has been ill or placed on a new medication they call us at home to check up. On several occasions when we were out of the country, our dogs became sick at a boarding kennel. Manlius Veterinary Hospital took them in and cared for them, calling us sometimes several times a day about their condition. Always pleased and grateful for the care they have given to our pets , we recommend them most highly.

We have always taken our german shepards to Manlius Veterinary Hospital. The doctors and staff are wonderful. They are professional but above all kind, considerate,knowledgeable and compassionate. They give you helpful information, options and always followup. You know when your dog loves to go there that its the place to be!

I lost a cat in August 2015 and the doctor was so compassionate and caring. I requested her ashes but also got some additional keepsakes I wasnt expecting. I received a condolence card with a tuft of Chloes hair tied in a ribbon as well as a foot print in clay. It was a nice surprise after having lost a pet Id had for 18 years.

I cannot believe the way that I was treated at this practice. They have hidden expenses that you dont find out about until you go to pay. And also they would not release my pets records to me when I was switching to another practice. which is against the law. When I went in to get them, I could not believe how rude the office manager was . She got physical with the front staff who was trying to make copies for me. I had to threaten litigation to finally get a partial copy of my file. Other people I have talked to think this practice is just a money maker. They do not care about their patients. They just prescribed expensive procedures to make more money. My friend who is a veterinarian, has heard so many bad things about this practice and she is appalled at how they run things. Buyer beware, this is an awful, awful practice.

My cat Tiny has had health issues for quite awhile and it one struggle and medication after another until Dr Goetz was able to get him on the right track with acupuncture, natural oils, feeding suggestions and an overall calming experience when he was their for his appointments. The staff is always helpful and accommodating and Tiny and I can both relax! Thank you Dr. Goetz and staff!!

Weve been using the Manlius Veterinary Hospital for almost 30 years. They offer excellent care, and I do mean CARE. They know how much our pets mean to us. The entire staff is always helpful and pleasant.

Absolute great place to take our pack of Beagles. Our oldest boy, Buddy has been going almost 3 years now for chiropractic care and has done miracles for him.....prior to chiro he was unable to stand from a sitting position by himself....today at just shy of 11 years old he runs and plays with our youngest beagle (3 years old) Big Game James like he was a puppy again.

Dr. Goetz is a very talented and experienced doctor. She saved one of my cats life, and helped my other cats stay healthy. Dr. Goetz knows how to apply acupuncture on animals to release muscle stress and cure other muscle issues. I appreciate the help I received from her and staffs at the Manlius Vet.

We love Manlius Veterinary Hospital. Our dog Junior is very reactive and they take the time to go at his pace and make him feel comfortable, which makes us feel he is in the best hands!

They were informative, polite, and knowledgeable as to my issues with my adopted Silky Terrier. Answered all of my questions and helped me and my dog feel comfortable.

My advice to you is to find a better clean place and better people to deal with!I dropped my dog on Friday and because there’s no pick up on Sunday, I had to wait until Monday.On Monday, they told me that he had some loose stool but actually after I picked him up and was driving home, he was popping continuously everywhere in the car and at home on the carpet.When I called, they asked me to come and pick up a medication for him. When I went back, I found out that he started diarrhea yesterday and they didn’t treat him although I signed on Friday a consent for him to be treated if needed. When I picked up the medication they insisted that I pay for it, although I told her that he got sick there and I think they should give him the medication free as a coursty. Her answer was “ we didn’t make him sick. I was planning not to let him board there anymore but keep them as his vet but after this experience, I will definitely NEVER go back to them.

Called to try and pick up a box of Capstar meds, which Ive used many times before and are available at Petco without prescription, after I saw a flea on my dog. The vet informed me she wouldnt sell me the non-prescription meds I needed without scheduling an appointment. Had to drive a town over to pick them up instead, without prescription, because this vet is more interested in charging unnecessary appointment fees than she is treating pets. Not cool.

Dr. Goetz and her technician, Katrina were so knowledablge and friendly. My dog liked them and their treats very much! I will definitely be recommending the Animal hospital to all who are looking for a vet.

Very expensive, over charging for uncaring unfriendly cold hearted care! I am willing to pay for all of my pets but I was convinced one of my dogs were dying, I switched to the best pace, chittenango.. He is healthy. Save yourself a favor and your furranimals..

Nine years ago Dr. Goetz saved our cat Percy by performing difficult surgery on a severely infected dog-bite. Kitty made a full recovery.More recently Dr. Rodriguez guided our kitty Bam toward normal weight gain and health. Kitty was the “runt” of the litter and now he is bigger than his brother. Special diet and medication did the trick.

Wonderful staff! The Drs are very caring and understanding, both the needs of pets and owners. Holistic medicine is available! Have info semiars at Nature-Tyme throughout the year. Watch for them!

High-end clinic with bad customer service and a history of overcharging and price gouging. Staff is not friendly AT ALL. Currently Im looking for another clinic.

The staff here are always kind, efficient, and transparent about any issues or upcoming needs for my dog. He can be timid and is still getting used to the vet experience. They always take time to make sure he is put at ease and has a good time, which has made every subsequent visit easier. The other thing I love is that most visits are quick and painless - we usually are in and out for annual check ups in less than 30 mins.

More than happy with Manlius Vet Hospital; but even more important, BUCK loves it there!! Highly recommend!!

I can assure you that this is the place you want to take care of your pet. Both Dr. Goetz and Dr. Rodriguez are knowledgable, friendly, and empathetic professionals who want nothing but the best for your pet (and for you). Whether it is a routine visit or a special situation, they always took the time to explain the situation to us and presented a variety of options for us to consider. I never felt rushed and always had the opportunity to ask a multitude of questions. Compared to other vets we have used out of state, the entire staff is incredibly empathetic to the needs of you and your pet.Unfortunately for us, our cat was recently diagnosed with cancer and needed to be put down. I only mention this because I want to emphasize how delicately this situation was handled by Dr. Goetz and her team. Shortly after, I even received a hand-written sympathy card. I could not have asked for more from this group.When the time comes to find a new pet, we will 100000% being coming back here.

This is definitely the best vet ever. Dr Stebbins is an expert surgeon. She did 2 surgeries for me. A growth literally right next to my dogs eyeball and an emergency c-section for my cat. The eye surgery other vets tried to refer me to cornell for it. It is so nice to have such an experienced awesome vet right around the corner. Not only is Dr. Stebbins awesome, but so is Dr. Rodriguez and everyone else in the office. Very friendly, super helpful, just an absolute pleasure to do business with.Thanks again Manlius Veterinary Hospital! You rock.
