Ruff Day Pet Resort

I cannot say enough great things about Ruff Day Resort! The staffs passion for what they do is evident from the moment you walk in. Winston has been attending Tiny Town for about six months now, twice a week, and he absolutely adores it. The team is incredibly accommodating with scheduling, which is such a relief for a busy pet parent like myself. Winston comes home exhausted from all the fun he has with his furry friends, often passing out in the car on the way back. Thank you, Ruff Day Resort, for providing such a safe and enjoyable environment for our beloved pets!

Weve had such a good experience at Ruff Day since we started. Their facilities are top notch and the people are kind and accommodating. They were able to give our pup medication during boarding and I really appreciated the care he got.

My dogs have been going to Ruff Day for daycare, boarding and training for the past two and half years. The staff is always attentive and makes sure my pups feel loved when they are away from my family. The facility is beautiful and I love the fact that the yards are turf so there is no muddy paws coming home. Highly recommend!

* Since I cannot reply to the reply I’m editing I was not happy in June as they canceled and rescheduled multiple times groom was great. I was happy with the groom! This last visit yes the pups looked great but YOU CHARGED me without telling me the total and without consent. You charged me before we picked up!! If we don’t come in the increase should be communicated with and before services. Read additional reviews others have been charged without notice and extra fees without communication!!! See review 2 months ago from boarding charges.Took my dogs for grooming 2, 20lbs dogs no mats for a basic haircut. They upped the price without telling us. This was a $40 increase from last visit. They charged my card before I got there without authorization. I called to speak to the manager. Amy’s response increases were posted for 30 days in July. Ok still should tell the customer! They charged me $188 that’s crazy! I did not authorize this I was not made aware of the crazy price increase. When challenged Amy says we have you on camera bringing them in for groom. Ok yes not saying we weren’t there!! Again, charged we without my permission and without communicating the price!! I now have the next appointment at a different groomer $65 each. This place is a rip off go somewhere else!!!!

Ive been bringing my dog to Ruff Day since he was a baby for daycare and boarding. Hes grown up with them! Ruff Day has become such a safe and reliable resource for me, a working dog mom, to keep my boy active and happy when I cant be there for him. I trust wholeheartedly that they would do every right thing for my boy should something happen... and I felt that comfort with them from the start 2 years ago. Their facility is spotless, its big, fun, and comfy for the dogs. I highly recommend Ruff Day! 10/10 on all fronts.

In response to Russell Arturos review. I applaud Ruff Day Resort for making room and accommodations for your dog Layla, even WITHOUT her mandated vaccinations!! I can tell you that Amy and her staff have always been professional and caring for our dog.I would also like to point out that other day cares in the area would have told you tough luck about leaving for vacation in 20 minutes and not taking care of your dogs vaccines, to keep her (and other dogs) safe from disease, even with 6 months time to do so! You seem as though you do not care about your Layla (or other dogs), as much as your vacation!I truly hope your vacation was worth it and I pray that poor Layla is provided better care by you moving forward.

From a financial standpoint, it cost us over $900 to board our dog for one week. We paid the initial fee two weeks prior. Then , in the middle of our vacation, received another bill of almost $400 that no one told us about. They just emailed the bill without any explanation of additional charges. It should have been something told to us up front, that there was a chance of additional charges or at they very least they should have called before billing us. We have been to several kennels (they were all booked) and have never received additional charges like that. During our pups stay, they did call us to tell us they had to make some modifications to her arrangements, but they never mentioned those came with a cost. Very disappointed in the customer service. Much prefer Paws and Claws where dogs are not crated and additional fees are not placed upon the dogs stay.

This dog daycare is the best. They make sure that the dogs are vaccinated so that everyone is safe. They remove collars when the dogs come in so no one gets hurt on a collar. They only take appointments to make sure that there is a good human/dog ratio. Their priority is the care and safety of the dogs. My puppy, Taylor gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. We tried another daycare prior to this one. Trust me, if you want to ensure the safety of your fur baby, this is the daycare to go to!

Ruff Day Resort took the best care of my dog. He went in for daycare, boarding and training and the staff took care of him like he was their own. He loved it so much as soon as I say the word “daycare” he runs to the garage door, tail wagging and hops in the car without question.

We LOVE Ruff Day Resort and so does our dog Rumi. We feel they are loving, safe and provide great socialization for our newest family member!And the daily photo are a plus!

Ruff Day Resort goes above and beyond to love and take care of my dog. He runs to the door when we arrive and is so excited to see his friends he can’t contain himself. I wouldn’t take him anywhere else and am thankful for them every day!

Amy and the staff at Ruff Day do an amazing job! We brought our pup here for boarding and puppy pre-k classes. Caring and compassionate staff, clean facility, and reasonable pricing! Highly recommend!!!

My German shepherd can be a real drama queen, over reactive and very needy/clingy to my husband and I. Last year we got married and went on a couple week long trips out of the country and she did fantastic on both of them and they took great care of her. They post pictures on Facebook so we can see our girl is doing okay and having fun playing outside with the doggy sitters, which they do one on one with her because she got overwhelmed in the large play groups. Instead of just kicking her out when she got overwhelmed they adjusted how they take care of her. That’s a place that loves dogs and understands all dog breeds are different.

The peace of mind that I instantly feel when dropping my dog at Ruff Day is worth every penny. My dog goes to daycare multiple days a week and LOVES it. He pulls me inside and cannot wait to see his dog and human friends. The staff at Ruff Day are attentive, helpful, and fun. My dog loves them and so do I. The facility is great, safe, and clean. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for an outlet for their dog to socialize and burn off some energy in a very controled and loving environment. Boarding my dog is breeze and I know he is comfortable there and having a great time!

The new business manager appears to be prejudiced and snooty. She has implemented new rules for the grooming salon that were not previously in place. I was told one thing on the phone and upon my arrival discovered a completely different set of rules. The wonderful groomer, Hawley, was not there and from they way they spoke, it sounds like his return is not expected in the near future. After having a 10 minute uncomfortable discourse with the new business manager I decided this was not the place for my dog. In my opinion unless the new business manager treats ALL clients with proper respect, they are going to lose clients. Of course maybe, just maybe, she is trying to weed out certain clientele.

Highly recommend Ruff Day for daycare. My dog Eddie has been attending 2x a week for 2.5 years, and bounces in the door at drop off so happy to see his human and dog friends. The staff knows and cares for each dog as an individual. Although he is 25 pounds, Eddie has big dog energy and prefers the play style and company of bigger dogs. Amy made this adjustment from initially placing him with Littles on his first day after observing his interactions. Amys years of experience and expertise as a trainer are invaluable. She knew how to work with Eddie to get him comfortable with having nap time in a crate, and helped me with strategies to work through some behavioral issues at home during a particular developmental stage he was in. I appreciate the personalized, caring, and professional experience that Ruff Day provides. Amy and her staff are dedicated to a safe, fun and healthy environment with their protocols and practices, and that gives me tremendous peace of mind.

We love Ruff Day!! We are so thankful to have a place where we know our puppy is cared for completely during the day. The staff is amazing- before our puppy was even enrolled, I called Amy asking for post-spay care advice, and she was extremely helpful not just with care tips, but with helping me feel confident as a new pet owner. Ruff Day offers something for every dog- from puppy pre-K to the large outdoor space to a cozy town for Tinies, it is a place dogs look forward to going each day. We have watched our puppy grow into a friendly, social, active dog at this resort. We know she will be getting individual attention and care, and are able to go to work with complete confidence that she is in the best hands. Each staff member is helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly, and they model behavior that helps develop great dogs. We love saying to ours, “Are you ready to go see your friends today?” Very grateful to have this place- they do a great job providing the right kind of atmosphere for fur babies. What an amazing daycare! I have worked in multiple other daycares and this one truly stands out. They actually care about the dogs happiness and what is best for the dogs. A full day packed with fun free play with a much needed nap mid day! If you are decided which daycare to take your pup, look no further, Ruff Day is the place to go if you care about your pup! My dog sprints through the door every time I drop her off.

More like rough day resort in my opinion. I would not recommend this place for boarding. Clearly out for the money over the care of the dog. I put my dog in there for over 7 days for over $600 and my dog did not come out like I brought her in. While I did not purchase a grooming package, she came back completely matted and cost me over $50 to get it fixed with my groomer. I would have appreciated a call to let me know there was an ongoing issue. There was little consolation from the owner other than that I should have purchased grooming and they dont really have people around to brush the dog. Also, I am unable to get the smell off of her from this place after numerous baths. Beware and look elsewhere!

Super happy with the boarding services we received from Ruff Day! Our puppy came home happy and is acting like she burned off plenty of energy! Thank you for being so accommodating.

Ruff Day Resort is our favorite! We spontaneously decided to take in Lylah in May. However, we had already booked our non-refundable 2-week trip to Europe for the end of June and at the time, Lylah had barely been 16 weeks and we were still very nervous new pet owners. We heard about Ruff Day, but we were so scared to leave Lylah for so long, and how sad and confused she would be leaving her new people. On the contrary, the people at Ruff Day Resort were extremely comforting and welcoming and they tended to all our questions and needs. We got to see the cutest pictures of Lylah and her new doggy friends every day on the Ruff Day Resort Facebook page, and were sent many updates on how Lylah was doing. When we came back, Lylah was of course happy to see us, but she clearly loved her new friends more! In retrospect, we would not send Lylah anywhere else, as Ruff Day provides the best care for our little baby!

Holly, at Ruff Day Resort, is absolutely the best groomer. My dog, Pebbles, adores him and she always looks outstanding after her groom.

I cant say enough about how much I love Ruff Day Resort. Amy and the entire staff are so caring and my dog loves it there. When hes there all day, I am so much at ease knowing how well hes being taken care of!!! Im just so honored to be a part of the Ruff Day family.

We love Ruff Days! My Coco and Cody love to come and play with their friends and I know they are loved and taken care of. Peace of mind knowing we have an extended family with Ruff Days.

I highly recommend Ruff Day!!! All the staff are professional and friendly. The facility is clean and welcoming. My Koda gets so excited when I pull in the parking lot. She cant wait to get in the building to see her friends. I have also taken the Cainie Good Citizen class which was amazing! Koda learned the skills quickly!! Cant say enough good things about Ruff Day!

After checking out a few daycares for our dog, Delila, we found that she likes Ruff Day the best. Shes always excited to go and she knows what day is daycare day. The staff is very friendly and has accommodated us with last minute overnight stays. Glad we found this place.

My dog Max absolutely loved coming here! The staff are all extremely friendly and clearly love the pups that come here. The schedule fills up quickly so there isnt a ton of flexibility on when you can bring your dog in, but even so the staff have been able to accommodate my last minute requests multiple times which really helped out. Overall a great find and I left with a tired, happy pup each time she went.

My two dogs were happy and tired after their day at Ruff Day. Would gladly bring them back.

Like many kennels they want to make sure your dog gets along with other dogs before boarding. They want you to bring your pet in. However, they dont answer the phone. They dont let you bring the pet in on Fridays. They dont return phone calls until the evening - after you had an opportunity to bring your pet in that day. I called today and someone actually answered (no answer the 4 previous times during open hours ) and was told that in the 7 hours remaining today there was not enough time to get a good idea if our dog got along with the other dogs. It may be a great place to keep your pet when you are out of town but they do there best to keep you from giving them your business.

I would NOT recommend this daycare. The owner and staff are sales driven, not care driven. They try to force you into purchasing one of their “packages” If you don’t purchase one they makeIt nearly impossible to guarantee care forYour pet. Signed up for the “nail club” poor quality for the price. Poor communications. On more than one occasion I was overcharged for services & had to speak to multiple people to get it resolved. They’re are PLENTY of quality care, professional & courteous daycare & staff in the area. Don’t waste your time or MONEY on this place!

My yorkie-poo adores her time at Ruff Day. She starts barking in the parking lot and cant wait to see her 2 legged and 4 legged friends. The entire staff care so much and takes wonderful care of my girl!!!!!

I would rate it lower but cant! No customer service owner has zero knowledge of breeds and the only person who was welcoming and personable was a nice lady at the desk when you walked in. Very clean however misleading and should not be in business because of breed discrimination!!

I would trust Amy and her staff any day with my dogs. Excellent clean facilities and wonderful caring staff!

When everything else in my life is going crazy the one thing I know I dont have to worry about is how my grrrls are. As soon as I drop them off at Ruff on their play days I know theyre going to have a great day playing with their friends and the very wonderful humans who take amazing care of them ❤️♥️♥️♥️. My anxiety level drops and I can get to work smiling instead of scowling. Its win win WOOF! 🙂

My Clyde has been going to Ruff Day since the day that he was rescued from a puppy mill and fostered there. He cant wait to get inside and he loves the staff. I love that he enjoys himself and comes home tired. He owes his freedom to Ruff Day and we love them!

I cannot recommend Ruff Day highly enough! My dog has attended daycare for two years and HE LOVES IT! The staff is caring and kind, and the ratio of staff to dogs is low so that dogs are properly supervised. There are so many big and little things that this facility attends to that I cannot imagine going anywhere else. LOVE RUFF DAY!!!

Another great stay at Ruff Day for our 2 year old Boston Blanche. She gets so excited when we pull in the driveway. She can get a little rambunctious so she is placed with dogs matching her energy. They take such good care of her. All the employees love her and I can tell the feeling is mutual. I recommend Ruff Day for either a one day play day or overnight if you are planning a trip.

It seems to me Mr. Arturo doesnt really care about the rules and whats needed to board your pet. If you were given 6 months to get your pets shots and you didnt then this is on You and the 1 star you gave Ruff Day is about you and the way you care about others. I give you 1 star fir being a pet owner and frankly you dont deserve to have a pet.As you said In you 1 star review.....YOU KNOW!!!!!I think those that truly care about their pets know Ruff Day is a 1st class boarding facility that put the safely of the other pets and staff 1st.

Our little guy cant wait to play with his friends and meet new ones every week. Oh... and the staff is so friendly.

First my Wally and now my Bodhi have their second family at Ruff Day. The care is exceptional, the staff are knowledgeable, personable, friendly and love dogs, and the place itself was designed by the owner Amy to be the best possible environment for the doggos to have fun, be socialized, learn and play. Bodhi goes almost every day, and enjoys his frequent sleepovers when I’m away.

Great place with a large outdoor area for the dogs to play. My dog looks forward to going each time!

Our dog, Delilah is always excited to go and seems to know what day she will be going. The staff is very friendly and helpful when I arrive and seem genuinely happy to see Delilah. She is a rescue and Ruff Day has helped her relate to other dogs.

Weve brought our dog there a few times and were very pleased with the staff and service. They upload pictures and videos throughout the day, which is important to us. I would recommend to anyone looking for a dog daycare.

Our mini Goldendoodle has been going to Ruff Day since he was four months old. Every time we turn into the parking lot, his excitement level soars! The staff has always been attentive to his needs and makes sure we are given updates upon arrival or pickup. It is an extremely clean and safe facility and our dog is loved like one of their own.

We have taken our dog there consistently for >2 years, but have had several repeat issues especially in the last year. The customer service is very poor, so although our dog has enjoyed going there, we may not be continuing.

RuffDay is awesome! The staff is great and our pup, Bella, loves going to daycare.

I say appt online which stated availability for today. I filled out all. At information a d submitted paperwork. Called today and no room? How does it accept my paperwork and say bring my dog in then 2 days later no room? Called 3 times Saturday no answers. Very poor customer service deffinetly dont reccomend. Of the website would have stated we full then that would be a different issue. It let me make appt and stated bring my dog in. I have al . At paperwork a d she is a 12 year old black lab.
