I am so grateful for the services (physical therapy, boarding andrehabilitation) that Theravet has provided for my little guy Tyler Rex. They have been there for him-- before and after his ccl surgery. He is healthier and happier than he has ever been. So pleased with the services and fortunate they are located so close to me. **Google Review for Thera-Vet Acres**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This is our second experience seeking therapy from Dr. Browne at Thera-Vet Acres, and we couldn’t be happier with the care our dog, Lucy, has received. Lucy was diagnosed with a rare congenital condition that will progressively worsen without regular treatment, so we’ve been coming in for electro-acupuncture since July and have recently added other modalities.Dr. Browne and the entire Thera-Vet staff have been absolutely amazing! They’ve shown incredible patience and understanding, especially when working with our very wiggly dog. It’s clear they truly care about their patients.We are so grateful to have access to such excellent care for Lucy. Thank you, Thera-Vet Acres, for everything you do!

We only rented a paddock for our sighthound group play date, but it was lovely and the dogs enjoyed it!

My 5 year old Rottie has been doing weekly PT in preparation for knee surgery. From reception, to doctors, to all the techs, Theravet has been a great experience. My dogs are my family and I feel that we are in very good hands with this team supporting us. My only opinion for improvement is name tags 😅 I cant remember names for the life of me and I always forget who we are working with as it does change with every appointment. But thats a me thing. I highly recommend this location for physical therapy. We have not yet used other services offered.

We love Theravet! Our Akita has done his post-surgery boarding and continued rehab at TVA for two TPLO surgeries and he absolutely loves it there. The staff is excellent and they care so much — and know so much — about the individual dogs they are working with, and our dog trusts them all so much and is able to truly relax even when doing things that must seem so weird to him. Doing therapy has given us the opportunity to have experts involved in his care and ensure that he has the best chance of recovering without aggravating other joints and having future injury risk or arthritis. The reports are thorough and they are very attuned to nuances of muscle mass, muscle spasms, and compensatory injury potential.Thanks to Brittany and Jaime for helping coordinate all of our boarding needs, and Micaela, Sarah, Izzy, Savannah, and all of the other therapy staff for treating our dog truly like he is their own. Also a big thank you to Dr Browne for helping us post surgery with interpreting xrays when our surgeon was unavailable.We are so grateful to have TVA in Rochester and will be customers for a lifetime to come!

Could not wish for a place that shows more care for our dog. Fantastic people with big hearts and great attitudes. Always willing to answer your questions and offer guidance. You can always tell that they dont just care for our dog... they care ABOUT our dog.

Ive been bringing my pup here for a couple years now for her physical therapy needs. Ive built the absolute best relationship with her care takers there. This past weekend, I needed boarding for the first time and I just felt so comfotable doing so! They asked me many questions at the get go to ensure they got Cocos daily routine set in stone, they sent me photos via email the evening of to show me how well Coco was doing, and they were just so very caring and understanding. I love this place and am happy to have Coco continue to come here for the rest of her days!

Our experience with Theravet is with dog boarding and we love it! This is a group of very caring and knowledgeable people who have treated our dogs (past and present) royally. We are very comfortable leaving our beloved buddy there and recommend this establishment wholeheartedly.

The team at Theravet Acres was warm, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. They were very patient and understanding with our anxious rescue pup. They gave us a comprehensive assessment (including a detailed report) and multiple treatment options. We never felt pressured into pursuing a course of treatment that we werent comfortable doing. They answered all of our questions and its clear they are truly in this field for the animals. Thank you, Theravet Acres for all your help!

Honestly, I regret putting so much money into my dogs physical therapy visits. It was very inconsistent in the sense of getting an appointment with a well trained vet tech, I would say there is only 1-2 good techs that handle the physical therapy visits there that really knew what they were doing. If you do not call within 24 hours they charge you a $50 fee if you cancel, which my air conditioner went out and I asked them if I could move my appointment the day of because my dog overheats easily and it is 90° and they called me back saying we should part ways which obviously the doctors husband has some anger issues. Mind you the amount of money I have spent on this place and on the initial doctor exam is very unprofessional and I will NOT recommend this place. Better off going with ROC pet rehab.

Excellent therapy vet for dogs. Were taking our Choc Lab there to regain use of back legs. Staff are very animal and owner centered and really love their jobs! Very satisfied as our dog continues to be able to regain use of back legs. Taking our dog there is something both our dog and I look forward to!

We have had the best experience with Thera-vet Acres! They did an absolutely phenomenal job with my dogs rehab and quite honestly saved my sanity. They always take great care of both the dogs and Wrigley and Bailey get so excited about day play! I cannot say enough about the quality of services for rehab and the caring staff that really love their work and all the animals ! Would highly recommend!

Theravet is top shelf with amazing dedicated animal loving office staff, techs and professionals. My Hudson wouldn’t be walking and running today without them.

Theravet is the only daycare and boarding place we will take our dog! They staff there is amazing and get to know each dog by name. Its perfect for large dogs because they have open, outdoor play pastures to keep them running around and tire them out every day! I would highly recommend sending your dog to Theravet, we love it!

We love Theravet as they are so flexible! Our 1 year old Rottweiler was in heat a few weeks before my husband and Is Eurotrip and Theravet had no problem boarding her! While there they would send email updates and even pictures! I love that they offer lots of play time and that it is outdoors as our girl loves being outside! They also recently hosted a Luau in celebration of the summer so they make it so fun for our pups! We continue to recommend Theravet!

Highly recommend TheraVet! I have had nothing but a great experience every time we have attended. My Riley is currently going for post-surgery rehabilitation. Dr. Browne and her staff are all wonderful!

Theravet has been a fantastic boarding and doggy day care center for my German Shepherd. They treat her like family and always send birthday cards. Highly recommended. Have been going here for a few years now.

This can hardly be considered a kennel. It truly is a doggie spa. Our dog is very used to being with us, and does not like being boarded. That all changed at Theravet Acres. Our old girl was happier when we picked her up than we left her a few days before. The techs are attentive, the facility is superb. Thanks You!

Just wanted to thank Dr. Kristen Browne, Jenna and staff for taking such good care of my Stewie. he received laser therapy as well as water therapy in the HF location.Stewie enjoyed his acupuncture sessions with Dr. Browne at the Webster location.He was diagnosed with a brain tumor in June 2021. He had radiation for the tumor but at his age (10) he also had some back pain and hip weakness, so he had acupuncture treatments about every two weeks.It did help with his pain and mobility.Sadly I lost my boy last week due to an unrelated condition, he had liver cancer.Just wanted to say thanks again everyone at Theravet for their compassion and kindness to me and of course my Stewie.You can tell when somebody actually cares about your pet❤️

Our dog made great progress thanks to everyone at Theravet Acres. We took him there for about 2 years. For the first month he was boarded full time and then we followed up with regular appointments for physical therapy. Now we only take him for occasional chiropractor visits and massages when necessary

They do a great job keeping you updated when boarding your dog and really take the time to get to know your dogs individual needs.

They took care of my big 112 lb shepherd mix following TPLO surgery, and they worked wonders with him. He could hardly walk and they had him up and around in just couple weeks. They were always available to us if I needed help with him. He loves them, always happy when we go back for therapy sessions

Very friendly staff; however, my dog was injured during a dog fight there, left with a scar and subsequent vet visit. Was notified in email and no concessions offered. I still paid in full for that stay. In addition, my pup seems to always come home with a rash in his arm pits after staying here. Im not sure what causes his allergic reaction while staying here.

Dr Browne and her staff are great with our dog. He has improved physically under their care. Highly recommend.

Staff are great, their knowledgeable and take their time with injured animals. As with any animal services, the price is kinda high, if you can afford to take your pet I would recommend theravet for your fur babys physical therapy treatment

We called 1 month ago to speak with a Vet or Therapist about our pet dog who does not have use of her back legs. We hoped to discuss a wheelchair and possible therapy. We were told they would have someone call. They never did to this day.

My Jackson absolutely loves the time away from home to play with other dogs and humans. Since his first adventure, he pops with excitement when we make the turn onto Kennedy Rd!

Theravets staff is loving and attentive. Their therapy made all the difference in our dogs recovery. I highly highly recommend them to anyone with a dog in need!

These techs at this facility are surely professional and nicest people to deal with. The many issues our Annie had to deal with they met head on and that made the difference In her amazing recovery.

Weve taken our German Shepherd here for several months. What they have been able to accomplish to relieve her pain and improve her movement has been amazing.

Polaris goes here weekly for day play and LOVES it. They have big outdoor play pens and are very careful to keep play groups small and appropriately matched. The staff are well trained in dog behavior and he LOVES them.Weve also used them for boarding. Love them!

Eight years ago. our lab puppy had therapy after ACL surgery at TheraVet (surgeon recommended we go there) and she is a healthy agile 9 year old now.When we travel we have boarded our dogs with Theravet because the staff is friendly, responsible and knowledgable. Recently, I had emergency surgery and was relieved that Theravet could take our dogs for a few days. Complete confidence in them!
