PetSmart Grooming

Brought my pets in for grooming to the Montauk location. Both were dragged by the slip leash through the entrance to the back. I was not allowed to see my pets until after I paid my bill, which was NOT what I was told it would be…it was more. I finally got my pets back with bald spots all over them, nails NOT trimmed. I contacted corporate who told me the store manager would contact me. To date, I have never received a call or response to my dissatisfaction. I will NEVER use their grooming service ever again and have told me friends the same. I had to take my pets to another groomer to correct and even out the hair.

I have been having grooming services for years here. But this visit was horrendous. They shaved my bichon poo until she bled. When they brought her out, she was terrified, shaking and I asked what happened and the Lady said,this is your fault for letting her hair get this longFirst, shes been there before with long hair. In fact, I specifically asked to keep ears and tail long just trim. They cut short. So years of her hairstyle is now gone.This isnt something that can be fixed. They mutilated my dog.Im looking for a new place. Very disappointed in service and lack of accountability.

The store is extremely clean and usually has everything stocked. On and off lately because no fault of there own things are in short supply. Also prices has steadily risen, even as someone that is a loyal customer.

Without a doubt Alex is the best by far groomed Ive found in years.. shes kind and gentle knowledgable and sincere. .

The store is very clean. The pets they have seem very healthy. And the prices are good.

We were happy with the grooming service. We will definitely bring in Sugar again in the future.

Very friendly staff who treats your pet with utmost care and kindness.

Excellent store. Very clean and well stocked. Employees are very knowledgeable, friendly and take good care of all the different animals that are there. The cat area in particular is always clean and the cats are obviously well cared for. There is always someone in the cat enclosure feeding, cleaning or playing with them. You can tell that the cats feel happy and safe.
