Romp and Play Dog Park

4th (now 6th) time here and Ive seen only 1 dog. Nice spot, but it needs more canine activity.Sad Freckle

I would steer clear of this park. My dog was attacked there yesterday afternoon. As we came into the gate a woman told me her dog likes to be in charge and may growl at my dog. Once we got through the gate her dog started biting and attacking my dog. Thankfully we got out of there with only minor injuries. The owner of the dog was a very elderly woman with grey hair and her dog was a yellow poodle. There is a nice dog park in Saratoga.

One of my dog and I favorite dog parks in the area! Ive only seen watchful and responsible owners with well behaved pups! Nice kept park with 3 different fenced in areas. My dog loves all her buddies that come and play here! Below is a pic of my girl loving it ( it was a rainy day , normally not muddy like that)!

Great place to bring a dog but.. not enough dogs go there and they could use more pooch activities.

The park itself is nice, but for some reason theyre putting in a gazebo smack in the middle of the biggest park. It doesnt make much sense to me, I would have so much rather had them put in some fun stuff for the dogs to play on. Also the owner is a bit sketchy, he didnt recognize us when we were there so he started quizzing us on how we signed our dog up to make sure we were members. It made me feel pretty unwelcome, I wish he had just come out and asked us if we were members instead of playing games trying to see if we were lying. However its a decent park and for the cost its worth it to have some place for my pup to play.

The dog park, which is a volunteer-based, nonprofit organization, is under a new board of directors as of January 2020. They are very friendly and approachable and are open to any ideas for improvements. My dog loves going, he gets so excited when he realizes where hes headed! It is his favorite place to go on weekend mornings, where he gets to hang out with his dog pals.

My dogs intuitively know when they are going and howl with excitement from well over a mile away. Three fenced in areas (one large area with a gazebo, a smaller area for smaller dogs and a third usually reserved for training). A people-porta-potty is available, as well as well as doggie-bags and receptacles. There are a few water bins about but good idea to bring your own water and remember to have your membership tags.with you.

I showed up and the Park is empty and the sign says Dogs have to turn in a DNA sample before joining 🤔 I always clean up after my dog, so turning in a DNA sample might be the reason this beautiful park is empty 😞

Always a good time for all the puppers....Definitely one of the nicest dog parks Ive been to....The dogs have a great time with all the other doggies....Id definitely recommend it....
