I was told by a good friend to take my dog there to be groomed. It was great advice, and I have been taking my Hungarian Vizsla there for almost 2 years now

If you’re reading this review wondering if you should try this place out, the answer is YES! They are a one stop shop for all your pet supply needs! This is how my dogs sleep after a day at daycare with them.. We tried multiple day cares before this one and I now won’t trust any others my dogs! Not only do we do daycare here, I have their baths done here (Alyssa does an AWESOME job btw if you’re looking for a groomer) , all of our toys , treats , dog food I get here PLUS training! I have tried everything they offer for the dogs, daycare , training grooming and in every aspect I couldn’t be happier ! The owners are so great and so friendly, if you’re looking for a place that cares about your pets the way you do, this is the place!!!

First time visitor. We used the DIY canine bathing station and it was great! The room was clean, all sorts of shampoo and brushes and the dryer were provided. There were even two rubber aprons hanging on the wall. After the bath is over there is a couple of dog biscuits sitting on the drying towel. That was a nice touch.

I took our dog for his first ever professional groom with Cassie. It was the best price that I’ve found in this area, and they did a full service on him when I originally booked for just a trim. He is normally very shy and easily spooked around new people, bur he loved Cassie and she made him feel so comfortable. I’m so glad we made the choice to go with Pampered Pooch and he’ll definitely be going back before the holidays!

We use Pampered Pooch for daycare, basic grooming, and toys.The staff is fantastic and you can tell they care about the dogs immensely.Manager who runs the daycare is extremely attentive and has it running like a well oiled machine. Very communicative.Have never felt anything but 100% safe leaving my dog with them.

Great place for grooming! My dog gets pretty anxious and can be fussy getting her nails trimmed. They did a great job and didn’t make me feel like she was a “hassle” for being a little anxious. They are also very quick (and still very meticulous) compared to other places that leave your dog in a crate all day. She was in and out in two hours. Staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable. Would recommend!

Our dog attended doggy daycare for 7+ years a couple days a week and it was one of his favorite places in the whole world. Rob, Derek and their employees care a great deal about providing everyone with the best care possible. Rob has so much knowledge when it comes to dogs and his passion for providing a fun and safe enviornment is evident. Were so gratful to have found Pampered Pooch and would recomend them to anyone!

They are the best! It is very obvious how much they love the animals they take care of! I feel so comfortable leaving my dog with separation anxiety with them. He loves to go there and gets to play with all his friends - dogs and humans! I cant recommend them enough!

The Pampered Pooch & Pals always go above and beyond with their services, if your looking for experienced groomers this is the place. They always take such good care of my dog Stella, and don’t get me started on the staff!! They are so knowledgeable and are so helpful with anything you need, they are so kind and love your dogs as if they were their own. The daycare/training is fantastic and is run by Rob, he is the true dog whisperer!!!! If I could give this place a 6 star review I would but sadly I can’t, they are truly the neighborhood pet center.

Great experience always at pampered pooch the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and when dropping our three Huskies at daycare I never have to worry because I know theyre in greatest safest hands

This was our first visit here and very pleased!! We took our recent rescue shih szu there to be groomed was very hesitant because never used them before and always worried about leaving them. We were more than happy, every staff member is beyond helpful and pleasant. Alyssa groomed Franklyn and treated him like her own dog. Already booked his next appointment, love, love this place!!!

I love this place....Friendly staff and a great selection of dog stuff and daycare and do it yourself dog baths...all around awesome...I highly recommend it!!

Rob & his team know & love dogs more thanAny business around except our vets perhaps &its a close tie. Rob has an extensive historyIn dog show & now dog training-/: we haveBrought dogs with difficult behaviors to him& he helped our human & pet familytremendously. His classes are medium sized.Ive seen Rob take a shy or mildly aggressiveDog into his guide & that dog is happily heeling ina fraction of time. We have been coming here for14 years & keep coming back. All staff isCommitted & exceptional. Rob? -I love ALLdogs. Cant get better.

The owners are wonderful people. They are so informative on all your dogs needs. They will order just for you if they do not have your dog food you need. They are no higher in price than anyone else, if not cheaper, with their incentives like the $10 punch card, or certain dog foods, buy 12 get one free, and the information they provide when I ask them a question is priceless. Their self-cleaning area for your dog is always so clean with plenty of towels, soaps etc. Just give their store a try and you will never shop anyplace else for your pets needs.

Reviewing for self serve dog wash: The man at the counter was very helpful, the set up was easy to use. There were treats afterwards, a ramp for my dog to get into the tub, a collar when in the tub to keep your pooch in the tub. Shampoo, scrub brush, forced air dryer, ear cleaner, nail clippers, cotton pads for ears, basically whatever you need all for $18.29 for 30 minutes.

I highly recommend this place. They have everything you need for your pet at great prices. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

I love this store! What makes this store, are the owners! When I first went into the store, I was greeted by a very nice gentleman, Mr. Derek. Definitely, was welcoming, briefly, saying he and Mr. Ron are the new owners, included saying Mr.Brian is employeed, all have been friends for years. When first entering their store, the layout is so inviting, certainly, has a variety of items! The store is well kept. The staff, including, the owners are always willing to assist. What you are looking for, if they do not have, they will order! All are very knowledgeable. Shopping for your fur-baby ? Definitely, this is the store!

I cannot rave about this place enough! I have been a dog owner most of my adult life and this is the BEST place I have ever found to take care of my kids. Rob runs the cleanest, safest, MOST FUN dog daycare I have ever seen. If you want honest, caring, connected care for your four legged family this is the place.

I bring my Lhasa Apso here for grooming every 6 weeks: I cannot praise both Mikaela and Jennifer enough. They are the very best groomers. Their attention to every detail is exceptional and their care and compassion shown to my special little girl is outstanding. If you have not brought your pet here as yet, make an appointment right away - I guarantee you will be as amazed as I was the very first visit

Went today for the first time and they are great! Supper friendly staff, have along toys for a good price, lots of Rawhide free treats for a great price, and we even got a picture with Santa! Def going here for treats for now on instead of a corporation store

I was so pleased with Jacks groom at pampered pooch. It only took one hour - she only does one dog at a time - and no drying cages. My mini schnauzer Jack was adorable when I picked him up, and very calm and happy. She did exactly what I asked. I am always nervous trying a new groomer, but this worked out great. I will be very pleased to bring him back again. He is so much more comfortable now, and we are both relieved! The groomer has a very nice and gentle personality for working with animals.

I always am greeted by name and the owner engages in quick, friendly conversation. I like the fact that the owner is aware of what I purchase on a monthly basis. He is always on top of dog food recalls, etc. The store is clean and orderly. Prices remain competitive. The store hours are readonable for working people. I would highly recommend this store for all of your pets needs.

Jen, the groomer is terrific. The store itself is very well stocked with anything you need for your furry friend. The owners are helpful, friendly. And just plain nice people. Better then the big places.

I took my two dogs (boxer lab and border collie) here for grooming and the groomer, Jennifer, did a fantastic job. She was very friendly and knowledgable about different dog breeds. She took time to do an in depth consultation about how I wanted the dogs groomed. They were finished quickly and they were groomed exactly as Id asked. I highly recommend Pampered Pooch and Pals!

Love this place. We always buy our dog food and supplies here. The staff is friendly. They close early sometimes, so check in before you leave the house if its after 5PM. We really want to try the self grooming service they offer..I think its $15 for 30 minutes.

Wide variety of dog food, treats, bird food, fish food. They give out samples of food so you dont have to buy the bag and find out your pet doesnt like it. A lot of places dont do that. Its like a down home pet store.Grooming and daycare available.Friendly staff, family business.They have a coupon system. I like this place

We have a small dog who suffers from anxiety and we have struggled to find a good groomer with the patience he needs. Not only did Pampered Pooch make him look AMAZING with arguably his best hair cut ever, but the staff was so friendly and welcoming to him- we couldn’t thank them enough!

Great local store, pet friendly, pet grooming, reasonable prices (only like a buck or 2 over Chewy prices even with Chewys membership subscription for renewal) which with my sense of we need food now, is great to swing in and grab what I need. Elk Antlers are awesome for my pups and also they honor brands with so many purchased and you get a bag free. I know they do this with multiple brands and I know for sure they do with Blue Buffalo. Also they have my Pupercorn ( Popcorn like treats) which are perfect for pups in and out alot and expect rewards upon entry. Also low calorie too. :).O also, great service and they will talk you through most any decisions and speciality needs.

The new owners have done a great job with the business! Everything is bright and clean, and their inventory is not only extensive, but reasonably priced as well. Everyone is friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable and they make it a pleasure to support local businesses!

Took our pups for the first time to the Express Bath. The staff walked me through everything available, which was a lot more than I expected! They were super friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be back! Only got shots of the one bc it took both of us (myself and my husband) to bathe the other one.

The pampered Pooch and pals is a great place to go for all your pets needs with a wide variety of leashes, toys and kibble. They also offer services of doggie daycare, grooming and self-bathing rooms.They also offer a 7-week basic obedience training classes, advice and much more. The stuff is very friendly and go out of their way to assist you.

They did such an amazing job with our big handsome boy Reilly. Hes a little skidish but they did such a great job. His a Golden so hair is so difficult to maintain. Thank you all so much!

I love this pet store you are welcome to bring your pet in as long as it is well behaved, they have a wide variety and large assortment of items especially for dogs and cats, staff is quite knowledgeable and very honest when you ask about specific items for instance flea and tick treatment or the thunder shirt for dogs. When I was caring for my granddaughters 2 parakeets I ask the owner if he could get cuttle bones in bulk as other pet stores not so local sold them that way and I was more inclined to by 6 to 9 at a time in bulk rather than the smaller more expensive packaged ones and he did the following week I was quite pleased to find a box full of cuttle bones for my choosing meaning I no longer had to drive out of my way or pay for the more expensive prepackaged ones. They also have a rewards program which you dont find very often in local merchants another benefit to shopping local. Most of all they remember you and your pet are very pleasant and accommodating today was Novas first outing in a store she could go in and she was greeted so enthusiastically and with such an honest cordial hello we will definitely be returning 5 plus stars to Pampered Pooch thank you for being a business in Ballston Spa.

Washing two dogs has never been been so easy. I never want to wash the pups at home again! The guy at the counter was super helpful. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Very helpful staff. I’m new to the area and have been a repeat customer since day one. I didn’t catch her name but the groomer did a great job with both my dogs, one being anything but cooperative.

Love coming into this store. He has the most well behaved and sweet dogs. Always has the food we feed our dog Hanna.

Puppy class was great! You totally get your moneys worth as long as you put in the work with your pooch. And the selection of treats and toys is awesome!

This place is great! My pooch goes there a couple days a week and loves it. Rob is great with him. The grooming is also top notch. Highly recommend.

Even during this pandemic the two guys who run the shop go out of their way to help their customers. I needed to buy something for my puppy super quick and they were kind enough to let me in and help me. They really do go above and beyond for the animals and their customers. would shop here any chance I get.

Dropped of Max our Schnauzer, after we were told she had done several schnauzer cuts and not to worry. I was even going to show her some pics before hand, but she insisted she knew what she was doing and not to worry.Well we go back and its not even close. She tried to back track and fix what she had done and complained about having to spend an extra 15 minutes trying to fix him. We left unhappy, but still paid. My wife goes back 2 days later to talk to her, but was told she wouldnt be there until the Saturday. The owner Mike spoke to my wife and said he has nothing to do with the grooming and she is separate and to come back when Jen the groomer is there. My wife goes back on Saturday and is treated rudely and poorly by both the owner and groomer. She maybe able to cut regular dogs, but not specialty dogs. If she had been up front in the beginning, we would have found someone else. She also said that no other Schnauzer owners have ever complained about her grooming. Max looks like another breed and not even a Schnauzer. Now we have to go somewhere else and pay again to get him groomed the right way. Would not recommend them. Customer service isnt good either, and thats why we stopped going there a long time ago. Somethings just dont change and they go through groomers like crazy. There is a reason for that..

I adopted a very stinky rotti mix yesterday. Took him directly to the Pampered Pooch for a bath. Derek (hopefully spelled right) was an absolute angel. I was nervous cause I didnt know this dog, and he is a big fella. Derek helped me so much with the cleaning, and advice on his ear infections. The folks here truly love animals.

They offer grooming and nails. Great prices and service. Best thing they take the time to offer suggestions and are careful about what they carry. Why? They care about their pets and yours!

My daughter dropped my 2 poms off for me & they have been there before and always got a trim & nails so thats what I told her to ask for.. when I pick them up I find them shaved, with no call The groomer trying to cover her but tried to insist they were totally matted they may have had in their underbelly and rear but my dogs manes and top & side coat was NOT matted!! my dogs are traumatized and even with sweaters on are shaking from being so cold im sorry if the mechanic found something wrong on my car they would call, I never ever said she could shave them & she took it upon her self to do so... if you read up about poms you will find in no circumstance should they be shaved .Groomers dont need to be licensed in this state and if you love your pet DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!!!

Grooming services are excellent. I am a barber and I know how difficult it can be working with clients that won’t sit still. Jen did an excellent job getting my two neurotic dogs groomed and looking great. The owners and staff are always friendly and they have a well-stocked store with good prices.

Not your average retail outlet that also sells pet products. This is what they do!

Really good groomer, Jen. Well stocked pet store, with friendly knowledgeable store owners and staff. Not a chain- store operation.Now theres another groomer as well, Michela, and she did a great job every time with our snobby Shih Tzu. New owners, but same great service and competitive pricing.
