Our experience with The Strutting Pooch has been absolutely wonderful. It has been almost 2 years since we began using their wide array of services. In this review Id like to specifically highlight Maegan, who hosts doggy daycare for The Strutting Pooch. From the moment we enrolled Jazzy, its been clear that this isnt just a daycare—its a community that truly cares about its furry clients and their owners.Jazzy adores her daycare days; she practically wags her tail off every morning when she knows its time to see her friends at Maegans. The wrap-around services they offer are top-notch; from their spacious play areas to the thoughtful daily reports complete with adorable photos of Jazzy in action, were always in the loop about her day. They even provide taxi services to daycare in case something comes up last minute, or if you need a helping hand.What sets Maegans place apart is her seamless communication. Whether its a quick update on how Jazzy is doing or coordinating special requests, she makes it effortless. Its clear she prioritizes not just the dogs but also ensuring peace of mind for us owners.If youre looking for a daycare that goes above and beyond, look no further than Maegans with The Strutting Pooch. Soo happy I found the Strutting Pooch, I only wish I knew about them sooner! The staff is so friendly and sweet to my 18lb chihuaha/terrier mix. They have so many services for reasonable prices! We mainly do the 30-min visits, and they always walk my dog around the neighborhood, play with her inside the house for a little bit, and refresh her water bowl. I love their app where you can easily communicate with the staff and schedule services. I also love the reports and pictures they send for every visit! Definitely recommend the Strutting Pooch 1000%!

We traveled to CA for a funeral, and had to leave our cat home all alone for the first time. The Strutting Pooch takes care of cats as well as your dogs! We’ve used them before when our dog was still with us, and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation! They are the very best around. Our cat was very happy to see them.

Roxy’s Strutting Pooch takes wonderful care of our pups when we are away on vacation. Our pups can stay in their home where they are most comfortable and have Roxy’s staff visit them to meet their needs, play, and give them lots of love and pets. We return home to a house that has been checked daily and happy pups.

Over last year+ we have used doggy daycare and boarding for our dog and in our home care for our cat. All wonderful experiences! Our original pup unfortunately passed last Spring. When we decided to rescue a new pup last Fall, and we got her in doggy daycare soon after. She’s a bit of a hard case as she doesn’t like people she does not know. But when we introduced her to Maegan for a daycare meet & greet, our pup liked her almost immediately! She has also since boarded there, and unsurprisingly it was a great experience .

Strutting Pooch is the best! I have used several companies in the past and had some bad experiences (namely with the on line service at Rover).Emily and her team did a great job. They were good to my 2 dogs, my cat, and 4 chickens! Always on time and they do everything asked of them and more. They go the extra mile, sent me pictures every day and let me know how every visit went. I could not give a higher recommendation. They are awesome! They loved and cared for my pets like they were theirs - here’s just a few pics from the Strutting Pooch when they took care of them for me.

We have been coming to the strutting pooch for grooming for the last 2 years. All of the groomers have been wonderful but Lola has been beyond the best of any groomer we have ever had. You can tell how much she really loves all the dogs she grooms, especially ours! She also is a great communicator through out the time they spend with her. We are a new client and have brought both of our dogs to be groomed. The groomers and staff are very friendly, great communication, exceptional care for your animal and amazing customer service along with excellent grooming talent. We have been through several groomers in the past couple of years but my wife and I feel that we finally found our go to place. Thank you!!

I was referred to Strutting Pooch by an acquaintance at the dog park and have had wonderful experiences with them. Maegan has been our doggie daycare provider and Shama loves it there. Maegan has always made us, especially Shama feel at home and comfortable. I cannot recommend Strutting Pooch for grooming and daycare services enough!

Olivia always does a great job grooming my service dog. It is evident that she takes her time and treats him with care. I only trust Roxy’s the strutting pooch to handle him. I am so glad that we found them.

Strutting Pooch is a first class operation. We started using them as soon as we moved to the Saratoga Springs area after having several bad experiences with Rover. They go out of their way to accommodate last minute changes, send a full report with pictures after each visit and their grooming quality is outstanding. I can’t recommend them more highly! My Maggie and Lexi love them all!

As an Employee of Strutting Pooch and a client, I can say that they are the best pet sitting service around! There’s no one else I’d trust to watch my fur babies while I’m away. With a detailed report, lots of photos, and the gps tracker to show exactly where my pup walked puts me at ease when I’m away. We always go the extra mile while watching your fur babies. Look at all the smiling clients! We treat every pet like they are our own! I highly reccomend The Strutting Pooch, we have services for all your needs!

I wouldn’t even give it a 1 star.The Strutting Pooch-Beyond disappointed in this company, never have I wrote a bad review in any company but this one was beyond not okay. They were not once early, always 10-45 mins late, workers lied when they said they got there (we have cameras showing when they got there), made me pay for times I didn’t request, never had my puppy out for a 30 minute visit that I paid for as they always leaving 5-7 minutes early even after coming 45 minutes late most times. I would not recommend this company to anymore.

Best dog walking service I have ever used. Every person loves what they do and gives great care to our pets. I love their app and ease of requesting services. Their reports post walk and pictures are awesome.

We used the Strutting Pooch for the first time this past weekend for our fur babies. I cannot speak highly enough kd them here, I wish I could give more stars! Excellent and prompt communication, photos sent daily, and loving care from the sitters. They administered meds to my elderly cat and took care of everything. I’m so happy to have found this service. I was using this company for about 6 years and had no real issues until recently. My dog was severely injured by another dog under their care. He was staying at a boarding facility I booked through them on their time to pet app.They truly acted like it wasn’t their fault my dog was injured under their care. The insurance the boarder carried only paid out 1000 on a 10, 000 bill. Roxy the strutting pooch owners offered zero !When I spoke with the dog warden he told me they have had several calls on this company. Previous employees reached out to tell how negligent they have become over the last year.Please find another company to watch your pet!

We use Maegan for boarding and the occasional daycare for our dog. In the past weve used Strutting Poochs dog walking services. Those weve worked with have been great and Bama, our dog, enjoys staying at Megans for overnights.

These guys are the best! Have been using them as day sitters while watching a family pet for a few weeks. They are prompt and communicative and the doggos seem to enjoy their visits. Thank you for the great work!

The only service I will use for my animals while away! I have two large dogs, chickens and a bunny and all of the employees at the strutting pooch went above and beyond at their visits with my animals. Not only did they exceed my expectations of caring and loving my animals but they also brought in mail, packages, cleaned up dog waste and even cleaned the bunny litter box and cage. Each day/visit I received detailed reports and pictures and this really eased my mind about being away and missing all of my pets. I could go on and on about all my positive experiences with them! Will always use this service.

Callie loves going to see Shelby at The Strutting Pooch! She is a standard poodle/Samoyed mix and is a year and a half old so very high energy. Shelby is always up for the craziness that comes with Callie’s grooming appointments. She comes home happy and exhausted from having so much fun.

The strutting pooch did an amazing job. We just picked up a rescue and got him bathed and nails done and hes doing really well. He has been super happy. As a service the staff are attentive and kind. He will be making regular visits Im sure.

Our family has been with Strutting Pooch for several years. I am always impressed by the loving, professional, and quality care that they provide for our cats. Our cats had a rough start to life. They contracted panleukopenia as kittens before we adopted them. They are survivors and precious to us. The folks who take care of our cats give us peace of mind when we cannot be there to care for them and that means a lot to us. Bridget had never been away from our family since we adopted her, and I wasn’t sure what to expect leaving her for five days at strutting pooch for dog boarding.I received pictures of her and a message every evening. Maegan actually went above and beyond for my sensitive pug.I highly recommend the Strutting Pooch for dog boarding without kennels- Bridget came home healthy and herself after her stay at this free-range house, definitely set up for dogs to be comfortable.

I just feel it needs to be noted that this company and the staff within it, starting with those who built it from scratch All the way to the newest member they hire, its all about the pets and care of pet clients and their families. This company consists of all pet friendly humans who can easily adopt to your pets needs and schedules. The staff are reliable and dependable and will instantly become fast friends with your family fur babies. I would know. I used the service when I sadly had to travel without my babies, and then after COVID hit, I found myself asking why I didnt just spend every day with the animals just as easily. Shortly thereafter, I decided to become part of the team. Its a fun and important duty and we are so animal friendly you would be neglecting those fur babies of yours for not giving them/us a try 😉

We use their dog sitting/walking service. Everyone is reliable and professional. Our dogs always enjoy their time with them.They have helped us find last minute overnight coverage for a long weekend when others fell through. We went away again recently and it felt good to know our pups were being cared for. Easily recommend them to anyone.

I used to use Strutting Pooch consistently to walk my 90 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback (can be a really stubborn guy) mid day and have always had a great experience. The walker they sent genuinely loved my dog as if he was her own. Ive seen my dog interact with her too and I can tell the love was mutual. I hadnt used them for a while due to COVID and other changes but reached out on a whim on a Saturday mid day to see if they could send someone over in a few hours of me reaching out. Not only did they get back to me within minutes- but they were able to accommodate. I definitely recommend Strutting Pooch if in need of a dog walking service! I havent utilized their other services so I cant speak on those but you can tell the employees truly love the dogs.

We have had The Strutting Pooch watch our pups a number of times now, and every time they have been reliable and kind. They send updates describing exactly what they did with the pups, along with pictures of the dogs at each visit. Fantastic pet sitting business! We used them to pet sit our cat for a week while we were on vacation, one daily 20 minute visit. The entire experience working with them was seamless, Kayla was wonderful.Detailed daily updates, pictures, etc gave us the peace of mind that everything was taken care of. We love The Strutting Pooch! Ever since we found them and signed them up to be our cat sitters when we are away, weve had peace of mind knowing that our kitties are well-cared for. We dont worry about them anymore when were gone, although we still miss them! Chris is one of the sitters and Holmes and Charlie love him! He gives them lots of love and sends us cute pictures so we can see our boys everyday. He is professional and reliable. Excellent dog walking service. They are incredibly responsive, professional, and reliable. I especially enjoy the fact I can easily book and communicate over their website. My dog is a pandemic puppy, not used to being home alone during the day, but he is very happy and pleasantly tired after his daily walks with The Strutting Pooch!

Absolutely the best! We have been through several sitters for our insanely energetic GSP and finally we have found a perfect match. Sylvia and her staff at The Strutting Pooch work so well with our dog!The Strutting Pooch staff has meshed wonderfully with Gunners outgoing and needy personality. It was immediately obvious that Sylvia is a dog lover and after our first visit we knew she and her staff would be able to give our dog the attention that he craves. Being able to fully trust someone who will be taking care of not just your pet but also your home while you are away is something we thought we would never find. Thankfully we have found that in Sylvia Fletcher and her Strutting Pooch staff.

Such a great company. They always take care of my animals when I go on vacation. All the sitters are wonderful and professional. I feel very assured with the detailed notes and pictures I receive after every visit. The app is the best! It is easy to schedule visits and the reports are awesome. They are flexible and accommodating to my last minute changes and requests.

The groomers are wonderful. They are friendly, and you can tell they love dogs. They will call if they have a question while grooming. My little one always comes out looking awesome!

My elderly dog Peyton loves the Strutting Pooch! She had so much fun on her vacation playing with little Biscotti and Willow (Phyllis) and all the other dogs that come and go. The Strutting Pooch team are very caring and loving to all animals and they were very loving and caring to my elderly dog Peyton. We would bring her back in a heartbeat and have nothing but great things to say about the Strutting Pooch.

This was the first time we left our VERY large dog with a pet service. We couldnt be more happy with the care our dog received from Strutting Pooch care giver - Richard. We had total peace of mind and got detailed daily reports. Our big guy was happy as could be when we got home - he obviously was very well cared for! Will definitely use this service again! The Strutting Pooch pet sitters are the people to call if you are looking for a reliable, pet loving, person to take care of your pet! Very professional to deal with...you can tell they really love what they are doing! I feel completely confident and comfortable having them watching my dog!!

Karen seems like a nice enough person but she has a difficult time with follow through. We had spoken early pier in the week and scheduled a time for her to meet my animals and fill out the paperwork for her to stay over night with my two cats the following week after Memorial Day. She didnt show up. The next morning I called her and asked her if she was still interested and she said she was really busy and very sorry she would be there in an hour and a half. 3 hours later she called and cancelled her commitment to staying 4 nights with my animals, which was scheduled for this coming Wednesday and today was, Monday, Memorial Day, leaving me two days to try and find someone. She isnt very reliable.

I cant say enough good things about this service. I have Katherine come walk my dogs 4 days a week and my pups LOVE her and being let out. Its so nice being able to trust her with my fur-children. Shes always on time and constantly goes above and beyond for my animals. 10/10 recommend to anyone thinking about hiring a dog walker. Thank you guys again so much!!!

First time using a puppy daycare service. On top of that we were visiting Sarstoga (we live in NH) and they were so helpful with picking up pups at hotel and making it easy not to worry about the pups. Thanks Chris to you and your team for treating our pups like they were your own!

Love them!!!!!Their GPS Dog and Sitter Mapping is incredible! I can see the path my dog Sully walked each day. I also love the the personal attention and detailed letters I get after each walk. Great Company! Really Nice people.

My puppy went to roxys for his first professional grooming and it was such an easy experience!! It took an hour, he had a blast playing and giving kisses to all, and he looks and smells fantastic! I wish he could be this clean all the time 😂 we will definitely be going back to roxys!

Did a meet and greet 2 weeks ago and everything seemed totally fine. Confirmed with the women who would be doing boarding the night before I left and she canceled on me. Claiming they tried calling me and I never received a voicemail or email. Absolutely the worst experience knowing you’re leaving the country and have no one to watch your animals the day before you leave.

Im so happy I found them. My doodle became very matted. They did an absolutely beautiful job grooming him. LOVE THEM!!!! I highly recommend them for grooming. They are the nicest people to deal with.

I have taken my dog here a couple of times for grooming and they have done an excellent job both times. My dog seems to enjoy his visits,too, so I will continue to bring him here. The service is very conscientious of health and safety.

We just used Strutting Pooch for the first time with our 2 senior pugs. It was a great experience! We did 2 overnights and a mid day check in. We had 2 different sitters (one for the overnights and 1 for the mid day Check in). Each sitter was great at communicating through the app and sending pics and updates. It was great to know they work as a team so we could be confident someone would be here to check in. We came home to happy dogs!!! Will book with them again!

I have a companion dog who fully expects a companion if I’m out of town. The Strutting Pooch is totally awesome. They are always quick to respond and my dog loves them. They are truly dog lovers and took care of my dog as if he were their own. Even though he is a finicky eater he did not skip any meals. They played with him, took him on walks and kept him happy. I felt comfortable with them from the first meeting and they are insured and bonded. Love their service and have peace of mind when I travel.

When you drive like an A- hole, remember you have an advertisement on your vehicle.Hopefully no animals where in the vehicle.

Awesome, reliable service. I went on vacation for a week, and instead of putting my dog in an expensive kennel 35 mins away (which he hates), they came to my place and took great care of him, and even kept me updated on his hiking trips they went on and how he was doing. came back to a happy dog with a happy wallet. Would recommend to any busy pet owner who cares about their dog!!!

I want to thank the owners of Strutting Pooch for offering grooming services during these terrible times. While many are forced to stay home, they are continuing to provide a great service for pets in need. Our dogs fur is becoming matted due to an overdue need for grooming services. This has resulted in early stages of skin sores. When hearing this, the owner immediately called to fit me in for grooming. For anyone reading this and want to condemn them for doing business during the COVID shut down; RELAX. With waivers, Groomers can legally groom pets with medical issues such as sores from matted fur and coming directly from Cuomos website: Any business that only has a single occupant/employee has been deemed exempt and need not submit a request to be designated as an essential business). So to all you single person businesses; dont let others tell you that it is illegal to make money and provide for your family!
