My puppy and I had the pleasure of working with Dana in her perfect puppy program, and I am so happy with the results and how much she has impacted my pup throughout our sessions! From the first lesson when he was only 2 months old to now 5 months old it has shown that Dana knows A LOT about dog behavior and successful techniques. Not only did Dana help solidify the basic commands and manners with the baseline to teach him more, help crate train, leash train, potty train and more but she is also extremely personable and is easy to spend over an hour with training your dog! She was always on time, organized, and dedicated to improving my pups behavior in his puppy stages. By the end of our sessions he knew her name and got excited when I said we had training!I absolutely recommend Dana to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, successful and just an all around great trainer. This is my pup sitting handsome paying attention to me at a busy outdoor space with plenty of other dogs thanks to Dana!

Highly highly recommend Dana! Rylie and I had done puppy classes about a year earlier (elsewhere), but hadnt kept up. As a result, Rylie had developed some (minor) behaviors that needed some work.Dana was able to give us the confidence and know-how to allow us to communicate and trust each other, and Rylie is now an even better punkin than she was before.Dana works with you and your dog on what you BOTH need, is extremely knowledgeable, and explains everything she does so that you know what and why youre doing it.If youre in need of any dog training, call Dana - you will NOT be disappointed!

Highly recommend Coach Dana. She is very knowledgeable, listens to what you are trying to accomplish and makes sure every technique she teaches makes sense. The lessons were fun and we actually looked forward to them. It was nice to have her cheering us on the whole time.We did a 6 session plan with our 9 month old puppy. Sessions were biweekly. In between sessions we were given homework to work on. We are beyond thrilled with the results so far. If you put in the work and do the homework its so rewarding to see your pooch excel.

Heimdall is super smart, but somehow the concept of “get the toy and bring it back” didn’t register no matter what I tried. Dana figured out how to tap into his GSD “protection drive genes”, applied it to fetch and then suddenly everything clicked into place! He still prefers tug, so now we have a fun new game I call “Fetch n’ Tug”. We both win! ❤️THANK YOU SO MUCH K9 Coach!!

Working with Dana over the past 8 weeks has done wonders for our pup, Rex. Accurately named after the T. Rex, he was an absolute monster; terrible on a leash, overly excitable, and incredibly anxious. While some issues are still present, Dana has helped us to quell the anxiety and reactivity to certain sounds by using techniques and commands such as “place” and “enough”. Not only has Rex received amazing training but my fiancé, Andrew, and I have learned so much as well. Thanks Dana for training our entire family! 🤗

I highly recommend Dana to train your dog. We had a unique case where we adopted a dog at 6 months of age, who had NO training whatsoever. Our dog had not been potty trained and suffered some severe separation anxiety. Dana crafted a custom training program to meet our needs, and Im happy to say that within just a handful of sessions our dog now: mostly potty trained, can be crated at night and while were away, walks like a pro, and knows all of the basic commands like sit/stays, leave it, touch, etc. Moreover, Dana helped us to better communicate and build a bond of trust with our dog, and for that we are so appreciative.

I couldn’t recommend Dana more. This is my first time using a professional trainer and I will never go back. She’s amazing with my puppy and knew a bunch about his bread and really tailored the training to him. I couldn’t be happier!

Dana is organized, professional, & super committed to doing what it takes to help owners with their dogs. She has a full video course on puppies, and never stops putting out helpful content. If you are looking for a great trainer who only wants to learn more to help you succeed each and every day in the local area she’s your first choice!

I would highly recommend Dana to anyone considering a dog trainer. She was incredibly knowledgeable, willing and able to pivot her sessions to more specific behaviors I wanted to address--even if it wasnt in her plan that day--and was really helpful in getting me through the first few months with my puppy. Hes a much better dog thanks to her help, and I feel much more set up for success than I wouldve on my own.

We brought home our chocolate lab Hollie a week before Christmas. She is our 9th dog and we wanted to make sure she would be a good and well behaved member of our household. We’ve had a multiple dog household for nearly 40 years and while all dogs went through basic obedience training with the local club we only did enough to maintain a semblance of order. Hollie, we decided, will be different as she will most likely be our last dog. So not knowing any trainers in our area we did a search and K9 Coach Dana popped up. We contacted Dana by email before getting Hollie and once she was home and settled Dana called and we set up our first appointment.I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Dana. She is a pleasant and energetic young woman who’s love for dogs really shows in her approach to training. She was concise in explaining the what and why of each step we were doing. Making sure we understood what she was asking us to do with Hollie in between our sessions (our homework) and being available for questions if we ran into any issues.Hollie graduated from her Puppy training today and we feel well equipped to keep the momentum rolling with her. We have learned some great tools to work with Hollie and have loads of fun at the same time.We highly recommend Dana to help you train your puppy (and you!).

Trust the process! My dog was pulling on walks and lunging at cars for 4 years. I took her to obedience class and had two personal trainers nothing was working. Then I found Dana. Wasnt sure how she was going to be any different but I listened to her and did what she asked and now my dog walks with a loose leash and is ignoring cars. Dana gets the job done!!

Dana is a godsend! We rescued Porkchop as a stray and had no information of his past. I would describe him as a street angel and house devil! Within minutes of our first session, Dana was able to identify the behaviors we needed to work on (Porkchop AND us humans). I was blown away at her calm, effective, and knowledgable approach! I also felt a HUGE sigh of relief knowing Dana was there to help us along this training journey. Dana is great with listening to our concerns and always provides strong recommendations for course-correction. She is also not afraid to call out the mistakes we humans may not realize we are making! Since we started with Dana, Porkchop has come a long way in regaining his confidence, etc. - and Dana was the right person to guide us! I am so grateful!!
