I recently took my four month old puppy here for a bath, trim and nail clipping. He looks, feels, and smells great. They were very kind to him. I will definitely be back and recommend the East Amherst location 😁

Consistently friendly staff with low prices, supplemented by coupons via mail or email - hard to beat!

Walked in and first thing I noticed is how clean the place is. For a pet store that lets anyone with a pet walk through this was very clean and orderly. No deuce on the floor, barking dogs, or any disorderly animal. The staff were very helpful, prices better than the bigger box stores, and staff that actually know something about animals. Overall 5 star service.

Claire’s nail was cut to short and started to bleed. The technician was even going to tell me until I asked what she was putting in her paw.

The best every single person here was engaging. My pooch got a bath, hair cut and nail trim. Very efficient, very friendly and above all professional. Great job to everyone here. Ill be back!

I love this store. They carry a wide array of pet supplies and a very competitively priced. Most importantly, they provide great service. The staff is courteous, friendly and knowledgeable.BTW, I’ve found that once you account for Chewy’s delivery charge Pet Supplies is very competitive.

Self dog wash is worth its weight in gold. My dog is miserable but our dirty dog card includes 5 self washes for $25 with soap provided. Also has a shop vac style dryer to use if desired. I bring my own towels because sometimes the stores smell like they got left in the washer too long, but I dont mind that to take any stars away, I leave some in the truck anyways. Saves our bath tub and another is located conveniently by Ellicott Creek Dog park!

Always have a great experience either shopping for my fur babies or getting all my 3 tanks full of fish supplies grooming always pleased just wish a thank you would come with the nice tip I leave 😊 just saying

Took my long coat shepherds for their first grooming and they came out gorgeous. Lee and Deana did a phenomenal job! Highly recommend!!

Dog Bath price went up $5 and the quality and cleanliness when down. Absurd how disgusting the self serve bath area was. Covered in hair and water, no towels, shampoo was almost out. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks.

Bridget is absolutely wonderful with my little dog Jinxie!

They typically never have the worms (hornworms or wax worms) that I like for my beaded dragon in stock. But its closer for me to get a bulb or quick stop for something last minute. I always enjoy seeing the cats in the back for adoption and would be lying if I said I didnt almost leave with one 😺. Staff is nice and relatively knowledgeable.

Took my cocker spaniel in for a grooming today and he got his best haircut ever. Such nice employee too

I had to go get something for my dogs ear infection. They new exactly what I needed and I was in and out. This product also works well. My dogs ears were cleared up after 2 days.

I love this store. They always have what I am looking for and if you are signed up on the app, you earn discounts and receive coupons. It has helped so much off the costs of our bill with two big dogs.

UPDATE: because of my other positive experiences, I have now also used there grooming service and it was absolutely wonderful! So add that to the list of positive things about this location.I just came back from a trip to the location on Transit Road in East Amherst. All I can say is wow! I made a very incorrect assumption that the staff all looked very young to me, and probably wouldnt know too much about the products but I took a chance and asked anyway. Boy was I wrong! There were three employees who were equally friendly, super helpful, and I was really very impressed with their knowledge base on all three products I questioned! I had my dog with me on this trip, and they gave her treats, pets, and were just so nice to both of us. I left the store with all of my questions answered, everything I was looking for, again extremely impressed with the knowledge base of the staff, and this is absolutely my new pet supply store! Highly recommend.

My dog Izzy loves his groomer Mya.. she does a beautiful job on his thick Samoyed hair! When we enter the store he drags me to the grooming salon and jumps into her arms!

Emelia groomed our Old English SheepDog Brody yesterday and did a wonderful job. Brody is our 5th OES, and this is as good a haircut as any of our babies have received.

Our dogs got very muddy and needed to be bathed. They had everything you need at their wash station. The associate that helped only charged us for one dog instead of two. She told us we very efficient and fasr.

Love the groomers!! I have a skittish shih-tzu that does not like new people and they are wonderful with him. It is the only place that is careful enough to never clip the nails too far where it bleeds. I have been coming here for years, and will continue to do so.

I just stopped by to get food. They are usually so well stocked so I found everything I needed. Everyone is so pleasant and questions are patiently answered. Checkout is usually quick ( once in a while you may have to wait a few minutes). They have become one of my go to pet supply stores in the area

Were out of town for work. We live in Virginia. Went to a park where my heeler decided to jump in the lake. So she was in need of a bath. For $14 you get 30 minutes to bathe your own pup. Way better than the tub at the hotel!

Better prices and more services than on line pet supplies. Free delivery (within 7 miles) of course order pick up. Additionally there is the do it yourself dog wash room. Let them worry about the mess & the hair down the drain. Great selection of high quality dog food at online prices.

The customer service was excellent, I was greeted once I came into the store by two employees at the same time. Employees was very friendly and kept a friendly smile. This is the only store where I can get the dog for my dog loves. Even though I Declined The help I was offered help with my dog food. This was my first time at this location and it was the best one I have been to.!!

I just went to buy canned cat food for our finicky kitty. Currently I buy your Mittens brand and Purina Pro Plan for him. There were plenty of both lines in a variety of textures and flavors.

Staff is very nice and helpful and usually greet you when you enter. They are willing to work with you to make coupons work in your favor. The store is brightly lit inside which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. They go above and beyond.

Came in the other day needing major help finding some things for my kittens was greeted by a beautiful young lady named katelyn she was very sweet and pleasant off the bat! She helped a lot and even pointed out some other things could help with my kittens the customer service was OUTSTANDING will sure be coming to this location and definitely recommend others do as well

I made a nail trim appointment for my dog and was uneasy because our normal groomer is out on maternity leave . My dog is fearful and has hip dysplasia so needs extra TLC. Lee did his nail trim today and was so kind and patient with him ! He was incredible! Highly recommend!!!

Very nice atmosphere. You can bring your animals inside. You can shampoo etc your pet yourself at your leisure with all supplies youd need. Everyone is very nice. I have a bad back & someone always offers to bring my purchase to my vehicle. Weve not found coupons for Buffalo Blue Diamond, but today it was $10.00 off.

The place was well stocked . The Wife and I were well informed about their grooming services .

I love the employees at this store. They are helpful, kind, and go over and beyond. They are the reason I go there. If i owned this store, i would reward them, because they deserve some credit for their customer service and make me want to come back.

I always make sure to go to this location because everyone is so friendly and helpful. They always help me find what I need and make great suggestions on which products would be best for my pups. I had a particularly great interaction with Megan last time I was there while checking out.

This review is specifically about the grooming services. We have been to a lot of groomers in the area but the services offered here have been our favorite as of late. Our dogs are never rushed, they come back to us smelling and looking great, and calm.

I love Pet Supplies Plus in East Amherst! Every time I walk into this place Rosemary, the clerk at the register, always greets me with a happy face and pleasant smile. She always ask me if I need help; such a nice friendly woman! Thank you.

Awesome place to wash your dog! They have a dirty dog card you can buy for $25 which is 5 washes. Half their pay as you visit price. For that they supply the water, soap, towels and clean up after you, too! Cant beat it!!

Great Customer Service!! They carry stuff to your vehicle, and super friendly. Also they were out of my usual size Dog Food, so they substituted 2 smaller bags for same price. ❤

Always nice people working here. Came in less than an hour before closing time and was able to wash our dog even though I could tell they were not thrilled. They were very nice and accommodating and understanding

I brought my dog Fazo in for a grooming with Kristina and I am beyond happy with the results! My dog is especially difficult when it comes to grooming since he gets very nervous and she treated him amazing. Usually after haircuts my dog is very quiet and frightened but after todays grooming he was extremely happy and that’s how I know he was treated amazing. I can’t thank her enough for handling him so well. I highly recommend going to Kristina if you need your dog groomed!

Store was clean. But the dog bath area disgusting. It deff wasnt cleaned st all yet today. The price is crazy for water and air I bring my own soaps. But really couldnt give him a proper bath due to standing water on floor also I had to keep unclogging the tub due to tremendous amounts of dog hair. Its was sickening.

Disappointing lately. It often seems like they dont get timely deliveries of stock. How can you improve my experience? Have adequate Fancy Feast canned food. Its not special food; its a common item, unsure why you never have enough. Just increase your order!!! I went back two days in a row, and still no addition to what was on the shelf.

I go there because its close. I dont like that almost every time they have something marked on the shelf it does not reflect at the register. I always wind up asking about it and then I get a song and dance about how it should automatically reflect and maybe I took something from the wrong side....etc. No I know where I grabbed it from. Walk them back then they apologize fix it. Its annoying. And a hassle. I will take the extra 10 minutes and go to pet smart further down the road.

They are so nice in the store. They do have a great selection in-store and online. If you let them know youre looking for something they will hold it or give you a call. This is my go-to place for my animals

Cashier with green hair/glasses was rude. Never smiled when checking out. Bathing area was disgusting. Standing water in floor.

We took our puppy Rudy to have his nails clipped, this is the first time he has had them done and Kera was FANTASTIC!!!She was kind and good to him and spoke to him like they were old friends!!THANK YOU KERA!!

They never have even the basic selection of canned cat food anymore. This has been going on Pre-covid. Other stores carry cat food, not PSP in East amherst. I love the response out of the employees, we keep ordering it but it never comes in.

Buy Zignature as dog has major allergies. Very rarely on sale, and if offer store coupon has only 3 day weekend to redeem, which I normally work weekends. Please expand use of coupons to at least full week. Cant pre-order online for pick up as Zignature flavors that I need are not offered on website.

Our beagle loves this place. Good selection of treats at reasonable prices. Louie is particularly fond of the seasonal cookies in front of the registers. ☺

We like coming here for our pets needs. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and we like the variety of food and treats that we can get for our cats and dogs.

I brought my dog to the store today and he loves going to his store. They are so sweet to our animals. The staff are very helpful and if you need anything they are more than willing to make it happen. Super friendly and with the bonus of having my dog Blue come to the store and pick out things for himself is so great. Definitely recommend this store to anyone with a pet.

I havent owned a cat in over 9 years and I was excited to own one again. Andy the customer service rep there was extremely helpful in helping me re-orient which brands of food were good and which toys were most played with. I couldnt imagine a better pet store than here. Prices are decent and the rest of the staff was very helpful too. I know Ill be coming back here for future purchases.

Hello everyone, This is just my opinion but the pet store needs to get rid of the Leashes they use to on the dog’s when grooming them, Several times I have seen dogs slide off the table and the leash almost choke the dog or possibly break there necks, there was a bulldog just the other day and he almost slipped of the side when they where cutting his nails the girl had a hard time picking him up, he probably was around 50-55 lbs dog , thanks chuck
