Hounds of Love Grooming Salon

We love Hounds of Love. We have been coming here for 3 years since we moved to Rochester. They always take such good care of our pup! He comes out looking clean, trimmed, and smelling great and they are always so kind to him. He is a big pup but they have him done in 90 min or less. There are lots of shops and a coffee shop and smoothie bar near by so I usually just hang out there until he is done.

I can’t say enough good things about this grooming salon! My dog, Brownie, has been to several different groomers in the past, and it’s always been a stressful experience for both of us. He’s naturally a nervous dog, and other places didn’t provide the patience or personal care he needed—they’d often rush, and he’d leave shaking, scooting, and clearly traumatized. Some even said he was too difficult to finish grooming.When I brought Brownie here, everything changed. From the moment I walked in, the reception staff were warm, inviting, and so reassuring. They took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and made sure Brownie felt loved and cared for. I even received an update during his grooming, which put my mind at ease.Both times I’ve brought him here, he’s come home completely calm, happy, and acting like himself—no shaking, no fear, just a content dog who looks and smells amazing! The difference is night and day.The salon itself is clean and well-maintained, and I recommend it to anyone with a nervous dog or to nervous dog owners like me. It’s a far drive for me, but it’s worth every mile to know Brownie is in such good hands. Thank you for treating him with so much love and care! 🐶🐾🩵

The only place we can take Ellie! Theyre so good to her and shes always excited to see the staff! They also give her little flowers and bandanas depending on the season. Love them!!!

This is the best groomer weve worked with! Anton does an amazing job and helps our little pom look his best! All of the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Cant say enough positive about Hounds of Love!

Brooke is very patient with our dog, Riley. Our dog is very fussy and does not like to be groomed but Brooke is extremely caring and consistently does a wonderful job for us. She and her team make Riley the most handsome dog on the block! Thank you for all you do for the love of our lives and loving pet, Riley!

You can smell their beautiful salon as soon as you step foot in the mall. They are beyond friendly and pay close attention to detail when grooming our furbabies. Moved to Webster from Greece and went to four groomers before being recommended to them. Even though it is a drive for me, it is worth it!!! If you have trouble walking this may be troubling, because it is in the mall, but there is an entrance fairly close. Anton has been our groomer for 5 years now!!

Wow!Todd made my Collie, Kipper, so handsome. Todd was so calming that Kipper eagerly jumped into the bathtub.lol! Kipper loves getting pampered here!

Samally did an amazing job with Penny! I showed her a picture for inspiration and Penny turned out exactly how I had hoped. Hounds of Love exceeded my expectations!

Brooke did a great job with my 7 month old puppy, Daisy! We will definitely be going back again.

So so happy I found hounds of love! This was my dog Wesley’s first time there and he was so happy. The groomer did a fabulous job!

This place is amazing! They did an absolutely wonderful job on my Shiba Inu puppy, Cherry! 😊❤ Place smelled lovely, very kind staff, & made sure the dogs were calm & comfortable. Brooke was an absolute sweetheart as well! Will be coming back whenever my pup needs grooming :)

Im so EXTREMELY disappointed in this business!!! Ive been a very long time customer and a very good one at that. I tipped well, I was always on time and understanding with them when they were ALWAYS running late with my dog. I even said NO to them canceling with me not once but TWICE and she even said Ill take some money off for all the troubles. I told her that wouldnt be necessary....and they still charged me FULL price. HOWEVER, when I canceled with them they charged me DOUBLE for my dog which was $150.00!!!!! INSANE!!! then just today I said please I need my dog back at 5, she staright up told me NO! Then she said even though your dogs appointment is at 3:30 I wont start on her till 3:45. I said why!?!? She said because we r behind. I said you guys ALWAYS over book!! Thats NOT my problem! She then said if you change the date thats technically canceling and I wont get paid if I dont charge you double! I said this is absolutely ridiculous especially how Ive been such a great long time customer!! She then says this to me....get ready for this.....she says the more youre talking to me the more late I am with getting ur dog started I was like....r u kidding me right now!?!? How RUDE!! but this is such BAD business. So thats it IM DONE!!! DONT GO TO THESE PEOPLE GO ELSE WHERE!!!! I KNOW I AM!! Very sad!!

Anton and Brooke and the other staff are the best. Anton takes his time on my dogs to make sure they look their best and sometimes I bring them in a little rough and he smiles and does his job wonderful. They are all so welcoming and kind to my dogs. I recommend hounds of love to anyone who wants leave their dog with someone they can trust and do a wonderful job!

Took my 11yo mini schnauzer in for her first real grooming (she was my mothers dog, and her groomer generally just shaved her close all around). They did an amazing job and were so patient with her nerves. I wasnt sure what to ask for, as my other dogs dont require more than a bath and brush down. But she came out smelling and looking beautiful. Just perfect. Thank you!!

Been going to hounds of love for years. Tryed to make a appointment for there nextgrooming cant get me in till july20.2024 Not happy with that and she keeps raising the price . 70.00 a dog.trying to find another groomer. Very nasty owner.

I cannot recommend Hounds of Love enough. Brooke and the staff there are so amazing with my little girl (who is anxious and not always the easiest to work with!) They are comforting to her, efficient, and generally just amazing at what they do. I am so lucky I found them, and I refuse to take Ginger anywhere else. Ginger has even started to like them now?! After cutting her nails?! It’s insanity, honestly. If you adore your dog, Hounds of Love is where to take them.

We have been bringing our standard schnauzer to Hounds of Love since she was a puppy, and we’re very pleased with the staff, their care for our dog, and for their communication. They are easy to reach for scheduling requests, give good advice for caring for our dog, and genuinely seem to like what they do. Our pup comes home from a grooming appointment cheerful and proud.

Fast and affordable. Staff is amazing and my pups comes back happy and clean.

Hounds of Love does a great job. Make an appointment with Anton. He sincerely cares about your pets and performs loving quality grooming as if each individual animal was his very own. Exceptional results every time, yet reasonably priced. Give Anton a call.... youll be so glad you did.

First visit today with my 7 month old Yorkie. Brook did a Great job! So happy to have found a good groomer. We will be returning.

For anyone who is looking for an excellent groomer I highly recommend Hounds of Love grooms. Not only do they do an excellent job they treat your pet as if they were their own. The owner is very kind and caring and very accommodating. Highly Recommend!!!!

Have gone monthly for over a year. They are great with my dog. Very reasonable price & includes nail clipping, ear cleaning & will brush teeth for small charge. Five stars for sure.

These guys are wonderful with my dog. I dont even give my name when I go in they all recognize my pup and know exactly whats going on. My dog is happy to see them and they do a good job getting knots out of a Bernese mountain dog

They seem to do a very good job but there is quite a wait for scheduling services. You need to book at least a month in advance.

I have taken my dog there multiple times and each time she comes back beautiful and happy.She seems to be shedding much less!If my dog could talk I am sure she would have great things to say as well!

First come first serve means whoever she talks to first. Dont bother leaving a message, if you dont actually speak with them youre out of luck...
