Gimme Paw Dog Walking LIC

I can’t say enough good things about Don and his Gimme Paw team. When we first moved to LIC, we used a different dog walking company and had a terrible experience. It ended with them abruptly discontinuing their services, leaving us high and dry. We were able to get started with Gimme Paw rather quickly and have never looked back. It’s so easy to schedule walks and communicate any needs/concerns, and there is a great deal of flexibility and understanding with regard to adding/cancelling walks last minute in special situations. Also, Don sends occasional emails that contain important updates which are very helpful. The walkers have been professional, reliable, caring, and trustworthy. I’d also like to give a shout-out to Jonny, one of the managers, for being exceptional. Working with this team (for years now) has truly given my husband & I peace of mind to know that our mini dachshund is in great hands. Highly highly recommend, would give 6 stars if I could ⭐️

Gimme Paw is by far the best dog walking company that I’ve ever used! My dachshund Gus has been a happy customer for the past 4 years, and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Don and all of Gus’s dog walkers. Everyone has been extremely professional, reliable, and consistent, which was integral with helping my dog establish a routine and eliminate separation anxiety.Don and his staff have always been great with communication, and I really appreciate that they will anticipate holiday scheduling needs, sending emails/texts to make sure our needs are met.I highly recommend Gimme Paw! Don, Jillian, and the whole Gimme Paw crew are nothing short of incredible. Shortly after I got a new puppy, I started a new job that required me to be in the office. I was nervous and scrambling to find a walker who could provide daily walks in the afternoon on a relatively condensed window for my pups little bladder. Enter Don - I knew from our initial call that he loves and cares about his business. He made me feel totally at ease and was very upfront and clear about everything. My pup walked with Jillian the majority of the time, who was so amazing. He clearly adored her (see photo of him smiling at her) and she put up with all my crazy puppy-mom requests as I attempted to potty train him (letting him out in his potty area on the balcony first, changing out wee pads, giving him specific treats, using certain words/commands, etc...). She was always on time and communicative and extremely patient with his wild, puppy energy ways. The few times we had other walkers (usually for weekend or other off-hour requests), they were all great as well. The pricing is extremely fair and the system they use for scheduling and payment makes everything so easy. If I wasnt moving out of state, I would never leave them. I recommend Gimme Paw whole-heartedly, without reservation. Thank you Don, Jillian, and team!! Roy Kent will miss you and we both really wish we could take you with us!

Great and reliable dog walking service in LIC. Very flexible with my work schedule, and can accommodate walks midday and even evening. Its extremely helpful to be able to set the schedule flexibly up to the day before and to schedule directly in the app. I trust Don and the team to take good care of my dog. Appreciate being able to lean on them for all my dog walking needs and highly recommend!

We loved using Gimme Paw during the 2 years we lived in Long Island City. We used their services when our little Jack Russell was just a puppy and they helped us through the toughest time, as we had to be away for many our in the day. We were very happy to have found them. They were professional, reliable, compassionate, and the ability to see where your four-legged child was being walked to was a great feature to have on their app. It also helped that many of our dog-owner neighbors used them as well. Ive been a client of Gimme Paw for the past 6.5 years, since our dog Harley was just 12 weeks old! Don and his team have been an incredible resource over the years and cant imagine being a dog owner in the City without them. They are always responsive, available and accommodating - from scheduled daily walks to last minute panicky requests. They have an app that makes it super easy to request services, track walks and make payments. With Gimme Paw you can rest assured that your pet is in the best hands. As a plus, they have come to my rescue after being locked out of my apartment more than once!

Don and his team were very professional and dedicated to our dog Maggie during the 2+ years we used Gimme Paw. They started walking her as a puppie and then she graduated to the group walks which earned her many dog friends. They were always punctual and we appreciated the email alerts we would receive every time they arrived and dropped Maggie back off. Being able to schedule or cancel walks online as well as paying the bills online is def a plus! I would recommend to any dog lover since your dog will be in good hands!

Don, Oscar and the entire team at Gimme Paw are amazing! They were able to easily accommodate my changing schedule and take care of our dog Frankie on short notice multiple times. The app is super helpful to schedule and pay and they even helped me coordinate a key drop off when I was locked out of the house! Frankie met new best dog friends and loved all of the walkers.5 stars. Would highly recommend.

Gimme Paw walked our dog Marv for four years until we moved Upstate. By far the best dog walking service we ever experienced. Don and his crew were always so professional and reliable. I always felt like Marv was in good hands with them, and in fact he loved walking with them! Our neighbors told us theyd run into Marv on his walks and he seemed to be walking so proudly with his pack. If we still lived in LIC our dog would be walking with them again for sure. Very grateful for the care they gave Marv!

Thank goodness I found Gimme Paw six years ago when I was on the search for a reputable dog walking company after I discovered my current dog walker at the time wasnt actually walking my dog!! He was just taking the money I left out for him and Val wasnt actually getting walked! Gimme Paw gives me peace of mind while Im at work that Val is getting his walk in because I can actually see the times the walker logs in and out on the app. Val looks forward to his walks with Krystle! Gimme Paw is also awesome with same day and weekend walk requests when Im in a bind. Highly recommend this company.

The app they use to manage and request walks is easy to use, and their team of dog walkers has always been super friendly and responsive to last min changes in my schedule. We have been using Don and his team for almost 2 years now. So far they have been practically perfect. Their email notifications which include not only the time of the checkin and walk duration but also if they went 1 or 2 or both. I know that My pup is always in good hands with Don and his team. There have been times where my wife and I are walking her around LIC and we run into one of her dog walkers and my dog goes crazy out of excitement!There was one small incident that was not a huge deal and Don handled it like a professional and made it right. These guys are top of the line and would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

We had a great experience with Gimme Paw! We first contacted Don when we had just gotten our puppy, Jackson, as we knew we needed help with him during the day. Don came over and spent about an hour getting to know us, Jackson, and helping us feel comfortable with him and his services. At first, before Jackson had all his shots, Don would come over once a day for a puppy visit, take him outside to use the bathroom, and play with him for a bit. He also really helped us with house breaking! When Jackson was a bit older he started doing daily group walks with several other pups around his size. They were always there at the same time every day, and always let us know exactly how Jackson did on his walk. In addition, they utilized social media so we were able to see pictures of Jackson on his walks every day which was great!! Don and his team were always available in a pinch, and also were fine with last minute cancellations in case we were home sick or going out of town. Unfortunately, we recently moved out of the area, but we miss Don and his team and couldnt recommend Gimme Paw enough to anyone in need of dog walking services!

My dogs are seniors and the walkers made sure they were comfortable on their walks, which allowed us to feel so relaxed knowing they were in good hands. Best walking service in LIC.

Ive used Don and his team for 4 years, while I lived at the water and more recently closer to queensboro plaza.There are plenty walkers out there, but with Don and his crew, I knew my dog was not only getting excercise- he was getting treated like they would their own.My work schedule is all over the place and Don always went out of his way to accommodate me and my pup.One text message and within 15 mins someone was there, for no added service charge.Theres something to be said about local businesses and Don has a great team with him.I would not think twice about it if youre looking and set up a meet/greet asap.We miss him in Brooklyn!
