I needed a groomer who knows how to groom schnauzers, and being a new owner to the breed (and long-haired breeds in general), my search was a bit daunting—but I struck gold on the first swing. If you have a schnauzer, Ken is definitely the guy to go to. This gentleman has very extensive experience with the breed, and he knows with absolute certainty how to work their coat type.My first visit to a groomer of *any* kind was great all thanks to Ken and his daughter. Ill be the client who admits that their fur baby wasnt the best behaved (I learned that my boy, sadly, wasnt desensitized to grooming tools at the appropriate age prior to coming into my ownership), but Kens compassion and sharing of advice and product recommendations is extremely appreciated. He even welcomed me to call his business at any time if I ever have questions or concerns about my boys coat maintenance. Its my hope that with enough exposure through future visits and desensitization training at home, my boy will adjust and grooming will become a positive experience.Thank you, Ken! Youve gained a repeat client today!Update (3/13/24): I brought my boy back for his second cut, and his behavior was PHENOMENAL this time. I was so shocked to hear this that I cried. I didnt think hed turn around so quickly, but Ken and Joelle praised his good behavior and blooming personality so much. Im so proud of my boy.Ken, Joelle, thank you SO much. Im beyond satisfied with the care and quality of his cut, and Im happy that my boy got to run around and play while I was away at work.

I personally have not used Kens but my parents have brought their dogs here for years, so I am posting on their behalf. The dogs always come back looking nice, even the hairballs, and the owners take the effort to get to know their clients and remember them. The prices are also better than other local groomers. A very good value.

I am very satisfied with the services provided at Kens Grooming. Always very welcoming and accommodating! Our pups are treated with love every visit. Joelle and ken are the best in the 845 area.

Ken was super helpful when it came to my little baby Charlie. Petsmart canceled on me one hour before my appointment and I really needed Charlie groomed. Ken was able to fit me in and did such an amazing job on Charlie and he put a cute kerchief around his neck which I thought was extra special. Thank you for being so kind and doing an amazing job that I already scheduled my next appointment!!

Kens grooming is great, I took my poodle puppy here for her first haircut and it took some time but she came out gorgeous. I’m definitely coming back when it’s time for her next cut :)
