Absolutely the BEST decision I’ve ever made was to go to Adele and become part of the Darkstar Family. Shelby is amazing. We had lost our previous Shepherd and when it was time I started researching. I was looking for temperament. Shelby is amazing. I get compliments constantly on her looks, her personality, her intelligence. These are fantastic family dogs. Adele brought my heart back to life with Shelby. We live 3 hours away and my vet knew immediately when I said where I got her from. He said you couldn’t of made a better choice!

Adele is a wonderful woman and her pack family are the most loving dogs Ive ever met. We were very fortunate to be able to have one of Adele puppie. I have admired Darkstar German Shepherds for a couple years before I got my own. I have Freya from Echo and Trader’s first litter. When I tell you this is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve owned I am telling the truth. She is the best dog I could have asked for. She is amazing with my kids. She is my shadow. Never leaves my side when I am home. When we go for walks or I take her to the park or pet store she gets complemented on how beautiful and well behaved she is.Adele is a very knowledgeable breeder. She truly cares about every one of her puppies. Her Darkstar facebook page really feels like we are one big family. We post pics of our dogs and I love seeing pics of Freya’s brothers and sisters.Anytime I’ve had a question about Freya, Adele was available and able to answer my questions. I recently received my puppy, Arya, from Adele and I could not be any happier! Ever since I could remember, I have wanted a German Shepherd, and Adele was able to make my dream come true. Arya is everything I ever wanted in a companion. Adele sent me updated pictures as the puppies grew and always answered questions promptly. Thank you!! Maybe Ill be back in a couple of years :)

Adele is the best breeder. She was pleasant from start to finish through the process of getting our shepherd 7 years ago. She really takes pride in placing pups with the tight family. We originally wanted a certain pup but she said it wouldn’t be a good fit personality wise and she couldn’t have been more right. Couldn’t imagine not having our shepherd we ended up with. She not only knows everything to know about the breed, she takes pride in the breed. When you get a shepherd from her you are not only a buyer you become Darkstar family. We will be getting another from her in a few years. We get nonstop complements about our shepherd. He is not only gorgeous but well behaved with the best temperament. We lost our Shepard a few years ago and had been looking . We saw a few litters but continued looking. Then we met Adele and saw how much she loved her dogs. We spent some time with her adult dogs and puppies and one was nicer then the other. Their temperament and demeanor was calm and relaxed . This is what I wanted right then and there we adopted our Henry. He is super smart beautiful long haired shepard who comes every place with us. I would highly recommend Adele and Darkstar to anyone looking for an incredible German Shepard.

Very disappointed with this experience. I bought a puppy from Darkstar 2 weeks ago. He is 4 months old.I was never told and she did not disclose he has round worms, had to take him to the emergency vet because he was so sick, skinny and not eating. Not to mention, I have 2 large shepherds at home and he was jeopardizing my other dogs health! Every-time I called this woman to ask questions she screams on the phone and does not give direct answers and is very nasty. She is not even a registered vet but apparently gives her own shots to these dogs.. She would not even provide print out or proof of his shots with a licensed vet registry or number. Be careful and do some research before spending a fortune on a puppy from this crazy lady. The puppies stay in a dirty house and basement, not to mention is was totally flooded out and probably why he got sick. When the dogs are outside they are in a kennel with not even a water bowl.However, we love our puppy and we are so glad we got him away from this nut job and abusive environment!

We are lucky enough to have TWO gorgeous, intelligent, and perfect long haired German shepherds from Darkstar! Adele, the breeder, has perfected her line of dogs to make sure each one is perfect. She is so passionate about what she does, and takes care to make sure the puppies are healthy, happy, and as friendly as can be. I was lucky enough to not only meet the parents of both my dogs, but also all of her other adult dogs. Each one of her dogs proves why her business is so successful. The best part about owning a Darkstar Shepherd is that the breeder wants to stay in touch and make sure she not only knows that the puppy is developing properly and being cared for the way he/she should be, but she is also there for you when any questions or concerns come up. I am so grateful for her for giving my family two angels that completed our lives, and intend to own many more Darkstar’s through the years!

I have 2 Darkstar Dogs, both healthy well adjusted wonderful companions. Adele has been supportive and caring keeping up with her dogs after they go home with their new families. I also know from experience that as a good breeder she will take back and re-home a dog that one of her clients no longer wants, finding the right fit for the dog in a new home. My second Darkstar dog is a littermate to my original dog that lost one of his legs in an accident while living with his original owner. When the original owner returned the dog to Adele she reached out to find the right fit in a new home for him and I offered to foster him but once I had him at home my family fell in love with his sweet personality and he became a permanent part of the family. I am a long time German Shepherd owner and have had many years of experience with the breed. Both of my Darkstar Dogs have gotten A+ reviews from my Veterinarians, they are healthy and easy to handle, smart, affectionate, confident, gorgeous and devoted. In short these dogs are everything you love this breed for. Thank you Adele for breeding such fabulous dogs, they bring joy to my life everyday.

We are so pleased with our puppy from Darkstar German Shepherds. Adele Miller was so helpful, and our paperwork was completed together, the pups were so well adjusted and cared for, and we got to meet not only the parents, but the other very friendly and beautiful adult shepherds she cares for. We were told the history of her dogs and invited to join the FB Owners and Friends page, which is very informative and helps us all to know so much about the litter pups, and their owners too. Our May is a beautiful, healthy and active pup, and gets great compliments each time our vet sees her. I would highly recommend anyone to purchase a pup from Darkstar German Shepherds. My Darkstar German Shepherd Dog, Odin, is the most amazing dog! Odin is gorgeous, healthy, and the kindest dog anyone could hope for. Hes got a rock-stable temperament as well. Adele is a fantastic breeder who loves and cares for each and every puppy for their entire life. Anyone who meets Odin or any of the Darkstar dogs, can recognize the pure quality of these dogs and breeder.

Had dogs my whole life and got my first german shepherd from Adele Darkstar German Shepherds. My fur baby is beautiful, healthy, intelligent, one of the most loving, Loyal dogs I have owned. She is wonderful with our other dogs and most importantly with our toddle grandson.

We got Freddie from Adele two years ago when he was 8 weeks old. He has been the missing piece of our family. If we didn’t have another German Shepherd already we would own another one from darkstar. Adele is a great person that deeply cares for her dogs and puppies.

There was a reviewer on here, A Kearse that provided a false one star review, saying this breeder took 3200 from them.I have known this breeder for more than 30 years, she has never tried to cheat anyone. She only accepts a percentage of the price of a pup as the deposit. This is not the way she would or does operate. We have had four dogs from her through the years since the 1980s. Call this breeder, talk to her yourself, you will see the effort and care she puts into each of her dogs. Look at the other reviews of people who actually own her dogs. You will see a family atmosphere, we as part of the Darkstar family keep in contact with each other in a group on Facebook. You are never abandoned after your pup goes home. She is always available with advice, and with anything that will make the transition for your pup smooth and happy. It is easy to post something terrible on here, however, before you believe anything, research it yourself, visit her web page, her Facebook group, etc. Talk to her, you would run to buy your next pup... Trust me when I say, you will never be disappointed with a Darkstar dog.

We bought a beautiful little baby from Darkstar. Upon our first vet visit we were told to give her back. We took her to Dr. Morgenstern, a vet cardiologist at VMCLI who explained that she has two genetic heart abnormalities on the left side. We were told she will not have a full life and they were not even sure if she would make it to her first birthday. We were told the dogs should never have been bred and to send the test results to the breeder. We were offered half of our money back and another puppy. Of course we could not take in another dog when our baby was so sick. We were asked to sign an agreement to not discuss this on social media. We did not sign that. I am so happy that other people got healthy, happy dogs. Unfortunately our little baby is suffering, and so are we. She takes Atenolol daily and we do everything we can for her. Her care is very expensive, but she is our baby and we love her.

I called to find out details about puppies or an upcoming litter and the woman who I spoke to was just plain nasty! Told me to get in the real world When I asked her about the health guarantee and if her dogs are OFA certified or hip certified. She also said go somewhere else if I want a “ piece of paper“ with guarantees. As I asked a few more questions she just hung up on me I could not believe the unprofessionalism and I would never buy a dog from this woman!!

Never have i met such easy sweet german shepherds the puppies r outstanding n the temperments on her adult dogs r xcellent if u r looking for a family shepherd this is the place to get a pup they r easy n will train u well super smart healthy n gorgeous i do german shepherd rescue people come to me for pups n want family dogs. Darkstar German Shepherds are what German Shepherds should be; Intelligent, brave, loyal, healthy, energetic, playful, cuddly and ofcourse beautiful. My 8 week puppy came crate trained and sleeps through the night without any fuss. She has a good temperament and learned most of her basic commands in two weeks. She gets a lot of compliments on our daily walks. You can see her here from 9 weeks to 1 year old.

We showed up between those hours.2. We tried calling you. In fact we called several times and didnt get a response and your contact us page clearly states that its down. Our next thought was to show up and ask a few questions which we tried to do3. We didnt criticize you about your dogs. We criticized how unprofessional you were4. We never took pictures of you or your dog. I dont know where you got this from5. You didnt say if we waited you would help you said I have customers right now I cant help you and you continued to rant about covid and people showing up during your business hours.6. Again you have hours of operation. I dont understand why youre surprised people are showing up at those times7. We actually waited in front of your neighbors house because we realized you were talking to a group of people and didnt want to interrupt. You actually approached us.

I havent brought a puppy yet but I would be soon, just wanted to say you must be doing something right because I see you have some haters, people are so negative and sad its a shame, from what Ive read you are doing a awesome job from home so keep up the awesome work and keep blessing families with your wonderful puppies God bless you ❤

Sadly I live in Canada, cause I would have loved one of your long coats. Everyone I have ever seen a picture of is absolutely gorgeous.I think anyone would be very lucky to have a Darkstar puppy to love.

Found on Google, seemed like a professional stablishment. Decided to check the place out . Found a house in a neighborhood. Owner was outside with crowd of people . Approached them to get information, but before I finished my sentence got told shes not interested that shes with customers and people should not show up to her house mid covid. Extremely rude told us to leave her sidewalk. 🤷‍♀️ Perhaps change your Google information and your attitude.

Adele miller is an excellent breeder and a person you can trust , i seen her puppies and they are all healthy and happy and the parents are very friendly, Anytime i needed to ask Adele a question she always answed me , she puts alot into her pups and treats them like family the way it should be, for me i think she is an awesome and amazing person !!!!!

Would not recommend this breeder! Boarder line puppy mill, keeps puppies in the basement with limited socialization. Does not have puppies vetted before they leave.

We purchased a Darkstar Shepherd 19 months ago and we are so thankful we did...I would/will go back when we are ready for another.
