AMAZING! took our dog here for the first time today.. making an appointment was so easy online and texting the groomer was so convent and easy! My dog ran in the back didn’t care if I was there lol he loved her from the start ! They did a remarkable job he looks so good and cleaned and smells so good! He was waiting at their door which you have to be buzzed in they do not leave him in the back the whole time which is so sweet! Love how they colored his tail !

Brought my puppy for her first haircut today! They did a great job and even put cute bows in her hair!! Loved the service

Very polite and professional. We took our 2 black labs in today 3/30/24. It was a last minute appointment which they accommodated without hesitation. It was the first time for the 7 month old and she had a cute pink flower collar on when we picked them up. They looked great and well groomed.

We have been using VIP Grooming for over 3 years now and it’s always been a positive experience. Fur babies always come out smelling so lovely and happy. Staff is professional and they make us feel like our fur babies are always in good hands.

Our golden retriever went to the groomers for the first time here! She looked and smelled great after! She was such a happy dog when I went to pick her up. The staff is absolutely amazing and so friendly!

Best groomer I’ve been to! The space was so welcoming and comfortable for pets. They were able to squeeze me in last minute and truly pampered my golden retriever with a bath/massage with spa music, deep conditioning treatment, and HAND dry blowout (they don’t use cages at all). While your puppy waits for you to be picked up when they’re finished they have a cute little hangout room for them with toys and pet couches. Owner sent me videos during and after of him enjoying his time. 10/10

We brought our puppy Kat to VIP Pet for her first grooming experience. She was in desperate need of a haircut and dematting. VIP Pet did an amazing job removing the mats and they gave her a great haircut! We were very impressed with the experience and Kat loved it too. We will be going back in the future!

Cristina did an amazing job on my Woody. She’s from the dog meat trade, has not gotten a bath her whole life (8 years) and she made my girl look and smell like a young puppy. Thank you so much I 100% recommend this place and Cristina.

VIP Pet is such a lovely place to take your best furend! Sammy (puppy) and Brody (kitty) both had the full spa treatment! They smelled so lovely after their baths, their nails looked like they had manicures, and they came back happy! The studio is kept clean and tidy, the staff is super friendly, they are great at communicating, and they all wear cute masks and take hygiene seriously. We drove all the way from Brooklyn and will be returning the next time they need a bath! Worth the trip.

WOW! What a fantastic groomer! We bought our 1.5 year old poodle mix for a groom, and she came back perfect. We have groomed her several ,times in the past, and have never had such amazing results. She listened to ideas on what we wanted her to look like and a couple of hours later we had to softest, cleanest most perfectly cut and happy dog! Would definitely recommend. Such a professional.

I wanted my cat to shed less and be comfortable in the summer heat. Very patient and informative groomer with an easy sign up process. I liked that she reached out to me after I left a voicemail via text. They delivered great results and Julia is very sweet. Easy to get to and clean and nice inside. Very affordable for all that I asked for! A great bargain.

I have never heard of a groomer refusing to groom a pet for having epilepsy. My Dog is 10 years old, and has had Epilepsy since she was one month old. She has been under a vets care and on medication since then. Today, they refused to take her in saying it was not safe for the animal for them to groom her. This is nonsense. The vet has not put any restrictions on the dog and has been to groomers 3-4 times per year, every year. They sounded so ignorant when talking to them about it. They made me feel like I was doing something wrong for trying take care of my dog. Codie is always afraid of vets and groomers. They made a big deal that she was shaking. God forbid they pet her to calm her down. Just Terrible! I spoke to the manager, who just repeated what the groomer said. I have never felt so bad for my dog.

I took my yorki poo teddy to get a nice grooming, his hair was very tangled and knotted. They took amazing care of him and he looks very fresh🥰. I would recommend this place to anyone. Great service and very friendly staff 10/10

Worth the splurge! VIP literally treats your pet like family. Our little guy is always groomed exceptionally well. Very friendly and professional. The ladies are lovely!

Let’s start this off with I am not one to leave reviews let alone bad ones EVER but I am just so in shock with how terrible their customer service is as well as the services they offer in general. Took my little puppy there about a month and a half ago and have been trying to speak to a manager since about how bad they cut my dog after a grooming. I spoke to the same lady on the phone twice about how I want to speak with a manger. The first time I spoke with her she told me I need to email in my complaint because that’s how they communicate. I called her back again two weeks later (today) after not hearing back from them, and I was told that I have to wait for a lawyer to be in touch with me. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that the owner or manager can’t even contact me themselves to apologize for what happened or even give me some reassurance that the situation is being handled. Instead they jump straight to a lawyer? They must be spending a lot of money in lawyer fees. So unprofessional and beyond upset that I can’t even get a call back from these people. ZERO stars. I also find it unprofessional how every bad review this place gets it’s replied with a rebuttal. Never in my life have I experienced anything like this. Again, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. There are so many grooming facilities on Long Island, avoid this one.

Beyond beyond amazing. My girl looked,Smelt, and smiled like a brand new women!!! Precious dog groomers had my dog hiding under the bed after her trip and would get me so worried. Not Julia. And on top of that. I was pleasantly surprised with a picture for Lina’s first time at VIP grooming!I just came back from my second grooming trip and yet again. Highly satisfied and this was after Juliana squeezed me after a last minute request 🙈 thank you girls for treating my girl with such car and the most amazing picture that now hangs above my water dispenser!

Best grooming experience by far! Having been to multiple grooming places there is definitely no comparison. The staff is excellent and caring. They do an amazing job with my crazily shedding corgi and she always comes out looking fantastic and happy

VIP Pet is such a amazing place to take your best friend. My pet had the full spa treatment. He smelled so lovely after grooming. Him hair cut was perfect. He came back very happy. The place is kept clean and tidy, the staff is very friendly, they are great communicating and take hygiene seriously. We will always come back, we are super happy to be a VIP customers.

With the warmer days approaching, I really needed my dog to be groomed. Juliana did a great job with my Corgi mix. She’s very sweet to her and gave her a wonderful cut.

I would give zero stars if I could! I had been going to this groomer for about 1 year & have no complaints regarding how they groomed my dog but after the experience I had yesterday with their groomer yesterday will never return! Received a text from the groomer after I had dropped my dog off for a full groom requesting an updated recorded of her vaccinations which I immediately called my vet & forwarded to them within 15min of her request showing my dog was 100% up to date on all shots. The groomer text back stating 2 were expired which when I went back to pick up my dog I showed she just had both in May. The groomer continued to argue that they were expired; after the 5th time explaining that they were clearly listed on my vets record, I let her know I was done discussing & wanted to pay so I could leave. She continued to argue telling me that she was trying to keep my dog safe & I should be thanking her for taking care of my dog and keeping her safe. I let them know I wanted to pay & would find a new groomer. The cost of a groom sat VIP Pet is double the price I have ever paid with any of my previous groomers. I have always been happy with the previous grooming for my dog but paying that high a price, I do not expect to be abused & lectured (incorrectly) by the staff. I asked if the other young lady that was suppose to check me out but just sat there as the groomer continued to argue with me if the groomer was the owner & was told no, I requested the owner call me but have not received a call from the owner so i assume since I have not received a call, that the owner is ok with customers being abused by his/her staff. They have lost me as a customer & would NOT recommend them to anyone else if this is their idea of good customer service. If I was treated this poorly by their groomer, I have concerns since there is clearly not regard to respect & value valuing their paying customers.

Teddy had another 5 star visit to VIP!He came home all spiffy and smelled grrrrreat!He is happy to go to VIP because he knows that they love him there.Well be back soon!Teddy isnt not going anywhere but VIP!

Decided to bring my almost 2 year oldsheepadoodle to VIP because I saw another sheepadoodle in town and I loved how he was groomed ! VIP did a great job with our dog! He looks amazing and the experience is the best he has had . Great staff, great space for the dogs to make them feelComfortable ! Highly recommend!

VIP pet grooming has proven to be the best groomer in our neighborhood and now we only take our Goldendoodle Daisy to them. Each time we brought Daisy, they did a great job of shampooing her, removing the tangles from her fur and giving her a wonderful cutting. They are consistently excellent. Just as importantly, the staff is courteous and professional. On one occasion, we were late picking her up (traffic), but they were very understanding and watched our dog until we got there. All round excellent groomers, wonderful people and reasonable rates. The only place we take our dog!

Do you know you have been charged 4% credit card fee from VIP Grooming? I had moved to Wantagh since last July, and we have another Poodle since July this year, I just found out the VIP Grooming charges 4% credit card fee. They always gave me a credit card receipt for the total because they said it’s a full service, today I asked about what’s a itemized bill of the service, the total bill shows $358.46 for the services of 2 Poodles, but the credit card charges is $372.80, and they explained the extra $14.34 is the 4% fee based on customer is paying credit cards!I was shocked and told them first of all, I was never have been informed about 4% credit card fee, secondly, they should have a sign of notification to their customers about the credit card fee of 4%. They argued that every business charges credit card fee including the restaurants and so on, I told them that is not true and how could they do this without letting customers know? It’s dishonest way to handle business and it’s taking advantage of customers’s trust!I cancelled my next appointment and would not go back to VIP Grooming anymore! You should look carefully of your bill for whoever does not know that you have been charged 4% fee when paying credit card.

I took a lot of time choosing a groomer for my 17 week yorkie for the first time. I choose this place and didn’t regret it. This place is clean and from the moment I walked in my girl was treated with all love. When it was time to get her she looked so excited and happy with her new haircut. I found my forever groomer for my zara girl ! Plus that don’t stick their dogs in cages to wait for you. My girl was able to be free like she’s used to at home.

I took my Teddy to VIP. He was received so warmly by the staff. He came back to me all spiffy, shiny, and smelling great. I was worried that my puppy might be scared at his first visit to the groomer - but he loved the groomer as if she was his dog mommy!! The shop is not like other groomers- it is warm and comfortable and spotless too!Teddy and I cant wait to go back to VIP!

The best groomers in Long Island! Their work was excepcional from the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out! I was greeted by the receptionist and she put my dog in the play area so I could fill out the paperwork. The groomer did an excellent job and my baby looks exactly like I wanted her to look. I called this business and spoke to a sweet woman named Cristina over the phone. She managed to make an appointment for me for the day after to have my Persian himalayan cat get a lion haircut. Normally it is very difficult to find good cat groomers in long island without having to wait 2-3 weeks for the next appointment. When I walked in to drop off my cat, I was greeted by Cristina and Ariana. They were very pleasant and professional. I met a young lady named Yasmin who was going to give my pet the lion haircut. She too was also sweet and professional. I explained what I was looking to have done and then I left. 2-3 hours later I was given a call and I returned to the business to find my cat very calm with her wonderful new haircut. This means all 3 ladies treated my pet with kindness and caring. Plus the haircut was great! I highly recommend this business to anyone who is looking to have great pet service by 3 wonderful ladies who treat ones pet with kindness and care. I treat my pet as if she were part of my family because she is and all 3 ladies understood, respected, and honored this concept. I will be going to VIP Pet Grooming from now on.

Friendly staff but inconsistent results. my dog was seen last week and this was the most disappointing visit yet. her nails looked like they werent finished and she got brush burn so her skin is very irritated. she actually came home looking worse from this skin reaction - FYI my dog is very short-haired and has noticeably sensitive skin so Im not sure how she was mishandled like this. i am happy to say she wont be returning here.

Brought my dog there for the first time and they explained to me what condition her hair was in and the best way to keep her hair healthy and clean. This is the first place that actually cared what her hair looked and felt like and the first time she wasn’t shaved completely down they gave her the perfect style and the additional services in the package to keep her well maintained are exceptional. Loved my experience with my dog here and will be bringing her back!

I brought my French bulldog, Perry, here for a quick trim. He was looking a little scruffy, and the process was really swift. I was in and out within an hour and a half. The place is really clean, and the prices are pretty good too. My dog is on the smaller side so i didn’t pay that much. Christina is very sweet, funny as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend lmao

VIP grooming has been our choice when our handsome Bernadoodle needs a bath & haircut. They do such a great job in keeping with his breed, but complimenting his own features. We really like that Vip does not overbook, so it’s not stressful on him and he gets a lot of personal attention.Nate’s mom 💙🐾🐾

Just left from this spot, got my doggo chichi groomed. She looks brand new, very happy with the outcome. Price was fair for the amount of work it probably took to gets the matts out. AWFUL. Would not recommend. I was told the cost for grooming was $55. I scheduled the appointment and once I arrived, the price was almost doubled to $90.I would not trust this groomer or any quoted price. She was rude and refused to honor the price over the phone or lower it all. Insisted my 35lb dog was considered large. I cant imagine what the cost is for a 90lb dog.Save your time and go to a reputable groomer.

The shop is absolutely beautiful, clean and the groomer is amazing. I have a German shepherd and he does not like being bathe. He was so good for them and they did an excellent job. My dog cant wait for his next visit to the store. He even wanted to go in when I took him for a walk by the store. Im thankful.

I have been bringing both of my dogs here for the past few months. The staff is caring, knowledgeable, and does an amazing job on both my dogs. For reference I have a boxer/shepherd mix and a puggle.

This is the 3rd place I bring my puppy to be groomed. I’m not picky at all, I just want a job done right. VIP pet salon did just that. They didn’t keep my dog for 3 to 4 house like the other groomers did. My puppy looked and smelled fabulous. The lady at the front desk is very pleasant and friendly! 🐶🥰

Traveled from Queens and I can honestly say that I had a very pleasant visit. My little Ema was so shy at first, but by the time I got back she was jumping off of the walls. I didn’t get the associates name, but she was very kind and even greeted my Ema with open arms. Even though it 22 miles from me I wouldn’t mind returning, because it’s WORTH it.

I loved the place! Super polite staff, Very clean space and I loved the haircut my puppy got. Highly recommend! Definitely coming back!

I have never had an experience like this one, my mini austrailian Shepard’s are very skiddish and scared of everything but they felt completely comfortable with the girls there and the girls there were so sweet. The groom was a 10/10 and for being a first time customer they gave me a gift bag with a photo frame of my pups enjoying themselves. I will never go anywhere else again. Very convenient and quick as well, 3 hours tops!

This was my second groomer that I brought my dog too. I am very picky with what I want and how I like my dogs face. Julia took care of me as soon as I walked in. She write down what I was saying and I sent her pictures of how I wanted my dog to look. Christina cut and groomed my dog and I could not be happier. They even gave me updates on how she was doing throughout. I would suggest anyone to go here. They’re amazing!!

Had a wonderful experience with my 9 month old golden doodle. They did an amazing job, and they were able to handle her puppy anxiety and energy! She looks beautiful and they even played music to help calm her down. I highly recommend them.

Price was more than expected at pick up; they charge extra $10 for clean face & paws for a poodle (never had to pay this before at 3 different salons). Was told my 10 month old poodle puppy had an ear infection. Drove home to look for a vet, since I just moved here. By the time I got home a mile away, there was blood all over his car crate like a crime scene. Called back on my way to the emergency vet to ask if they cut the quick of a nail or something; never heard back. Emergency vet cost me $180. Couldnt determine presence of ear infection, but did see several front nails that were cut severely short. That had to be extremely painful & traumatic for my puppy to endure, like torture! No reason for that abuse!

Just had my little rescue dog groomed here and it was great !! 1st of all I was able to do a walk in apt and get done right away. I have a tiny dog that I just got as a rescue from a puppy mill and he is still somewhat skittish. They were terrific with him and he came bouncing out to me when he was done wagging his tail. He was not stressed at all.While waiting I saw a standard poodle who had a great cut and also was a happy dog waiting for its owner. They have a nice play area for the dogs waiting to be groomed with padded floors and play toys . I had heard some stories about other groomers in the area where the dogs would come out with their tail between the legs.The staff is friendly and accommodating and made me feel secure aboutleaving my nervous little dog with them.

I am extra careful where I take my little guy to get grooms . Vip pet grooming has the best service. They handle so gently yet so perfect with my dog . He came out looking / smelling so good . Definitely deserve a 5 star . They also give discounts to first timers
