I loved my experience there i came in to get my dream pet and i ended up wanting to take all of them home, they have great prices and accommodate guest as much as they can.They have great varieties of loving cuties and you’d definitely fall inlove as soon as you step in the store. Not to mention they also add so many freebies when you buy its the best, they treat dogs with care and always have them nice and clean. They are patient with costumers and they make sure you leave satisfied. I came in to get a tiny dog breed and they have so manyyy i want all of them!! all the babies they provide are absolutely worth it, the doggies are well trained and are loving and so cuteeee. They also provide other animals too! I 100% recommend coming in to get your dream pet it wont disappoint at all!!

Hey my name is Alba , I drove by Zoo-Rama pet shop almost everyday on their closed hours until o finally got to go in. The greet the atmosphere and the way they speak about the dogs were beyond my expectations. I got the best dog in the world. He’s such a good boy and well trained. They gave me 2 bags of free stuff with my purchase of my toy poodle. Pampers, dry food, wet food, bed , a shirt, dog treat, toys etc. the dog also came with the microchip. The owners and workers were great! Recommend this place! The way they love animals is unique.

Great place to purchase a dog! The staff is amazing and super helpful when trying to find the right breed. I bought my chihuahua from them in Feb 2023 and she is healthy and a love bug! When its time to find another furry family member, well be coming back here!

We got our beautiful puppy Vicky from this pet store, the process was very smooth, everybody at this place are so nice and pleasant. They explained everything to us and also gave us a nice started kit that included food, toys, and treats. Last weekend we went back for her first grooming appointment and everything was great. Great experience !! I google pet stores and this shop caught my attention with the reviews and customer service !! I called 30 minutes before closing and they answer all questions no rush . Went the following day to just take a look and fell in love with my puppy Ace. Legit shop , puppy came with a free one visit vet visit , food, treats , toys and etc . You want a puppy go there .

Got my little baby boy yesterday and I am so happy with the experience and the staff were amazing and helpful plus very knowledgeable. I had my son with me (2) and they so sweet with him as well while we filled out the paper work. Would definitely recommend going to them!! They get new dogs every week and are very well taken care of.

We got our first pet, Kody Bear from Zoo-Rama.The store was pretty busy with people in and out but the staff was professional and super helpful. Not to mention their prices were good reasonable compared to a lot of other places. We were in search for our hypoallergenic puppy and they made sure we made the right final choice with the miniature poodle. You get some time to watch how the dog behaves and hold them.The process was pretty easy, they ask for your drivers license and you sign the detailed paperwork on the dog which gives information on it’s breeder, vaccinations and the stores policy.Additionally, they provided a very helpful care package of treats, food, toys, wee wee pads and more.Reviews should really impact your decision, make sure you do your research before settling for an unreliable place. I cant express enough how grateful I am for Zoo-Rama . A year ago, I bought a beautiful Goldendoodle from their shop, and it has been one of the best decisions of my life. This Pet shop is hands down the best place I’ve been to, they have a variety of dogs breeds the staff are excellent, their communication is amazing, I was waiting for them to get Boston Terriers for months and the manager kept in touch with me and always answered any questions or concerns I had. When the Boston Terriers came in they let me know asap and before I knew it my partner and I were bringing home our baby boy. They were extremely helpful when it came to financing and it all around was just an amazing experience. This is the second dog I got from them so now I have my 2 babies happy and healthy with their help and with the free first vet visit certificate they provide.

Zoo Rama is a great place to purchase your puppies, and also to bring them for a trim. They are very good with taking care of the puppies and also give you things for them to use for free. Thank you guys!

My boy friend and I had a wonderful experience here! We went in just to look and walked out with our new baby! The puppies are healthy and they really make sure you take the proper care of the puppies. The pricing in my opinion is worth it because they basically give you a whole puppy starter pack. They give you food, treats, a bed, pee pads, an outfit, toys, and a free vet visit. Im so happy we were able to find our baby, we are so happy 😊

I Loved Zoo-Rama Pets. This is great place to buy a pet for your family. I just got my havapoo dog for a reasonable price, I was explained so well on how to take care for my puppy and what to do to keep her safe and healthy. All the animals in the store very well taken care of and clean. Excelente service a lot of selection of puppies to buy. The staff is excellent .the owner is very friendly and helps you with all your needs. I definitely recommend it.

I got both my miniature schnauzers at Zoorama and honestly it was the best decision I made to get both my boys from there I’m very happy with the choice made. The owner makes sure your dogs are healthy and well taken care of before they go home and when you’re ready to take them home she provides you with medicine for them and explains to you how you can care for them. The staff are nice and the place is very well put, if I couldve bought another puppy I would’ve got my third Miniature from there love the place 😊

This is one of the best pet shops I’ve ever gotten a pet from! When I got my puppy, they were extremely helpful with payment plans, communication and were very responsive. When my puppy got sick they helped out immensely with the vet and insured she was healthy and taken care of as well as checking in on her. My little one is happy and healthy!!I highly recommended purchasing a puppy here!!!

I am soooo in love with my baby from Zoo Rama.The experience of purchasing was wonderful. My kids were allowed to play with multiple dogs until they finally chose our tiny white Maltipoo.We signed the papers and were given toys, treats, food for about 2 months, a bed, bowls and a folder of detailed instructions (feeding, care, a free vet visit from a vet very near by, vaccine info etc.)Oh! And our baby is pre-micro chipped. All I had to do was visit the website to register the chip which costs a one time fee of $26. No other fees required ever again.I took her to the free vet visit just 4 days after purchasing her. You have up to 14 days to take your pet to the visit. I believe this is for health guarantee purposes. They gave her a full exam and even a fecal test. Everything was negative. If you want a blood test, that is an extra cost.She came with most vaccines. All she needed was to compete the parvo vaccine series as most puppies do.Everything went perfectly with Zoo Rama from staff to the health of my baby. She’s super tiny and so cute.Thank you.

We have had our puppy for a month now and he is an amazing addition to the family. I would recommendto anyone new looking to own a puppy or existing pet owners. The owner was very knowledgeable, caring, and respectful with us. He understood what we wanted and helped us greatly. He made sure that the dog was healthy and ready to go home. I have purchased two puppies from you guys and have never been happier.My first pup tommy was purchased last year in august ….he’s been a very healthy boy and given me no problems (thanks the heavens).My second pup “valentine” i purchased this month. I spent a lot of time researching different stores in the area and finally decided to check this place out in June. After visiting the store, I fell in love with a little Pomapoo pup who I brought home a month ago. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at Zoo Rama. The staff was patient and well informed. The prices were more than fair (especially compared to another Bronx store that I’d been considering). The store itself was super clean and it was obvious that the puppies were well cared for and loved by the staff.I’ve had my puppy for a month now and I am so glad that Zoo Rama helped me find her. She’s healthy, cuddly, and very easy to train so I do believe they use reputable breeders. She came chipped and with her first round of shots already and they sent us home with a bag full of supplies to get us started.Thank you for everything Zoo Rama!

We recently took one beautiful Cavapoo puppy home. After free vet exam(which Zoorama provided to us) our puppy Maggie is in excellent health and one very happy 🐶. 5 stars all around. Me and my family have been wanting a dog for a long time. All the staff were very nice and helpful and the they made it very easy for us to get the dog. They give you a number so you can text them with any questions and a lot of free items to help you get started plus a free visit to the vet as soon as you get the dog. My cousin got a dog from this store just 2 weeks ago and he highly recommended it to me and now i too have a dog and i also highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new addition to their family. :)

Honest review time! I had questions obviously about purchasing a puppy from a store, however with a lot of reading and phone calls, I felt better about making the big decision of officially homing a puppy with me! Let me say, since yesterday when me and my family made the decision to go ahead and get him, (we have been waiting for the perfect poodle), we got the perfect poodle! I named him Rudy! Here are some pictures! I love him so much! He is a miniature poodle and hes the best! He came with all of his paperwork plus the microchip!!! Wow! Thank you Zoo-Rama Pets! Zoo-Rama, the BEST PLACE TO BUY YOUR FIRST PET! We purchased our Oreo (American Cocker-spaniel)in 2021, and man, ooh man, we are in love with her! The owner was so pleasant and patient with me and my many questions and concerns. He even answered my phone calls after business hours. She was only 6 weeks old when we got her. If you are thinking about bringing home another family member home, this is the place to get your family member! He is willing to work with you with the price.

Geeetings everyone! I was very fortunate to find this place! I almost got scammed from an online website selling Yorkshire puppies, I was being charged 4,000 at another shop in the Bronx. I found ZooRama by reading a very negative review about another pet shop and the person recommended ZooRama. I drove over there with a quickness lol. My first impression walking in was positive. The shop looked clean, floors clean and the puppies and kennels clean. The staff was friendly, informative and patient. They allowed me to hold a cute little Yorkshire puppy . She was very playful, smelled good and smart! Since she was the last one I believe that the universe kept her just for me. I am picking her up Saturday! So excited. I made a very comfy puppy bed for her! Thank you so much ZooRama!!!

We purchased our Wolfe from Zoo-Rama a few weeks ago and they have become like family already. Very friendly, knowledgeable and they really care for their animals. They have given us so many tips even after bringing him home and have really held our hand throughout this experience. The staff is friendly and the groomer is careful. I loved my trip to Zoo-rama pet shop. I loved the dogs immediately and had to purchase one. I was treated well and with the respect. I love this place. My puppy is beautiful. They license your puppy for you. All matters are explained to you. You get great service at this shop. I was treated so well, I purchased three puppies. I love them all. Great place.

The owners are friendly and take care of the animals. They are very knowledgeable about each animal. Our little buddy got a small cough, they immediately took him back for a few days to treat him and he is all better now, hopping all over the place!Okay my previous review is how I originally felt. But our little buddy got kennel cough and Im guessing was not completely treated. He had to be rushed to the vet and given antibiotics that he have to take for 7 days. Kennel cough is very contagious and will happen in a crowded pet shop. The owners have offered to refund the vet bill since we just got him less than a month ago. Make sure to wash all of the dogs items. Blanket, toys and bed.

I like going there to buy my Sheba inu (Lucy) dry food and foodcans as well. Every 2 to 3 months I take my dog to get her nails trimmed without any problem. Staff is friendly always; the best place to buy a pet I recommend anyone. I brought my Lucy 2 yr ago qnd she is healthy from day one to present.

I did not go to visit this Store. I went by the reviews. I called and a nice woman asked how she could help. She informed me that she just sold a Cavalier 2 weeks ago, but will call Breeder and find out when another may be available. There was excessive barking so a bit hard to hear, but if they do get my favorite Breed in, I will go. Her price was so resonable as well, compared to NY Breeder Pet Store. I will follow up this week and update.

Excellent service and the variety of puppies are astounding. Jay is very attentive and helps you with the introduction of your new puppy. Any questions he will listen and answer. Each puppy is bathed and combined before you take them home. An excellent place if you are looking to bring a new member into you family.

I bought my puppy from this location a few months ago and have no complaints at all. I usually inspect pet stores for cleanliness & how well the dogs are maintained before buying & I was not disappointed. I quickly noticed how the staff fully interacts with all the puppies cleaning the cages periodically, & there was no odor or smell & all the puppies appeared healthy & happy. The staff seems to really care & have a genuine love for pets. I even return periodically for grooming at the premises as well. My pet is now a happy addition to my family. I highly recommend this pet store.

Let me tell you hands down no denying it, you want a puppy this is the place you need and must go. The selection of puppies are insane . It’s almost impossible to make a decision on what kind of dog you would want unless you came already with a breed in mind. Jay was one of the store employees and his knowledge, his patience and kindness goes along way when it comes to helping you make a choice and selection, he helps you grasp the true understanding in what it means to own a puppy, the love and responsibility it takes to be a owner.. The woman behind the desk wasn’t much for words but her grace and welcoming personality goes a long way with the treatment you get here. The puppies and their health matter to them more then any amount of money you offer them. She gave us so much stuff with the purchase of the dog that I couldn’t believe it. The outfit down to toys and food where all a plus/add on for free.. Even the price for our pure breed compared to what we know is out there was also a bonus for what we got.. Please dont support puppy stores. These animals come from puppy mills. These are puppy mill dogs. Not well taken care off. Their mothers love pathetic lives in filth. Half of the dogs transported to puppy stores from puppy mills dont even make it barely alive. This store has been selling puppy mill dogs for way too long.Do your research. Cheap dogs come with health issues are puppy mill dogs. No matter what a certificate says

I went to get a puppy for my daughter and this place was amazing they are very helpful but not pushy they helped me a lot with the financial application so i can take the puppy home, they gave me a lot of free food and pads to cover weeks with my new puppy, a free vet visit, and all the dogs paper work and NYc license and also they got in contact with me days after to fallow up how we were doing 100% happy

Zoo Rama is the best pet store by any means! I have purchased 2 amazing puggles from them and both are healthy and amazing dogs! Every time I go in; they are always very welcoming and will answer any questions you may have about your dog. I purchased my toy poodle from Zoo-rama in July of 2022 for a very good deal. She is super sweet and very friendly and pretty much pad strained. No health issues at all. I was given plenty of food both dry and wet, pads, collar and bowls for about 2 months. They also pay for her to get spayed. I am very satisfied and I highly recommend Zoo-Rama Pets.

Well it’s been 3 weeks since I brought my best friend home. Mr. Bentley is the most precious gift I could receive from my children. He’s smart, funny and so cute. I walked in one day hoping to buy a puppy but I didnt cause the prices were a bit too high for me and the breed I want wasnt there. But I have to say, the staffs were so nice to me and made me feel comfortable. They even took a puppy out of the crate and let me hold it without asking which was even nicer. If I have to buy a puppy in the future, its going to be from here. Also prices are $1,200 and up. (Dont know if it changed but go check it out yourself. We purchased the cutest Pomeranian from Zoo Rama his name is teddy. The staff was so sweet and they gave us some wee wee pads a dog bed and some dog food, which was very sweet as most pet shops don’t do that to customers. My first impression of this place was good and I was very excited to buy a puppy from here. I thought the people there seemed knowledgable and seemed to care about the pets. However, after only a day of having the puppy it was clear he had kennel cough. Kennel Cough is extremely dangerous, and although the pet shop paid the vet bill, my puppy is suffering terribly. You can not put a price on the health of these dogs. He couldnt eat, barely drank, barely slept. My older dog is now coughing and this is just terrible. When I went to the vet there were 2 other puppies from this shop that were also sick during that same week. That entire pet shop needs to be thoroughly sanitized all through before they put another puppy in one of those cages. Im incredibly disappointed with this experience and I can not say I will be back again.

Very nice people. They are always willing to work with you with the prices. They give you a very nice starter kit and pay for your first vet visit. I like them so much and how the treat you and make you feel that I went back and purchased another dog. I would highly recommend them.

I can say so many wonderful things about this place. One thing for sure is they have outstanding workers who each deliver excellent customer service. They also allow you to bond with the puppy you are eyeing to take home. No one tries to force a sale on you as other places have done to me. The dogs are definitely well taken care of and they have many breeds to choose from. I took home a Pomsky and my sister took home a German Shepard. I usually come across people trying to sell overpriced Pomskies but it wasn’t the case at this location. The prices are definitely fair, they also work with another company if you wish to finance your new puppy. Once we bought our pups here it wasn’t just over and done with it. The owners provide resources and recommendations so make sure to ask questions because they are really helpful! If you are in a borough outside of the Bronx, trust me it’s great to take a journey to this pet store to find your new fur baby. So I got there super early to get my yorkie a haircut.. Had no idea that I was gonna walk away with a brand new addition to my family not only did I walk away with a beautiful yorkie mix but the service was phenomenal. The location is clean, puppy selection is good. Not many other animals besides an African Grey bird thats not for sale. However, I have to say, theres a wild collection of cactuses in the shop and its a fantastic sight if youre into that kind of thing. Otherwise, staff is friendly. Peta are well kept, they offer many pet supplies including tanks and miscellaneous dog grooming supplies. Also, prices on pets are pretty fair.

Purchased my Boxer (Mynx) from them 5 yrs ago and they are wonderful. Management and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They offer different payment plans. A vet comes in and provide quality care treatment for prevention and long lasting health of the animals. As you know, many laws have change but this business surpasses the expectation of the government. I highly recommend them not because they sold me a great dog but because they’re always available to help. I’m confident that they will answer all of your questions, worries and ways to keep your future dog absolutely healthy!

Honestly the best experience I could have asked for when buying my baby shih tzu from Jay. First the price of these adorable puppies are VERY reasonable! Secondly, Jay was friendly, helpful, understanding, and responsible. He started me off with a starter pack that came with a months supply of food, some wee wee pads, a bed for my baby, water/food bowl and some toys. He was so helpful with anything I was worried about even after purchase (via text) and really took care of my concerns when the fecal analysis came back positive. Jay generously offered to cover the expenses for medication and another fecal analysis. Truly there are no words to express how grateful I am to Zoo-Rama and JAY for making this so pleasant. Great place! I found Zoorama by researching locations by us. What really called out to me is that the owners are quick to respond to reviews which much of the other places i looked into didn’t have. Me and my family went on Saturday and fell in love with a little Shihtzu pup. The employees were friendly and very informative about how to take care of the puppy once we took them home. I purchased a puppy here in March although they treated my nice seemed like the generally care about the animals. My puppy is sick Ive done nothing but take him to the veterinarian sat found out he has a parasite from birth. Im so upset he such a smart pup. Im so disappointed and dissatisfied!! Although this person is responding to my review the only way is by conducting a fecal test to find this issue of parasites my pup also has a terrible ear infection that when purchased he had it so hes taking two medications. The Bills are just adding up now!

Bought two pups one for my niece and one for my kids. Healthy animals and a good business. Jay is a nice person to work with and it seems like the caretakers take good care of the animals pre purchase, hence the reason why I went back a purchased a second pup.

The people here are very kind, polite and generous. May they be blessed for the way they treated me. I walked in there concerned because my older dog had a relentless itch. It was a Saturday evening and I did not know where to go. I explained the problem to them and they very patiently and attentively took the time to provide helpful advice on how to soothe my dear pet; gave me the number to a vet who provides free consultation and even handed me a free sample of healthy food, in case the one I give the dog is the cause of the issue. What a difference those people made! Thank you sir and lady.

They have so many gorgeous dogs, I got my Teddy bear (shih Tzu/ Bichon friss) mix from here 4 weeks ago. Only complaint is that I wish they checked the dogs more frequently especially their ears, a few days after purchasing we had to take the puppy to the vet because he kept scratching his ears so much. We were told he had an untreated ear infection :(. We are still monitoring him.

Such a great place, feels like home with the Beautiful Puppies, the owners and workers are wonderful warm hearted people who enjoy and share it with their customers, but most of all with their animals. They are kept well in the Summer with enough AC and Fans also great temperatures in the winter for the comfort of their dogs. Their place is always clean, havent seen any cleaner which shows how sanitary they are and the importance they put with all efforts to do so. Have never seen any dog cage dirty for it is immedaitly cleaned. Enough food to keep their bellys full and water bottles to keep all their puppies hydrated. Zoorama offers pet grooming, pet supplies and reasonably priced puppies which are mesmerizing. I recommend this pet store above all. When you walk in they make you feel like family. DO NOT BUY HERE. I purchased my puppy on Feb 9th 2016, we purchased our three month Soft coated Wheaton terrier for 950. When we got to the pet store there were only female Wheaton terriers out for 1600 and we explained to the sales associate we were looking for a male. She went to the back and brought out our puppy and explained to us they had a special going on and he was only 950. We purchased him and took him home later that week when we brought him for his first check up and shots we found out he was sick with kennels cough. My dog is constantly coughing up flem, eye mucus and cant even run around do to his trouble breathing. after purchasing his medicine I went back to the pet store and explained to them my situation. The woman there told me if wanted to give the dog back for my money and if not they could keep him there for two days to treat him themselves I asked if any of them were vets they all said no. Then they had this machine in the shop to flush out my dogs lungs and told me they were going to give him medication after they used the machine on him. I refused the treatment because no one was a vet. They obviously dealt with kennel cough before because of the equipment and there were also two other dogs in the back room coughing. They tried to tell me kennel cough was common and was due to the weather changing. I just grabbed my dog and left. Ive spent so much money to purchase my dog and to have him treated for this spending money on medication , X-rays , and exams .. Worst experience ever. Im currently filing a suit against this disgusting place.

They have a Siberian Husky in an incredibly small cage who is so unbelievable bored he was just sitting there eating all of the paper shreds. You are a sad excuse for a human being if you buy or sell puppies from a puppy store. Buying a puppy from a puppy store is 100% supporting puppy mill breeding.

I came during covid#9 to get my daughter a pet to show her responsibility and we purchased a all black pug good price and within a month and 2weeks we had a family Emergency and had to travel .Called pet shop to see if they watch dog (dog sit) for 4 days they willing agreed to watch our new family member at a very small charge which worked out great for Us..Great Service and friendly staff and prompt phone service. Worse dog grooming place ever , very unsanitary they didnt even ask to see my dogs health records. This was our first time going to a local groomer and my dog caught kennel cough. Very tiny cages and when I went to pick up my dog I was asked to come in to help them trim my dog nails ! Overall I got a sick dog and her hair cut was horrible , had to fix it my self.

We went to see about a puppy for our 15 yr old daughter. Management was kind and informative but the prices were very high. We decided to go the adoption/rescue route instead.

Place should be closed down. God only knows where the dogs come from. Its a sad state theyre in.Theres too many of them barking as if they want out. It looks more like a breeding farm with dogs in horrific conditions. Greedy bastards with over populated pups. I wanted to take them all home. I think they had a pic of a dog thief on window, hes not a thief, hes a rescuer. One pup saved

Bought my yorkie hendrix here last year on Black Friday weekend. Tomorrow he is for to surgery due to a congenital disease called leg calve perthes disease . You should inform your breeder about this. The vet said that no breeder should breed any dog with that type of hereditary disease.

They puppies look very sickly. The Spanish lady try to sell me a puppy who just had surgery. The stitches was still on the puppy, it couldnt even walk when she put the poor dog on the floor. This place need to be shut down.

This place is a small store that sells puppies, theyre very expensive in the 1 to 3 thousand and they do have a payment plan but not all dogs you can take home on the same day you have to wait but some you can take on the same day.

Nice atmosphere with a nice variety of pups. Very hands on. Everything you need is supplied when you adopt a pup.

I got a Schnauzer from this place 13 yrs ago and my dog is still very healthy. I was given papers from the breeder. This place are selling healthy dogs from breeders.

Theres no air conditioning in the store. All the dogs that are in the window all have there tongues out. The dont get enough water, I also caught the dogs eating there own poop. This place should be closed down.
