The dog run is spacious but lacking severely maintenance. The fence is low in one corner, meaning if your dog is a jumper and or easily distracted, they may jump over. The mound of dirt in front of the dog run, I recently learned was up to use dog owners to place and fill the dog run with... Do you own a shovel? The cleaning the parks employees do every three months in the dog run pales in comparison to the local neighborhood communities whove done their due diligence in organizing and keeping the dog run clean for events.

The location of the dog run is nice but I am not a fan of the wood chips, since it prevents my dogs from running. Wish there was a small dog section.

The park is fairly well kept however the outer gates do not have locks. The community have rigged it best they can but a proper fix / replacement lock is needed.

This dog run at Franz Sigel has been recently been redone to be able to have bigger size dogs. Have your dogs enjoy all the new space while you enjoy the sitting area.

The fence are too low on one side. My dog is medium size and she can jump over it if she really wanted to. The wood chips I’m not a fan. No water station for dogs and the entry way keeps breaking. This dog run needs a whole makeover

Small, dusty & the fences are too short. Any dog/human could climb over either to hurt a dog/human. I hope their city councilmember & NYC Parks helps them with rebuilding and/or getting a much well deserved & proper turf for our fur babies.

The closest dog run to me, and I am greatful for it! The visitors there are nice and very insightful. If you are a new dog owner and do nothing more than offer helping hands

This was the first time my dog was in the park. I am so glad I brought him here to run freely. He had lots of fun and made new friends. We will be back for sure!

Great find. Had no idea this was even here. Will be bringing the Supers dog more often. Now need to find a reputable dog trainer in the area.

Space is Too small for large dogs & so is the fence. However, I Guess it is ideal for smaller dogs.

Its a pleasant park especially in the fall weather. Summer time its horrible due to the disrespect people have for our public parks.

Seems to be more for bigger dogs, not too great for smaller pups, especially if the owner has zero control over their dog

Clean and convenient - if parties are happening nearby, it can get loud. Try to keep non-dog owners out of the run.
