St. Marys Dog Run

Cute little dog park. Was clean when I passed by with dogs playing. It feels smaller because of the background area, but it’s nearly as big as the one I just reviewed in queens so maybe it’s an NYC Park standard size. I’m not sure. But it’s cute and clean and glad it’s here. I hope to bring my dog here one day soon for the dog run park.

Nice open area, a big section for all Dogs and a small section for small dogs, but nothing really to play with besides tires.

The children shouldnt be playing in it. Its not the play ground. And it would have veen more enjoyable if the area around it wasnt filled with so much trash.

I and my dog enjoy it there. They have benches so you can relax and let dogs be dogs while they enjoy themselves. They have two caged in areas in case you have a sensitive dog or crazy dog. Some dogs gotta go slow till they get used to it. It has the entrance gate setup to prevent dogs getting hurt and your cool too. They have a water fountain for both you and your dog. Light years from how it used to be. Enjoy😁🐕‍🦺🐕

If have dog that get a long with other dog this the park two bring them two

It was nice. We were alone in the small dog park, we did some running around and had room to chase a ball. Wish some owners were responsible enough to curb their dogs as there are plenty of necessary tools to do so.

I give st Marys dog run 5 stars because it has helped me cope with my 8 months old chocolate labrador, with so much energy to disperse, I am grateful for the dog run, there he meets other dogs and their moms who happily allow the dogs to play and run. They dont have that privilege at home,. I am very happy to have this facility in my neighborhood, even though I walk 15 minutes each way, exercise for me and my puppy is of utmost importance ..I recommend this location to chill with your furry loved ones . I am pleased 😀

Its a nice clean large dog park for your dog to get a good run

Its the only dog park near me and its a sad excuse for a dog run. For the size its small when you take into consideration the area they put it in. Plenty of owners disregard the sizing rules for both sides of the run. And plenty of people dont respect leash laws around these parts so I dont feel like its a safe area for all dogs. They could have put some sort of water fountain for the dogs at least. They put one dilapidated bench on the large dog side. And not all dogs that participate in the runs are friendly by all means. Ive had good and bad encounters here. Im not giving it a great review because we, the people and our dogs of The Bronx, deserve so much better. And we can do better.

Fantastic. There are two parks, one for all dogs and one for small dogs. Both are large and have enough room for the dogs to run around. There is also a dog water fountain. The people who visit here are friendly. It probably the best dog park in the South Bronx.

🐕CONSTRUCTION UPDATE!!!🐕Went back to the St. Marys Dog Run and it was under major construction. I dont know when it will be completed but I cant wait to see what the new Dog Run will look like.🐕My dogs loved it but the only problem was that the grass was so overgrown that we had to push the gate door to close it🐕

Has a great dog area for all dogs. There are two sides. One for small dogs and another for bigger dogs. My dogs love meeting new dogs.

The dog run is spacious for dogs to run in. It has 2 dog runs, a small one and a larger one. It can get muddy in the dog run and sometimes people dont pick up after their dogs. A water fountain and maybe some obstacles would make it more fun.

This is a cool place to bring your dog to exercise. Located at St. Marys St & Cypress Ave. in St. Marys Park. Its just been renovated with new benches, baseball fields (2) and a dog park and it looks great

There are no benches for the small size dog area. No water faucets. Could be a great dog park if some more things are done for the doggies!!

Very nice park with great areas of shade and lots of places to sit. It is in the middle of a renovation so some parts are off limits

Wonderful park although its going threw reconstruction. Im very sure it will be even more better after its finished

They really did a good job with the renovation. The water fountain and free poop bag dispensers are awesome.

Small park is great but its the people not cleaning their dogs is the problem. Also needs a water fountain for dogs

My favorite place for my 3 girls Chihuahuas. Come with your dogs and enjoy with them this beautiful place 5 ⭐.

Park has been reconstructed and once open will be a very special dog run and social location for area pets and owners.

Between the poop all over, the parts of trees that are all over, and peoples garbage they seem to believe that they can just drop off in the park its a mess! Come on people, this path is for all of us.

The park is beautiful fun for the dogs and theres all kind of activity around the dog park for the entire family

This park is horrible for kids and dogs the drug activity is crazy you see needles everywhere and how they put a metel box inside the bathrooms so they can throw there dirty needles in there which is unacceptable kids go in those bathrooms..

Its a beautiful place to sit and watch the dogs and owners interact on Saturdays its beautiful😁😊😉😂🤩😏😚😏🤨

Nice dog park! major upgrade campaired to the old one that was there before it.

Has swemingpool, you can take uour dogs to dog play ground, baseball ,workouts, its that cool.

Its a safe place for your dog to go play and make new friends.

I have seen other dog parks that have water for dogs to drink this park does not have water for dogs

Ive been visiting this park since I was 3 yrs old! Its a neighborhood park, where everyone comes to relax and chill.

I walked by. People dont clean up behind their pets. Yuck.

Alot of men doing drugs, and needles on the grass, but the park is ok.

Thought it was bigger but my golden retriever enjoyed herself running around, stretching her legs & making new friends. It has a real nice obstacle course for the pups. Area inside is gravel dirt. Both inside & outside were pretty clean & well kept. Theres a double gate, water fountain for both humans & pups, poop baggies & a smaller run for small pups. While speaking to some of the people who frequent the run, found out that this place is better than the one before...it was just a small square patch with fake grass...😳😳😳. Glad this new place is here for our fur babies to play!

I am looking for a family for the little white dog

I didnt like it very much, the pet owners dont clean up after the dogs, even though they had free bags placed on the wire fences there. And also the people who arrive are not friendly, only one boy greeted and was affectionate with the other dogs.

The park is very beautiful
