Best groomer (Starr) Ive ever gone to!! Did exactly what i asked when it came to the service and specifically haircut. He didnt even look like he wanted to leave when I went to go pick him up 😭. He loved it there. She showed me around before I left him and he also doesnt like his paws clipped but for her it was no problem. She was extremely kind, very patient yet got him out within under 2 hours, very professional and treated my dog with love and respect! I will definitely be coming back when my dog Teddy needs another grooming :)!! Thank you!

Best dog grooming in the Bronx: Our little poodles had the time of their life. We dropped them off, and they were brand new. When my husband and I picked them up, they were perfect! Star is the best. She cared so much for her dogs, and her place was so lovely and clean. From the minute we walked in, we could tell she was a lovable and caring person. We would never go and trust anywhere else. I will continue going to her. We loved her service. So lucky to have found her. You should check it out you won’t be disappointed!

Great experience with dogstar grooming. My pup had really bad mats and needed to be groomed asap. She was very accommodating and was able to squeeze me in last minute, which I appreciated! The cherry on-top was the adorable Christmas photos that she took! Highly recommend her for your grooming needs. :)

First time grooming for my one year old puppy Hatchi and the experience was PHENOMENAL. Although he gave a little trouble being that it was his first time, the groomers were caring and nurturing. They made my Hatchi feel safe and calm and gave him a beautiful new look. Hands down the BEST groomers in the Bronx and will give any other groomers in the city a run for their money. It was so great to find such great groomers near by ! Every dog mom/ dad knows how hard it is to find trust worthy dog lovers to take care of our babies . My sweet Cali was in a pickle because petco had no upcoming appts and her hair got matted in her legs and belly a lot . I was easily accommodated in a week , great communication , great timing because I work , very professional , caring ladies . Cali was in great hands ! They were patient , gentle and nurturing to her needs . She looked like a superstar even with her low haircut ! Her bandana was the cutest . She smelled amazing and most importantly when I picked her up she was so happy , she gravitated to the ladies and I knew she had been loved and handled with great care . I took my dog the first day I got him and I was searching for a groomer and right away I found this groomer and THANK GOD I did. She was just so nice and loving to my dog. I was so scared because I know some groomers can be nasty. But when I picked up my dog he was clean, and I can just tell she took great care of him. Star was super nice and she did an excellent job on my dogs haircut. She cut his hair exactly how i wanted her to. There was a little bit of a hiccup with out appointment time but it ended up working out well and i am very happy with the outcome of my dog Tucos haircut.

Just took my Maltese yesterday for the first time, I was afraid how she would react to a new groomer since our old one is relocating and Im greatful everything went extremely well I even got adorable pictures of her with a birthday dress and cute background. The best groomers so far for my baby boy Tobbi , I was super desperate after my last groomer was totally unprofessional and didn’t get back to me anymore and I had to find another solution !! I went on google and saw these AMAZING reviews and had to try it out , they even asked if I was available same day which I was , they took care of my baby boy within 2 hours , great customer service , great professionalism, amazing women , great at what they do and loving who they do what they do for !! If you had to take your dog somewhere , it should be here doesn’t matter how fat you have to come !!!! It’s worth the trip

Found this groomer on the web and saw the great reviews from clients so I decided to take my daughter’s dog for a grooming service after so many people failed at what we wanted done. She was absolutely professional and calming with the dogs. My daughter’s dog is shy and hates the outside but he was very calm with her. When I picked him up I was absolutely pleased with the service and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend her to anyone if you truly love your dog.

Star is the only groomer I take my dogs to, both of which are rescues. She’s so gentle with them and NEVER lets them get stressed out. She is so patient and caring. My dogs always look great and confident after their grooming session. Star works by appointments only so she can provide her services with time, love, and patience.One last thing the doggy daycare/boarding area is so clean and super cute! I love that you can rent it out for parties and there’s a fenced backyard for the dogs to play in.

Excellent service the groomer is very personableAnd friendly yet professional. By far the best groomer in the area. Always professional , loving and patient with my dogs.She keeps my boys fresh with their haircuts and the coolest kids at the dog park.To my pleasant surprise they also do doggy day care. I have taken my 2 dogs to multiple groomers and once I found Dogstar Grooming I will never go to another groomer again. They are very patient and knowledgeable on pet care. They treat every pet like their own, its like a warm loving pet family. My boys are squirmy lil monsters and their hair cuts come out 5 star all the time. I’m never disappointed. First time taking my baby to this groomer and I am more than pleased, his cut was exactly what I requested. He can be quite a handful but they were very patient with him and super quick too. The two women I spoke to were very sweet and you can tell they have a big love for animals. Will definitely be taking him here again :)

No complaints! I bring my 2 boys for grooming and Star does a amazing job. She grooms the way you want and treats all dogs with love and respect. I trust her with my babies which says alot in itself. If your dog gets nervous or scared to be groomed she works well with these dogs giving them time to adjust and loving attention to gain their trust Shes usually busy so if you call and no answer, text her and for sure she will get back to you asap. Her phone # is on front of store. Her prices are very resonable, but for me knowing my dogs are safe, being treated with love, not having to worry about anything like i hear about other groomers means everything to me. I have two pitbulls and I only take them to Starr. They always come out with their nails nicely trimmed and smelling awesome. In the back she has an area for the dogs to play and have some freedom, which my dogs love. On holidays she does cute events and decorates the shop for dog and cat owners to come and enjoy the day with their pets. Shes very gentle and has a passion for what she does. Dogstarr is the only place Ill take my dogs.

No one answered the phone on their website in regards to make an appointment or ask questions about their services. I found a veterinarian doctor in Riverdale, Bronx NY, that answered their phone published on their website and not only did they answer theyre phone, but gave me answers to my questions and was able to get an appointment the following day. Great service from theyre customer service and vet.

This is the only place I bring my dogs to get groomed.This place is so clean and well kept, and the staff is AMAZING! The groomer treats all dogs like her own. This place does NOT use cages and the dogs are well supervised and are allowed to roam. They are so patient With the dogs and put the pups safety first. They always Make sure to give my d breaKs as they get Stressed alot. I Cannot say enough good things about Dogstar Grooming but they are definitely worth the visit. I cannot recommend them enough.

60$ to cut the dog’s hair, clip his/her nails, and give him a lil bath room. My dog was abused and had a rough time until we took him in. Not only did he receive love but Dog Star grooming saved my Boy’s life. I’m not lying this place is Legit, if your dog needs grooming go here!

I was given stars info from a friend, mutual pet owner, when I was looking for a groomer for my special needs pomeranian who had 3 legs and other skeletal issues. Star came highly recommended so I tried her out. She was very patient and kind with my tripaw elderly lil guy, hes going on 13 yrs old. Ive been going to her for about 2 years now, her pricing is affordable. She does a lot of rescue work with animals and is very patient and knowledgeable. She kindly gave my friend a free bath since she rescued and adopted her from a situation that Star knew about.

Took our 2 Shih Tzus this morning to Star, they were soooooo hairy and nails so long but when we went to pick up Jasper & Fetty .... They looked so amazing and so handsome.
