After looking all over Google and social media for a good affordable and close groomer me and my husband found king spa - I loved the work I seen so I booked immediately, the service did NOT disappoints ! My new puppy came out looking like a brand new girlie ! She smells so good & her coat is so silky & shiny ! I am so happy with her outcome & we will be making sure she see him every three months faithfully !

I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had! The cut was perfect and my pup looks cuter than ever. The groomer paid attention to every detail and took the time to understand what I wanted and make it a reality.

This was my Lola’s first time ever getting groomed (she’s 3 mth bichon poodle)and I love it.I chose this place cause of the reviews and I’m glad I did. The groomer was very friendly and did a very good job. Lola looked very beautiful after her grooming and did a great job. Paid for services from this groomer because of its great reviews & not far to get to. Not only did they remind me 15 mins prior to my appointment of the late fees they will implement if I was late BUT THEY were kindly 20 mins late with accepting my pup with no discount. When I finally got word my pup was ready for pick up they advised me she had a bit of hair in her eye so may be squinting a bit and had shook her ponytail out.. needless to say her haircut was TRASH! She looked like what she had been through. There was never any “HAIR” in her eye they definitely poked her eye during cutting her hair. Not only was this cut $150 I incurred vet fees and these ppl never even offered a discount. Initially there was communication and they pretended to be concerned but then all communication stopped when they learned I had to go to the vet.NEVER AGAIN! BEWARE it’s in an apt that you will not be privy to knowing the actual apt. They will meet u outside or in the lobby. I certainly reported them and filed a claim to get my funds back!!

KingSpa is the best. I being taking my goldendoodle with him for over a year when no one wanted him because of his size, but Yoshua never complains and takes very good care of his grooming.Every time my baby goes there he comes out looking like a model. Plus Thor loves it. I learned not to trust anyone but Yoshua when it comes to my baby.

My puppys’ first hair cut!!! She looked so adorable and came out HAPPY!!!! I loved how she looked so much I became of professional photographer 🤣 But seriously she was just soooo cute thanks to king’s spa haircut!!!

This haircut was excellent! I got the perfect summer cut, great for a shizhu! The service was quick and easy and we maintained great communication throughout the process. This was a great experience, with a reasonable price range for such a nice haircut!

I really wanted to love this experience with the great reviews! Its been hard to find someone who knows what theyre doing with my pom. My pom came back downstairs with someone else, not sure if to avoid conversation. The cut was nothing like we discussed. One side of him is bigger than the other.I called a few times to discuss but he never answered and offered no explanation. But I was still charged the full price. To look at your finished job and hand him back to me like that without saying a word was crazy...and hurtful! Its hard to leave your pup with someone you dont know because you have to force yourself to trust them. And I did that.Update:It was absolutely necessary to come here for an update. After 5 months of regrowing my poms coat, and vitamins to help boost, I can confirm his coat is PERMANENTLY DAMAGED! They shaved random body parts so close to the skin it just completely stopped his undercoat from growing back. (And it was supposed to be an only scissor cut!) Anyone with a pom...beware of these guys. Seriously pissed every time I look at the damage theyve caused to his beautiful coat.

I’ve been taking my furbaby to get serviced with KingSpa NYC for quite sometime and it does not disappoint. Love how well groomed my dog comes back, love that it is an actual appointment & I know my dog is not stuck in a pet shop all day, the appt link is very easy and straight forward, and lastly, great communication. 10/10 recommend. 😊 🐶

I took my 6 month old Shihpoo Cookie to KingSpa yesterday. Initially I was apprehensive about leaving her because though I knew I wouldn’t be able to go into the home of the groomer, I thought I would meet him in person. However, his partner Mariah met Cookie and I downstairs and explained the operation. Mariah was very warming, knowledgeable and professional. She made me extremely comfortable placing Cookie in their care. Not only was I pleased with the interaction I had with her, I was overly happy with how my Cookie looked and smelled after her groom. I also learned and as I suspected, her previous groomer with GroomIt, hadn’t done anything other than chopping her hair up horribly. This being Cookie’s 2nd grooming session, King stated it was as if Cookie had never been groomed. On top of doing an amazing job, King and Mariah gave me some great at home grooming tips. Cookie and I will be sticking with KingSpa NYC….the after pic isn’t great because Cookie hates taking pictures after her hair is cut lol

I took my lil pup to KingSpa Grooming service. I honestly did not know what to expect going to there for the first time. He asked me a few questions about about my dog and explained everything to me in detail. I honestly couldnt believe how knowledgeable he was about my dog. I found Kingspa Grooming service to be very caring and accommodating., professional and efficient. Thank you so much for your services, I will be recommending friends and family for now on.

Since my first experience, I was very pleased with their service & I’ve been taking my dog here ever since. They’re extremely caring towards your dog. Dexter had a lot of anxiety during his first appointment & they called me to let me know when he was crying and I was very appreciative of that. Just know that your dog will be in good hands!

This will be my AJs new groomer its its a start up so dont be alarmed if you follow the GPS ,and it leads you to an apartment building. Joshua is an extremely professional groomer with attention to details. Gave my AJ a wonderful haircut and im more than satisfied i reccomend this place to all pet lovers and extremely fair prices book early before you have to wait a while and when your finished just keep in mind i told you so 😉🐶

10/10 would recommend KingSpaNYC. Yashua has been grooming my eldest dog for a few years now and now my youngest dog who can be a task. Each time he does an absolutely amazing job. From the customer service, to the pricing and even the timing, it is just all around amazing. Any vision you have he can make happen. My dogs have come back cut evenly, no cuts/bruises, and elevated energy. I have brought friends/family and they were completely satisfied with the final product. He will definitely be grooming my dog for as long as possible.

I love king spa. He is the first to ever groom my pup. And then he became super popular and I wasn’t able to get any appointments. I started going somewhere else for the moment and I hated every bit of it. They always groomed my pup anyway they wanted to. I then took my pup back to kingspa and again I had the best experience. He is very cool and does an amazing job. I’m so happy for my dog to be back with his original groomer

I have took my dog to KingSpa, located in the Bronx, 2x so far and can honestly say that KingSpa is Amazing!! Very professional, neat and caring. KingSpa will bring the best out of your dog or cat to your liking. I highly recommend if you live in the NYC area to bring your pet here for a fantastic grooming experience.

Hair cuts are good and at a reasonable price. However, the communication is horrible. They never answer the phone, never text back on time and the groomer never comes down to meet the customers so you never see who’s actually grooming the dog yourself. Another big complaint is you have to leave your dog with his assistant in the lobby of the building until he’s ready for you to come back and pick them up which is worry some at times since you don’t know the condition of the work place and how the dogs are being treated while in there. They also don’t even tell you which apartment or floor they work in. So if you come for pick up and they decide not to answer their phone or text back when you’re down stairs you’re out of luck and have to wait for however long that is. This has happened to me once out of the 4 times I’ve been here and I notice it has happened to other people in the reviews. If they’d work on these problems, it’d be 4-5 stars.

He is a amazing person & Groomer. He takes his job & love for these Furbabies to the next level. Amazing hair styles and my 2 babies look amazing when I pick them up. He is truly amazing. Prices are reasonable, always on time and always great communication and friendly. If you want & need an amazing Groomer, definitely call KingSpa NYC.

The Best! Ive been grooming my baby Dakota since she was a puppy and I can honestly say, this was the best experience her and I both had. He listened to detail and did exactly what I asked! Very professional! So happy I found him. He is now her go to groomer and looking forward for years to come!

I had a great experience with my dog Bear. We had a couple decent groomers but nothing like it there and KingSpa, I thought he was a different dog the moment I saw him. His haircut was beyond words can imagine, not only that but he was happy and loving his new do. I would recommend KingSpa to anybody that wants your dog treated like royalty. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

They were very accommodating to me as a new client. Was searching for a new groomer for a while and saw the work that they do on Instagram and fell in love with their style! My coco came out looking like a new woman! Her hair was even and she smelled amazing. I’m very glad I found them and they have a new regular on their hands.

I took my 2 dog babies, one who had severe matting to King Spa for grooming. My babies never been groomed away from home and my anxiety was running high I just wanted to be sure they were going to be ok. I left them at King Spa needing to be groomed and they did that. I am impressed with the way my babies was handled and cared for, they look better than ever and now they both can have the confidence they need in their daily life.

In all the years I’ve had a dog, Yashua is hands down the best groomer I’ve had ever. Convenient location, great pricing, timely (pickup and drop off), all around perfect! He’s officially my puppy’s groomer. She’s gone twice and I haven’t been disappointed yet.

I took my 5 month old puppy for her first groom and I was a bit nervous at first.. My puppy can be a bit timid and scared with new situations but I can tell Yashua made her feel super comfortable and safe. Not only that but she looks super cute, smells amazing and is very well trimmed !! I will most definitely be bringing her back periodically.

First time I took my baby Max and I loved it! Professional and friendly, this will be my permanent groomer. I love that you could make an appointment, I previously used to go to Petco but they’re never reliable with their time. I would definitely recommend my friends to come here

First time getting my dog groomed and I couldn’t of had a better experience, had a good energy and my pup had no problem going with him, then we got to watch him live on instagram with the one thing we were worried about which was the blow drying and of course he did that absolutely flawlessly. Dec 28th I had an appointment, I arrived 15min early, I called and sent messages to receive my puppy and I did not receive an answer. after half an hour waiting I had to leave without answers. I requested my deposit back . Instead I asked him if he could make another appointment . I still havent received the deposit or appointment is not Jan. 1st.poor communication!

I took coco for his first haircut. They told me right away he will be extra for his fur being matted. Overall, he smelled amazing and was good experience. Will be going back!

Yashua came to my home ready to work. My dog pumpkin greeted him with open paws. He set up his equipment on the porch and took Pumpkin to the bathroom to wash her. She doesnt like to get bathed which makes her very restless but Yashua was able to get it done. In the end, Pumpkin had a nice new hair cut and smelled great. Yashua also gave me some tips on great tools to use to help decrease the amount of shedding. This was a great experience and I will be sure to use his services again.

Yashua did a wonderful job on my dog Annii. I’m getting a lot of compliments when I take her for a walk. Annii is part Pomeranian/Chihuahua and difficult to cut, but Yashua did not disappoint me nor Annii. She looks Marvelous lol.

This business fell off in a short time will not be coming back THEY REQUIRE A $20 deposit to call you last minute to reschedule very unprofessional and extremely inconsiderate. They need better coordination.

This review has certainly been long over due, back in 2018 I started using Kingspa for my two older dogs one with diabetes(yorkie), which meant she frequently used the bathroom, and one who is blind (Maltese) and my now big puppy boy a Bernese mountain dog. He has handled all my fur babies with such grace.All of my dogs are so different, but he knows how treat their coats and skin accordingly.They always come out looking and smelling great, I can tell he uses top of the line products because two of my boys have very sensitive skin and since bringing them to him they no longer break out ! I have recommended him to my friends and family and everyone is satisfied

This was my first time getting my puppy groomed and I’m very satisfied i was scared to see the outcome cause my dog previously got his mouth and legs shaved off by his vet due to him getting sick so it had his hair looking uneven and unflattering i told him my concerns and he completely transformed his hair he looks so good now I’m so happy i can finally grow out his hair evenly thank you so much i will continue to get my puppy groomed by him

My dog is a baby . First time I took him there they told me they couldn’t cut him cause he’s a baby so all they did was blow him out . 2nd time they told me they couldn’t do THEIR job cause he was crying . Ridiculous

Absolutely amazing experience with my old lady (12 year old Maltese, 7lbs), I contacted KingSpa last minute for a light grooming/bath for my girl and he gladly took her. Any time i take her grooming she’s super nervous and shaky, I was so glad to see her come back happy and smiling. Communication was great and easy, service was fast as she didn’t need too much done, and he was super friendly. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

The communication was great! My Pomeranian has never looked as beautiful as he does today after his wash and groom! The smell his fur has is amazing, the fur feels so soft.
