Veterans Grove

It’s clean but the only thing that concerns me is that there are a lot of homeless people sleeping in the benches. When you walk with your children around them is a little uncomfortable.

Beautiful and clean playground for kids...

Very large spacious park. Theres a school across the street and theres children all about after school. There are so many trees and sunlight which makes the park bright and light. There are benches all around and there are times when people sell snacks or ice cream.

I love this place because during the pandamic this is the first place we were being able to come. My girls enjoy playing here. And i meet my community people , also many other community people.

VG -triangular park serves a very densely populated area. A lot of us,our kids spent time here.Sorry to say it is very very poorly maintained.We all have to bear a shared responsibility, the users & the maintenance-team.On top the cleaners/officials are not doing the job they are supposed to do. We dont know why.The supervisors ,need to do more to get it done.Definitely lapses are there.Our request to City authority please do some thing to keep the park /the groove up to standard of USA.

This park seems much nicer after the reno and accommodates more people, with a side for pets only. I wish city Dept would put permanent tables again, for people to eat outside in good weather, once this pandemic is over.

UPDATE: Park CLOSED for renovation until Spring of 2018.--------------OLD REVIEW: A somewhat small park that weve nicknamed Triangle Park.The soft-surface playground has a straight and spiral metal slide, two sets of monkey bars, and various platforms to climb. Theres one water fountain, plenty of wooden benches, a small dog run area, and a dirt patch on the north side that kids often use for playing soccer or just digging holes. The huge old oak-like trees scattered about keep it shaded in summer and pretty in the fall.

Excellent playground and very clean...

Nice playground!!!But there were some intoxicated people around in the weekend.Also there is always some people selling toys, lollipops and icecream inside the playground which is very distracting for the little ones!!!!

Dog Park: It’s a very small dog run area. There is plenty of respectful dog owners. There is a water fountain for the dogs and four benches for dog owners.

The kids are always happy here.

Beware!! there is a white aggresive mean lady on a wheel chair and a spanish looking lady with two dogs a black and small white one who supposly runs and owns the park just because they volunteers there.. So if by mistake your child throws the ball inside the fence ...she will literally scream at him and use a strong bad language asking him to DO NOT PASS THERE!! Mostly that white lady has a harash strong language ... she screams at kids and has no respect she is even races ... she even told a parent *I am a American unlike you* ... i mean if she volunteers for the park .. shouldnt she have more respect instead of cursing at parents and children and talking to them like that ..... and for going over the fence.. next time there should be a sign ** saying no tresspassing ... disgusting lady I swear...

This park has a dog run, jungle gym, sprinklers to cool off in the Summer & plenty of benches. .... JM.

Sometimes its a little bit dirty but in summer and spring is a good place to play with your kids

Dog run is like a tiny concrete triangle. Barely any room for dogs to even run, not worth taking your dog to.

Took my granddaughter to this park . It was clean everyone was respectful and the children played and enjoyed themselves

No maintenance. Nobody cleans snow. Be careful if you see snow inside

Close to home but it gets crowded. Big kids and adults go unsupervised and could pose an issue for small kids.

A local park in Elmhuest Queens. Recently renovated, but overused.

It is true that we are in summer but the water in the sprinkles is cold, they should leave the water a little more in the environment, hence the park is very nice for children and there is a space for dogs too

It is a nice park for children, it is clean and has many childrens games, in summer they put water for the children to play there

At first it was a very nice park, now the part where the dogs play is very dirty, full of excrement and smells very bad and lately there are a lot of drunks in the chairs, I dont feel safe taking my son, how sad 😥

It is a small park in Elmhurst which is almost always clean, there are games for children and in the hot season there is how to take them for a small water game, very good for the fun of the children.

It is a great place to entertain children.
