I’ve been here a few times now and have nothing but great things to say. The employees are friendly and listened/delivered when I asked for a specific kind of cut for my Bernedoodle. My boy comes out looking like the most dapper young lad out there. Also helps that he is happy and comfortable with the staff. 10/10 recommend!

This is a long overdue review. I am writing this review to express my thoughts about experiencing the best grooming experience that my dog (my baby) has ever received. I am the dog mommy of a Wheaten Terrier and the Wheaten Terrier boasts a soft-coated single coat, characterized by its non-shedding and lack of a double layer. However, this breed demands regular grooming from a proficient groomer to stave off matting, as its long, wavy hair grows continuously and is prone to tangling without proper care. Thus, securing a skilled groomer becomes essential for ensuring the health and comfort of their coat.. I also have a wheatie that thinks she is Portuguese Water Dog Because she loves being in a pool, the rain, the snow and the colder the weather the happier she is! Dog enthusiasts often find themselves at a loss for words when it comes to expressing the deep affection they hold for their beloved canine companions. Mark Levin embodies this love in its most perfect form. He informed his publishers that he would agree to publish Men in Black only if he could also release Rescuing Sprite (A Dog Lovers Story of Joy and Anguish). I find these emotions resonate with my own experiences. Throughout the years, I have taken my baby to various groomers, a necessity born from my frequent relocations. I have had a few terrible experiences as this is my 3rd Wheatie. As a newcomer to the Bellmore area, I received a recommendation for “Bubbles and Bones” from someone on the app Next Door. The results brought me immense joy. When I arrived for pickup, my little girl was absolutely flawless! Her haircut was flawlessly even, a perfect circle framing her face, and she exuded a delightful fragrance. Most significantly, as I placed her in the car, her demeanor radiated joy, a tail wagging with unrestrained delight, embodying the essence of a carefree pup! Bubbles and Bones have gained a loyal client for life. Thanks guys!!

Bad experience at this groomer twice. They never answer the phone and don’t listen to anything you tell them. I picked up my Golden retriever today and he was scalped. The worst grooming I’ve ever seen, a complete hack job. They didn’t listen to what I wanted trimmed, and I came home to find his paws still furry between the toes, his chest fur completely cut, and his ears shaved down to the skin. My husband picked him up and if it was me, I would not have paid. Won’t be coming back.

First time customer to Bubbles N Bones gave specific instructions to not cut my Bernedoodle to short!!! Supplied photos of how I wanted my pup groomed, what I got back was a shaved down puppy who looks like a freak!!! They said he was matted but I brush him twice a day and if that was the case before you do something a customer specifically asked you not to do, then you should have called them and given them a choice if they wanted to move forward with the grooming, instead you took it upon yourself to shave him down and go against what your customer asked for!!! Shame on you and now I just want to cry every time I look at him. I will not be taking my pup here ever again and in fact never to another groomer ever! Just a horrible experience 😡

As a newcomer to the area, I was in search of a top-notch dog grooming establishment. I must say, I am absolutely delighted that I followed the recommendations of a number of people on the NextDoor Platform! I’m giving Bubbles and Bones a full 5-star rating.From the moment I stepped foot inside, a sense of calm came over me.I was greeted by Rona who was patient and kind. She discussed the specifics and took my Mazie in the back.When I arrived to pick her up, she came out with a wagging tail, looking absolutely fantastic. I have no idea what kind of shampoo they used on her, but she smelled absolutely wonderful! They did a fantastic job! Bubbles and Bones is our new groomer. Their prices are very fair and they provided me with excellent customer service!!

I love this place! I’ve been bringing my Shihtzu here for past 8 months. my shihtzu is finicky and shy. She always runs in and looks fluffy & beautiful when she leaves. The place is fairly busy and the staff is always amazing !!Highly recommend ❤️

We have been going to this groomer for about 6 months now and they usually do a good job. Today was very disappointing, when we took off his bandana his whole front is blue from the dye. He also have patches on his neck that seems to have areas of dried blood because they cut him so deep. There is a lof of areas that have very deep patches on his body. This was very tramatizing for the kids to see and we would not be coming back here.

Rona and her staff are very calming and kind. Two minutes after my very nervous dog walks in, with a kind word and gentle touch from her, his shaking ceases and he feels at home. She listens to your concerns and requests and the dog is always well groomed and receives a finishing touch stylish bandana. Appointments are given reasonably and my dog is always ready in a reasonable amount of time. Rona is a straight forward, honest animal lover and I trust her with my pet always.

Great service, and listen to how you want your dog groomed. Very patient with my dog, who was rejected from a different salon because she would bite them. Dog walks in and is happy to see them.

Bubbles and Bones did a wonderful job grooming our two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Samoa and Fig Newton. It was their first time being groomed there and we will definitely be back.

Luciano hasn’t looked as wonderful, clean and cut beautifully until we went to Bubbles and Bones. He looks fantastic and came home happy playing and running around. His teeth are sparking 🫧🥰🦴

We have a very hyper goldendoodle , Stephanie is very patient with her and always does a great job with our baby. Would highly recommend them.

Really bad experience with this groomer, not once but twice! Sad to think there behavior is acceptable! Dont go there!

Had to find a new groomer for my two huskies and after searching through many reviews decided on Bubbles-n-Bones to defur my babies. They did a wonderful job, were fairly priced and followed through on all promises. The groomer Dana clearly loves animals and I felt very comfortable leaving my pups in her hands.

Unfortunately, after using this place for years, we will not be returning. My dog left there with an obvious cut on his face that looked like the groomer used too sharp of a blade (which was admitted by the owner) and went down to his skin. The owner took ownership yet the groomer said it was a rash. How is it possible for it to be a rash when you can visibly tell that area is shorter than the others making it seem like she knew she messed up. The groomers name was Flora (or something like that) and do not recommend her at all. For me to come home and find my dog like that is unacceptable and unprofessional. Accidents happen but take responsibility for your actions and notify the pets owners BEFORE leaving and paying (especially tipping). I will not be recommending this place to anyone and am very disappointed in their actions.

I could not be happier with the service at Bubbles n Bones! Stephanie took such great care of my pup Lucy and Lucy was clearly in love with her! She trimmed and primped Lucy and even put a cute little bow on her! If you are looking for a great groomer with amazing service I highly recommend Rona & her staff at Bubbles and Bones! We will definitely be back!!

NEVER and I repeat NEVER bring your dog here. I never write reviews but this one needs to be said…. The first time I was here everyone was so welcoming and nice. My pup had to wait an extra amount of time for her next haircut because after her first grooming here, she developed a bad ear infection. I brought her back and when I received the call to pick her up, I was not informed of the new price. I only brought the cash of the price I was ORIGINALLY told…PLUS a tip. When I went in to pick her up they were EXTREMELY rude. Telling me the price went up for this appointment. She then was giving me very rude remarks saying she “doesn’t care how much cash I had and that the amount was the set amount”. (I am always the person who gives the correct price as well as give a good tip.) This is NOT how you treat a customer. Now I know why I’ve heard such negative things about this place. They are RUDE and do NOT know how to treat their customers. Also my pup was crying when she got out. There is NO excuse for this aggressive, awful behavior.

Jamie did an amazing job grooming my Persian cat. She never looks so good.! I recommend him to anyone who has a cat

The only reason I’m giving them 3 stars is because they did a good job cutting my pups nails. My dog Rex is a very excited, nervous, anxious dog. He is from NSAL’s Shelter and I was told he was abandoned/abused. When we go to the vet or the groomers, he becomes extremely scared. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO THIS GROOMER IF THEY GET ANXIETY ABOUT THE GROOMERS!! I usually get them cut at the vet for free, or at another near by groomer for $10. They charged me $20 because he was difficult... and their normal charge is $15!What dog isn’t difficult about going to the groomers??? They were not considerate of how nervous he was, and they were not considerate to me about the over charge as I’m a college student!!! And it gets better... after letting me know there was an additional charge, I realized they do not take debit or credit cards, and they do not have an ATM.I don’t care about the extra charge because it’s obvious they over charge in general for their services. It just really upset me that they weren’t sensitive at all to my nervous pup. If your dog is anxious about getting their nails cut, I recommend checking out some other places or bring them to the vet! :)

As the owner of a business myself (MJ Beanz Toys in Plainview-a little plug there LOL) when I see reviews about businesses I felt are unfair I feel I should respond with my experiences. Ive been going to Rona as my groomer from long before she owned this place. My dog Shorty loved her and would go crazy when he saw her. When he was sick she was so kind to him and and comforting when he went for what we never knew would be his last groom or not. Hes since passed. Having two cats (long story) she cuts their nails for them when I remember to bring them in. Shes always careful and affectionate to them though sometimes they seem intent on killing her. When I saw a review saying she wasnt sensitive to a dogs needs, thats simply not true. As a business owner I know sometimes you run into customers who no matter what you do will not be happy with you. Both Rona and her staff have never been anything but helpful, kind and sweet to my animals.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rona the owner of Bubbles -n- Bones dog grooming facility today. They offer a professional dog washing station which is open to the public within her dog grooming business. The fee was $25 dollars for the use of the station for 1/2 hour. I called the shop before I went there to see what was included and if I needed to bring anything with me to assist in giving my 65lb Golden retriever Baci a bath. On the phone she informed me that they would provide everything needed for the bath. Their is only one station available in the shop for the DIYer, so she recommended that I should call first before heading over to insure it would available when I arrived. When I arrived I was greated by Rona who answered a few more questions about the time limit and any overtime fees if any. She told me that 1/2 hr is usually sufficient for most people that have used it in the past, but a $7 charge would be added for every 15 minuets over the 1/2 hr initial fee. Being though it was my first time Rona went over in complete detail on how the equipment/ station worked. I found not only is 1/2 hr a sufficient amount of time to wash the family pet, but that the setup wash station as well as the drying area to work are very convenient and easy to use. I will definitely use her establishment again!!1/25/2019

I have been to many different groomers and nobody had seem to get it right, until now! We have finally found our groomer! Felt very comfortable leaving my little guy with them! Extremely satisfied!! Awesome, friendly owner & staff! Thank you!

I think they are great i used to bring my 17yrold poodle there and they were gentle with him. Now i brought my 5 month old puppy there and he came out looking great. I trust them and knew my baby would be safe there.

I have brought my dog here two times in the past, it was a nice experience, but today, I was shocked to hear my dog being screamed at from the back area when I went to pick him up. From what I could tell, he was distressed, barking/whining, and was being yelled at for it. This was not how I expected my dog to be treated.I will not be returning.

The best place. I do self wash every month and get his nails done. They offer privacy in their one appointed self wash room. I love it! And professionalism

My Cocker Spaniel has a terrible time with groomers, they are awsome here always letting me carry her in and stand at the grooming table with her, and the way they harness her back and front makes her comfortable and calm, they really take the time to care for your pets and love them equally, I recommend Bubbles and Boned highly.

I used the self wash. No one showed me how anything works. There wasnt an apron for me (to stay dry).I had to ask for towels 4 times, over a span of 30 minutes - B4 finally getting them. And the room/ tub was not clean. This was the second time I went to this grooming facility, the last time I asked them to dremmel my Labs nails. They made him bleed so bad I had to go to ER with him. NEVER AGAIN.

Nice place. Take our dog there monthly. They treat him with great care.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Rona and her staff at Bubbles-N-Bones. Rona has been taking care of our Lola Lady for many years and now has the pleasure of grooming our grand-dog Oliver too. My daughter drives all the way from East Northport because she loves the service she gets from Rona and her staff. Everyone who works at the salon is very professional and talented and do a fantastic job grooming our puppies. They treat the dogs so well and you can see that they actually care about them and above all they love what they do. The salon is cute, clean and I feel confident that our dogs will be safe while at the spa for the day. I would highly recommend this business to everyone. It’s a pleasure to know Rona. She is part of our family.

I currently have 3 different dogs with totally different hair. I heard about this place from a friend and said why not, ill give them a shot since my last grooming experience was terrible. I have a 120lbs english boxhead lab that mattes very easily and sheds insane all year long. So ill start with her haha. I dropped her off and picked her up a few hours later. Holy cow what a transformation. She looked amazing and was very happy. I WILL definitely be bringing the 2 others in soon and be recommending them to everyone I see with a dog! Phenomenal job
