Tully Dog Park

This place is great it is clean, and roomy. It has astro turf and sand area for dogs to play in. Garbage is nearby for disposal of dog wastes, water shu off as early as other parks due to seasons.The dogs and their owners are friendly and owners are attentive to their dogs actions.Edit: August 2023The water in the fountain was turned on, but the water is boiling hot during mid day.Watch out for a mother and son pair, they have an aggressive dog, and will insist on staying in the park while their dog IS leashed but the dog will actively trying to run to your dog and and tries to bite your dog. Her son struggles pulling the dog back. It is a time bomb waiting to happen. You need to be super attentive, they will come in and their dog will start running towards your dog without warning. It happened multiple times and almost every time I see the pair.

I love the park itself, Ive been there quite a few times but this past time I went with my dogs there was a very very disrespectful woman there who was trying my patience the whole time I was there. She kept calling my dogs aggressive when she doesnt know them, never met them before and her dog hasnt interacted with mine so I just found that to be ridiculous. Other than that the park is beautiful.

Clean nice place to bring your dog or dogs

Great spot for off-leash fun. Water and bags provided. Sports park with restrooms and big parking lot. Lots of great dogs and their humans! Open til 830 during the winter months

This is a nice dog park with a small vs big dog side. Each side has a section covered with turf and another section covered with pea gravel. The dogs that come here are well behaved. Theres a water fountain in the dog area and the area is well kept and maintained.

Our dog Mira absolutely loves the park. She has so much space to run, chase after tennis balls, and try the mini obstacle course. She has fun with other dogs as long as they know how to play as well.

I used the tennis courts, not the dog park. The courts are beautiful. And there werent a lot of people out playing at the time (2-4PM), so getting a court was easy. It also has very nice pickleball courts.

Long Island Golden Retrievers Facebook group often organizes meetups on Sunday mornings at 10! Water fountains have been repaired! Plenty of tennis balls 🎾 that fido can play with. Large dogs and small dogs are separated.

Dogs are friendly. Its an okay size 👍 , could be a bit bigger. Water fountain wasnt working. Theres only two benches for people to sit.

Great community of dog lovers. ½ Astro turf and ½ pebbles. My dogs prefer the turf and avoid the pea gravel. The park is a little difficult to find. Its part of a larger park with pickleball, tennis, handball, basketball and baseball. As well as a track and soccer field.

For the dog park section of the park, theres a turf section and a gravel section. Theres also some other things that dogs can jump in, through or on.

Everyone was very pleasant as the dogs interacted with each other. A very welcoming and fun environment for the pups

I dont think the people that designed this dog park ever actually owned a dog. The ground is made up of AstroTurf and gravel. There absolutely no shade. Waste of N. Hempstead taxpayer money. Only plus is that theres a water fountain.

Awesome park, I go here with my dog every time we’re in Long Island, they just did some renovation to make it more accessible.

Nice dog park located all the way at the back of the park. There is a separate section for small & larger dogs. The people are great about checking their dogs behavior and are friendly, overall. On the other hand, the water fountains seem to never work & I dont know they ever clean the turf & the big dogs side tends to smell from the waste bags piling up. It would be great if they expanded the dog park, especially the small dog side, considering how busy it can get and the unoccupied empty space outside of it.

Cute dog park, 2 sides - one for dogs under 30 lbs, larger dogs on the other side. Dog parents were friendly and were careful to mind their dogs, very respectful and careful

Great place to bring your dog. You have an area for large dogs and one for small dogs. Both areas are spacious and have a water fountain in case your pet gets thirsty. There are extra bowls and toys for your pets enjoyment - and benches for you to sit on. Only downside - no real shaded area on very hot summer days.

Nice, open park to take walks, jog on tracks. Pleasant environment. Ample parking lot.

Great park, I grew up comming here, the facility is pretty good for a Town operated park. They allow dogs and have to different dog parks depending on your dogs size. Tennis court are in good shape as well as the paddle ball and basketball courts. The only negative if you consider it a negative is there a lot of duck poop. If you have kids, keep a look out.

This dog park is quite spacious and has two sides: small dog and large dog sections. You can find dog toys, bowls for water, fountains, and even dog poo bags for your use. The entrance is a two gate system to ensure even the most talented escape artists cant get outI enjoy this park quite a bit and the dogs are generally quite friendly here

A nice usually quiet spot to enjoy, the people that work here are super nice and polite and they have water for the dogs.

One of the first times I got out of the house since moving to New York and Im so glad it was here. Its extremely clean, the people who come here are friendly and respectful, the park is big, woth large fields that you can walk around. Theres a track, and even a dog park. There are playgrounds, but I didnt pay much attention to them. Its bustling with life and is a wonderful place to just people watch and not feel so isolated. Would recommend.

Great doggy park, came here with my Cavalier and she’s pretty tiny so it’s great that they have separate areas for small dogs and bigger dogs. Everyone including the dogs was super nice. The toys, poopy bags, and agility course were great too! Overall amazing experience, my pupper loved it!

Our pup loves coming here! Shes small and stays in the smaller section. Weve had a few weird encounters with people bringing bigger dogs over to the small section but they are few and far between. The owners on the big dog side give off weird vibes and Ive heard of some dog fights breaking out but never had any issues on the smaller side. Owners seem much more attentive.

My puppy Fido loves this Dog Park! Always running around and playing with all the happy doggies.Super clean and busy!Except this one time where my pup got bit by this bully breed dog, but other then that everything has been good!

Not to easy to get to if youve never been there before. The park is in the back right corner of the park when facing it from the parking lot, left if the back of the football field and track.Very pleasant experience. Trash bags for poop pickup, garbage pale and water fountain are provided.The park itself is half astroturf and half small stones. Very pretty and safe.

Excellent setup for both big and small dogs, separate enclosures with plenty of space. Its well maintained.

The dog park was hard to find, it is way in the back behind the tennis courts, no signs directing you to it. When we did find it, it was closed bc of a sink hole. We were happy we could walk the dogs on leashes at least and there were old cars there setting up for drag races!

Love love love it! So nice to have a clean, large, side place for my dog to play. They have two sections - one for the small dogs and one for the big ones. They supply poopie bags and some play things for the dogs.We go every chance we get!

Finally a dog park in the area. Unfortunately the dog water fountain part didn’t work but you can use the “human” part to fill the dog bowl. Plenty of space for pups to run around and play.

Way to small. My dog needs to run . Turf and pebbles are not great for running fast. Water didn’t work . Eisenhower Park Is much better for dogs who want to have fun.

Amazing clean dog park. Residents/dog owners are also very courteous. There’s an area for big and small dogs.

Love this park only been here three times but I felt so welcome by dogs and specially owners are very friendly the park is clean and they have bathrooms if you ever have an emergency 🐾

I just started going here and it’s a beautiful dog park. It’s so clean and their is poppy bags as well. My puppy has an amazing time here.

I love this dog park, friendly dogs of all sizes. It is a turf park so no mud! Wahoo! Always kept very clean.

What a wonderful place to bring your dog!..the dog park is enclosed and theres a drinking fountain inside (they turn it off for the winter so bring your own bottle)..my dog loves it here..

Dogs are aggressive... owners clueless..my daughters dog usually goes to bklyn dog parks where owners are conscientious of their dogs correct behavior.....sad

I like because many amenities for adults and kids but specifically the dog park mmm I don’t like , is better the eisenberg park in Westbury

It is a big park, I would like to see a small dog park and big dog park. More garbage cans. Otherwise it is a nice park.

Park looks nice. Unfortunately it’s is closed and deemed unsafe for anyone to walk in the park due to a sink hole. Closed until further notice
