Pictures speak louder than words. We love Kate & wont go anywhere else. I used to live down the street, and now drive in from Manhattan, just for Kate. Only the best for the Prince.

On time, great people for our little man Stanley, she cleaned and groomed him to perfection and will be used for the rest of our dogs life !!!! They were life savers! Fair price for the quality of grooming services. I can not thank you enough !!!! Look forward to next time !!Russ Arnold

This was our 1st visit there. They are very busy and I had to wait 1 week for an appointment, however, it was well worth the wait.We are very happy with the final result of our cockapoo. Although, his fur was matted, they did not simply shave him down to the skin. Kate took the time and turned him into cute and manageable fluffball.They called me to let me know it was going to take longer because my munchkin didnt like the blow dryer..and they did not want to stress him (very sweet of them!!!)The fact that my dog did not have any loose hairs hanging on, and did not smell like cheap perfume, as Ive experienced with other groomers, was another Positive for me.I highly recommend this Kates Hair Of The Dog. It is clean, you can see your dog, observe the work and interactions in the grooming area and your dog will look adorable.Our other dog will be Kates next client.

They are great here. Our dog Plato always comes back feeling chipper and looking great, they have really helped cut his shedding issues (Pugs are shedders unfortunately!!!) so we love them for this! Thanks guys.

My dog and Kates shop are almost the same age. We were one of the earliest clients, when he was just a baby. 3 years and 2 moves later and I bring him back from NYC just to see Kate and be groomed here! Well never go anywhere else.We came originally because she advertised specializing in anxious dogs. My pup definitely is, but they do such a good job he will willingly walk through that door time after time. Not eagerly, but still of his own volition. That speaks volumes about the treatment he gets inside.They use their judgement each time on what the dog can handle - some days they clip his nails, some days hes extra tolerant and they can buff them too. Some days he cant handle the blow dryer and thats okay! They always explain what was/wasnt done and that it was for the benefit of my anxious pup.I love this shop and recommend it to everybody I know. Theyre so busy now, compared to the early days, I have to try and call a couple weeks ahead to book, but it will always be worth it.

Kate is wonderful. She is great with my dogs. She gives my Airedale Dakota a beautiful grooming every time. People stop me when I walk her and actually tell me what a beautiful dog I have. Thanks to Kate!! She also trims my bulldog nails and doesn’t charge me because she groom Dakota. She is truly a beautiful person. I highly recommend her!!

Late and her staff are very caring, We have 3 different breeds and all their cuts are tailored to each Dog. They all look beautiful. Her staff are friendly,caring and professional.I highly recommend them.

Great place. They really do a great job. They only problem is theyve been discovered due to their great work .So you need to make an appointment two weeks before you need your best buddy groom.

Fantastic groomers! Very accommodating and do a great job on my 2 dogs. I have tried many groomers in the Northport/Huntington area and they are by far the best that Ive used.

Kate and staff are great! Eleanor (my labradoodle) loves them and they always do a great job! Highly recommend giving them a shot.

I called to ask about their mobile grooming services. It is a full day later and I have not received a return phone call.

Kate and her team are absolutely wonderful with my dog. Until we found Kate, he didn’t like getting groomed now he loves it.
