Best pet sitters you can get for your fur babies! We went away for over 10 days and decided to do “Premium-overnight” and had her stay at our home since one of our dogs gets anxious in new places. We could not have been happier with our choice and could not have asked for better care for our 3 dogs. Kelly gave us updates and sent us pictures of them 3 times a day. Our babies absolutely loved her and we were able to enjoy our vacation without any worries!

When you cant be home for your fur-babies, its nice to know you can still have piece of mind, thanks to Long Island Pet Nanny. Whether its to feed Zoey twice a day or to just stop by and play, its a great feeling to know both sitter Jen and little Zoey look forward to these meetings. My cat Lezlie and I had a great experience with Long Island Pet Nanny! They set up a meet and greet so we could get to know the team lead and our pet sitter, Christopher. Christopher visited Lezlie morning and night for a weekend while I was away and it was such a peace of mind. He sent me a message and picture of Lezlie when he arrived and then sent a full report after his visit with details of feeding and her activities and many more cute pictures! My experience with Kelly was incredible, I travel often and have a hard time finding a pet nanny to care for my dogs as they need walks and medicine. My two dogs are not comfortable with strangers and by the end of a 2 week schedule with Kelly they seems more excited to see her than me! (When I returned home) Kelly kept me fully informed on how they were with pictures attached throughout my travel and made it 100% stress free. Thank you again!

Long Island Pet Nanny is the most amazing pet service! My dog (Alfred) is a rescue who was rescued at 1.5 years. Since Kelly at Long Island Pet Nanny has started walking him daily (for a little over a year), he is so much happier and friendly with everyone around him (rather than cowering away). I think she loves my dog as much as I do. She goes above and beyond every single day. She sends the most wonderful updates with pictures every single day. Kelly and Alfred have their special routine and bond. She gives him all the good treats and he looks forward to his walks every day. She has socialized him wonderfully with local neighbors and their dogs. Alfred is always safe, happy, and well taken care of when he is with Kelly (or Kat!). I cant recommend them enough. I am always happy to be a reference for them and I recommend them to all of my neighbors.Also - Tara once watched my sisters difficult dog who was so happy and well taken care of for a week. The dog was safe and the daily check ins gave my sister peace of mind.

We had an extremely positive experience with LI Pet Nanny. This was the first time we left our beagle with someone other than family. Kat was absolutely fantastic. She kept us posted with photos as she shared her lovely loving home with our precious beagle. We would definitely use them again and feel more comfortable that we can travel and our beagle will be loved and well taken care of.

We had Steph from LI Pet Nanny watch our two dogs on our wedding day. We chose the almost overnight package which was a 2 hour visit in the evening (6-8pm) and then an hour visit the next morning. Both visits included play time, some walking, potty, feeding, treats and cuddles. Steph was so awesome and gave us a lovely detailed report (with pictures) after each visit! She came over prior to the day to meet them and they got along wonderfully. She has a lot of experience in the field and we felt so safe and confident to let her come to our house to take care of our babies! We used a lock box with a key and communication was seamless. Would highly recommend and will definitely use them again in the future!!

Kat was the absolute best, I’m so glad I have someone who can take care of my 16 year old baby. Her attention to detail is amazing, sent me constant updates and truly felt like she cared for my dog as if it was one of her own. I’ve used Long Island Pet Nanny multiple times. They are wonderful people and take excellent care of my dogs. They show up on time and actively pay attention to my pets. I receive pictures and updates each time they come. I am very comfortable leaving my dogs under their care. They have multiple options for times and length of stay. Their prices are reasonable. How nice it is that even though I get stressed out incredibly when I have to leave my babies when we go away, I have peace of mind knowing that all the pet sitters from Long Island Pet Nanny will take care of them almost as well as I do.The pictures and texts from every drop in are very reassuring, as well as knowing they have a vet on standby if God forbid, anything should happen. AMAZING pet sitting service. If I could give more stars I would. They met all of our wishes and then some for our new puppy!! We only trusted our past pup with our parents and close friends, so to drop our new pup off with strangers - especially under 4 months old was so nerve wracking for us! So thankful for posts on fb suggesting them - and happy we chose them instead of other services. Tara and anyone else who helped sent us SO many pictures, videos and updates - and were able to socialize our baby if and when we wanted to! I truly believe he was loved and cared for, just as much as we love him and know the next time we need someone that they will be the first we call! They even have pet drop off services where she brought him right in our house and put him in his crate so he was home when we arrived. They played with him all morning so when we got home a couple of hours after drop off, after our hello licks, he fell right back asleep so we could unpack. Thanks LI pet nanny!

I am so happy we found Long Island Pet Nanny! From the moment we met Kelly, she was absolutely amazing. You could tell she really loves animals and went above and beyond with each visit. I loved how detailed her messages were and all the pictures she provided. I was stressed leaving my dog Brooklyn but she really put my mind at ease and I knew she was in good hands. Long Island pet nanny has been amazing I am so happy we found them. We have used them for boarding as well as home visits while we are at work for our 2 pitties and they give them soo much love. We did boarding with Tara & it lets you enjoy your time away without worrying about how your furry babies are doing because you get daily updates and pictures and know they’re in a happy and fun environment as opposed to a traditional boarding facility. I think they had more fun while they were there than we do at home! Terri has been amazing as well for daily visits, she is so good with our babies and gives the best updates, I look forward to reading them and seeing the pictures after every visit and know they are well taken care of while we are working all day. We have trusted Long Island Pet Nanny with the care of our elderly chicken, Wanderer, several times. As well, they take care of filling our wild bird feeders...we have several! Patty has been our Pet Nanny three times within the past year. Two of those times, we were away for a week.Patty is amazing! I cant say enough good things. She lets Wanderer out for yard time, gives her treats that we provide and makes sure our wild birds are taken care of. I feel confident that Wanderer is in the best hands and I look forward to the daily reports. It is such a relief to have discovered a service where Wanderer receives the same attention I provide. Weve been very happy working with Long Island Pet Nanny! They take great care of our dog and send updates during each visit with pictures, which is so fun to see. We mostly have used them for walks/visits while at work, but theyve been wonderful in accommodating last minute requests on both weekdays and weekends. Weve been working with Long Island Pet Nanny for a little over a year and they have been fantastic! We have taken advantages of many services offered such as dog walks (two mid-sized dogs), a wedding transport and an overnight stay. Working with Long Island Pet Nanny was such a breeze, and every employee I interacted with was friendly, reassuring, and professional. We were nervous to leave our anxious dog with a stranger, but felt much better knowing that every sitter is required to have a fenced in yard and they only host one pet (or family of pets) at a time. My flight was delayed one evening and they reached out to me to make sure I had made it home. I left my dog and puppy at my home with Dan for a week and was beyond happy with the stay. We needed someone here since my puppy was still in training. I was sent pics every day and texted with as well with their daily routine and how it was all going. I am already set to use them again.

Tara and her team have tremendous experience working with various pets. They can watch over and work with pets who have behavioral issues as well as provide medication for pets with chronic illnesses. We tried three other companies before Long Island Pet Nanny and none of them could handle my two Cane Corsos. Tara always shows up when she says she will and if theres a challenge she communicates in advance so you are never left wondering. She is caring and attentive when watching your animals and even provide updates and pictures via text so you can rest assured your fur babies are being cared for. I cannot say enough good things about Tara and her team at Long Island Pet Nanny.

Tara has been our pet sitter for many years. We are so fortunate that she came highly recommended to us. Our dog was not a candidate for boarding & without Tara we could never travel. We know that when we are away our girl gets the best care possible, we love getting pictures of her and reports on how she is doing. We completely trust Tara in our home & highly recommend her. We recently met with another member of her team, for an upcoming trip, and know that we will be pleased.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. From the initial first conversations to pick up on the day we came home, Tara was wonderful. A great experience. During our meet & greet Tara the owner, was very thorough in explaining everything: how she cares for the dogs, where they’ll play, sleep, relax, etc. She gave us a tour of the property which was impressive. One of our dogs is reactive to other pups so she made sure he wasn’t around the other dogs (which were her own pups) because she only boards one client at a time which I love. She’s great with communication! She sends you multiple updates during the day with lots of photos! She has patience, which was perfect for our older pup that needed his bowl held for him when he ate and she did this every time :) Another great thing is that if she herself isn’t available on the days you’ll need, she has other people who work for her that babysit their dogs out of their own homes. It’s like a vacay for the dogs as well. They have their own suite, they’re never in kennels/cages, it’s like a home away from home and I couldn’t be happier. We’re already booking with her for our November vacation as well!

Tara and the Li Pet Nanny are fantastic for all pet care! Dan takes care of our bearded dragon when we go away. He is attentive and thorough, follows directions and gives us the peace of mind that our little lizard is in great hands when we go away! We have been using Tara and Dan for a year, they respond quickly and are readily available, even without much notice. I love getting a thorough report plus pics when we go away! I can’t say enough good things about LI Pet Nanny. Kathy and Tara arranged a meet and greet with myself and Enzo, my 120lb dogue de Bordeaux prior to an all day stay. Enzo is a big mama’s boy and had never been left with someone outside the family. Within minutes Kathy had Enzo so comfortable, he just loved her. It was very evident that she and Tara had a lot of experience with animals. Both wonderful. When my husband brought Enzo the next time, he ran right into Kathy’s house and didn’t even look back. Kathy sent us pictures throughout the day which gave us great comfort to know that Enzo was happy and safe. I would not hesitate to use LI Pet Nanny again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a loving sitter for their pet. Almost forgot, I loved them so much, I booked them again on the car ride home.

I used Long Island Pet Nanny to watch our rabbit for our wedding, honeymoon and various weekends away. They are amazing, and keep you updated with messages and photos throughout the day. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Disappointing and concerning...Contract I signed stated sitter was not to leave the dog for longer then 5 hours, the manager said 4 hours. 1st day sitter was gone for 6 hours, midday snack was missed. 2nd day sitter was gone for 8 hours, again midday snack was missed again and dinner was very late. I contacted her immediately. Having a extra large dog who has GI issues, he needs to eat when all possible midday and initially I was very pleased thinking the sitter would only be out for few hours. Then that same night he was left outside in the yard for awhile by himself walking back and forth to the door and to the patio looking for the sitter who was inside but had no visual of him. He was very nervous not seeing anyone as seen by the security cameras. Owner and manager were sent the video that night and agreed it was unacceptable. Prior to leaving on the trip, I expressed the need to be by the door or stoop when he goes out to do his business as well a a midday snack. What a mistake having trust! I was never informed of any issue with schedule. I contacted the manager late at night to express my concerns. Owner tried doing her best switching sitters and 3 different ladies came into my home in a matter of 2 days. My boy was completely stressed not knowing who was coming into his home because we were not there to reassure him but I thought things were better. We came home 2 days later to find my screen storm door clip to slide the window up and down broke and sitting on a low end table by the couch where my boy could have gotten it, bathroom was left with wet towels rolled in a ball and wet washcloth. Dishes/utensils in sink cleaned but not put away where they got them. Tin can of Bubly and paper cup on the side of my house, garbage bag on the side of my garage, not even tied closed so the racoons could have had a field day, dog poop in my patio garbage bin thrown in.I was told they would go over the directions but I should have made sure that I went over them with the each new sitter at the time because communication was very laxed. I told the owner to leave the poop in the yard, I would clean it, she was going to inform the others but that didnt happen either.When I left everything was cleared, cleaned and neat. I at least expected my home to be in the same condition I left it in!!Thankfully the only reason I would know about certain things is having a puppy cam inside the house and security cameras outside, which they were informed of prior, otherwise I would have no idea and think everything was great and dandy according to all the pictures and comments from the sitters. I personally would never recommend LI Pet Nanny due to the negative outcome, lack of communication between the sitters and genuine concerns while away for the care and safety of my pup.Addendum: Response to owner- First why did I get stuck with a sitter that apparently did not follow the signed contract for time away and did not follow the owners written directions? Not the impression given when interviewed. Again if not for the cameras, which many people have, I would have had no clue! You could have went over the directions with me on the phone but said you would read them. But you were not the one pet sitting and communication was very laxed (e.g. leave the poop in the yard). There were common sense things that really lacked when we arrived home and dealt with the issues. IF things were left from 1st sitter shouldnt someone have cleaned up her mess if that is the excuse?!

Tara is amazing. She watched our two dogs and provided details and lots of pictures with each visit. We felt so comfortable leaving them in such caring and capable hands. We will definitely call her again.

Where should I start....the original meeting, so professional, the updates on all my pets, peace of mind, the ease of communication, amazing, the pictures of the babies, loved all of them. Ive never been so at ease leaving my pets, thank you so much.

LI Pet Nanny is freaking amazing- booking was easy and the meet and greet was so nice before we left our pup! Kat is absolutely fantastic- she took such good care of George for the weekend. She brought him to our venue for photos! She sent us constant updates and photos- made us feel so comfortable knowing he was happy and safe!!Honestly what a great team they have here, so glad we found them. We literally made sure she was free before booking our honeymoon😂. Would recommend this team a thousand times over. Its so nice not to have to worry about your pup- they are in amazing hands. 🥺♥️

We have been using LI Pet Nanny for almost 2 years. We have 7 pets and some need medication and they all eat different foods. We just left our elderly dog and the rest down to our four month old kitten with them again and we have no worries while we are away. Consistent updates throughout the day. We come home, our house is clean and our pets aren’t stressed. Everyone who has come has been great, but Kelly has gone way above and beyond- she is wonderful. We found Long Island pet sitters and now have Kelly as our regular sitter, and she is wonderful. She takes such good care of our dog and sends us messages for each visit with pictures included. She loves our dog and gives her special care and attention. She really takes care of her individual needs. The company is well organized and makes sure to take care of every detail. Long Island Pet Nanny has changed my life! I no longer have to bother family and friends with the care of my fur babies. The caregivers are excellent and keep me informed after every visit with pictures too! Lisa is my main nanny and I know she really cares about the welfare of my cats, and her backups do too. LIPN even came through for us at the last minute during a family emergency! I’m so glad I found Long Island Pet Nanny! My 6 year old chocolate lab had a great stay when she boarded with them. I knew she was well taken care of and she was treated like royalty. I know it was a vacation for my dog as well! I will definitely be using them again, not only for boarding, but check-ins as well. It’s so great that they offer so many services and are so trustworthy!

Ashley was amazing! She came four times a day and stayed with our puppy for one hour visits. We got detailed descriptions of what they played and how he ate. She also sent tons of pictures letting us know our puppy was happy and doing well. When we returned home, she even left a little goodie bag for our pup. I would definitely use this service again.

We’ve been using Long Island pet nanny for about a year now and couldn’t be happier. Our pup is our entire life and we trust Tara and Josh with her completely! Josh always sends pictures while he’s walking her and playing with her and an update of how she was during the time he was here. Tara is always making sure there is coverage for our pup too if her normal walker isn’t available on a certain day :)

Words can not express how amazing this company is. From Kat’s steady open communication and updates to Teresa keeping our boy company during the day this team of ladies is nothing short of amazing. Our boy enjoyed himself the whole time we were gone. I know my dog and his body language well. The pictures we received showed how truly comfortable he was staying with Kat while we were away… and this made this Mama’s heart sooo happy! ❤️ Needless to say we will continue booking our pup with LI Pet Nanny.

Negligent pet sitter. After discussions with them about lying regarding how long they spent with my dog I got this picture of them leaving the door wide open while my uncollared dog decides whether or not to bolt. We paid for walks and if she decided to walk the dog, it would be to the two houses next door or at most four houses down the street. Fired and will never recommend to anyone. IF YOU LIKE YOUR SITTER AND WISH TO TIP DO IT IN CASH OTHERWISE THEY WONT SEE ANY OF IT!Edit reply: never, ever ever has that door blown open on my or my familys watch. The fact that she wasnt even available to see Oliver is a horrible excuse for this. Youre saying that not only was the door open but she wasnt even in the same room? With a closed door between them? What a ridiculous excuse for negligence. Hire these pet sitters at your own risk.

Michael is the most amazing sitter and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend this service. He is extremely reliable and makes sure to send daily updates with photos and videos. Very trustworthy and extremely reasonable in price. He is the best!
