SPCA Dog Park

Its got a great amount of space and a place on the side of the building to refill a water dish. Theyve of course got doggie bags and trash cans inside the play area so you dont have to leave the fenced area, I just wish more people knew of this park and had their pets come. 😁

Great local public park. It’s always clean with a hose to water the dogs. My dogs love coming here!

Free but donations in money or doggie goods welcome. Bring your own water, nice large area with shade. Not separated for small and large dogs. Yard is groomed. Has covered bench to sit on while pups play. My dogs loved it!

Nice place to let your dogs roam around even in the winter! Fenced in, waste containers with shovels on two sides, whats not to like? Our puppy really enjoys roaming around this large area. It should be noted that theres only one large area to roam, it does not have separate spaces for large versus smaller dogs.

Decent sized and calm, lots of shade available which is nice. Biggest problem is small-medium dogs can easily slip under the gates (my 20 lb dog can with ease.) Often very quiet.

Completely fenced in, so its a shock not many people use it. Great for dogs to play and socialize. Glad we have a place like this!

I didnt realize that the public could use the fenced area next to the SPCA. Today was a great day, with a great discovery. We introduced one of my dogs with my boyfriends dog, and the park was perfect neutral ground for us. I recommend it for anyone.

This place is a great place to take your best friend, theres a fence around the entire area, and the entrance is double gated. You can come and use the area even when the SPCA is closed. There a few bowls next to a water hose for your thirsty doggos.

Here in Watertown for Dental appointment; needed a dog park for our Buster. Very nice.. Tough with snow but he managed. Thanks for being close to our Hotel.

Pros: nicely mowed grass, generally clean, one shelter with two benches for humans, small wooded area with good shade for dogs, three small dog houses for dogs (one is hidden under trees)

Nice to have a secure location to let my dog run as fast as he wants. Haven’t encountered anyone else when we go there, but that’s ok. At least my dog gets to go crazy for as long as he likes.

Great place for doggos to run around. There is a toy box there and shelter areas for the pups. Also a water bowl is always there. Just be sure to bring water and poop bags

Was a nice area for the dogs in the shelter to have some outside time. The current dog that was outside when I visited was extremely friendly, even though you could tell she had a hard life.

Good Dog park for any dog lover. New awning added to help you enjoy the park even in the rain. More coming soon according to an inside source.

I like this dog park. Its only the second time Ive been here but it seems to be clean and a good amount of space for my dog to run.

Its a good place but fences could definitely be taller with the to busy roads. But this place in general is good. Very good helping staff!

I am glad we finally have a FREE and open access dog park in Watertown. That being said, depending on the day or time you come, it leaves something to be desired as the other user of the park regularly leave poop around or bring in dogs they know might be dangerous to others, like a woman with a toy aggressive dog that was already wearing a shock collar.As for things that could be improved to the actual park, there is rarely clean water in the dishes, so bringing your own might be best as the hose set up doesnt actually work. If you have smaller escape artists, be wary as the double gate has a bit of a wear and tear gap in the dirt where they can easily slip away.Also, a public service announcement of sorts, unless you previously ask for a specific meet and greet, the SPCA dogs are NOT allowed to interact with your dogs, so if you see volunteers walking one, be polite and keep your dog away.

Love taking our dog here. Its clean and we need a place that isnt too busy. We dont see many other dogs here which is good for our dog.

Quiet and peaceful. The pup sure loves being able to run without a leash. Busy at times, but empty others.

Good place to let your dogs run around off leash. Frequently other well mannered dogs here.

This is a nice dog park it was clean and not muddy. Not to far from the hotel to let our dog run and play.
