Best Friends Doggie Day Spa

They took such good care of my cat Susie and she looked beautiful after being bathed and brushed out but now that Sharon and Jackie are gone I will need to look for another groomer that will show the same respect to her,I dont know the new owner and after hearing a couple stories about her I have no desire to take my Susie there any longer.

I rarely leave reviews but good thing we are moving because I’d never go back.my dog always leaves looking worse than when I brought her in. Theresa is consistently an hour or two behind schedule which I’ve always been understanding, despite the frustration.After waiting around for an hour past, Theresa texts us it’s cash or check only today as her card machine is getting updated. Why would you wait until she’s done to tell me that? I could have used the past 3 hours to go to the atm. She also charged me extra for matting. She’d rather taint her reputation than not charge us extra. Hey, whatever.

Moved here in July, needed a grooming appointment for my two poodle mixes ASAP!(Lab/poodle with very curly coat and Old English Sheepdog/Poodle with a flatter coat for reference)The groomer didn’t have any availability for 6 weeks. By the time I brought my dogs in, they were in desperate need. No judgment from the groomer and owner. They understood entirely, explained all of the options for haircuts. I came out with two beautiful dogs! Now I book my next appointment while I’m there for pick up, because they get busy - but they are worth it!!The team here is kind, attentive, and know what they are doing. They’ve asked health questions, explained what they’ve noticed on my dogs (one has allergies and can lick at his paws a lot- they made sure I knew, if I wasn’t already aware), and are overall rockstars.My only downside is, they are cash or check only and I’m just bad at remembering to pull out cash. But I’ll continue to do it because they are so great.Definitely recommend!

The ladies here are absolutely amazing! They really take the time to do a great job and make you and your dogs feel welcome. We hadnt brought in our pit bull for a couple months and when I called to book an appointment, the woman knew exactly who I was and was saying how she had been thinking about my dog, Tank! It warmed my heart knowing that my dogs are loved, remembered and cared for here. I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Thank you Best Friends Doggie Day Spa, all you ladies are wonderful 😊

This place is always exceptional, Ive come here for years! I have a husky and I understand how challenging they can be to bathe and yet I always get him back looking spiffy and completely not stressed which does not happen at the bigger places like Pet Supplies Plus and Petco.Could not recommend higher :DThese people are amazing

We have been going to them for 3 years now. They are very nice and personable folks, and they do a great shampoo and nail clipping. Once our dog was skunked and they got her in that day to deal with the smell. Our dog doesnt usually do well with other dogs, but she is an angel thereand apparently feels comfortable.

We have now used their mobile pet service for 2 of our dogs and wish we had sooner! Its so convenient and less stressful for the dogs! The price isnt much different from other places but its SO much better. She worked in a timely fashion and they look amazing! So happy. Thank you Best Friends!

They were able to get Charlie the cat in on short notice and really listened to my concerns for his dry skin, recommending many things. His nails are shorter, his coat is shinier and softer than ever from a deep conditioning shampoo, and he even smells wonderful! We will definitely be back!

Best friends is our new go-to grooming spa. Not only do they offer services at their convenient location on the outskirts of Watertown, but they also offer mobile grooming..which has been a lifesaver for us on more than one occasion. There is never a long wait for services and Ive never been happier with the outcome of our dogs bath, ear care, and nail clipping package. Prices are extremely reasonable too! They even got to sleep in bed with me that night 😊

I went here for the first time today and they took such good care of my Lucy. She tends to be very shy of strangers (she was a rescue and was neglected) but she was happy as ever when I picked her up! She looks and smells fantastic. The staff was sweet, professional, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning!

They did a great job with my x-farm cat Whiskers. He had lots of mats and doesnt just let anyone shave him! Hailey does a great job with cats and dogs! Trust me my dogs middle name is Anxiety! And my cats middle name is tough guy🦁

The cheapest place Ive had my Malamute/husky groomed at and the quality was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly, even called to let me know it would take longer than expected. I would highly recommend Best Friends :)

My German Shepherd, Libby, loves doggie day care (and Bruce)! She goes every day because she loves it so much. I cant imagine leaving her cooped up at home, alone, when she could be playing with her friends at day care. I also really like the staff. They are ALWAYS very nice and friendly. Other places I visited were abrupt with their answers to my questions, like I was bothering them. The staff here loves to talk about my dog as much as I do! I hope they continue to expand and have success because they are truly dog lovers.

I bring my two doxies here whenever I need to drop them off at daycare or get them groomed. The owner and all the staff are always friendly, and welcoming! My dogs love going here, and I trust them. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else!

Best friends has been amazing with my pup Jackson! The staff is great and they genuinely care about the dogs comfort and happiness. I would highly recommend to anyone!

My 1 yo boxer needed a nail trimming so I took him to Best Friends and Sue Butterfield did a great job on a squirmy dog. He has been with Sue several times now and does better each time.

These ladies were AMAZING! They helped me and my dog deal with our anxiety lol. My dog was scared of other dogs and they made sure he was comfortable as much as possible the whole time. They were extremely flexible, since it was my dogs (both boys) first time to the groomers they made sure they paid extra attention and gave me tips to help them more. I cannot express how thankful I am for them and they werent freaked out that my dogs were Staffordshire Bulls. Again, thank you ladies and sorry for Chicos ear ringing yip.

I have been going for about 8 months and my dog does not like them. The last time was enough. They added 15 dollars on his grooming bill. The lady did not inform until I asked I how I pay and my dog was hiding when I showed up. I would not recommend at all. When I showed up she was texting and to.d me to hang on. That is not how you treat someone who brings you in money. I will be looking for another groomer.

Great place and great prices! One of my shih tzus is very temperamental and gets really mean when being groomed. And they are the only groomers that can handle him and his hair cuts are done very nicely!

I have brought both my dogs here for daycare services for over a year. The dogs love it! The employees are very attentive and caring, and they cater to what your dog needs. I highly recommend them!

My husband and I had to go out of town for over a month and a half and we didnt want to leave our fur baby in a kennel. We spoke to Sharon the owner of Best Friends pet care and she explained how everything worked out to be able to board our pet with her. She sent us pictures throughout our time away as well as let us know how he was doing. Our basset had outside play time as well as around the clock bathroom breaks. When my husband came to pick our basset up, he said our basset cried the whole way home, and gave us the cold shoulder for two days, which shows he didnt want to leave. Our basset was well taken care of, he was clean, and spoiled rotten. She gave our basset the same love he receives at home. We would recommend her services to anyone looking to board or for anyone looking for pet day care.

Our groomer retired and our Clumber who despises riding in the car was a mess. Best Friends mobile did an amazing job. Sharon was incredible to deal with. Highly recommend!

Ive been taking my cat here for three years, and my experience is always a positive one. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a groomer!

I havent actually been there, but I feel like it should be stated that, for kenneling, they only take dogs 25lbs or less. Im not sure about grooming requirements.

My dog has female aggression towards people due to the way he was treated as a puppy before I got him. So i was scared having all female groomers. Hes a very loving dog but skittish and has super separation anxiety away from Me. While there, they allowed me to stay within visibility view so he was more comfortable. They did a bath, blow dry and nail cut and buff all for a super affordable price. Now my fur baby is OK with baths but not blow dry. He was flailing around and terrified. Mind you hes a 70lbs lab mix. The owner came right in and sat on the table the dogs stand on and basically coddled him and lulled him until he calmed down. All while Im still in view. He finely relaxed and the owner still sat and held him through the whole thing assuring he was as comfortable as possible. They were very caring and made sure to be slow moving with their hands to make sure he didnt get startled and to assure him he was safe. He was a happy dog going in and an even happier dog coming out. I highly recommend them!!!!

I take my baby girl Pepper there and she loves it. Shes shy at first but all the groomers are nice and make her feel comfortable, by the time we come back for her shes having a ball. I like the ability to leave her there for a few hours before or after she is groomed so she gets some doggy playtime as well(shes an only dog).

Weve come here several times. Never had a problem! ^_^ They work amazing with our schedule! Okay Im editing because I came back. So Mandy is like the absolute best! I adore her!! ^_^ We always get her and she does great with my dogs! Even though they are lil jerks sometimes!
