Working with Ed at Top Dog to get our DogWatch fence installed was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Ed was timely in his response to our inquiry, scheduling our consultation and getting our fence installed. Ed was extremely helpful with understanding how to train our little Penny at just 4 months old. He was patient with her and with us to understand the right techniques and her response to the training. Not only did Ed make himself available to us for any questions we had during the training process, he also made outreach calls to us to see how Penny was doing and made suggestions for how to modify her training. We are confident that we will have a successful outcome with Ed’s support and look forward to summertime out in the yard without having to worry that we will have a runway pooch!

We had Top Dog Pet Fence install our fence for our boxer puppy who was a handful and wanted to be outside a lot. Ed was excellent at providing instruction and tips during the training that really helped. He was quick to get back to me with answers to any questions I had. and has continued to assist me any time I have a question. I highly recommend Top Dog Fence. Their customer service is top notch and the product works. My dog never leaves our yard, even when temped by the deer that occasionally cut through our yard into the woods behind our house.

DogWatch has been incredibly helpful and easy to work with from the start until now, a few years after install. My dog was six months when we got the fence and she took to it easily. The installer showed us exactly how to train her. When it was time for a battery replacement, they let us know and that process was easy as well. As of late, the collar actually fell off in our yard (a dog sitter had clipped it on incorrectly), and it was very easy to order a new one. It will be sent right away! Overall, I would recommend DogWatch to anyone looking to install an electric pet fence!

Love the electric fence. I had Ed put in one at my old house and when we moved had one Put in the new house. They did a great job. He showed me how to train the dog to fence and had him trained in just a couple of weeks. I highly recommend them.

We are very pleased with our dogwatch fence. We originally tried the Halo collar on our dog and the boundaries were spotty and the dog didn’t seem to care about the corrections. He wouldn’t stay in the boundaries at all. Now, with our dog watch fence, he is always staying in the boundaries and is getting the exercise he needs. We are so happy we made the change to dogwatch. The entire team was a pleasure to work with.

We’ve had top dog pet fence for over 10 years and they are wonderful to work with! They are always available by phone, quick for service appts and we get batteries on auto-shipment to keep our dog safe.

Dogwatch fence has allowed our dogs to have the freedom to roam around our yard freely with no worries . We have owned the fence for 4 years now and haven’t had an issue ! Dog watch is great about calling to remind about batteries ( if not on plan ) checking in and answering any questions we may have . Would highly recommend :)

On the advice of a friend, we installed an underground fence for our dog who kept escaping after exhausting all other options. Dog Watch was easy to schedule with and responsive. The only issue I had was that when we were given an estimate, it was incorrect because the person who came to our property did not measure. So I recommend making sure and requesting that a full measurement is done of your property so you know the total expense prior to installation. That said, after the installation, Dog Watch did “make it right”. Now that we have had the fence a few weeks I can honestly say that it has changed my dogs life. She was confined to a tie out because we were so afraid that she would escape and get hit by a car. Now she can roam the yard and run freely. We have had two people leave our gate open and she just looked at it and walked away. I love the ability to change the sensor on the collar and I have actually lowered it for my dog after the initial training (she responds to this correction level, so I do not see the need for it to be higher). You can do that yourself without having to call them for service, which is wonderful. A tree actually fell on our fence last week, and my dog happened to be out without her collar on and she completely obeyed boundaries because of her training. I do recommend.

We have had our dog fence through many years and a few dogs! Ed came out today to address an issue we were having. He immediately knew what was wrong, fixed it, and helped with a few other things we needed help with. Very nice and professional - we highly recommend their services!

Ed was wonderful. Nice, clear explanations, great with the dogs and us! Taught us so well on the first visit he did not have to come back for the second training session! Even my dog who is not the brightest crayon in the box learned very quickly!Marie, who answers the phone, was very sweet and helpful!

Thanks for your service. My dogs learned very quickly with Eds training. I highly recommend. My dogs went from many years of living free range on 6 acres, to a 1/2 acre 5 ft fenced in yard, to a 3/4 acre lot with only a fence on back of property. I wasnt sure this fence would work for them because they were used to chasing squirrels, rabbits, etc, but they caught on very quick and I can now leave my home with them outside without worrying. We decided to purchase an invisible fence after one of our dogs got hit by a car last year and we were devastated. I did a lot of research of various companies before we decided on DogWatch due to their great reviews!We initially spoke with Terry, their sales representative, who was wonderful to work with! He answered all of my questions. When we decided to go with DogWatch, Ed (the owner of the company), came to our house to give us an estimate of how much it would cost based on the area we wanted to cover. He was very thorough and extremely knowledgable.We set up a date for installation and Matt (their install guy) arrived right on time. He expertly installed the invisible fence in a short amount of time. He then did a basic training with me and one of my dogs to show me how to teach them their new boundaries.One week later, Ed came out and did a more in depth training and spent 30-45 minutes with each of our dogs and me to work on training. This was extremely helpful and the dogs were picking up on it quickly!One week after that, Ed came back to do their last training and talk to me about next steps.I am happy to report that we now are able to let our 3 dogs out and know they will stay in the yard! I was very surprised how easy and straight-forward the entire process was!A HUGE THANK YOU to Ed, Terry & Matt for giving us the peace of mind to let our dogs out without leashes again!! :-)

I am still working with my dog, its been a little over 2 weeks since installation. Everything is good very good. Ed has been very efficient, and great with our dogs. Very friendly people to work with, and this will be great for Hank to have more freedom in our backyard.

Ed was extremely professional and knowledge with his dog fence and my dog. We had her trained with the hidden fence in just a few days. They have always answered calls or emails within the hour of sending them. Ed has a wonderful grasp on dog behavior and you can tell he truly enjoys them and what he does. We have had our DogWatch pet fence for about a year and a half, and our family couldnt be happier. We have a lab that chases everything and jumped our physical fence multiple times. Ed Robbins came out and did training, made the necessary adjustments specific to our dogs needs, and we havent had any issues till this week. A year and a half later, Ed remembers me, my dog, the issues we worked on, and walked me thru verifying everything was still set up properly and how to conduct some refresher training. We purchased a new underground fence system from Top Dog / Dog Watch. Everything from sales to instalation through training was great. No pressure to buy, and their scheduling was very accommodating. The instalation was completed by Ed. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the product and the instalation options. The wire coming up to the house is in a nice conduit and east access box, it looks great from the outside. You can tell they love animals and the product they sell. Ed and the staff at Top Dog Pet Fence are professional and very knowledgeable about the whole invisible or hidden fence process. Ed worked with me, my wife and our 2 dogs Ms. Peanut Butter and Ms. Bee. Unfortunately for Ed my wife and I were/aree much harder to train than the dogs. Installation and initial training took a few hours and then Ed returned a week later for follow up training.If you are considering a hidden fence you must talk to Ed or any other of their staff members. Terry was our intial contact and is a pleasure to work with and will certainly point you on the right path. I sincerely recommend Top Dog for your Invisible fencing needs.

Ed is great to work with and genuinely loves dogs. He explains things thoroughly and works to make sure we are set up for success.

Good and fast install,the system appears to be working good.Our dog only went through twice that I am aware off.It wasnt the least expensive but it has a couple of features that were important to me, the stronger correct when she went through and no correction when she came back which was quite rapidly.

I am so glad that I chose this company over the others. Our dog Mosley was trained quickly thanks to Ed’s great tips and techniques. We have the happiest dog now that he can roam safely in our yard.

I wish I had called them years ago. I will never do a structural fence again. The dog/dogs gets way more room to roam with this and the outside experience is seamless to the experience the dog/dogs have in the house. It really is a no brainer. No fence to maintain, a view of my whole yard, and the happiest dog in the neighborhood!

When Ed arrived, I was already upset with another company. Ed had to take my noise, till I calmed down. He was considerate, informative and professional, he did exactly what I asked for.Gave me suggestions but was not pressuring like previous company. Although I probably spent almost as much as the first company wanted, I was content giving it to him. I would definitely recommend him.

These folks are the best. We have now had them install three fences at three different properties. Two different homes and also at our cabin on a peninsula on Lake George. Ed and Matt (the installer) were terrific. We have three dogs: a mild mannered Golden Retriever who would follow anyone anywhere and lick them to death , and two Yorkies - one is just five pounds but constantly escaped from our chain link fence. He is so small, he got under it in a bunch of different places. Hes cute and tiny, but hes a real ankle biter. I didnt think it would be possible to train him, but this fence works miracles and now, no matter where I am, I can relax and know that our dogs wont get hurt and they can enjoy running all over our property in safety.

This was installed in a timely manner with training. It is excellent! Copper can come and go into the yard thru the doggie door and I don’t have to worry about him wandering off.

Poor service after the sale. 1 Dog is still getting out past the transmitter line, and then when she comes home, the collar buzzes to keep her out of the yard. Its already on the highest setting. At least it works for my smaller dog.

Excellent communication with Marie & Ed. They guide you through the process, explain things clearly & answer any questions. Ed brought treats to make our dog listen & guided us though the entire process of how to train our dog on the new underground fence.. Best of all, our Beagle/Fox Hound has not dug his way out under our physical fence that was there with our previous dog. Nor did our dog have to be on a 30 foot lead anymore (which he also pulled out even though we had cork-screwed it into the middle of our yard to prevent our dog from digging. He learned his boundaries & we are all enjoying his ability to run around the backyard & front yard freely (without us being fearful of him escaping or getting hurt! ❤️
