PETCO grooming good service for grooming basic wash dry brush and file for fox left with a cute bow tie and smelled amazing he was indeed a happy Shiba
Kaitlyn was so good to our dog. Her bubbly personality was just what we needed to let our puppy get bathed and her nails trimmed. “ Scarlett “ loved Kaitlyn and wasn’t nervous at all.
I have experienced pet grooming in 3 of your locations, but with just 2 specific groomers. Both took the time to hear my concerns about my pet who has anxiety when getting his nails done. I have been going to your groomers for 9 years and will continue to go there through the life of my pet.
Kailee was excellent with cutting Chase’s nails. He hates to be confined and has awful separation anxiety. We’ve only had him 6 months as he was a dumped dog that was rescued. He snapped and showed his teeth…scaring the first girl cutting his nails. Kailee took over and got the job done quickly and safely for the poor dog without incident. Couldn’t have been happier as I was so nervous. Thanks Kailee.
Always friendly and courteous, even while swamped with appointments. They always take the time to take care of walk ins. The nail trim was perfect minus one nail cut too short and my pup bled for a bit, but she is okay! Love the latham Petco and would recommend again and again!
I love snow new haircut and he does to and he was treated with such good care.I would like to thank your staff for taking such good care of him
Petco and PetSmart should be ashamed of themselves. I scheduled an appointment for my dog when he was a puppy and I thought I could trust them. I had him scheduled for just a bath! It took them over 2 and a half hours to bathe my dog and this is where my suspicions started. I went in several times to ask where my dog was and I heard him barking and crying in the back. They said he was having an issue with the dryer. Upon researching their insanely disgusting “kennel dryer” I see why ANY puppy would have an issue with that dryer. Needless to say I assumed it was just the dryer and informed them never to put my puppy in that dryer again or there would be issues. Also he was to remain in my sight the entire time. Next appointment he had they told me I needed to book “express” to keep him from being out of the kennel.... and this costs extra and so does a towel or hand dryer lol HUMANE drying is extra now. And no other groomers crates a dog to tend to other people sickening. So this second appointment they start walking to the back (where I cannot see my dog) and I’m not allowed back; so when I ask where the hell they are taking him they say to the bath and I asked to go I was denied (probably so I can’t see the other dogs screaming under the kennel dryer and being suffocated to death) so I said I wanted to cancel the bath and only do the haircut. From the time I saw them bringing him into the second door and me coming In was about two minutes and she said they’d already started shampooing my dog. Which was nearly impossible. So I paid one hour appointment express over $60 for a bath, haircut, nail cut , sanitary hair removal near his privates and the upgraded $8 deep conditioning treatment that turned out to be about 15 minutes. So not only did they take my dog from my sight they also lied to me and then ripped me off for what I paid for. These big name groomers are horrendous and should be shut down for now they treat pets. Upon research they’ve killed numerous dogs. I mean a table fell on one and they suffocated dogs in those dryers and continue to use them. My dogs won’t ever go here again. Never. I’m so sorry I didn’t research them sooner and allowed my 3 pound puppy to suffer at the hands of these greedy corporations who care about money only. And had my bath appointment only not been almost THREE HOURS I never would have known something was wrong so thanks to them for bringing it to my attention. I pray more pet owners read this and go somewhere local where you can watch from start to finish and have your pet dried with a blow dryer not stuffed into a cage at above 100 degree temperatures!!
Suggest using photo of cut customer offers ao you can give cut requested rather than doing what you want. Cut not what was requested
My dog ended up at the emergency vet because the groomer snipped her ear and she required stitches. I get that accidents happen, and the past appts have been great, in fact, I specifically request this groomer, BUT clearly the groomer was distracted while wielding very sharp scissors. Then when my husband arrived at the store to pick up our other dog after being informed that second dogs was injured and at the emergency vet, the store wouldnt tell him what her injury was. When he asked to speak with the groomer, the manager said she went home and that it was corporate policy to not give out that (injury) information! Are you serious?? you wouldnt tell us what happened to our dog, we had to find out after a panicked trip to the emergency vet. It was awful that our dog was injured in any way, but the fact that no one at the store would tell us what the injury was is the real problem. That policy will cause us to never use Petco grooming services again, and unfortunately, we will tell everyone about our experience there.
My dogs haircut was choppy and uneven. His ears were not clean and the hairs inside were not trimmed. I guess theres a reason they have you pay and tip before you see your dog.
Jessica always does a great job with my Goldendoodle. Shes very professional and personable. My dog is always happy and never stressed with the care provided.
Alyson did such a good job. She listened to me and did exactly what I wanted. She is the only Petco groomer who has ever followed my instructions. I will definitely go back to Petco and request Alyson.
Paco had a feet, face and fanny cut. He looks soooo much better now, especially his face. And he was very relaxed after it.

My dog was groomed well and in a timely manner. The young lady who worked with my dog was caring and sweet
The groomer did everything perfectly, with the exception of not leaving my Yorkie some hair on top of her head.
I agree I asked for short hair cut but they did it too short and some parts feels like it is uneven cut.
