I have taken multiple dogs to All Dawgs over several years. They are the best! Training classes and daycare are a wonderful combo to socialize your pup and give them the exercise they crave. Sport sleeps like a baby after his daycare days. Diane and the crew are wonderful and loving to the dogs :-)
I am so thankful for All Dawgs! They are so good at working with my dog during training and I can tell that day care is making a huge difference for her. She is always tired and happy when she comes home!
I took my 18 week old puppy to her first daycare day and I will never be back. I went here off of good faith and it was close to my work, hoping my puppy could have some more positive dog socialization since she is my only dog. Instead, she was put into a situation that made her nervous; she was put right into a group of dogs and was not assisted with integration or socialization. I was told I could call mid day to check on her, I called 3x until I was able to reach someone. I believe she spent more time in a tiny crate in a lineup of crates with barking dogs then she did out, she was returned to me with urine on her paws, she smelled and was itchy the rest of the evening. Luckily I was able to find a different more privately run and caring daycare that will give my puppy the tools to be successful. Unfortunately, I will never recommend AllDawgs to anyone ever again. Please save your puppy the trauma and find somewhere else to go. I wish I would have turned right around when I arrived in the morning and the personal dogs of the owner were in tiny crates in the office and aggressively barked at me. I always try to give benefit of the doubt, but I recommend against that in this situation.
Our little Daisy is a 2 year old high energy corgi who we have been bringing to All Dawgs since we got her as a puppy! Being able to go through classes at All Dawgs to ensure our pup was well adjusted and friendly was a priority for us. She also goes to daycare several times a week and is always excited to go and has a great time socializing with other dogs and getting her energy out. We have also used All Dawgs boarding school service which really rounded out her training. She had a tendency to eat poop and this has since stopped and her recall is amazing now, boarding school was absolutely worth it (even though we missed her for a few weeks!) The instructors and staff are friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend All Dawgs as a place to send your furry friend for classes, daycare or boarding school!
Our dog goes to doggy daycare 2x a week. When I get her collar and leash she knows what day it is. She loves going and playing with all her friends there, the best part about All Dawgs is you get a report card day your dog attends and it tells you how she played and with who. They even post pictures of dogs playing so you can see your dog playing with other dogs. Its helped our Zoey because she has separation anxiety and when we get home is ready for dinner and chilling on couch.
Reasons for 5 stars for All Dawgs: 1) Effective, 2) Humane, 3) Friendly, 4) Fun, 5) Accommodating. In February I had an aggressive 5 yo mini-Aussie that hated other dogs and bit me 2x. Four short months later I now have a dog that pays attention to me even in the presence of other dogs and doesnt growl even when I pick up a piece of steak from between her front paws. And best of all, shes never been happier or more confident.Poppy loves people but she began developing resource guarding and leash reactivity as a puppy. She breezed through puppy class but remained unusually dominant and willful (not my first dog, or even my first herding dog.) I hired a professional trainer recommended by my vet. His methods were effective in the short run but so harsh it left her with trachea damage and put me off professional training.Summer 2023 I finally decided I had to find another professional. I was wary. I did my homework and enrolled in All Dawgs in-home dog-to--human aggression training. Before that could start Poppy bit me hard, really attacked me, when I absentmindedly reached for her bone from under a chair just a few hours after she tore her second ACL. Yes, she was in pain, but the aggression was not new.Her aggression worsened over the long post-surgery convalescence. She lunged at me more than once when I tried to put her cone back on, teeth bared. I was heartbroken and afraid. When she was well enough for training, I was nearly bitten again trying to muzzle train her (my fault). LuAnn was so great about it. She gave me another week to train muzzle-train her, which I did per their video. It was our first triumph. Our first at-home lesson was in late February 2024. Results were immediate. No joke. The progress was so fast I began to practice without her muzzle by the end of the first week. I also enrolled her in Reactive Rover (muzzled), a class with other leash reactive dogs. Scary.Poppy graduated from both aggression classes with gold stars and a new attitude. We followed up with a Dawg Manners, a regular obedience class with other dogs in the room. I felt imposter syndrome, pretending she was just another dog. But she was great. She growled a little when a puppy bounded into her personal space, but a small verbal correction was all she needed. In fact, she began looking forward to going to All Dawgs. At this point she jumps out of the car with great excitement and would bound through the front door if she had her way.We are now in Real World Obedience, a class that meets at remote locations like parks. On the very first day of class somebodys loose puppy crashed directly into Poppy at full speed (of all the dogs in that park!). No warning. Bam! Both the instructor and I nearly had a heart attack. Poppy was surprised but showed no aggression and settled right down. What a test. What a triumph! Were also taking Intermediate Obedience. Poppy is calm, obedient, even relaxed in a closed room with half a dozen other dogs. She still likes her personal space, but its three feet, not thirty feet.Poppy finally has the owner she needs and I have the dog I knew she could be. Thank you, All Dawgs.
In July we rescued an almost 2 year old Cane Corso (90lbs). When looking for doggie daycare, most facilities were afraid of such a large intimidating pup.Diane and her team met Sarge and could see he was just a handsome mush. After a couple sessions Sarge fell in love with them and they with him.We love the pics they post to Facebook of him playing with other friends in his pack.Thank you to all our friends at All Dawgs.
Ive had an excellent experience bringing in my puppy Anubis. Every day I a bring home a more well-adjusted obedient pup. He no longer throws a fit when I leave the room without him and his thoroughly pooped when comes home. Hes also friendlier with people and more confident overall. He seems to enjoy going in the morning too!
All Dawgs has been with us every step of the way with our rescue dog who has required a lot of training and desensitizing. When we started in classes he couldnt be touched by anyone other than my husband and myself. Through private training with Luann, he is now not only able to attend daycare, but even looks for cuddles and pets from the instructors!
Diane Blackman and her crew are very compassionate and attentive with all the dogs and clients. I have appreciated all their direction and advice this past year. Most importantly, I TRUST them with my pup! My dog loves dawgie day care and sleeps like a baby when she comes home!
We have brought our dogs to training classes and they go to day care there. Diane and the staff are friendly and care about the dogs as if they were their own. Great place
When we got our Golden Retriever puppy, Molly Popcorn, she had way more energy than we ever expected. We had issues with her jumping on everyone, and especially our six year old grandson. I called All Dawgs and asked for some training assistance. The owner, Diane, came out to our house for several private lessons to teach myself, my husband, and my grandson how to teach Molly Popcorn how to become a better dog. After the private lessons, we also did the e-collar remote recall training. I cannot thank Diane and the staff at All Dawgs enough for their training. Molly Popcorn is a much better behaved dog and she is able to run loose on our property now because I know that she will return when she is called. We take her to All Dawgs once a week for daycare and training. She loves the staff and playing with other dogs. She has developed a much better, and well-rounded, personality from the socialization that is given at All Dawgs training than we could have ever given her. I have only positive experiences with Diane and All Dawgs. We get one on one questions answered by the staff and Diane, as well as daily doggie daycare training notes to take home. I would definitely recommend All Dawgs to anyone who is looking for training or dog daycare.
My dog attends multiple days a week for day care and has a ball! The owner/trainers/staff are always friendly and great with people and dogs. Always willing to help you work through any behavioral issues. We’ve taken many training classes. All classes have a good trainer/dog ratio. My dog and I have grown so much as a team together taking classes and are now onto the more “fun” advanced classes. I highly recommend daycare and training classes at All Dawgs!
Finding the right trainer can make all the difference - fortunately, I stumbled upon Diane Blackman at All Dawgs, whose expertise and passion for dogs exceeded my expectations. From the moment I contacted Diane, her professionalism and dedication shone through. She took the time to understand my dogs unique personality and needs, tailoring her approach to ensure effective training while considering my pets comfort and well-being.Throughout our training sessions, Diane and her staff exhibit remarkable patience and empathy, recognizing that every dog learns at their own pace. Their ability to communicate clearly and provide constructive feedback was extremely helpful and allowed me to continue the training at home effectively. My dog loves her time at daycare at All Dawgs and comes home happy every time.Beyond their technical expertise, Diane and her staff radiate genuine care and affection for dogs, in their training classes and daycare. It is evident that they view each dog as a unique individual, deserving of respect and understanding. This compassionate approach creates a nurturing environment where dogs feel safe to learn, socialize and grow.I wholeheartedly recommend Diane and the staff at All Dawgs to anyone seeking skilled and compassionate professionals to help them on their journey with their dog.
Awesome! Was recommended by a client of theirs. Signed up for lessons for puppies with Diane. Shes great! Very knowledgeable. Also, I signed up for doggie day care. Pups are in there 2nd week. Seems to really help out! Its a little pricey, but when you love your dogs, ya gotta do things correctly.
My dog is going through service dog training at All Dawgs.LuAnn is always friendly and welcoming. She is one of the instructors. Lu Ann and Diane [Diane is the head instructor and owner] have both had many years of experience with training. There are assistant instructors who are also helpful and keep the group classes running smoothly.Diane tested my dog thoroughly to ascertain where he is in obedience skills, startle tests, and tests for resource guarding. These tests are also used in canine good citizen testing. The Service Dog contract was thoroughly explained, including the no refund and no make-up sessions, which I do not find to be problematic. All Dawgs is offering a service. In order to take full advantage of the service, we have to commit to showing up.Diane is a professional in the highest sense of the word. She has many years of experience and it shows. She is a proponent of balanced training. Balanced training includes positivity as well as the other three quadrants of training based on behaviorism.A dog is not automatically put into an e-collar or a prong collar. These tools are only used on a few individual dogs [NOT most or all dogs] after careful evaluation. The owner or handler also gets professional instruction IF use of these adversive tools are indicated. The dogs do not stay using them for life.Willie loves to run. He was running up and down Route 85 in the grass as a hobby. He knew the commands. His drive to run knocked out any of his obedience training. Yes, we did use an e-collar to reinforce the commands he already knew. An e-collar can cause a dog to feel pain. This became a safety issue for Willie. Getting hit by a car can hurt a dog much worse than the prudent use of an e-collar can. Willie no longer requires the e-collar today. My reviews are always unsolicited.I highly recommend All Dawgs to anyone who is committed to giving their dogs the best possible life. The photo is of Willie, a black and white dog with spots, relaxing while awaiting his turn in class.Chrissy and Willie
I have a 4 year old, very big, enthusiastic, male lab. Prior to contacting All Dawgs we had experience with a regular collar, harness, Gentle Leader, prong collar and 3 different trainers. They all taught us something but we still didnt have reliable recall or the impulse control to avoid over zealous greetings of other dogs and people. He got away from me several times in doing so. We hike 5 days a week and I always felt stressed and on high alert. This training was my last resort and I wish it had been my first choice! I am truly amazed and so is everyone else who witnessed our previous struggles. I admit I was a bit squeamish about using the e-collar but soon realized that it took the stress away for both of us. My guy used to go the other way when I picked up his previous collars etc but no more. He comes to me and stands patiently while I put it on. After a very short training period, he rarely needs a correction and I dont remember the last time I used a leash hiking. Now when he sees other dogs or people on the trail he glances at them but stays with me. I highly recommend All Dawgs!
We have been using All Dawgs for almost 5 years. We brought our Golden retriever puppy Teddy to be trained at All Dawgs. Diane has always been very fair and consistent with us if there were any issues that arose. I would recommend All Dawgs to anyone that wants to have their puppy trained and their dog socialized.
At the end of August we sent our Great Dane 6 month old puppy Archer to the All Dawgs DAWG Boarding school for 4 weeks. Prior to sending him we realized we were having a challenge training him despite having another dog and being familiar with training. There was a lot of stress for Archer and for us as a family.Flash Forward to today.....We seriously couldnt be happier with the results. Archer is happy and easy going and very responsive to us. We as a family have a better understanding of Archer and our role in his behavior. We are thrilled. He attends day care 2 days a week and loves going there.A huge thank you to LuAnn for her care and guidance and for Diane for her support throughout. We are grateful to both of you and to your staff in daycare who spend time with him each week. To say it was worth every penny seems so cliché but it is true.Grateful LARGE puppy owners,Kathy, JulieMichael, Mark and Natalie
My significant other and I have loved attending All Dawgs with our pup. The staff was very helpful and would answer any questions we had as well as provide in the moment suggestions on what we could do instead as well as the reasoning behind why we are doing what we are doing. It was informative and we found it helpful to help train our dog:)
Ive taken my dog to multiple classes at All Dawgs and I could not have asked for a better experience. All the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and care so much about the success of your pup. I would recommend them to anyone!
We have had three of our dogs trained by all dogs very successfully. One did a five week Boot Camp, and it was worth every penny. Luanne was absolutely wonderful with archer. Four years later He is Still a gem
Our dog Luna was a rescue from a Southern high kill shelter. She obviously had no positive memories of humans when we got her at 4 months old. We started out around the end of September with 5 private lessons. Our trainer was Melissa. Luna was scared of everything, loud noises and foreign objects in particular.Melissa provided the beginnings of a foundation to use with Luna when introducing her to new things in the world. By the third lesson, Luna was coming when called for the most part and targeting a small wood base for treats. Her confidence spread over to the increase in play at home (mostly outside). By the 5th lesson, Luna couldnt wait to get to the training and she even made it through some obstacles.CONFIDENCE. That was Melissas gift to us. When Lunas confidence corresponded with ours at home, she took off.Highlights in the last 3 months since lessons:-Luna wagged her tail inside.-Luna is best friends with our new kitten.-Luna can play fetch and has many different toys.-Luna is fully potty trained and is not crated during the day.-Luna accepted a treat out of our dog sitters hand.-Luna plays with me inside the house finally.-Luna knows the commands crate, outside, inside, bed, food, and also her name.We are working on laydown, sit, and come still as these rely heavily on her focusing totally on us, but at least the really important ones she is getting. We would recommend Melissa to anyone. She always seemed to be having a great day and her enthusiasm poured out of her ears. Her dog Baloo helped out too.The facility is clean and accommodating. If I had to think of any criticism, it would relate to the Mens bathroom being in rough shape. (I work at a Plumbing and Heating Supply company, get ahold of me!)
Our dog has come so far since starting at ALL Dawgs! Diane and staff are so knowledgeable and always willing to offer suggestions. The PAWS program is exactly what our dog needed to gain confidence. My only regret was that we didn’t do it sooner. Thanks ALL Dawgs!!!!!
My dog has been going to All Dawgs Daycare twice a week for over 9 months. Harper gets to play with other dogs her size while learning how to interact appropriately. She loves going to Daycare. The people there are great. We love getting the daily report cards to see who she played with and how she interacted with her pack. We’ve also done training through All Dawgs. We worked on skills needed in order for Harper to be a well behaved dog in public.
We signed up for the second level class after doing the first level at Camp Bow Wow. As someone in the rescue world, the pushing of the prong collars rubbed me the wrong way from the get go. The rescue we foster for bans the use of such collars on their adopted dogs and I personally feel that they are completely unnecessary. We pushed that aside and I took him to a few training classes but I did not like the atmosphere and everything that was homework, we had already been taught at Camp Bow Wow. I give it 3 stars because the trainers were nice, but I will not be going back.
We have been bringing our dog to daycare and training at All Dawgs since she was a young puppy and we all love the experience weve had here! It always impresses me that were treated with such personal attention - the staff knows us by name, helps us and gives advice with any issues were having, makes accommodations for us when needed, etc.! Both training and daycare here have made a world of difference for our dog. Daycare has helped her to both learn and have lots of fun play to use up that excess puppy energy. Training has not only taught her tons of skills and obedience, but has helped strengthen our bond with her. She loves it here so much - she never comes out at the end of the day without a huge smile on her face!!! Thank you, All Dawgs!
I love All Dawgs! Diane, Luanne and the staff are such professionals. Training dogs (and their owners ;) ) to make such a BIG difference! Ive never had puppies more integrated and happy. Thank you All Dawgs. Leading with your heart!
My puppy has been training here all summer and been doing daycare since July. It has been a great way for him to get his energy out and learn how to properly socialize and play with other dogs. Training has been so helpful in guiding him on the correct way to act. I recommend All Dawgs to anyone wanting to start their training journey. I wont take my dog anywhere else!
In May of 2018 my family bought a new house, two weeks later we brought home Otis, a terrorist disguised as a yellow lab. For the next 11 months Otis chewed everything that was still ( walls, molding, shoes, everything).Everyone was extremely unhappy, my husband, my daughter, me and of course Otis. I was willing at that point to live in a dogless home. Sitting in my office on a Saturday totally defeated and searching the web, I stumbled upon All Dawgs, I called and Diane Blackwell answered. Otis went to Boarding school which I didnt even know something like that existed. Needless to say Otis came home crate trained, not marking, not chewing and with a 20 word vocabulary of commands he actually knew. Otis has been going to doggie day care 5 days a week ever since. He comes home happy and exhausted , which makes my family very happy. Hes a very good boy and now a perfect gentleman. My only regret is that I didnt know about All Dawgs earlier. I am extremely grateful to Diane and her team, so is Otis ; )
Class for therapy dog training was intense and very informative. It prepared my dog Claire and I to become a well trained team
Fantastic training classes and amazing staff. We have gone through Apprentice Dawgs training and now the Reactive Rover class for our very exciteable Willow. The staff is incredibly patient and the training classes have an excellent ratio of dogs to trainers. Not to mention that Diane, the owner, has gone above and beyond helping us figure out whats best for our dog to set her up for success.
Just a minute of your time to let you know how much I appreciate the training Ive received from All Dawgs. So I will be starting my training with my fourth pup. My other three all all certified therapy dogs and known as the trained therapy dogs to all the places they visit. I am always getting compliments on how well behaved they are. How friendly they are. Due to the wonderful training they have received I can take them anywhere I go. The trainers are always available for questions. They truly understand pup behavior and are able even in a full class to work with every dog and handler at the level they need. I highly recommend All Dawgs to anyone who wants the fun of really have a wonderful pup. Pups are just like children when taught with love and proper training they are always a joy. Thank you All Dawgs for getting my boys to that stage.
We took their Service Dog training program and it was incredible! Each trainer we had along the way was fabulous, encouraging and knowledgable. Their classes are thorough and the trainers take the time to support individual needs - even in the group classes. Professional, yet fun. We just completed our classes and now have a wonderful service dog who performs all the required tasks for our disabled family member. We are so impressed with their courses, we will continue to take classes with our service dog - just for fun. Our daughter will soon be starting obedience classes with her puppy. We highly recommed All Dawgs!
All Dawgs is ok. If you want to take your dog to get ok basic obedience training, then I think All Dawgs is fine for that. Anything else…you may want to look elsewhere. I took the leash training class with Diane which I couldn’t get through due to her abrasive personality. At one point my pup got reactive and Diane told me to pull him toward me. So, I did what she said, and she immediately snapped at me that I was doing it wrong.Diane talks a lot in class, but doesn’t provide any visual demonstrations and then will snap at you when you’re unsure. I think Diane loves dogs and has put so much of herself into her business, but she has an unfortunate acidity that rubs people the wrong way. I believe this is why there are so many bad reviews.I also took the apprentice dogs class and found out just how anxious my new dog was around other dogs. It became obvious that our dog wasn’t in the right spot, and despite me liking Luanne as an instructor, she had a whole class to attend to and it was likely difficult for her to give proper guidance on how to help ease his anxiety while in class. They also did not have any sort of partition to provide like other training facilities offer. All Dawgs uses balanced training…sort of. The assistant instructor yelled, and I mean YELLED, at another (very young) dog. It was pretty scary even for the humans and really turned us off to the class. We didn’t end up going back, plus our dog got a URI from class. So, if you are looking for a positive reinforcement/LIMA approach, All Dawgs does not use this. I’m not anti-balanced training, but I am anti-screaming at dogs and scaring them.I am happy to say that my dog now sits, stays, and lays down very nicely. So, we did see some positive results in our dog, but just did not have a pleasant experience with the actual business. I won’t be taking my dog back there since I think there are much better options in the capital region.
Winnie loves Day Care at All Dawgs! The staff is great and she loves them and all her four legged pals. We both especially enjoyed and learned a lot at Real World Obedience Classes.
When our dogs started to experience issues after a year of living together happily, we reached out to All Dawgs for their household integration training. Before we even got an idea of their availability, we had to pay the over $400 cost of the series of classes. It was only after receiving this (non-refundable) payment, that they informed us, before we could receive this training, our dogs would have to undergo another series of trainings, which we needed to pay an additional several hundred dollars for.My fiance and I were patient and agreed to the additional series of expensive trainings. The trainer we worked with was perfectly fine, although the advice and training we received seemed pretty basic and not sufficiently tailored to our dogs specific needs. However, as we took these courses and navigated the multiple scheduling miscommunications and mistakes, we were left alone with a situation where our dogs behavior and aggression was escalating. After making our initial payment in October, we had gotten to February and still were unable to get the household integration training. I called them in tears, concerned about the continually escalating behavior and asked them to allow us to schedule the household integration training as soon as possible. We had completed the other series of trainings and there were appointments that were open within a few weeks. We desperately needed them. However, they refused, insisting that we wait an additional 6-weeks for the sake of continuing with the same trainer. At the end of it, we were out nearly $1000 and left alone with a continually escalating problem that, while we waited for All Dawgs and jumped through multiple, expensive hoops, got to a point that was dangerous for us as well as the dogs. Despite never receiving these training, even five months after paying, we are completely unable to even get our money refunded.
My puppy is good natured but extremely strong for his size and always super excited. Every step of the way, from puppy class to day care and private lessons, all trainers are experienced and give each dog owner,, personalized instruction even in a class setting. I would highly recommend All Dawgs.
I have been bringing my dog to All Dawgs for almost a year since we took puppy class. Since then we took Apprentice and Master Dawg classes and e-collar training. He also goes to Day Care twice a week. He is always excited to jump out of the car each morning and I can always expect him to be tired at the end of the day. Everyone there is very nice and considerate!
We love all dawgs. We’ve taken a few group classes and private training. The trainers are amazing and so flexible to work with. They really care about the dogs. Our puppy always gets complimented that’s he’s trained so well and we owe it all to All Dawgs.
I have been bringing my dogs to All Dawgs for training since 2012. I have always found the staff to be responsive, caring and professional! One of my dogs has been fearful of inanimate objects ever since he was a puppy. However, with consistent work and support from Diane and her staff, he has been able to overcome his fears and achieve his Therapy Dog Certification. In addition, he is now excelling in Trick Dog and Rally Obedience thanks to Diane and her staff!
All Dawgs looks great from the outside but doesn’t always have your dog‘s best interest at heart. The trainers and majority of the staff are friendly but the owner only cares about the bottom dollar. After sending our dog here two days a week for a month at his last pick up we noticed that he had a hoarse bark that he didn’t have in the morning when we dropped him off. When we asked the staff they said they didn’t notice anything and then he wasn’t barking a lot that day. When it wasn’t resolved overnight we took our dog to the vet in the morning and the vet concluded that our dog had been barking nonstop when we reached out to the owner of all dogs letting them know that we wouldn’t be continuing sending our dog here because of this and would and would like a refund for our unused next month that we paid for, she only offered credit for future services. This review would get one star normally but the majority of the staff are very friendly and our dog did seem to have fun otherwise.
I have taken two classes now at AllDawgs and I think they’re great! The classes are expensive but training classes are expensive everywhere. I actually started going to AllDawgs after not loving a puppy class somewhere else. The trainers are very patient and knowledgeable. They have 2 trainers per class and they limit the number of dogs in their therapy dog prep class which is why I make the far drive to come here instead of going somewhere close to home. They take it very seriously and I plan to continue taking training classes here!
I cannot even begin to describe how incredibly helpful this company and their staff have been. I have truly felt like family since day one of bringing Winston there! They helped me through training him as he was my first puppy on my own and taught me to help him channel his energy and be the happy, loving puppy he is. Daycare has also been a wonderful experience, the staff clearly takes the time to get to know the personalities of the dogs and the dogs always love it (plus the photos posted are priceless )! Finally their pet sitting process is wonderful, the app brings so much peace of mind with details about what happened, notes on how the dogs are doing and photos. The staff has truly gone above and beyond for my fiancé and I’s little dog family in so many ways and I am heartbroken that we have to leave them as we move to Ohio!
We’ve been taking classes for nearly 2 yrs and contracted with them to train a dog to be a psychiatric service dog. The, mostly female, staff has help me transform my rescue dog into my service dog. I’ve learned so much from the trainers and am so appreciative. The staff have high expectations of humans and dogs, providing corrections, praise or encouragement as needed. There is a atmosphere of support and community.I would recommend All Dawgs classes to anyone looking to improve their ability to communicate with their dog. I would also recommend them for folks looking to train with their dog for agility competition, Therapy dog certification or service dog status. There are a wide variety of classes for all levels, from novice to master, just for fun to competitive or professional. The property where they lease space isn’t ideal, but they make the best of it. It’s functional, if it’s not fashionable. They are raising money for a better facility. The poster on the wall depicts a training facility with a pool! The old saying about not judging books by their cover applies to the building. The people and experience are superior to the façade. I suspect a fancier building would have made classes too expensive for me.Speaking of price, I think the cost is well worth the training you get. A 6 wk class costs the same as 6 wks of group swim lessons at the YMCA. I was unaware what classes typically cost prior to researching service dog training and consider the prices at All Dawgs more than fair and reasonable. They also have Day care and boarding school, but we’ve not used those yet. The boarding school is like boot camp for dogs.
All Dawgs has been great! We werent sure what to expect when we first got our puppy but we wanted to be responsible parents and make sure we were doing things that were best for the dog. Starting with their puppy class, my wife and I learned so much from the All Dawgs team and have been able to do things with our Dolly that we never thought possible. Weve now completed 3 classes, and Dolly spends 1 day a week at Dawgie Day Care to make sure shes well socialized. Weve also had Dolly attend a two week boarding school for intensive training. We truely cant do justice in explaining how much All Dawgs has taught us (and Dolly). All Dawgs makes us feel like family and we have a much happier household because of them.
We had a great experience with All Dawgs! The owner, Diane is professional, kind, hardworking and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable. Any question we asked, she knew! It is very evident the passion Diane has for dogs! I would definitely recommend, All Dawgs!
My husband and I love All Dawgs! Not only have they been huge helps in helping us re-learning to train our puppy Sullivan, but they have also been amazing in working with us to help with behavior issues with our chocolate lab, Ryleigh. Mellisa is just awesome and has gone above and beyond to accommodate us, and been especially patient with all the questions as well! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do training
I read quite a few reviews about this place being money hungry and I wasnt 100% sure if it was true until I came in contact with them. I would like to say I have not brought my dog here but after my experience I certainly will not. I reached out to All Dawgs because I am traveling to Albany and wanted my dog to go into daycare for one or two of the days I was there for him to be social. Even after all of the negative reviews I still decided to reach out just to see. I did receive a quick response but what they say was ridiculous. They require you to sign a monthly commitment after the first day!! WHAT!?! That is absolutely ridiculous, what if your dog doesnt like it or is too young and just not ready for it? Any other place will offer daycare packages or daily rates and most places will even give your first day free or at a discounted price. To require a monthly commitment shows their true colors that they dont care about anything except the money. I travel back to Albany quite frequently and it wouldve been nice to have a place that I know my dog could go to for some socialization but I certainly will not be going here even when we move back!
We used All Dawgs for puppy training class, in-home behavioral training and Doggie Day Care and have been pleased with everything. My cousin runs a highly successful doggie day care in Texas and gave us several recommendations on credentials to look for and other tips when we first brought our puppy Harper home. All Dawgs has the well-trained staff we were looking for. All staff are friendly and professional, happy to answer questions and love and know the dogs and owners they serve. Harper is happy to arrive and comes out happy and tired from a day of play and affection. If I had to think of one thing Id like to see, it would be a webcam in the daycare like some others offer, so that we could peek in on Harper during the day.
My dog and I went through training for two major issues: separation anxiety and fear-based aggression. Nearly a year later, his aggressive behavior is manageable and with lots of desensitization training, he’s improved tremendously. We have also gone from leaving him alone for a few minutes to up to 4 hours with no unwanted behavior. I worked with both Diane and LuAnn and found each of them professional, supportive, and deeply knowledgeable. The actionable “homework” made the training really doable and sustainable. The cost is steep, but in my case, I am so glad we did it. I would highly recommend them for specialized training.
I have had a great experience with Diane (owner) and All Dawgs. My beagle puppy George and Rottweiler mix Ruthie have attended Reactive Rover classes! Each class we have learned technics to use and what a difference we have made! Luann the instructor of this class is also very helpful, always giving advice and ideas of how to correct a behavior they may have. The staff that has assisted us are so helpful and Diane is always available to us if we have any questions or concerns!George and I have also attended Puppy Training and had a lot of success with that class as well.If you are looking for a place to train your puppy or dog, GO TO ALL DAWGS!!!!!!!
My dog and I absolutely love All Dawgs! My dog goes to daycare here and it’s perfect for getting out all of his energy, it’s helped with his separation anxiety, and he’s got so many best friends! The staff here are amazing, honestly the best. Recently, my dog had a health scare and it turned out he went into severe anaphylactic shock from a spider bite/bee sting. His symptoms came on suddenly that morning while he was at daycare and they contacted me right away when they saw that something was wrong and he was not his usual self. Timing was everything and I got him to the hospital right away and able to tell the vet what symptoms the staff communicated with me. I feel so fortunate he was at daycare that day. The staff reached out to me a few times to check in and see how he was feeling because they really love the dogs they work with, as well as gifting me a refund for the 2 weeks he needed to recover. Best daycare ever, my pup is going to have a long happy life playing at All Dawgs!
Im sure this place would be great if you start your puppy here but it is NOT great if you are trying to pick up a higher level course with your dog. Ive been in classes with my dog all over the area since she was 12 weeks old. We mainly do agility and nosework and it is for my dogs enjoyment and enrichment. We do agility at SDTC and have been for over a year. Back in November there was a break in classes because of the holiday and I wanted to stay enrolled in agility classes even if my normal facility didnt have them. The only place with open spots was all dawgs so I reached out and told them I was at the novice handling level and looking to do coursework while my normal facility was taking a holiday break. They told me I would have to do an assessment before I could be placed. I said thats fine I can absolutely understand that except the placement test had nothing to do with agility. It was a 1 minute sit stay 1 minute down stay. Recall. Reactivity test. Sit for petting. And loose leash walking. My dog can do all of these things. We show up for the test which COSTS MONEY by the way!? That was the first red flag. We walk back to the test area which is held in the same area as the daycare aka the entire place REEKS of dog. The floor is foam that soaks up scents ( SDTC has mats as well but they are changed out and refreshed and kept clean and free of scents) and I knew that I wasnt going to be able to get a loose leash walk without treats because I was competing against a new place with intense dog scents and no form of reward for getting focus. We pass everything except for the loose leash walk and the owner tells me she has to fail me even though a loose leash walk isnt necessary in agility. It would be nice in her words. So Im forced to enroll in an obedience class that costs more than any other obedience class Ive been in so far. The treats are peddled at the beginning of class and we are proofing things that my dog solidly knows and its very clear I do not belong in this class in the slightest. I end up stopping classes because the owners preference for obedience training classes is very clear as well as forcing you into classes you dont need so she can get more money from you. I ended up stopping going to class because the holidays were busy, the drive was far, and the classes were frankly a waste of my time. That winter a dog who took agility at all dawgs joined our agility class. The dog and handler both had no knowledge in handling skills and had only been shown obstacles with no foundations built to set them up to actually run a course. They are doing amazing 6 months later after getting proper agility handling instruction but I just dont think you will get that at all dawgs. I wouldve loved to have first hand experience in an all dawgs agility class but it would be roughly $400 before I could do that and Id rather give that to a facility I know is motivated by improving me and my dog and not lining their pockets and getting me to take as many expensive classes as possible. Also I want to note Im not opposed to retaking classes to proof skills that still need work I did that plenty at other facilities including SDTC.
I have been in a number of classes working toward therapy dog status for my cocker. In addition to the classes I have also taken advantage of private lessons. Every experience has been great. The teachers are consistent amongst them no matter who you get for class. You learn not only what to do but why you need to do it as instructed. The good humor of the instructors is just an added bonus.
After I adopted by GSD Kody last November, I knew it was important to start obedience training as part of his socialization process. (Our first visit to the vets office was not a pleasant experience, to say the least.) I found All Dawgs on the Web, and decided to pay a visit to the facility.Diane, the owner, could not have been nicer, considering I showed up unannounced. We talked about Kodys training needs, and I decided to sign up for the 6 week beginner obedience course. It was a great experience - the class size was small, the facility was clean and safe (heavy rubber matting covering the entire floor), and my dog greatly benefited. Were now into our second course, intermediate obedience, and I take Kody to the doggy day care at All Dawgs as well.I highly recommend All Dawgs!
Having now worked with another trainer after leaving All Dawgs I have much better context on what a hoax this outfit is. I had my dog removed from daycare and signature forged on a document saying no refunds. To which my phone calls to reach the owner have gone unanswered for 2 months now. Every encounter was about trying to sell me something, not help me dog. I apologize to the 2 or 3 good trainers I had experiences with for this 1-star review, but the company is a reflection of its ownership- and All Dawgs goal it to make as much off you as they can, regardless of if it helps your dog or not.
Ive been taking Lincoln to the All Dawgs Apprentice training class and hes learning sooo much. But, more importantly, so am I. Diane and LuAnn are great instructors. They teach the practical skills, explain the logic behind them (this is really important to me), and give great real-life examples. They also keep things moving along at a good pace and manage the room of dogs (and their owners) like real pros. Were already signed up for Whos Walking Who, the follow-up Masters class, and some one-on-one training to help him get over his nail trimming phobia. E-collar Recall is coming. And I have visions for Lincoln bobbing and weaving his way through an agility course as soon as hes ready!
I brought my dog Greenlea to All Dawgs because she kept running away. Diane worked with us using the recall collar and stopped that behavior. Later I was unable to care for Greenlea for a while and she was cared for by many people and learning some unwanted behaviors. Diane worked 1 - 1 with us to get her behavior under control. Later we took several classes which were all very helpful. We then realized my dream of having her be a therapy dog like her father. We still take classes and love attending the activities that they have for socialization and fun. I am hoping the All Dawgs is able to build their new facility and have the ability to hold more classes at times that work better for us.
I signed up for a 3 week leash class. Place is very dirty and smells. In warehouse so with trains and the instructor yelling (as bad sound), my 10 month old dog was scared. Instructor said she didn’t believe in harnesses and pushing prong collars and selling them. Put one on the dog and while the dog certainly responded, she was terrified and growled when I took it off which has never happened before. Now she is terrified of any collar and getting out of the car so trying to use treats and positive reinforcement to get over the trauma. I never went back as did not like the focus on negative reinforcement.
What a wonderful places to be. The Staff is so friendly and they really are helpful to you to help your pet! The key factor is the staff wants you to succeed in all aspects of the training!
AllDawgs helped us SO much and all the trainers were very professional and knowledgable. We worked with them when we first got our dog, and she wanted desperately to eat the cat. And the cat wanted to murder her. It was a bad situation and we thought she might not work out in our house, but we had a trainer from alldawgs come out and help us with house hold integration. It took a few months of homework on our part, but now the cat and dog are good buddies.More recently, we did the ecollar training. Diane clearly had the experience to make it as smooth and painless for everyone as possible and emphasized positive reinforcement. We are very happy with this training, havent even needed the ecollar since the first couple of weeks and our dog is so happy to run free off the leash when we are in an appropriate setting. Highly recommend!
Our dog Piper has been using All dawgs services for about six months now. We enrolled her first in the Apprentice class where she learned basic commands (sit, stay, down, place, come, etc). We had already taught her the majority of these at home but knew that getting her out to see other dogs and meet other people was important. Our instructors, Ashley and Veronica, were thorough, informative, patient and always answered our questions. We enjoyed the results of that class so much that did Who’s Walking Who and Dawg Manners. We even enrolled her into Doggie Daycare to get out her energy, a much needed thing. Although we wish there were more pictures of Piper on Facebook, we understand that she is constantly moving and probably just doesn’t sit still. All of the staff members are friendly and you can tell that they love the dogs just as much as their owners do.
When I first brought Mars here he was a reactive dog and I was afraid to take him out in public. We went thru reactive rover class and I was taught how to control my dog, The instructors were great and listened to me and helped me every step of the way. I have continued with classes and am very pleased with the results. In each sucessive class I have learned more and more. My dog has become very well behaved, with lots of work and doing the homework I am given each week. I can now take my dog into Petsmart and out in public .He listens and behaves like a totally differant dog. I am so pleased with these classes. Every instructor has been helpful and encouraging! I couldnt have done this without Diane and her wonderful staff. We have passed Master Dawgs and are looking forward to Agility for fun in the Spring ! Mars really loves the peanut butter bones Diane makes also!
Thank you All Dawgs! My two-year old Golden Retriever Haylea is a very sweet dog, but very energetic, especially around company. She’s been going to All Dawgs Play and Train Daycare for 1 1/2 years and we’ve also done several training classes. I find their training classes to be enjoyable for both my dog and me - stress-free and nonjudgmental. I am happy to report that this training has really paid off. Our two grandsons, ages 9 and 5 just spent 10 days with us and Haylea behaved wonderfully. She didn’t jump on the kids, showed off her skills like sit, down, paw and stayed on her climb when told to. Thanks to All Dawgs, kids and dog are now best friends. Couldn’t have done it without you guys!Bonnie & Haylea Bender
I go to the agility for fun class at AllDawgs. Diane is great at setting up challenging courses and helping us to navigate them. I like the challenge, it helps my dog and I to learn some tougher scenarios than I usually see. And we have fun too!
Our dog Renny has been going to daycare everyday for the last year. They train him daily and we have taken almost every class they offer. The care they show my dog is consistent and amazing. His trainer, Ashley, is also amazing. We are now doing Rally and Renny loves it. We love them.
The Two Dianes are awesome trainers. Our 8 month old Yellow lab has learn so much in a short period of time. They give us the tools to continue training after the the sessions have completed. Knowledgeable and courteous staff. Central location to the Capital District. A++
We adopted our dog from a rescue and she had pretty bad separation anxiety when we went off to work. Being able to be around other dogs and trainers in a safe environment I saw an improvent not only with the barking and separation anxiety but with meeting new dogs when we were outside. All Dwags is amazing at what they do which is a natural training and socialization. Our dog is much calmer now when left alone and much more confident around other dogs.
Very disappointed with my experience. I jumped through all the hoops they required, taking extra classes before the main one I needed- which I paid in advance for. They say they have a strict cancelation policy but they canceled several weeks of classes and were not helpful when i asked for support when things between my dogs escalated to an unmanageable level. I had to seek help elsewhere. I never finished the extra training classes because of their cancellations. And they will not give me my money back for the training Class i never started. I do not recommend. The price of what you get is not worth their basic classes. Save your money and Google it.
Cody has been attending doggie daycare since last September and he absolutely loves it! He is so excited to go every week. We have attended several classes and Cody has become much easier to handle. He is a very energetic 1 1/2 year old Golden. I too was sad to see that some of the trainers have left but I have not had a bad experience. I do wish they offered webcams like some other daycares but other than that, we are very satisfied.
Working with Diane was the best thing I did for our littles, especially Ms. Lexi. When we first rescued her she was scared and very confused and her emotions were reflected in her negative behavior. After the first lesson, Lexis behavior started to change and she only progressed from there. Today she is a happy and playful little girl. We still have things to work on but we learned that it really comes down to the humans that need the training. Thanks Diane for giving us the proper perspective and some great tools for our pack!
This place is neglectful, unhygienic, greedy for money, and prejudicei went with my dad and step mother to one of the puppy classes, they barely taught the dogs anything and you basically pay for the dogs to walk around a hot, disgusting, smelly warehouse for an hour. they didnt teach the puppies anything and all they did was set up stupid obstacles for the dogs to “build up their confidence” on. one of the “trainers” was very rude to a woman who couldnt speak english well and it seemed like he was singling her out and gave her an attitude from the very beginning of the class. my step mom told me the third class they went to, her puppy literally overheated and was sick the rest of the night because of how hot the warehouse was. the rest of the puppies also overheated and the trainers wont give peoples money back. its very obvious that they dont care about dogs well being and all they want is money.
My 10 month old puppy was injured at All Dawgs due to lack of supervision. He was bitten by another dog and had deep punctures and a chunk of skin bitten out of his back and neck - and yet no one saw what happened! What was almost as bad was how the owner and office manager minimized it and invalidated our upset. They called his punctures boo boos and scratches. Now Im just hoping my dogs bad experience doesnt taint his future interactions with other dogs. The staff who actually supervise the dogs seem disgruntled. The owners claim that the staff are all dog trainers is a blatant lie. After talking to a couple staff in casual conversation, it came out they were not trainers. Shady business. Theyre all about money and not the welfare of the dogs. They are very secretive. Clients can never see their dogs playing or even go in the back. My dog also contracted the flu there. Yes the flu - not kennel cough! Still had to pay for missed days due to illness he got there! The bottom line is - they dont care about the dogs, just the money. Anything could happen there - in the back - where no one can see whats going on. I feel so bad for my dog and like I failed to keep him safe by trusting these rotten people.
The staff is very knowledgeable and we feel very comfortable leaving Myles in their care. We started bringing Myles to AllDawgs since he was a puppy. He is now 4 years young! Yes it is a bit costly but Myles LOVES it and it is worth every penny to see him so happy.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I have a 7 month old Golden Retriever, shy and timid, they are awesome with him! They answered all my questions (over and over again, I was nervous to leave my little guy all day!) They post daily updates on Facebook with pictures. Best place to train a dog and make them more confident! I’m VERY happy! Thanks All Dawgs, we love it!
Love All Dawgs! Awesome and knowledgeable staff. Everyone there has great insights about dogs. The daycare rocks & the training classes are extremely beneficial. Cant speak highly enough of this place!
UPDATE: I don’t care that you tried telling me about your lame policies 3,000 grand is a lot to ROB from someone when an emergency happened. You robbed multiple people before and you’re trying to give her a gift card for it yet you have multiple dogs who have been injured at your place. Smh pathetic.I’d give 0 if I could. My partner signed her dog up for dog training camp. 3,000+ dollars and not even being able to attend the dog camp because her dog was unexpectedly hit by a car and now she doesn’t even know how she’s gonna pay for his medical bills now that All Dawgs is refusing a refund. Imagine being that insensitive that you said you’ll issue as a “gift card“ for when he’s ready to go back to camp. HE MIGHT NOT EVEN MAKE IT. And imagine being paid to write good reviews because you don’t even have legit “dog training ” staff. And having your employees even disclose that it’s a fraud. Yikes. What a shady business. Some of the other reviews I read have my mind blown. Smh. If you have a good lawyer and you have been ripped off by All Dawgs I’d fight for yourself. Thousands of dollars is a lot to lose and Half the stuff they have done to people said by other reviewers isn’t even legal. like forging someone’s signature on a NO REFUND waiver. Shame on you people. Now my gf and I have to suffer and potentially lose our baby boy. Clearly they only care about money. I mean look at the owners responses to the negative reviews. (Especially the ones about them being money hungry , not refunding and even someone’s dog being injured. )The proof is right there. She just enjoys robbing people of their money.
Terrible. Not even worth 1 star. We tried the puppy dawgz class with our 8 week old golden retriever and the trainer tried to make an example of her and got visibly frustrated with her when she wouldnt train for a behavior in 2 seconds in front of the rest of the class. Shes an 8 week old puppy, get a clue! Not to mention walking in and out of classes with our baby with the owner and other trainers YELLING at us to use your magnets with the unhealthy treats they recommended. Wasted so much money and time at this place. The 5 star ratings are probably friends of the owner. Go elsewhere for your furbabes sake.
My three fur kids and I worked with LuAnn in the household integration in home training. She was beyond wonderful and helped me get on the right track with my fur kids with dog to dog aggression. Knowledgeable, personable, relatable. Would absolutely recommended!!
Great place for daycare and training. Our dog had taken multiple classes and we always leave with increased confidence in her abilities.
Diane cant keep employees for more than a couple months. She sees every customer as a dollar sign. She doesnt care about the dogs, she just cares how much money she can make. She tries to scare her employees into staying with an illegal and unenforceable non compete/non disclosure. Her classes are filled with gimmicky concepts that only she can accomplish to keep people coming back. For the sake of your dog, take them elsewhere.
I have had nothing but positive interactions with. My young puppy was driving me up the wall... a short few months later he is well on his way to becoming a licensed therapy dog. And I owe all of his progress to them!
Staff here cant clean up the dog poop in their yard or parking lot. Why would I trust them with my animal? Have witnessed their employees leaving their own dogs in cars during warmer months. Do not bring your pet here.
I have nothing but great things to say about All Dawgs. They are truly exceptional when it comes to training your dog.
Have brought all of my dogs here. Always happy with the results
Couldnt be happier with the progress my dog is making. The All Dawgs crew really knows dogs. My dog and I will definitely be back for more classes and definitely Doggie Daycare.
I have been working with all dogs now for about a year and I can tell you if you want a partner that is truly interested in the well-being and a training to the new addition of your family All Dawgs is the placeDiane and her staff are awesome with their instruction and interaction and if you do your part you will have a great addition to your family .The classes really gave me a chance to bond with my granddaughterAs we prepared our mini golden doodle Seamus to be a therapy dog I would highly recommend All Dawgs to everyone and anyone that is looking to have a well mannered and trained dogPS if youre looking for a daycare I would highly recommend theres your dog has a great Time Interacting with dogs their own size under a supervised environment
Took the puppy class with my Dalmatian..great experience..a lot of good information…kept the puppies busy..trainers were knowledgeable and patient
My dog lasted three days here. They signed up me up for a months worth of visits, then kicked my dog out an kept the money. Horrible people. My dog came back quite sick. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.
I love the way Diane teaches, she is dedicated in helping handlers properly train their dogs.
Diane and her staff are very welcoming and understanding. They take the time to get to know your dog and its individual needs. At all times they are conscientious and anticipating the next best steps for training your dog. Her services are reasonably priced for all the value she provides. All Dawgs has been good to us.
Everyone there is very knowledgeable, friendly polite and very helpful. Pleasant atmosphere, and clean. My dog Thor loves it there gets excited when we pull in.
Great puppy daycare. My pup made friends learned to socialize and was worn out by the end of the day. Id highly recommend this place to others
Without Diane and ALL DAWGS, Taffy would not be the star he is today. Taffy passed his Therapy Dog and CGC exams and moved out into the world. Airport, nursing homes, hospice care home, and library for childrens reading program. He has completed the requirements for Therapy Dog- Excellent (200 visitations) and continues to serve. He is a 4-year old, male, ruby-colored, CKC. He wins hearts wherever he goes.
Safe supportive learning environment, creative problem solving, specific and helpful feedback, wide range of classes for all levels of training, a fun place to learn for owner and dog!
I hate to give this place even 1 star. if you love your dogs, take them elsewhere! this place is horrible. careful on the good reviews you see, clients are given $15 credits to leave a positive review!
They work miracles at All Dawgs!! The team is amazing and everyone working there is a friend to dogs. I highly recommend daycare and behavioral training!!!
Doing puppy training. Class is great with an excellent instructor.
Smart and friendly staff. Easy to work with. They really help you understand what you need to accomplish to get your desired outcome.
Great experience with our puppies! They have given us valuable tools to help us to train and work with our puppies for socialization and behavior. Bear and Jake go to doggie daycare three times a week and are very excited about going. We hope to continue on this positive path of growth.
Wonderful people who know their way around dogs, AND their owners. We have taken two classes so far: loose leash walking and the apprentice dog training class. The trainers are very accommodating and very patient. We also have our dog in All Dawgs doggy daycare including the option of personalized training. All Dawgs is helping us establish a good foundational relationship with our dog. Its fun, it rewarding, and good for us and our dog!
We had private lessons with Luann to try and address crazy barking at the door and windows. Since I have two dogs who encourage each other, I was at a loss how to proceed with training. Luann was patient with all three of us, very professional and skilled. She was wonderful in interpreting what the dogs were thinking and how to reset their habits. More work needed, but I know how to move forward now.
They are sweet they helped me an my Jasmyn and she will be going back.
I have done my own training and felt confident in my abilities, however I knew I needed added distractions and someone experienced enough to help bounce my ideas off of, to grow my knowledge and my service dog training with my dog. This is where Diane and All Dawgs came into play. Diane and her teams style of training is very similar to mine. You can tell that they love what they do and want to help you succeed in whatever you are looking to accomplish. They by far, exceed in fulfilling their part, you just need to do yours and the goals you have for your dog will be achieved. I am truly sad that I do not live in the area to continue my relationship, as you not only learn, but you have fun. To top it all off they are the only place for doggie daycare that allows intact dogs! How great is that?! They allow you to make the choices for your animal and not that you have to get them spayed or neutered, in order to be able to get socialization. They also do not allow bad habits to form while they are at daycare, so you know the training you have put in, will not be undone. I am not one to write reviews unless I believe in what Im writing on. I believe in All Dawgs and Diane, I just wish I had found them sooner!
They have a great indoor play area to rent for a dog party.
All Dawgs Training is just what I was looking for. It offers a variety of classes that build on basic obedience foundations. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful answering all questions you might have. They will redirect you and work with you until you and your dog learn the skill. I truly feel they have helped me to enjoy my dog and they helped us to become a great working team. Im proud to say we passed our therapy dog test and I could not have done it without all the help from All Dawgs!! Their daycare is also excellent. My dog loves it and is always ready to go! Im glad they offer this service as my dog is well socialized and we can bring him anywhere. I look forward to taking additional classes!!! I highly recommend All Dawgs to any dog owner.
We have used Dianes services for years. She is an excellent trainer and truly cares about our dogs. My highly energetic, very young golden retriever spent two weeks in her boarding school recently and came home so well-behaved that I thought I might have picked up the wrong dog!
I wish there was a way to give zero stars. The place has gone downhill since 2017. Not enough staff and not enough trained staff. Dogs get hurt non stop
These guys really really love dogs and are super orientated towards training and care.
Our family and our puppy Piper have been working with Diane and All Dawgs for a year now, beginning with Puppy Kindergarten. Weve engaged in both the group lessons and private lessons in our home. We couldnt be happier. Diane and her staff have been extremely informative, positive and patient with us. They have encouraged the involvement of our two children in the training process. Our training experience has been a wonderful journey.
I have brought my dog here for almost a year now. And honestly I love how well behaved he is and how he listens. Sadly I dont think I will be returning because my favorite daycare instructor left. Cody was a very inspiring young man. Always said hi to me or my wife an shook our hand and told us what our little boy did all day and how well he did. Just knowing he loves his job as you can see. You can tell he is going to go far. He will be missed. And I will be taking my services elsewhere.
We have brought both our Corgis to puppy kindergarten and to beginner obedience classes and are very happy with the outcomes. The staff was friendly and supportive. We plan on participating in more classes this fall.
Only cares about the money. Not about the dogs or the customers. High employee turnover rate does not help matters. Stay away from here
I trained all 3 of my Doberman with Alldawgs and I couldnt be happier with the results. The staff is well educated and always takes time to answer any questions the class might have. One of my Dobes is in the daycare there and they take great care of her. I used the weekend pet sitting service once when I was called out of town without having to worry about my dogs or cats. I trust them implicitly.
Diane has great common sense dog training, no outrageous training routines. I was having such a problem with my Springer Spaniel. I had gotten advice from multiple trainer. Nothing seemed to work or I thought the trainer was crazy. I got in touch with All Dawgs and now my Springer is a better dog thanks to both Dianes. Everyone at All Dawgs is great.
When I decided to get a large breed puppy late last summer, I knew obedience training would be imperative for us. I had never had a puppy before, and wanted to ensure that we could share a safe and happy life together. I therefore did a lot of research on local training facilities, and ultimately elected to enter this journey with Diane Blackman and her staff at All Dawgs. I could not have made a better decision. Since September 2015, my puppy and I have attended Puppy K, Beginner Obedience, Intermediate Obedience, and are now enrolled in Therapy Dog Prep. We have also done a number of private training sessions and have utilized the facilitys rink rental. I have been extremely happy with each and every service provided, not to mention the high level of care and instruction I have received from each of their staff members.Puppy K was a great introduction to obedience training and socialization for my pup, and I felt like we got a lot of one-on-one attention from the instructors, as the classes here are small and led by two instructors. Each new class picks up generally around where the last one left off, and we now have quite a solid foundation of obedience skills. Plus, my dog is now very comfortable around other dogs and has gained a lot of confidence in general. She is still less than 8 months old, yet friends and family marvel at how well mannered and behaved she is. It has made life at home pretty easy as well, as I have not had any major behavioral issues aside from general (and pretty innocuous) puppy stuff. Each time I do have a question or concern, though, I dont hesitate to contact Diane or Melissa Halloran (with whom we had Puppy K-and take our private lessons-and to whom I give the most credit for my dogs wonderful progress), who both answer emails and phone communication promptly and thoroughly.I really cant speak highly enough about the service and instruction I have received here, and was actually really surprised by some of the other reviews. It looks like many of them are quite old, though, and probably outdated, and the fact that I currently see repeat clients in my classes and around the facility at other advanced classes I think speaks for itself.
Not a place i would ever bring my dog back to , money hungry and doesnt seem to care about the dogs .
I just started my classes and I am finding it very helpful and informative.
Sadly I DO NOT recommend All Dawgs Training. As a long time client of this program I am sad to report that All Dawgs has turned their focus from dog training to one giant sales pitch. They have raised their prices and lowered their quality of training. I am currently enrolled in a class I have taken with another one of my dogs in the past and am very disappointed in the change. EVERY class is a big sales pitch to buy something the program is selling. In addition this specific class requires that your dog knows certain commands in order to participate, however a lot of what we continue to work on are basic commands that our dogs already knew prior to starting the class. The trainer of this particular class is completed obnoxious and comes across disinterested in teaching and rude to participants. Unfortunately the class was a waste of money. It will be the last class I will take with All Dawgs.
Love it
Im a long time client and enjoy working with my dogs here
I had a less than favorable experience
Fabulous trainers. Exceptional daycare and classes
The best trainers around, bar none.
Horrible place. Send your dog someplace safe.
Would never ever trust my pup here!!
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Always willing to help
Great Place for dogs.
Great staff
