Grrreendog Grooming and Spa

I’ve used Grrreendog for grooming about twice before this last one and didn’t find anything to complain about, nice people and good service, but picking up my puppy this last time broke my heart. I dropped my pup off at 9:30am and she wasn’t ready to be picked up until almost 2:30pm. The worker explained that they are having staffing struggles which I understood, but I do think that regardless, quality should be there. My dog did have some knots in her coat so the groomer said she had to use shears, however her cut was still not okay. It was very uneven and choppy with longer pieces in a lot of areas and some areas almost to the skin. On the way home, I noticed blood coming from her paw as well, and the next day nicks on her belly. I am not upset, more disappointed that I paid $115 (not including tip) and my puppy didn’t have a great experience. I don’t believe this place is bad, but I do believe they are having a hard time with the load of work for their size of staff. I don’t think I’ll be returning after this but I hope that they find the help they need to prevent situations like this in the future.(First photo is most recent, second is fromher last cut)

They are so great to the dogs here. I’m super protective of my dog, she’s very petit and mostly scared to death of large dogs. I’ve brought Lily here twice, my tiny little Maltese. She isn’t scared to go and even better is that she’s not scared when she leaves, and doesn’t mind coming. That’s how I know they treat the dogs well. They take great care with your pups. Well worth the cost. In a day and age where it’s probably near impossible to hire and find staff that care, the owner has found great people to add to her business. I will keep bringing Lily here.

I brought my puppy here and I was pleased at first I even scheduled a second appointment. However once I got him home I noticed he was still matted on his leg (it was the only spot he had mattes) and I told them about it when I brought him in and they did not get the mattes out or shave them off. I also paid quite a bit for the grooming so I would expect more. And the thing that really bothered me was I called and left a message to cancel his second appointment because I found a new place to go and I let them know about the matting. (This was also only days after his appointment) I got a text that they canceled the appointment but they never called me back about the mattes I noticed which I find extremely unprofessional.

I cannot praise this place enough. My dog absolutely loves it there. On the days he goes to daycare, he sits by the door in the morning until we go. They take such incredible care of my dog, and he is a handful. I don’t have a single worry about him when he’s there, and I feel confident that he’s not only taken care of but also that the people caring for him are genuinely invested in his well-being and development. When I pick him up from daycare, they give me a run-down of how his day was, how he did on his mind puzzle, etc. The staff that work there are so kind and caring. If I forget to call to let them know that he won’t be there, they’ll call me to make sure everything is okay (which embarrassingly has happened more than once). You cannot find a more dedicated and caring group of people to trust with your dog.

DO NOT PUT YOUR DOG IN DAYCARE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT PUT YOUR DOG IN DAYCARE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I witnessed my dog being absolutely HORRIBLY mistreated by an older looking woman wearing a cap with glasses and a long ponytail dragging my dog across the room by a leash and yelling at the dogs. I stuck around and witnessed her not paying attention at all, using her cell phone and yanking on leashes practically strangling the dogs. There was feces left in the middle of the room that she clearly did not care to clean, and had to be picked up by a younger worker. It is absolutely HORRIFYING that this place employs such people to mistreat their dogs!!!!!!!!!!

5 stars isn’t enough!! Sundance and her crew are amazing. We have been using their services for more than 10 years now and have watched them successfully grow their business which has just been amazing to watch. They care for your animals like they are their own. Their top priority is the safety of your beloved pet and the health of their skin, coat, and overall well-being. We have long-hair and thick-coat animals. They have saved many mats and prevented our pups from developing bad skin conditions as a result. As one would expect, spot-cutting mats leaves quite the hairstyle but it’s better than a full shave or irritated skin and we appreciate the careful and skillful work they do with these challenge coats. Also one of our girls is a tri-paw and they made this beautiful apparatus to help her stand and be more comfortable during her grooming (the dog is also lazy so it helps to keep her standing too lol). I can’t say enough wonderful things about these people and the business they have created. ❤️

Theyre the best! Ive now taken my dog Marcy to Grrreendog 3 times. Once for a puppy groom and twice for a full groom. Every time theyve done an amazing job, but most importantly Marcy really seems to love the staff and the staff clearly care for and love the animals. The grooming area is within view from the front desk, and I cant believe how calm and relaxed Marcy looks with them, and when its time to leave she wants to keep playing with everyone. Excellent cuts, they listen to what you want, your dog smells great afterwards, and they use non harmful shampoos.

My dog Lulu goes to Doggie Day Care at Grrreendog. It is so different from other doggie day cares where dogs just run back and forth all day long. At Grrreendog, the care takers actually put together a daily lesson plan and provide my dog with enrichment. The dogs have a nap time and sometimes a story time. Lulu loves going there and she actually learns things there!! I would highly recommend it. What a wonderful place!

I highly recommend Grrreendog Grooming..!! They were very accommodating with my appointment. They took both of my dogs at the same time..and who came back to me happy, bright, shiny and CLEAN..! The staff was so great with my senior dog who needed extra TLC and also so great with my younger one who was very energetic. The biggest thing.. they were able to trim down the younger ones nails, when no one has been able to..!!! They really understand dogs! 🐕👍❤

They cut all the fur off my Maltipoo. The dog had a beautiful coat of fur. I asked them to groom the dog per a picture I had of the dog, instead they shaved the dog down to his skin.

Appointment was easy to make & there was little or no wait. My rescue is very shy, scared of the vet & new people. We came in for a nose to toes grooming & they let me go back and comfort my dog while the groomer worked. My dog was way more comfortable and looked great when we left. Will be back soon :)

Mom’s boy Max is a large, sweet 12 year old Goldendoodle who has difficulty standing for too long due to arthritis. His previous long time groomer dropped him because he required too much time and attention to groom. One other groomer took him once but would not allow him back for the same reason. I called Grrreendog Grooming (who, I should add, happily agreed to groom him a couple of times in the past when his long time groomer didn’t show up). Grrreendog didn’t hesitate to to take him again, even with his limitations. Their main concern is the comfort and happiness of the animal, which is a great comfort!We were given the first appointment of the day and Sam and Brooke greeted us with big smiles when we arrived. The atmosphere is calm and soothing with a background noise of comforting outdoor sounds, birds, etc. Sam and Brooke assessed Max’s needs (he was a real mess as he hadn’t been groomed in several months). They assured me that they would bathe and groom him and allow him all the time he needed (rests, water, etc.). I felt very lucky and happy leaving him in their capable hands! When I returned a couple of hours later, I couldn’t believe my eyes! He was absolutely beautiful, clean, smelled wonderful and as happy and calm as could be!! I am beyond delighted with everything about Grrreendog, most especially the caring, loving staff who took such great care of mom’s precious boy and mom was thrilled too! There are no other groomers in the area that truly care enough about your beloved pet and provide the time and attention that many senior dogs may require. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a happy experience, whether your pet is young or aging! I would give them 100+ stars if I could! My schnoodle is highly anxious and doesnt like to ne groomed. Took her to Grrreendog today for a nails trim and Angela was super awesome! She is gentle and calming and got the job done quickly and effortlessly. My pup wasnt shaking at the end of it and actually wagged her tail ! Highly recommend this place.

Everyone at Grrreendog is friendly and highly skilled at grooming dogs. I have 2 Doodles who are not easy to groom. They have lots of hair and one has lots of kinky curls. It doesn’t matter to the groomers, the pups always look great. And I love that they only use green products. Travis and Zeke have sensitive skin and they tolerate these products really well. In addition they feel so soft and cuddly. You can’t go wrong at Grrreendog Grooming and Spa.

They take great care of my dog (who can get nervous) and always make him feel comfortable. He comes home happy and looking and smelling great. Plus, I feel good about the products they use, especially since my puppy has sensitive skin. If you are in need of a groomer, go here!

I USED to be a frequent flyer with Grrreendog Grooming. I always felt my dog was well taken care of. She came back smelling fresh as a daisy, soft and well brushed. Nails were trimmed, fur trimmed, etc. The last time I brought her, they did a horrible job. I paid $85 for a bath, fur trim, nail trim, and teeth brush. They only bathed her, and not well either. I learned they lost two of their top groomers who always took care of my dog. The people they have there now did not do a good job at all, and I wont be going back. The worst part is, I think they KNEW they didnt do a good job, because they didnt look me in the eye when I picked my dog up and they were trying to rush me out the door.

Our groomer could not have been more accommodating to my elderly special needs dog, Lucy. I asked that her cut be low maintenance and comfortable for Lucy whatever that looks like. I went to pick up my dog and she was beautifully groomed, smelled good and had the cutest puppy cut. Sundance took the time to cater to Lucys medical needs and age and was wonderful. We are definitely going back for Lucys future grooming needs.

Can’t recommend Grrreendog enough! We adopted an 8 year old poodle who suffers from anxiety and she loves getting groomed here. The staff is talented, friendly, and treat my dog, Bella, like gold. We look forward to seeing Brooke and the rest of the crew at Grrreendog every month!

The employees who greeted me were pleasant. They communicated via text until the appointment. Drop off and pick up we’re two different employees.Upon entering, this was my puppies and my first visit, she was scared. It was hard to talk to the groomer, because there were 3-4 adults barking next to her.Puppies first visit- trims the face, paws, nails and privates. You drop your pup off, you can’t stay and watch. The quoted price was reasonable and it was what I paid.They kept her behind the door until I paid, the card inserted, the tip screen was up, then my pup was released. Truthfully I didn’t think about it until I drove away, it happened so fast. But I didn’t see her until after I paid. And my pup was trying to get to me behind the door, when I entered, which now I think about, why didn’t they let her.I am unsatisfied with the cut.It’s not what I requested, but the groomer may have not heard me. The cut is uneven on her face, the top of her head is cut so short, along with her face. Some hairs are longer than the other, some hairs were missed.. Right side of the face is shorter than the left. I didn’t want her face short. To me, initially it looks like a mistake happened and they went with it. They cut off all the hair on her face. Now I’m worring when it’s going to grow back, it’ll poke her in the eyeThe chest was matted, so they shaved it. Some hairs again, missed. I didn’t request to have this done.Hairs around her front paw aren’t cut, the back yes.Nails still feel long but that’s fine.Private areas are very uneven cut.They cleaned her, she smells like very strong scent of eucalyptus. But she is now constantly shaking her head and scratching her face.My pup ran to me when she was released and she wanted me to pick her up. The employee asked if she was spoiled. Of course she is. I asked how the groom went, I don’t even remember their response. Just that she’s so cute.When I got home, my pup was unloving. She didn’t want anything to do with me. I can only hope it was a good experience for her. I truthfully don’t think she likes it based on how she’s acting.I sent pictures out, everyone says she looks cute. But pictures don’t justify what I see in person.I’m just very disappointed as mine and my pups first grooming visit.

We adore Sundance and Carmen at Grrreendog. They love our pets and we trust them completely with our dogs. They use environmentally conscious products and take whatever time is needed to get the job done. Our pups look and smell wonderful after each visit. They have a blueberry facial too - we always spring for that, our German Shepherds coat glows and she loves the pampering. What dog wouldnt?

The absolute best for your fur baby. They work with natural products to get them clean and comfortable. My pup had skin yeast issues that I was unaware of, and they developed a bath that completely cleared it up.

My 7 year old lab mix had her first experience at Grrreendog today. Corry can be nervous in new situations, but she seemed to be relaxed from the moment we walked in. Everyone was friendly and focused on Corey. When I picked her up, she was still relaxed - and she looked great. I highly recommend Grreendog.

The staff paid so much attention to our very nervous dog. It is very obvious that they love what they do and care for the dogs very much. Our dog looked great and was happy. We will use them again and recommend them to others!

I have a large (and very energetic) dog with lots of hair. The staff at grrreendog does a great job with him even though the groomer is not his favorite place to be. I know I can trust the staff to treat him well and keep him handsome!

While Copper may act like he hates getting groomed, he now thoroughly enjoys it thanks to Sundance and her groomers! His coat and nails have never looked better and they shower him with hugs and ear rubs. He throughly enjoys his spa days now...and he feels great too judging by his strut when we leave!! Worth every penny!!

They take great care of my elderly golden girl. They are accommodating with her fear of cages and inability to stand for long times. They always finish quickly, usually within an hour, fo far never more than 1.5. The last time she came back with ear bows 😍

A positive experience for our very needy dog and gave her the best cut ever. Staff were very friendly and adept at stress reduction for myself and my dog. Would certainly recommend.

I have a fearful and anxious rescue, who previously had to be medicated to be groomed. Grrreengog worked with him to feel more comfortable being groomed. They were so patient and understanding. He now can be groomed without being medicated first! Thank you grrreendog!

I came here after seeing a dog at my apartment complex that was always well groomed and asking the owner where she goes. I’m very picky about my dog’s haircut and they did exactly as requested! Great customer service and he was ready when they said he’d be!

These people are wonderful with my dog! Bruiser gets his nails done there and somehow they keep him calm, and get it done quickly.

I have a Shiba Inu which has a very thick coat and every time we go there she gets the whole package done for a great price and they always make her look great! Its like a Spa day for her. Unfortunately, I did try to recently make an appointment and was unable to due to the time frame they are open to as I am at work. My break was at 2:30pm and I was unable to make an appointment within their 3:30pm closing time due to there being no real office number listed. I called the number available which I believe leads me to the owner, the owner asked that I call the office. I went to look online and there is not a separate number anywhere. Sadly I may need to bring her somewhere else this time since I am trying to get her in ASAP. Maybe they will call me back so I have the number for next time! Overall, this place is great just a little annoyed that there is no office number listed.

One-on-one grooming theyre very in tune to your animal they dont push them beyond their limits and my Benji baby came out looking great, a little pricey

Dogs look nice, they seem happy & their coats were nice and soft. One of our dogs is easy scared and she came out very happy.

My three dogs very happy and calm throughout the grooming process and came home happy relaxed and beautiful ! Best grooming experience ever!

The folks at Grrreendog were so patient and thoughtful with our dog, who has a lot of fear of getting his nails clipped. Somehow they got through all his squirming to finally get this taken care of!

My separation anxiety vpet does so well here. She is happy when I pick her up, and emotionally supported when I drop her off.

We love the convenient location and the friendly staff there. Our boy smells so good and walks out proudly every time! The green aspect of their business just sweetens the pot.

My puppy stated at GrrreenDog when she was just four months old. I cannot give this places enough stars. They are kind, considerate, gentle, and warm. They are excellent communicators. They care deeply about the dogs and it shows in everything that they do. My puppy also received her first puppy cut there as part of her day care day. They were encouraging and supportive during her groom, ensuring that it was a positive experience. I called and visited at least 10 doggy care facilities and nothing compared to GrrreenDog. The owner and staff are present and involved.

Stella is always scared of new places and new people but the staff welcome her lovingly and I always have the peace of mind that she’s in good hands! I come to pick her up and before she notices me shes quiet and calm in her spacious pen. Once she sees me she can’t wait to play! Stella bad tear stains and they did the sugar scrub on her, what a pampered pup!

Nola and Tiny Dancer had their first official bath today. They were excited about everything! They were immediately comfortable with every one theres and got to flirt with a very handsome fluffy boy. They came out clean and fluffy and happy themselves.

Great place to bring your dog for grooming!I take me 2 year old corgi, named Einstein, here just about every 8 weeks.They always do a very through job, they are very friendly and they dont use any harmful chemicals that are potentially bad for the environment and/or your pet.Fair prices. Highly recommend!

Our golden doodle was just groomed today. He looks absolutely amazing. We couldn’t of asked for a better cut. They listened to us and did exactly what we were hoping for. Plus he smells amazing. Would highly recommended Grrreendog Grooming!!!
