We had our first experience with Animal Loving Care grooming, and they were amazing! Joy looks absolutely incredible, and I couldn’t be happier with everything they did. Jennifer and Ruby were both wonderful and took such great care of her. It was clear how much they care about the animals, and their attention to detail was top-notch. We’ll definitely be returning!

We brought our beloved little 7 year old Yorkie Carl to Animal Loving Care last month and I haven’t stopped talking about it since. My partner had a tragic incident with a dog walker years ago, so she (understandably) finds it hard to trust anyone with our baby boy and these people were beyond thoughtful, communicative, professional and fun! I would highly recommend taking your pet to ALC for grooming! Melody has always done an amazing, and thorough job with our cavapoo, Franklin! He gets so excited every time we bring him there and adores her. You can always count on Melody to put in the time and effort to clean up your pup.

Golda Jing, my Korean K9 rescue cocker spaniel/poodle mix, and I absolutely adore Indi! She consistently makes every grooming experience a delight and works wonders in transforming my muppet of a dog into a stunning beauty. We receive countless compliments whenever were out, and I never hesitate to recommend Indi to others due to her exceptional dog-handling skills and impeccable grooming talents. Just took our new rescue a 5lbs 7 year old Maltese to get her first grooming under our watch and I am so glad we went to Animal Loving Care. Our groomer was and now is Analise, who took great care not only with our beloved dog but myself and my partner as owners.We were more nervous than our dog, whom we knew would be squiggly when it came to sheers and clippers, but Analises communication and ability to make us feel calm and confident in leaving our pet with her for a few hours was exactly what we needed.Our result was picture perfect and exactly what we had hoped for. The price also isnt nearly as high as you might think for what they do. I feel great about this place and their services.

We love ALC! My 60lb doodle puppy is difficult to groom -- he loves to wiggle around and is super energetic. ALC not only makes him look fabulous, but also treats him with kindness. The staff are professional and competent. I make the effort to walk 2 miles to them because their reputation is so good and we are very satisfied customers. Thanks, ALC!

We love ALC!! Our 6lb Chihuahua, Audrey, can’t contain her excitement when we walk up to their door- like she makes excited noises I don’t hear her make anywhere else and she can’t wait to run in! Audrey went through a little tough period with fear and ALC was more than helpful with her needs and making sure she had all she needed for a positive experience at daycare. The ALC staff is always super communicative, friendly, and you can tell they really love what they do, which is exactly what you look for when trusting someone with your furbaby. I also love seeing our girl playing throughout the day on their Instagram🤩 We just got another puppy and can’t wait for her to join in the fun!

Animal Loving Care is paradise for dogs. It’s a beautiful space and my pug could not be more excited to go there. When we walk in the general vicinity of ALC, she pulls us there. She comes home tired, happy, and calm. The staff is caring, personable, and always remembers her name. Yesterday, my pug brought her dog walker to the front door and refused to leave. That’s how much she loves it. They post great videos on their instagram of the dogs playing and it’s so fun to watch. We’re lucky to have such a wonderful place for dog daycare in the neighborhood.

I brought Lily to ALC for grooming when I first adopted her. She had no dog socialisation, but was very sweet natured, and ALC offered to bring her into daycare so that she could learn how to interact with other dogs. I don’t know what I would do without having this trusted safe place for Lily to play and stay. The staff are all wonderful and I feel they love and take care of Lily as I do. I also appreciate that there is structure, which Lily needs and a back yard for her to play outside. ALC is not the closest daycare to where I live, but it’s absolutely the right one for my dog!

Indi is amazing! She spent over 3 hours on Charlie our Havanese the first time she cut him. His cut grows in perfectly every time. The staff is great and so is the price of $85 for the works!

Bobbie loves his furry friends at ALC and the staff! He doesn’t play too much (from what I hear) and he spends most of the day “helping” at the front desk! Haha! The entire staff is loving and take the best care of him when he’s at daycare or boarding! I never worry about a thing when he is there. If you’re searching for a groomer in this area, look no further! My dog is usually nervous at the groomers but ever since she started going to the Spaw at ALC, she seems very happy. The groomers here take such good care of her and they now know Winky by name! Highly recommend!

Definitely recommend taking your fur baby here. My groomer was Gabby and she did justice for my little Malshi, Apollo. It was his first time getting groomed at 4 months. Even though he may nibble, Gabby was professional and very compassionate with how she treated Apollo. Gabby talk to me about the type of cut I want and even sent videos and progress notes. At the end, she took pictures of Apollo in his little scarf and videos as well. She also showed me videos of him interacting with the other dogs.Animal Loving Care thank you so much and even taking me and Apollo on such short notice. The absolute best grooming salon in the city! I have been going to Mie for a couple years now after struggling to find a good groomer and she is absolutely amazing with my 2 yorkies! Thank you for always taking such great care of Neo and Leeloo

ALC take fantastic care of our dog, Lenny. Hes so excited to get there, he barks 2 blocks away. We appreciate the care and attention they give him, and feel very relaxed knowing hes under such good care.

I brought in my mini cockapoo for a haircut and it was lovely! I really liked how his haircut came out. I was also glad that the perfume wasnt as intensely fragrant as other spots.

Always happy with our grooming experience. My dog Nooks is a bit feisty, nippy and a handful but Lexa is always able to give him a beautiful groom. She is always super nice and helpful with advice. Definitively recommend giving them a try.

Casey always has a blast at ALC. she always comes back looking like she had a fun day and sleeps like a champ. I was always apprehensive about the other dogs at doggy daycare, but I know here they’re a great bunch and the staff looks after their well-being. We trust the staff (and the groomers) ALC and are comfortable leaving our pup here for a day or for a week. They’re a great local business we’re happy to support.

We LOVE ALC!! A special shout-out to the Sunday morning staff, but especially Jenn, Gabby (& Shannon too!). Koda is not the easiest dog to handle, especially in situations that are stressful for her. The SPAW staff go above and beyond to make each of her grooming visits as smooth as possible for her, us and the other dogs that are present and we are so very grateful.

Animal Loving Care came highly recommended and we are so happy, as is our pup! The staff is loving, supportive and communicative. You can tell they love dogs and know what they are doing. At first we only sent our dog for grooming, but we’ve now left him for boarding a few times and it’s been a wonderful experience knowing he’s in safe hands. They also update their Instagram story regularly so you can see how your pup is doing!

My pups needed a new groomer and via a google search found ALC. So so happy to have found them. Everyone the pups and I interacted with were incredibly friendly, patient and caring. Lexa asked great questions about both my pups and took such great care of them. I love that the grooming takes place in an open space vs a closed off back room where you are unable to see whats going on. ALC is officially our new groomer! Thank you for being an amazing team.

Animal Loving Care is a terrible place they didn’t provide my fur baby water but told me if your BF doesn’t drink out of public bowls that was why she didn’t drink water. I ask why they did not call to let me know, I called twice to check on her but no one said anything . After 2 days of being there when we picked her up she was so thirsty and dehydrated she was drinking water out of our hands. We live in CA so this was quite an experience. I spoke with the manager and at first they were kind and took ownership of the incident but refused to give any compensation.The family returned to NY 3 yrs later and decided to give them another chance and figured it would not happen again. We are from NY but have been away from NY for years and felt the place was good because of the area. Not true, big mistake! We reminded the owners of the experience, they agreed that we should bring her bowl.Beware of this place it happened again they didn’t watch her and she didn’t get water. I called to check up on her and nothing was said, this time thank God I only left her for one day. If I could rate a zero I would, the manager is unkind. .They refused to refund any money or take ownership this time. When asked; if my Furbaby was given water or did she drink water, I was told no by an employee but the manger called back with a lye, he is arrogant . I would never return or recommend this place, to any animal lover, They Don’t Love Animals if they did they would care about people that take excellent care of their animal. This place is expensive and only cares about the money. Beware it’s not a good place to take your Furbaby. I don’t write reviews but after my experiences with this place I had to. They are so about the money they have the nerve to keep emailing advertising for day care or birthday treats for my baby. I wish I had of taken a video to post how thirsty my baby was after her visits to this place.Beware the name of this place…It isn’t Animal Loving or Caring At All!

I am in complete awe with my dog’s grooming. My girls hate the groomer and had a bad experience at their last. Someone recommended Gabby to me and i followed her on Instagram Nov2021. After six months of seeing many Instagram posts and stories, I was beyond excited to take my girls to someone that is truly passionate about their job. Fast forward to May2022,Gabby did not disappoint! As you can see in the photos my girls came out absolutely beautiful. They have never left the groomer so happy. Just by their demeanor you can really tell that they were cared for with kindness and love. I will 100% continue taking my girls to Gabby because She is a true gem in her field. I trusted her with my dogs before even got to meet her and that’s a rarity. Book with Gabby you won’t regret it!

I have been bringing my dog to ALC for two years now, and the staff has always been responsive, thoughtful, and thorough. While grooming has sometimes been difficult to get just right, Tatia most recently groomed my papillon and did a STELLAR job! She took my notes perfectly, clearly cared about his groom, and overall did a wonderful job with him. Highly recommend boarding with ALC and grooming with Tatia!

This place is great, though just as expensive as the rest. Analise does a great cut, and enthusiastically adheres to the style we prefer. Communications are clear and by text and/or email, and they’re good at managing expectations at drop-off. The room is small and open so you can see where your pet will be groomed. It was recommended to us by another doodle owner; they apparently do doodles well.

When we first moved to the neighborhood all we heard was that we needed to send our dog to ALC. Let me tell you it has been so WORTH IT! I was nervous to bring him, but the staff was so kind and really took care of him. He is the happiest boy when he comes home! He has made a ton of new friends and I love how much the staff really cares about all of the pups. I will be sending him here for the rest of my life and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to send their dogs.

I had an exceptional first-time dog grooming experience with Melody! Her passion and expertise truly shone through as she pampered my furry friend. My newest kitty just won’t let me trim his nails. But I brought him to Gabby at the SPAW and she was so quick and gentle and calming. He is such a happy kitty again, and we were in and out in about 90 seconds no joke. Best $20 ever spent.

We take our rescue dog, Jo, to both the ALC groomer and daycare. I am normally a very nervous dog mom but I always feel comfortable knowing she is under such great care! She has lots of fun with the dogs and staff. Highly recommend.

Were really happy with Animal Loving Care grooming, they always make Ralph look so good. The staff is so nice and caring, Ralph LOVES going there! He pulls me to the shop anytime we pass by so I know they are good to him when I drop him off!

My pup have been boarding overnight with ALC often the past few months and she always seems so happy and comfortable there. They also take such a good care of giving her medication that she needs on regular basis for her eye. It is a huge comfort to know that they care about our little furry friends just as much as we do.

Great stylists at the spa that can work with all varieties of dogs and hairs. Custom cuts and listen to customer preferences. Prices are comparable for the area (high) but thats not surprising

Alex is amazing. Leo, my giant golden doodle, always looks his most handsome after a groom with Alex and it grows out well. ALC is the best in town. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Happy healthy dogs.

We have been using Animal Loving Care for a year now, since we brought our sweet pup home. They really are an amazing resource for anyone with a dog. We absultely love their groomers. And our dog never hesitates to walk into the spaw, and she always comes out looking and smelling fresh and relaxed. We also use their daycare all the time. Our pup comes home from there happy and tired...just the way we like her:) And recently, we have boarded her overnight. The longest we have stayed is 5 nights, but honestly, I would have no problem leaving her there longer if needed. Again, she comes home happy and tired. They post videos and pics so we can actually see how much fun she is having. This is our first dog, and ALC has been a huge part in making the transition to a family with a dog totally managable and enjoyable. I love having a safe place to leave her when needed. And they always do their best to accomodate last minute requests. I cannot say enough about the care our pup gets and the kindness they have for the humans. 10/10 every time.

Our husky came back a new dog! 😁 they texted me updates, treated him amazingly, and the price is great. Knowledgeable staff gave us tips on how to keep our boy groomed and clean in between visits. Our husky also isn’t great with other dogs and they kept him safely gated off from the rest of the pups. Highly recommended!

There are 4 amazing services at ALC that we use all the time! We have an anxious rescue dog and ever person at ALC from the groomers, the daycare staff, the walkers and the boarding staff have taken the time to get to know our dog, form relationships with her and care for her dearly. Ive been taking my puppy, Georgie, to ALC for a couple of months now and I cant say enough wonderful things about them. She returns happy and tired from daycare and I always know shes in good hands when I board her. They post lots of pictures and I love seeing her run around in the back yard. Three cheers for Julia :) When we got our puppy, Tilda, she was a very nervous and shy little girl, so we were pretty worried about how shed handle her first groom...Julia has given her every one of her (three!) haircuts to date, and each has been perfect — but more importantly, Tilda always comes home in good spirits; we used to take our old dog to a different groomer, and she was always a little shell-shocked afterward. Tilda is still nervous about some things, of course, but its such a good feeling to know well keep working through them with Julia somewhere like ALC...so thanks!

My dog Lottie stayed here for a recent 4-day boarding, and they treated her so well! We received pictures each day via their instagram stories, and felt assured she was being treated with care and love. Thank you ALC!

We have been loyal ALC customers for years! Our Havanese, Wally, loves his daycare and boarding days, and the team is always so kind and responsive. Additionally, our dog can be quite sensitive but Lexa has mastered his groom. We moved away from the area around a year ago but still travel to take Wally to ALC a few times a week, we trust their services so much. Many thanks to the wonderful team!

Our dog, Oko, has been a dog-walking client for eight years, since she was a puppy. The dog walking team is attentive, responsive and provide so much puppy-love. When she was a little pup and when she was injured, they gave her special care and really looked after her like she was their own. Oko is a little skittish about grooming, but they make her feel loved and special and she comes out looking great. We couldnt recommend ALC enough to anyone in the neighborhood looking for great dog walking, daycare or grooming. Thanks ALC team!

I have been taking my finicky pup for grooming to Gaby/Animal Loving Care for a while and they are amazing all around! The haircut is always adorable and, more importantly, they are patient and sweet to my very nervous pup. Cant recommend them highly enough!

ALC has been great with our pup, Enzo. They are so patient with him and do an excellent job. He is generally not a fan of baths, but ALC makes him as comfortable as possible and we know he’s in great hands when he’s with them. Would highly recommend.

We absolutely love Animal Loving Care -- for their day care, boarding and grooming services. We have been bringing our beloved dog there since she was a puppy and have never had anything but a wonderful experience with the entire ALC team. They truly care about the dogs in their care and you feel this in working with them.Our dog can be a little antisocial in the dog park and yet she absolutely loves going to ALC to play with the other dogs. Even though she doesnt like being handled, she does great at the Spaw when getting groomed as well. We dont know what wed do without ALC!!

I have taken my shy dog to the team at ALC for a few years now. They’re the only place in the neighborhood that I can soothe him for a nail trim and other services. I have had him with multiple different technicians and it’s always been great. So thankful for the team!

Great place! Warm and attentive staff. The dogs play together and spend time outside. If you have special instructions or meds for your pup you can trust they will give your dog excellent care. The only place I board my dog.

This is our pup’s favorite puppy camp for when we are out of town. They are so so sweet and caring here and always remember our little pup. We’ve had a number of late drop offs and pick ups and they are always amazingly accommodating.

My husband and I have to travel from time to time and this is the only place we would ever leave our pup Paisley. She’s been coming to/staying at ALC since she was 6 months old and she’s 4 now! The staff goes above and beyond the call of duty. They are dog lovers through and through and always keep us informed if Paisley stays with them for a while. We call ALC the Disney Land for dogs, because they LOVE it there - they get to play outside, get soooo much love and are taken care of perfectly. It’s a playful, warm and loving place and I couldn’t recommend them enough. Even when I gave birth to my son 3 weeks early, ALC jumped in and accommodated Paisley immediately. I could go on and on about how much I love them!

Great place to do doggy day, grooming, and boarding. My dog loves it and always come home tired. The staff is very friendly and professional. Highly recommend if you are looking for a one stop shop for your dogs.

Our dog had not been kenneled in the five years since she was rescued from a puppy mill. ALC could not have been more attentive, concerned and professional about her care. It was a terrific experience all around.

What a great place. The staff is always cheery and the animals are taken very good care of. Both the spa and the day care are ran well and everyone is an animal lover. Special shoutout to Shannon for truly taking care of my pet and myself when I walked in.

We started bringing our dog to ALC a few years ago, acting on a recommendation from a fellow dog owner in our building. The staff here are not only courteous and friendly, but they also excel in prompt communication. We usually schedule appointments with Alex for our Bichon/Cocker Spaniel mix. Alex consistently does a fantastic job. On occasions when Alex isnt available, and weve had to opt for another groomer, weve always been satisfied with the results. Initially, we lived much closer to ALC. However, even after moving 45 minutes away, we continue to make the journey to ALC for their exceptional services.

I never write feedback bc I never really have the time BUT we just love how you take care of Britt while she is there. Even though you guys keep her looking young, she is actually 11 years old. Not only does she look and smell beautiful, I appreciate you taking extra care of her, now that her back legs arent working so well.. We especially appreciate the way you indulge us in ALL of our requests (ie: pink, sparkly, obnoxious bow etc). They even do little photo shoots with her! Hands down the best grooming provider in NYC...and beyond. Weve been taking our dog here for 3+ years and 5 stars are not enough. Gabby is a grooming savant. Ive never seen a better groomer and as amazing as Gabby is professionally, shes an even more awesome person. No matter who I have interacted with over the years, they exude excellence, professionalism, and courtesy.

Ive been bringing my dog to Animal Loving Care for grooming for many years. In fact, my last dog went to ALC for 10 years and my current dog, Eloise, has been going since I brought her home, 4 years ago. Cant recommend them enough! Mei is our go to and does a great job! But, I would also trust any of the other groomers! Eloise always looks great! The staff is professional, courteous and laid back at the same time!

When we moved back to NYC we prioritized being close to ALC because we love them so much. They have always treated our dogs with exceptional care.

Ive been looking for a groomer for months when I came across Animal Loving Care. I read all the reviews and thought I would give this place a try. I took my Standard Poodle a couple of days ago to be groomed. Everyone there greeted me with smiles and a warm welcome. Lexa, the groomer, listened to my concerns and reassured me that my dog will be well taken care of.Well, when I picked him up, he was happy and not scare. Most importantly, he looked amazing! Lexa did an amazing job!If you are looking for a groomer, this is THE PLACE to go. They are professional, courteous and they love dogs! You wont be disappointed!

We were looking for a new grooming place after moving from UES.At the beginning, Animal Loving Care Team provided a great support by answering all of our questions and helped with booking!We also liked the fact that- one had to provide a certificate with vaccinations- the closest appointment would be in 2 weeks (but we wasked to be notified in case someone would cancel their appointment and we could take it)The last but not least, Melody did a great job! We liked the final result so much! Additionally, the full grooming took only ~ 2 hours!Love the service, the way our dog was treated and friendliness of staff!Animal Loving Care is our place for getting a haircut for our doggy from now!

ALC is a great choice to take your dog for doggy day care. My dog loved going here and was excited to come every time. The dogs get the chance to be outside a lot in their nice big backyard. I also enjoyed being able to check in on my dog via their Instagram as they post regularly throughout the day. They also offer overnight boarding and pickup services which were a lifesaver as well. The staff was also very friendly and helpful if you had any questions.

We had a horrible experience at Animal Loving Care (ALC) today and we will definitely not be returning. We dropped off our dog at 1:15pm (a bit before our appointment time). When I dropped by after 3.5 hours - the staff apologized because they didnt contact us to let us know of the delays and they informed us it would be another 1.5 to 1 hour 45 minutes. Thats insane - 5+ hours at the groomers is unacceptable.And when we did finally get her back, she was so agitated and clearly in pain in her groin area. The area where she pees from is red and irritated. She kept licking the area and wouldnt leave it alone. Horrible. We are extremely upset and if we hadnt gotten her back close to 6pm, we wouldve taken her straight to the vet.I was already nervous about leaving her there since our dog refused to go in to ALC when we walked there to drop her off. I even told the staff that and to please be gentle with her since she seems to not want to be there. Now I am convinced that she had a bad experience at ALC the last time we were there also.Horrible.

ALC does it all! I havent even used all of their services but they are an absolute lifesaver for daycare. If you are a regular, you dont need reservations and you know that your pup is in good hands. They even do pick-up and drop off, and you can do a combo of daycare and grooming, and they also do dog walking. I havent used the overnight services, but it looks like a great environment to sleep over--my pup is used to sleeping in bed with us, so its great they have a big bed with a staff member overnight. They are always super responsive to email/calls/texts.Update: They are busier than when I first wrote this review, so reservations are now often needed as they fill up quickly for daycare in the morning. But just because they are the best! Our pup has spent the night, and I feel so much better about him being there than anywhere else I can imagine. The staff is so loving and wonderful. Highly recommended for all their services!Update again: Just to say that ALC continues to be the very best. We can never move!

I could not have better things to say about ALC! It is the only place weve ever boarded our dog, and they do the absolute best job of grooming our 90 lb goldendoodle to boot! We have been to many groomers in both Manhattan and Brooklyn, and they far and away do the best and most consistent job each and every time. They are also kind, responsive, attentive, professional and truly make you feel that they really care about your dog, which I believe they do! We always feel that our dog is in safe and wonderful hands when we bring him there, and I couldnt recommend them higher for your boarding and grooming needs!

Lexa has done a great job with our dog, who is hard to work with and very nervous about being groomed. She made several recommendations for thing we could do to make it easier for him, and these have really worked. She has also been very patient and kind to him, even though he is honestly very challenging. We really appreciate Lexa and ALC for being so clear and easy to work with. The groomers other than Lexa who have worked with us have been very good, too; I feel like Lexa has really taken a personal interest and been able to work with our dog even though he is a challenge.

We love ALC! They take such good care of our Portuguese Water Dog who dreads being left somewhere without us. They are so loving and patient and the grooming is spectacular every time. Love that he comes home with a new bandana every time too! Thanks ALC!

I cant say enough good things about Animal Loving Care! I began by taking my dog for grooming there, after it was suggested by multiple doodle owners in the neighborhood. I love my dogs haircuts, and she runs to go into ALC, which is the sign of a great groomer and caring staff! When I began a new job, my dog started 2x a day walks with one of their expert walkers (Justin--hes fantastic!). And she has also recently been going there for daycare and boarding. Its wonderful to have a place in the neighborhood you trust so much for all of your dogs needs. Thats what Animal Loving Care has been for us!

My puppy absolutely loves going to daycare at Animal Loving Care. She drags me down the block as soon as she realizes where were headed and comes out absolutely exhausted every time :) She had her first grooming appointment at the spaw the other day and looks absolutely adorable. Highly recommend their services!!

Over the past couple of years I have boarded my 10-year-old chihuahua-dachshund mix at ALC several times and I could not be happier with the care she receives. The team understands and loves dogs, and they bring out the best in my pup. She tends to be more shy than playful with other dogs, but while boarding at ALC she becomes comfortable enough to have fun with the pack. (And she adores the generous humans who indulge her love to be chased.) ALCs Instagram posts are above and beyond - Im so grateful to see my dog daily while away. I have several other options closer to my home but I trek three neighborhoods away to take my dog to ALC because there is nowhere else Id rather she be - they are simply the best.

We have a wonderful experience with the ALC team. At first we were quite nervous about our pups first grooming/ daycare session, but Adrienne and team quickly put all our nerves to rest! Gabby welcomed Muffin to the facility and checking in with us regularly, showing us how he was playing with the other pups . We were fortunate enough to see Mie in action as she was grooming him and was very impressed with her care for him. We were very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend anyone looking for a great local one stop shop pet care business. Well be back!

I’ve been bringing my miniature schnauzer here since I got him in 2021. They always do a great job, but I would like to hi-light the job Tatiana did today, she gave him the perfect schnauzer cut. The staff at ALC is warm and responsive. I use ALC as a dog walking service and a spa for my 2 year old French Bulldog. Whenever I have a question or need to change the schedule, they immediately respond to my needs. Plus, our dog walker, Douglas, knows exactly how to play with my dog, walk her and treat her as if she were his own. He also doesn’t hesitate to pick up packages or make sure everything in my home is ok. I whole heartedly recommend ALC

I had my first grooming experience with gabby, who came with high recommendations. I must say it was everything I hoped for and more. The front desk receptionist was super friendly amd welcoming. Gabby the groomer was awesome she makes you feel so comfortable and you know your baby is in good hands. This is my permanent groomer and I live all the way in Nassau county. The neighborhood is super cool, so there’s great places to shop and hang out while you wait. This was honestly a great experience and they gave me such peace of mind knowing my puppy was in good hands. I highly recommend this establishment and I highly recommend gabby.

When Frank first started going to daycare at ALC he was nervous and spent most of his time pacing the room and panting uncontrollably. The staff is nothing short of amazing. They alerted me to how he was feeling, gave me a realistic plan to get Frank comfortable going forward and they treated him with as much love and care as I would myself. Now he pulls the entire way to daycare and cant wait to go in! The staff is so friendly and they really do go above and beyond for your pet. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place for your pet when you cant be there yourself!

ALC Spaw is the best! My dog sees both Gabby and Mie and both do a fantastic job. My dog even loves to go to the groomer because of how amazing they both are, and the environment. She always leaves with the cutest bows and bandanas.

Took my dog to get groomed here and this place is wonderful! Not only was the cut clean, on point with what I requested and timely, but I LOVE that they allow dogs to roam around the floors afterwards instead of caging them up! I was even asked if any alterations needed to be made to my pups cut (none were necessary) but it was nice to be asked, because I have gone to other groomers where I would have asked for changes but I have never been asked this before!Theres a reason why theyve come so highly recommended by everyone in the area, I would give them all the stars!

So grateful to have found ALC! This was the first place I called to set up daily walks for our dog and I could not be happier with their services. The staff there are all so kind and truly love dogs, plus they are super responsive to any calls and emails we send their way. The dog walkers are so thoughtful and responsible - recently, one of them texted me to let me know our dog had seemed ill while on his walk, so I was able to get home quickly and take him to the vet right away. Our dog has also now boarded with them and had his grooming done there, all excellent experiences. They even had a cute holiday party for clients this year! We truly love this place.

We cannot say enough great things about ALC, Adrienne and her staff. Our goldendoodle Bodie Blue has been going to boarding, getting groomed and being occasionally walked at ALC for two years now. Each member of the staff truly cares for the dogs and loves them like their own. Goldendoodles can have difficult coats and Mie does an amazing job grooming and keeping him looking handsome as ever and I am extremely picky with his groom. We have sent many friends to ALC for their various services and every single one has come back thanking us for the referral. I cannot say enough about this place. My dog Lucy is a DIVA. Weve been However, when she goes to ALC, she is behaved, pampered and comes out looking like a movie star. The staff is always kind and professional. And, they go out of their way to make Lucy feel special. Also the new SPAW is luxurious! Animal Loving Care was home away from home for my pup. Whether he needed daycare to socialize with other dogs for half a day or full day or I needed a place for him to stay for a few nights. It’s a testament to the owner’s professionalism and leadership, the quality of care and service that is provided to each furry client. The staff create an atmosphere of family, and while I knew my animal would be loved, I also felt comfortable with the level of supervision to ensure a friendly yet safe environment for all.

The most incredible, friendly, well-trained staff (they go above and beyond on training and safety for your pup). Staff who are clearly more than just staff to ALC AND to their customers - we truly consider the folks at ALC an extension of our family.One thing that makes ALC stand apart is how they truly get to know your pup, you, and your unique needs. Theres not a one size fits all approach. Even when we take Kiefer for group daycare, we know that they understand his needs and his requirements for breaks throughout the day. They ensure your dog is properly stimulated, but never over-stimulated. This helps keep your pup happy and healthy (and before finding ALC, this was actually one of the main things we struggled with... most places just let the dogs go like a free for all during daycare).Our dog walker, Justin, is the absolute best!! He was so great that even when the pandemic hit and we were working from home all the time, we continued with the dog walking.There arent enough good things to say about ALC. If you want someone who loves your pup like you do, ALC is the only option! We plan to continue boarding Kiefer there even though we no longer live in Brooklyn... thats how great they are!

My husband and I are out of town a lot and needed to find a cat sitter in Brooklyn who we could trust to take good care of our two cats, Oakley and Olaf. We came across Animal Loving Care and after speaking with them felt comfortable with them caring for our cats while we were away!We have nothing but amazing things to say about how well they have cared for our cats! Not only do they update us via email with pictures every time they come by our home, but they also take the time to hand write notes on how the visits are going so that we can read them whenever we return!We highly recommend using them for any of their services because in our opinion, they are the best place around!

I don’t know what I’d do without ALC! They were the reason I felt comfortable becoming a pet owner with my busy schedule, they are truly a second home for my dog Trudy. Trudy LOVES going to daycare there and they are always so flexible and helpful. They even pick up Trudy from home on long work days. Im always greeted by friendly staff. I’m so grateful for the reminders of keeping her updated on her vaccines (they even provide some oral vaccines there so I don’t have to make a vet trip) for both daycare and grooming services. They not only care about my dogs health but provide a safe environment for all doggos there.

We couldnt recommend Animal Loving Care enough. We have utilized almost all of their resources for our 1 1/2 year old rescue pup. He is groomed by Indi who does an absolutely FANTASTIC job. Captain isnt the easiest client (hes still scared of the blow dryer) but she does an amazing job making him feel comfortable and calm. He goes to daycare about once a week, I love watching the updates through instagram of him playing with all of his best buddies. Its a safe and incredible alternative for us. And finally we just had our first overnight sleepover. He came back to us, exhausted (in the best way), and happy. I cant express how lucky we are to have a service like this that treats our best buddy like their own. You MUST use Animal Loving Care.

Everyone at ALC is professional, attentive and loves animals. Every time I bring my dog to daycare he runs into the place, he LOVES going to ALC. Whenever I ask questions about my dogs day (when did he go to the bathroom, play, behave, etc) they always have the answer. They have also been a great resource for dog questions. Ive also had him groomed twice and he looks and smells so good afterwards. There dog walking Team and boarding services seem to be really good as well I feel 100% secure that my dog is safe and loved at ALC!

Tamika and team are the bestest!!!They saw me through a challenging illness when I was unable to walk my dog. And they worked smartly, kindly, and consistently to correct some of my dogs bad behavior-- he was very upset with my illness and the constant stream of strangers coming in and out of my apartment. Were now both doing better but if I do need dog walking support in the future I will call upon Tamika, Thurston, and team to help me out because I know without a doubt that they will.

Absolutely the best place to take your puppy so they can be the best version of themselves. Not only is the staff incredible to work with, but all of the pawrents are so friendly and encouraging. My two pups still need major work to become socialized but theyre definitely in great (and patient!!!) hands.

Marty has been going to ALC since he was 16 weeks old! He sees Lexa and he is obsessed with her even though I know he doesn’t love grooming. Not only is she gentle and super patient but he always looks 10/10. I call her the Marty whisperer because when she’s done, I always see him following her around through the window! She’s also patient with me and sends me pix and videos of my little nugget!

My dog slipped a disc due to a hereditary condition while he was staying at ALC and we were on vacation. They let us know right away and got him right over to VERG, where he had surgery. We cannot thank the team enough for being so attentive and going out of their way to ensure he got the care he needed. We moved out of Brooklyn a few years ago but we still make the long drive back into town to leave our dogs at ALC when we go on vacation.

We had a wonderful experience bringing our puppy for his first groom at the Spaw! Miyuki did a fabulous job - he looks beautiful, but its also practical - I can see his face and paws again. I also appreciated the feedback, so that I can work with him on being better next time.

I went today for a quick nail trim and ear wash. I was worried about my dogs nails as they were overgrown but they were able to cut half of them without harming my dog and It was super fast. The girl in the front was super nice and informative. They had all the dogs out and enjoying themselves not in a cage. Its a nice little spot. I havent tried any other services but I def will if need be.

Previously I sent my Urbie to daycare (Not here). He did really well the first time. However, the second time they said he was rowdy. My puppy Urbie has good manners, he listens to commands etc. However, he is 6months, so that should be stated. I decided to try ALC, he did really great and passed his trial. I will be taking him here on a weekly basis. He needs a safe place to hang out and play with other dogs. Thank you ALC.

Ive only had one experience with my pup so Ill probably return and update my review if anything changes. For a first experience, it was an overall pleasant one. There are things that need to be addressed though.To start with the good, they do give off a pleasant energy. When I was listing my pups health history and what to be careful of, Maggie the groomer was very friendly and attentive. If she didnt understand or needed clarification, she didnt hesitate to ask and verify. After my last few grooming experiences at other places, I was very wary of how much attention is paid to these preliminary consults. ALC does a great job of this; they even keep a file open on your animal. Just a heads up, first-timers will need to fill out a form on all 411 pertaining to pup or kitty & bring proof of immunization.When I arrived to pick up my pup, Maggie wasnt finished yet, but I didnt have a problem waiting. I feel like the seating area does require more daily cleaning. I immediately caught all stray dog hairs from the couch. Im also allergic to cats so Im pretty sure there was stray dander floating around.As for the cut itself, my pup looked like a bear from the body down. On the face, I had asked for her to have a rounder face- she came out too pointed for my taste. My mom asked her to trim some more on the face and also on the legs, and Maggie was patient enough to do so. I also did a very thorough inspection of her body to make sure no nicks were to be found.My issue was with the TAX that they charged. The base price is already $65(with no matting); add a tip and its around $75+. And on top of that, they charge tax? I made it known with the owners daughter/cashier that I was not happy with this. It makes no sense considering no other grooming place I have been to charges tax. I feel like this is just a ploy. It is a matter of principle and it absolutely rubs me the wrong way.Based on their care of my pup, Id give this place another shot. Only time will tell if they work out the kinks that I mentioned.

Ive been taking my dog here for ~2 years, now, and it is without a doubt, the best doggie daycare/boarding spot in the area.The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure your dog is taken care of and happy. Instead of just sitting around in a big, walled-off room like at other places, ALC has a nice downstairs area and a backyard where the dogs are given the chance to run around and play, with staff supervision, throughout the day. It sounds like nothing, but I believe this really makes a difference between a so-so daycare and a great one; my dog comes home waaaaaay more happy (and tired!) then she would at a place that just leaves the dogs to their own doings with the occasional check-in.The pricing is reasonable and if you buy packages for daycare they will throw in a free bath (as of 10/2017).I have never done a grooming or used their dogwalking service, so I cant comment on that, but their daycare and boarding services are top-notch and Id trust them with my dog over just about anyone else in the world.

I heard about this place from a woman walking her goldendoodle. I asked her where she goes because we have the same dog and her dog looked so beautiful. I took Benji there and have been in love with place every since. Everyone there is polite and professional. You explain what you are looking for your dog and they execute it 100%. Would not take Benji anywhere else.

I came here recently for a flea dip for my cat. He didn’t take it well, and they told me they couldn’t groom him as a result. This wasn’t my point of contention, however.I brought my boy to the vet and they treated him there, but we realized he had blood on his paws. The tech examined his nails and several of them were cut down past the quick, and one of his paw pads had been cut. I didn’t specifically request a nail trim and as experienced groomers I’d assume that they would be able to tell that his nails did not need to be trimmed.I was very upset by this and I won’t be bringing him back.

Great dog boarding, daycare, grooming and walking. We send our pup their for boarding and they are great. He plays with friends indoors and outside. They allow the dogs to sleep outside the crate which is nice as well.

Weve used ALC to book cat-sitting for years and have always had a great experience. The sitters always spend time with the pets and leave a note saying how they were during the visit.The price isnt cheap, but its on par with the competition. The storefront is in a random place at the end of Court st where there arent any subways.

Animal Loving Care is great! They are caring and kind. My Sandy was once fearful of the groomer, but ALC changed that. Sandy now walks in to ALC without hesitation and leaves looking adorable. :)

I have been bringing my malti-poo Maple to Animal Loving Care for a couple of years now and we just love it. I always feel confident when dropping her off that she will be in very, very good hands. Mia grooms her and she is the best, she is so kind and sweet and accommodating. Maple loves her. She always gives us the exact cut that we want and Maple comes out looking adorable :-)
